I am forced to approach this forum as I witnessed the highest level o[censored]nprofessionalism and arrogance today from the customer service department of airtel. By the way this is my second email to you guys

The whole process started in april when I received a flier in my bill promoting a scheme on Wi Fi connection. I called up the customer care and talked to Upasana. INTERACTION ID 71944566. I am quoting the exact words we discussed that day “ Upasana told me that I will be provided by a Wi Fi modem at a cost of Rs 1000/-. I need to activate speed on demand(Rs 25/- per hour) for at least 1 hour in a month for 4 months to get a cash back of Rs 250/- every month.”

I got the wi fi installed and used the speed on demand for 1 hour the following month. My bill did not reflect the cash back of 250 Rs, though they charged the cost of Wi Fi 1000 Rs. I called up the customer care and I was told that the scheme does not gives you the cash back. Instead I can use the speed on demand for upto 250 Rs for free. When I protested that I was told something different, my call was passed on to floor supervisor Neeru Bakshi. The date was 09th of May. Interaction ID 7744144. She told me that she will audit the original call with upasana and will get back to me by 13th of may. She never got back to me. I called up again on 14th of May and talked to floor supervisor Deepak Sharma. Interaction ID 78157983. My bill was already due by that time. He advised me to pay the whole amount and told me that neerubakshi is still in the process of auditing the call and will call me back in 2-3 days time. She never called back.

I called up again on 20th of may and talked to Nitin joshi. Interaction ID 79162666. I asked him the procedure of taking my complaint further. I asked him the address of ombudsman. He was clueless. He did not know anything about how to take the complaint further and he did know that there is an agency called obudsman. He gave me an email id care.[protected]@airtel.in. I wrote an email to the above email. I got a reply back that someone will call me back in 7 days time. No one did call back.

I called up again on 23rd of may and talked to Aashish. Interaction ID 79529459. He said to me that Neeru bakshi will call me back with in half an hour. I did not receive any call back from her. I called back again today i.e 09th of may and talked to yogesh ( int ID[protected]. He conveyed to me that neeru will call be back immediately. I did receive a call back from neeru bakshi at 10.18 am. She told me that she did audit the original call and there has been a mistake on upasana’s part. Upasana indeed gave me a wrong information about the cash back. “ But she cant do anything about it.” This came back as shock to me. I was shocked at the statement. There has been mistake at airtel’s end and they will not do anything about it. I again asked her the procedure of taking my complaint further and give me the interaction ID for the conversation. I also asked her to document all the information she gave to me. I also asked her to provide me in writing that the mistake has been on their part but nothing can be done about it. Initially she refused to give anything in writing. But on my insistence she requested on screen to email me all the conversations. She also gave me an email ID nodal.[protected]@airtel.in for further complaint. I kept on asking for the interaction ID but she said she will call me back in 5 minutes and disconnected the phone. I never got a call back from her. That is when I sent you my first email. I called back 121 on the same day and talked to Neeru Bakshi again. This time she came out with a solution that she will take back my Wi Fi modem and refund the money charged for it. I agreed for it.

After that I received a call from the ombudsman office and I told them that the matter has been resolved. Next day the Wi Fi modem was taken back from me with a promise that 1000/- rupees will be adjusted in the next bill. I received my next bill without any adjustment. I contacted Neeru Bakshi again and she said she is not sure if I will get back my money or not. She contacted her seniors and they refused for the waiver. I got a call from the senior team leader Mr Ajit singh. Interaction ID for that call is 85783827. This call was today 03/07/09 at 3.25 pm. He told me that there is no way that they can refund the money. the only offer he had was that he will return my Wi Fi modem and give me a refund of 500/- Rs. I was not happy with the solution. I want my whole money back. When I asked him guide me how to take my complaint further then he was clueless. He did not know what an ombudsman agency means. He gave me a number [protected] to get my complaint further. No one picks up the phone. When I asked him for the things in writing he said he cannot provide them in writing as then the matter becomes legal. Later he agreed to discuss with the correspondence team and get back to me.

