I'm honoured to say that I'm a customer of Airtel Digital TV for the last 4 months. (Customer ID is [protected]). Unfortunately for the past few days I don't get the connection and it says my Card is not authorised. But, i have taken the package South value plus malayaalam top up and I have recharged it with Rs 850 after the activation charge of 1750, which is for one year. I talked to your customer care exicutive on 18th July furnishing all the details and I was informed that it will be sorted out with in 48 hours and I would get uninterrupted service. But, the problem is still persisting and I want to get the problem solved as soon as possible.

I have faced a severe problem while recharging my account via credit card, many times I have tried it and after entering the amount >200/- It is redirecting me to customer care. I have faced the same problem via airtel website also for recharge.

Then I got a scrap cards then recharged. The requests which is raised by the customer care is NOT closed properly.

Even after recharging my account for Rs. 400/- I got shocked that I'm unable to see any channels, I called twice/thrice to customer care and they raised an complaint:850102 they told that your problem wil be resolved within two working days. After two working days the problem is still not resolved.

Again, called customer care twice and did all the troubleshooting steps what they asked me to do.

I GOT SHOCKED THAT MY EXISTING COMPLAINT (850102) HAS BEEN CANCELLED AS THE COMPLAINT IS NOT TRUE!! I'm still facing problem and I don't know what to do with and what to do further!!
I'm a customer of Airtel Digital TV for the last 16/07/09 (Customer ID is [protected]). Unfortunately for the days I don't get the connection and it says my Card is not authorised. But, . I talked to your customer care exicutive on 18th July comp no 851534 & 20 july comp no 856981 22 july comp no 864664 furnishing all the details and I was informed that it will be sorted out with in 48 hours and I would get uninterrupted service. But, the problem is still persisting and I want to get the problem solved as soon as possible.

I bring to your kind notice that I'am the owner of Airtel Digitel TV (ID [protected]) for the last 2.5 month. I'am sorry to point out it is not functioning properly the day it has been instaled. In this context I requested your authorised authourties on a number of ocasion. but my all efforts failed. Now I'am requesting your goodself to enter bene and readness my complaint at the earliest and put my TV in inorder. I'am sure you would do the needful at the earliest.

    i recieved an mms on my phone but unable to see. and suggested to visit http:/125.21.241.88/mms. & asked me to login ur number with password neusyo.

    But it is not at all opening asking for certificate but when checked, there is no certificate available.

    Can you fix up the problem with this brower or STOP SENDING SUCH SMS wasting precious time of customer...

    I am able to retrieve mms received from airtel but, not able to retrieve mms from a friend who has a vodafone id. I get a msg from vodafone saying that you have recvd a mms from this no & the http link is given with the msg code. it doesnt come to me as a picture msg (unlike airtel mms) which can be retrieved from my cell

      We had purchased SIM card from Airtel and a data no. had been enabled for data communication on this. Please find below the nos.-

      Data No. - [protected]
      Please note that we use this SIM card for data communication in GSM modem in our Delhi office.It properly works here. Now We want to use this SIM card in Shimla for same task. Please inform us urgently would it work there for data communication or any other facility is required to work in that region? Please also inform has roaming facility been enabled for data no. on this SIM card?

        i have 5 postpaid connection in airtel services.. i am complaintted to customer service to change my bill plan . one person said that your plan changed in 4 hours .after 12 hours i am again call to customer service . another person said that when you change bill plan before 15 days inform to air tell service . this matter is one but answer is two . what is right answer ? ??? . actual in my bill plan bill raise in 27 every month . i am call to customer service 25 july . customers service is wast . it is not service to customers . they create confussion .

        Airtel Postpaid Connection — Deactivation of Outgoing Calls

        Dear Sir,

        I am having Airtel Postpaid connection & using this from last 2 years.I have made payment of Rs.350 on 21.10.09 via online transaction, the same has not been updated by Airtel & they have deactivate the outgoing calls.

        I have also submitted the proof of payment i.e. bank statement,payment advice.

        Airtel has communicated via mail that the issue will resolve latest by 27th Nov, but nothing has been done till now.

        You are requested to look into the matter & do the needful.

          Dear Sir/Mam,

          I have prepaid connection of Airtel and my cell no. is [protected] in the month of January 09 there was a scheme of 100 National messages free by recharge of Rs 26/-.

          So I got recharged my mumber also in above scheme. When i started to send national sms, I found that Airtel had charged Rs. 1.50/- per sms.
          I also had sms scheme 360 local sms by rechage of Rs. 36/-. But airtel has charged the national sms charges from my 36/- lacoal sms scheme.
          In this regard i have talked at their customer care center, but they didn't respond at all.
          Kindlay look into the matter and take necessory action so that other customer also can get solution of this type of problem

            i have registered for ndnc on[protected] and regd no is A[protected]. i got a message that all promotional communications to mobile no [protected] will stop within 45 days. but to my surprise even after lapse of two months, promotional messages continue to come... i got doubt these type of registrations are only to fool the customers. if these messages do not stop forthwith i will complain concerned legal authorities how my no is given for sending messages to others without my knowledge.

              I have a prepaid connection with Airtel (bearing no. [protected]). I have been trying to register the complaint to de-activate my SIM Card IMMEDIATELY. I have lost my mobile today and to avoid misuse of my SIM card by anti-social elements, i have been trying the customer care numbers but without any success. The system is so ridiculous that you can't have everything computerised. It just keeps on giving long messages/instructions without actually connecting to the concerned person.

                Regarding cut off of sim card. On my phone bill came last month for rupees 725.00 which was to be paid on 24/11/09 I paid at Connaught Place