I am shocked at the unprofessionalism and the hooliganism at everyone’s part. This the first time in my life that the agency says that they did a mistake but they can’t do anything about it. Why should I pay for the mistake done by airtel . So I request you to look into the matter and refund me the 1000/- rupees I was promised as per the original conversation. This is my last attempt to resolve the matter with in the agency. If my money is not refunded I will not hesitate to take the matter to the consumer court. I am also using a mobile phone from airtel [protected] and a land line at home[protected]. I will not hesitate to disconnect all my services and provide a negative feedback to any person known to me. I hope that we will reach an amicable resolution before I need to take any step further. I would also like to know how to contact the ceo and the chairman of the company

I had applied for getting my prepaid connection converted into a post paid connection but till date i have got this done all i m getting is a lame excuse and false commitments from Airtel executive which shows an unprofessional system process .

Airtel executive had been to my office on 25th June and collected the necessary documents and a amount giving me the Airtel SIM.
After that he said a verification executive will be coming to my place on friday and he doesn t turn up he calls me on Saturday he comes to my residence and does the verification again on monday i get a call from the airtel executive(Mr.Suresh) that he wants to meet me at my office but he doesnt turn up on monday and calls me on Wednesday and fixes a appointment at 2 PM where in he again doesn t turn up .
I approached the customer service for an update they said that in 12-18 hours it will be done which till date has not been done.
yesterday i escalated this to the supervisor (rajlakhsmi ) and she commited that it would be done in 12-18 hours which again was a false commitment . Yesterday evening again i call up the supervisor and he said that i will get a call and will be done in 8 hours .Today at 2.00PM i called up airtel i get a very bad response from (Shewta ) on this she has committed 4 hours and now i get a call from airtel saying that they would come for a verification again .
what is this scene or rather nonsense . I am a very old customer of airtel and i had never changed my number . Perhaps my number would say that.
If i don t get my connection done by today i would disconnect airtel and sincerely would not recommend airtel to any people i know .
This shows how unprofessional and a false commitments airtel would give that too when Airtel is a king in Mobile network .

Could you get this done by end of day because for tomorrow morning i have made up my mind to throw my airtel connection and get into other service providers .

    1) I received the call from Airtel Digital TV for negative balance. I checked my account details in

    2) I called up customer care no. The Customer Case executive told me following details.



    When I purchased the digital TV STB with one year subscription at that time the 10 rupees of Punjabi top up free for three months was been subscribed on 12-April-2009 by dealer. That three months have been completed on 11-July-2009 and there have been passed four days for that they have charged to my account.



    Customer Case executive had taken my request for cancellation for that free subscription the Order no is 4348936 and told me that I have to recharge at least 50 rupees otherwise my account would be suspended after seven days.





    My compliant is that I haven't subscribed after free period and no one from Airtel digital TV has intimated me.



    According to TRAI rule when any service has been charged after provided free period, the Operator should intimate the customer or stops the service.



    Airtel digital TV hasn't followed any one.

    So why should I pay for top up that I haven’t subscribed upfront.

    It was the fault of Digital TV.



    So My request to Airtel digital TV is that the charged should be reverted back.

    hi,
    I am getting cricket alerts without subscribing it. i m charged Rs.3 per sms i receive from 5454203.
    i dono how i can stop it..
    I recieved a messege yesterday that says:-

    Thank you for subscribing to SUB CSCORE. For 1st time user enjoy free alerts for 2 days. Enjoy the Airtel Service. To deactivate sms UNSUB CSCORE to 55383.

    Strange, as I have no interest in cricket (sorry guys) nor did I ever subscribe. A few other people I know have also been 'SUBSCRIBED' to this service without asking. Daylight robbery or what?

    I had taken GPRS service plan [protected]@month from airtel.In feb,2011 when my account was not having sufficient balance (98rs.) in that case they automatically deducted with lower plan which was of 60 rs without any prior intimation. I called 3-4 times for the same issue but they did not lodge any complain for this. |n my last conversation I asked them that is their any written policy for it then the concerned denied for it and when i asked them regarding intimation (phone /message) for this then he was telling like "GIVE US PROOF FOR THIS"...

    Now please let me know how will I take back my money as they are not ready for it.

    And after that I again took plan for 98 Rs. still they are deducting 60 Rs. I have message for this.

    AirTel — charged without intimation

    hi,my mobile no is[protected]..i had switched to postpaid from prepaid previously...this month is am getting a bill of 8500..on enquiry i am been told that i have 7000 from net usage,further 1500 for calls.calls i agree but internet i totally dont agree..i have a plan of 299 per month but my credit limit is 2000 how come i get a bill of 8000 without any intimation..

        Hi this is Seshasayana Reddy, i have applied for the new broad band connection in Munnekollala, Marathally, Bangalore area.

        since there was no fesibility of new connections or some other reason my application got rejected. so as for the Airtel policy they need to refund my application amount.

        i have been calling and running behind them for the fast 4 months and nothing has happened.

        on top of that every they are making to waste Rs30 on phone calls to the Airtel customer care.

        i really got hesitated and wanted to file a complaint aganest their services.

          I am forced to send this complaint to you as the circumstances are pushing me to do so, to be honest to you i am very upset about a few things which has happened to me recently, in terms of customer service airtel is serving False commitment, unfriendly customer associates, useless service.
          This is in regard to the MMS issue i am facing with mobile No [protected] i have requested to start MMS Service on my phone on 5th July.09 bt till now the service has not been activated till today i.e 15th July.09
          I hv called thousands of time to customer care they kept on giving dates but till now it is not
          sorted out my problem is i cannot send mms it says failed / No Account and if someone sends an mms it gives a weblink and says please visit airtel.in / Data Account not exixts / Check settings it says page not found i dont understand what the problem is and how to get it resolved the customer care people will donothing more than taking a complaint & discoonecting the calls.
          On 13th July.09 I recieved a call from sr. Customer Care exec. of airtel promising me tht the same servie would start till the evening but all in vain. I dnt thnk that to activate this service this much time is needed.
          If the person thinks to call them one could'nt talk with Customer Care ;peole over there r just harrasing the customers bcoz oof which only The Airtel is losing thier customers.
          I request you to kindly do the needful .

            I am a customer of Airtel Digital TV since 6th May 2009. My Customer ID is [protected]. When I went to Airtel office to inquire the plans of Airtel Digital TV on the first day, Gurpreet Singh the sales person of Airtel Digital TV, who told me that in 'MEGA Pack Rs.2000' Airtel is offering 'ESPN Plus' top-up free for 2 months, which will get activated after 1 month of the installation. It was installed on 6th May 2009. Now, its 15th July 2009 and I hav'nt got 'ESPN Plus' activated yet. When I talked to Gurpreet Singh, he said that he has not told me about free 'ESPN Plus'. After that I gave a complaint to [protected]@airtel.in but their reply was as under:-

              i m a student of MBA and reguller user of airtel, i m also using airtel mobile office, it's speed is too too slow, i really frustrated. i use airtel mobile office regullerly, when i open any simple site it takes ages to open that site. why company gave this type of survice that not work properly, for giving us trubble, or for earning money, it's speed is too slow if i downloand any project so it's speed is 1.5 to 3.0 it is too tooo slow. we can do nothing with this speed, company should close this type of bad survices, we don't want tooo much speed but we want some more speed only "it should about 25 to 30 kbps downloding speed" it will be comfortable for any user of mobile office whether it will reliance idea or airtel this downloading speed will comfortable for us. and company will not found any complain regarding this gprs speed subject.
              i hope my complain will be lestened by u.

              the complaints about very low mobile office speed is true. iam also facing these low speed problems. Airtel is taking rupees 474.00 for 1 month subscription of gprs mobile office and the consumer is getting low speed as well as receiving pulse stops after some times, breaking all downloads . The pulse will be back only after disconnection and again connecting. so i think this service is not good. its only useful for email checking and simple use. please make any changes in mobile office speed and disconnection problem...

                I am receiving the bill for the service which i've never opted for.The service is called mitti ke rang and it started it's own and deducted 30 rs from my account my mobile no is [protected].When i lodged the complaint they assured me the service has been deactivated, but now again in this months's bill they have deducted 30 rs.
                kindly deactivate the service again and credit my account back with the amount of rs. 30 on an urgent basis

                  Directory Enquiry

                  I am having a Airtel Fixed line at my residence. I wanted to check the details about a particular Airtel no. The directory enquiry no in Airtel is 1971. I have been trying this no for the past 10 days but in vain. I have tried calling this number during office hours ( 9 - 18 hrs), during evenings, midnights and also early morning. Whenever I call the IVRS says "all our executives are busy please call later" and the line is disconnected....

                  my airtell prepaid cell no [protected] .the company has debited Rs 40/- for the name of some special service which i had not activated in my cell .when i approached to nearest airtel office in raebareli his response was also not positive rather he attitude was cassual.so please look the matter.

                  Um, yeah, we can't do anything to help you here. I'm not sure how things are in India, but you probably signed up for the service without realizing it. You can complain further with the company and certainly make sure no other charges occur.

                    I bought Airtel postpaid connection([protected] Fortune plan) in March 09 at my door.
                    Some guys come (samiksha was the main sales executive who made me fool along with her manager) i have been told to give cheque on Bharti Airtels name for rs. 500 /- which is refundable in 1st 3 months.There was no activation charge when i received 1 letter from airtel which is from Mr Rajiv Bose CSD head it states that Security deposit is of 250 rs. (but i have been told that for Fortune Plan its 500 as security deposit.and there is no activation fees for it.)i have been told that it is receipt of your cheque given to Airtel.that time i confirmed about my deposit on phone which was 500 rs.
                    I do have two other cards of Airtel but this was worst experience with Airtel and its fake sales Executives.They commited many wrong thing which includes
                    1) GPRS sirfing free
                    2) DND free
                    3) Caller ID free
                    4) Voicemail free
                    5) Itemised bill free
                    6)SATELLITE NETWORK
                    7)clip charges free
                    8)Roaming rental and roaming charges not there in maharashtra and goa...
                    But strange i have been charged for calling customer care (23-3 -09; 09- 03 -09;[protected]
                    Yahoo services(24 april; 6 may) which i dint used for 20 rs.I received sms of Thank you for using yahoo services and you are charged for 10 rs for 7 days...I called you for that your people said its not active you wont get charged but after 7 days i got another message(Same)..Will never plan to use Airtel postpaid.But what should i do now? These people are saying there is no such deposit, I want my money back.I do have printed paper they sent me which has security deposit mentioned as 250 rs. But actually its 500 rs.When i get call while disconnection those executives also said that i will get my refund in 45 days after permanent disconnection, now its disconnected on 13 th May 09.

                    Pl help me what should i do, whom should i contact.

                    Hello sir, I had applied for a postpaid connection of Airtel and was given a sim card with no.[protected] on 6th July 09.and the number was activated before the address verification. I had paid Rs 500/- towards Activation fees and deposit vide receipt no.7260 dated 06/07/09 of INDUSACT VENTURES, No.337/14, 10th Main, BSK Ist Stage, Bangalore 50 Ph 26602136. Subsequently, the number was deactivated after a week the reason being during the address verification, I told that I had come from the US on the 3rd July after finishing my M.S. and I was looking for a job in India. When I applied for the post paid connection, I was never told by the Airtel agent that I should hold a job in India to have a post paid connection. My connection was deactivated just because I told the truth. Now I have not received the refund from the company. I request you to please look into the matter and help me get my refund of Rs 500/- which includes Activation fees from Airtel.
                    I went to CC office at Ulhasnagar, the officers are also saying there is no such deposite, and it was activation fees.Now a days each service provider give free activation so i trusted the sales executive which came on door at Ambarnath from Lower Parel.The sales executives name was Samiksha [protected] and she gave me one executives no saying he is boss, his name is Nilesh [protected].I called him, he said she has left the job, then he gave me his Boss's number its [protected].he said he will do something and give me my money of deposit but now he is also avoiding my calls, What should i do now, You have made loss of 500 rs of mine.I want it in any case, get it from these peoples and return it to me, wjhen i brought the card there were no any condition to get my deposite refund then why you people are fooling us?I have sent the mail with my contact details on [protected]@airtel.in but i dint get any reply regarding this.If you dont want to return deposit then why did you took it, Dont you have any other way to fool peoples.

                    I want my refund in any case.

                      I am customer of bihar airtel.Iam complaining to you that GPRS not working from your "NAWKOTHI B.T.S" in BEGUSARAI (bihar) since two days.I am paying monthly charges for the above service RS.498. I have not used
                      the GPRS service due to machinery failure.Before this problem GPRS working but as slow as like go on foot.I have

                        We are retail shopkeeper named M/s M.S.Enterprises. The shop is located at an address: Maa-Girija Vihar Colony, Narsingh Talla, P.O. Lamachaur, Tehsil-Haldwani, Distt. Nainital, Uttaranchal State, India. Pin 263 139. We receives Airtel Prepaid Sim from the Distributer/Propritor M/s Raj Telecom of Haldwani. It regret to say that we sold a Airtel Prepaid Sim No.[protected] bearing Airtel Connection No.[protected] through Airtel Prepaid Admission letter bearing Sl.No. 1208391, to the customer named Shri Ramjeet Chaudhari S/o Shri Shankar Chaudhary, R/o House No. 76, Village Kamluaganja Mehta, Kamaluaganja, Haldwani, District-Nainital PIN-263139. The affixed a passport size coloured photo of his own. In addition, the customer submitted Photo Copy of his Voters ID bearing Sl. No. ULT 6065247 bearing address as aforesaid and other relevant details. The customer put his L.T.I. Impression on the said ID. Same as got verified by US and M/s Raj Telecom and Shivam Enerprises in the capacity of authorized Signatory (Mob. No. [protected]). The customer have alos submitted photocopy of his Ration Card. It also bears the aforesaid formalities. Aforesaid ID was rejected on the grounds (i) That the Photo of the customer in the Photocopy of Voters ID is blurred and invisible. (ii) In the ration card, the seal of the issuing autority is not stamped on the photo of the customer.
                        It is submitted that prior the rejection of the ID, Airtel authority may demand the original ID from the customer and verify the photocopy of the ID from the orignal one. The representative of M/s Raj Telecom returned the rejected ID to us and directed to return the rejected ID to the customer. He further directerd as to ask the customer to submit the ID of some other person so as to activate the SIM sold to him.
                        It beyound my thoughts as to how a geniun person should activate his SIM producing the ID of some other person.
                        It is requested to issue definite directives to selling agents so that the genuin customer may not suffer in future and to accept the ID which is now in hand of M/s M.S.Enterpreses.

                        Airtel Prepaid SIM — unnecessary subscription without asking

                        I am using a pre-paid airtel sim, ([protected]) but since last few months without prescribing un necessary subscription are activated and a huge amount is deducted every month. 3 to 4 times I unscribed them by contacting your customer services. But all in vien. Immediately some other thing is subscribed without my concent. Yesterday Again i-e on 15th May'09 when after trying atleast 8 times to stop these useless service I called your customer care to stop this, I was promised that it will be sopped and yes I got the message that all active services have been stopped. But surprisengly this morning i-e 16th May'09 again sms was received that some hollywood service was activated and the money was deducted from, my account. Again on calling customer care, some Mr, Tarun apologized and assured me that this will never happen again and gave me the complaint No. 117354. Immediately after this one more service Sale alert was renewed and the amount was deducted.This all has become unbearable now. Any how, I will throw this airtel sim in garbage but in future make it sure that no one in my nears & dears will go with this fraud Airtel company and if desired i will approach CONSUMER COURT.

                              Airtel Customer service is very bad. and they are not bothered about there customers.

                              I requested on 18th June for BB activation. after many follow ups, like begging Activated on 25th june.

                              After activation, they suppose to setup in my handset along with software, still they are not hellped.

                              Every day i'm calling 5 guys including top managers, they say today tomorrow. but they are not bothered about my problem.

                              pls. think. Who is using blackberry ? all top officials maximum.

                              For top level people they treat this way. what about the normal peoples condition.

                              fewmonths back i had net work problem, i faced similar situation. i fot for 6 months to rectification.

                              i'm using this number from last 10years. so i'm unable to change to other providers.

                              AIRTEL IS ONE OF THE WORST NETWORK AND SERVICE IS VERY vERY BAD. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BOTHER ABOUT YOU for months.
                              I am facing a similar issue. My Blackberry handset's trackball is not working since 25th July. Airtel Blackberry customer service mentions regarding a TAT of 72 hours to revert with an engineer. Today when I called, they said the SLA allows you to reply by 14th August 2009. Is Airtel serious about service?
                              How can someone have the audacity to say talk about SLA with 15 days TAT. Will you refund the rental you charge for Blackberry service for this period???

                              3. With the kind of business i give, If were a Vodafone customer in Mumbai, I would have a Relationship Manager handling this for me. I wouldnt have to use such modes.

                              have airtel connection, and I want to take blackberry services, I bought blackebery airtel handset, and want to activate the blackberry services, I came to know from 7070 that my phone is barred due to non payment of my bills, I checked with airtel they said you have no outstanding, I found myself between 121 and 7070 and airtel dwarka non-competent staffs, my outgoing incoming every thing is working fine but in airtel system it is showing barred, I asked them to remove barring as i am unable to activate my blackberry services, but airtel customer service department is loaded with full of junk staffs i tried all my efforts to contact nodal officerh VIA ophone, mail but I think he is super , he dont have time to reply and sort out my problems..

                              Simply I hate AIRTEL Staffs...They are real !!!

                                On line Purchased – Airtel DTH

                                I was purchased Airtel DTH 9 July 2009 and get installed on 11 July 2009.
                                After installation found problem with hardware and account was also not activated.
                                Installation person said that replace the hardware and activation do today.

                                While I was asked him, why this problem was happed then said that online purchased was problem.

                                Next day 12July 2009 called to customer care and told the problem then registered complain and said that tomorrow hr 17.00 will be resolve but I was wait till 21.00PM and again called to customer care n told full story. Customer care person told for tomorrow and discount the phone even not listen our problem.

                                If you call to customer care take each call takes 5-7 minutes to reach customer care person after that he was talk to you. It means have any problem then you ready to pay INR 100 to INR 200 in call and also not granted to solve your problem.

                                Today was 4th day and still not solved.
                                I was suggest don’t purchased by online and I hope direct purchased may be same.

                                On 26/08/09, I made an online payment through ICICI Net Banking of 2200/- for the purchase of Digital TV. but since then I have not received any confimation from your side which I expected badly. I also failed to talk to your customer care executive on 12150 as the call never gets through. Now I am in a doubt, whether it was a wrong step by me to pay online rather than cash at shop.

                                Really great response I got today. As I contacted Airtel DTH CC on Toll free number- [protected] and talked with Madam Renka, she promised me that by tonight their installation team will contact me. And I was surprised that within 02 hours they called me on mobile. And they asked me whether I want to install it today (29/08/09) itself. But as per appointment given previously while purchasing I requested to install on 31/08/09.
                                I will update my next experience after it is done. Hope everything will be fine.

                                Today is 02/09/09. No one came for installation. That Rajkot person now not attending my call.
                                Talked to Customer Care Supervisor ( Rahul ). Given all the details. He told me that within 48 hours problem will be shorted out. I dont know when this 48 hours will finish.
                                Should I move to Consumer Court now?
                                The conection has been sccessfully installed at my home yesterday(05/09/09) at 1500 hrs.
                                But the difficulty I faced was really painfull. You have got such a strong suport for your customers but the people involved for installation are so bad. Please do the needfull so that peple like me, who has got great faith on Airtel do not face such problem in future. Here I am giving you the details which may help you for the same.

                                  From 14 june 2009 airtel started a service without my subscription on my prepaid no.[protected].They send 2 or 3 msgs per day and deduct Rs3 each.I was in roaming but finally i stopped that service on 12july2009.The service is stopped but around Rs130 which are deducted from my account still not refunded.It is my humble request to airtel to pay attention on this case.

                                  Airtel Prepaid — Without my Knowledge

                                  Airtel Prepaid — Services added without my knowledge

                                  Hi,

                                  This is regarding the airtel services added with out my knowledge.
                                  My Airtel number is [protected] ,i have never requested for any airtel services still they added the services to my number and the money got deducted when ever i recharge the next time .Many times i called to customer care and told them to deactivate all the services and i am not interested for any airtel services in near future also.They replied saying i have requested for the services which i never did.

                                  I feel this way airtel is making some quick bucks by charging the services which we never shown any interest .Please help me to take necessary action on this.
                                  i already lost around 100-200 bucks for their stupid services.
                                  i am also a prepaid customer of airtel i am also going in same complaint the money got deducted without being suscribed this is very bad thing as i called customer care they told me that they will look after it but they dont
                                  after complaining they block my customer care call
                                  more than 3 to 4 fashion tips message every day with deduction of Rs 1 per day on no [protected]

                                  though it has not been subscribed.
                                  i had kept zero balance for a week during that time no such messages were seen.
                                  i request you to sum up the deductions and so far and repay me the same
                                  also i request you to stop such non subscribed deductions immediately.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This is in refernece to the Airtel Internet connection I had applied on 9th July 09 for my residence through the authorised Airtel Sales agent. I had applied for a modem & connection with INR 700 which have been installed. I had also paid INR 300 for the instrument provided for the landline connection. However, this has not been provided to me till now and the sales agent does not respond to my call neither does his supervisor.

                                    Moreover, I was promised that the connection would be activated within 48 hrs which took more than 72 hrs for the same.

                                    I took airtel broadband plan and there was one bill due because I left the place and I paid the bill and requested to disconnect and they said they will disconnect.but they send again second bill. I am now not putting up at that Place and already requested to disconnect one months back.

                                      This is to bring to your notice that I am an Airtel Mobile subscriber (Post Paid Account Number[protected] . I have this connection for the last over 7 years or so. I have been raising the issue of poor network coverage in Sukhdev Vihar area and it has not been resolved for a long time. The network has gone weaker over the time resulting in frequent call drops; connection errors when attempting to connect to others; incoming calls not getting through and my number coming 'unreachable'.

                                      I first made a formal complaint at 121 in December 2008. Early January 2009 I received a call from their representative that the problem has been fixed. However in real terms there was no improvement. It has only gone worse.

                                      Several attempts over last few months to report my problem have, it seems, not been enough to attract attention of the airtel officials. When I had expressed the desire to unsubscribe from Airtel the retention team (falsely) promised me waivers and free airtime which was never actually given. A promise of a Rs 200 discount in my bill was offered on one occasion and on another a discount of Rs 150. But later when I asked them how to avail, I was told that those were only offered by the executives and does not have the clearance from the company.

                                      Finally when I wrote to appellate body I received a call on 6 June and I was informed that my problem can not be rectified immediately however my inputs would be considered in future planning. The person admitted that the rectification of the problem involves investment on part of the company and hence not a priority at the moment.

                                      This problem is not Individual specific but area specific since many others on airtel network in this area and near by colonies face the same problem.

                                      I am not surprised as to why Airtel does not want to do anything about this problem since poor network only means more profits for the company. I for example end up making 10 calls in place of 1. OR when an incoming call drops, I have to call back few times to complete the conversation. Which of course means a higher bill and hence more profits for you.

                                      airtel, post paid mobile connection — poor network connectivity

                                      There is very poor network connectivity of airtel mobile networg in Ghoda Camp, shahibaug, ahmedabad, 380004 area. Non availability of network and wrong connection is very common.
                                      This is to bring to your notice that I am an Airtel Mobile subscriber (Post Paid) . I have this connection for the last over 7 months or so.                                       I wanted to bring in notice of the company that the service provided by the Airtel employees is really pathetic.Inspite of registering the complain 10 times still no action has been taken from their end. My mobile no is [protected].It has been 3 months i am falling up with the Airtel officials but now i feel that they are least bothered about the client's basic requirement.I had a talk with Ms. Neelam, Mr.Kanwar Malhotra, Mr.Rajat and the manager of Post Paid section. Lots of commitments were made by them but they didn't even had a courtesy to reply back about the progress of work and i am still struggling with my network problem. My card is a corporate post paid type. I will ask my company to forgo with Airtel sim and go for some othe sim. It was really a tedious experience with Airtel and will suggest everyone to avoid it.

                                      My post paid number is [protected]. By proffession i m a doctor and i have a clinic in Mahveer nagar, jaipur. My clinic is in Basement so there is some connectivity problem. Every time i got disconnected coz of this proble.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — Net work inavailability

                                      We are facing a lot of problems while making calls & getting calls due to in availability of Net facility which is happening in every where. We have made a lots of complaints through customer care & we will get an answer the problems will be sorted out in week time & the same is not happening from the past 2 years.

                                      We have checked by changing our mobile Instrument to avoid this problem. But now also facing the same problem. When we are using prepaid connection there is no problem in anywhere. But I do want to use the same Number which I had given to so many peoples as my reference.

                                      Finally a week back we got an info that we can change the SIM CARD & check out. No we have to approach any AIRTEL customer care centre. But there is no hope which can be sorted out.
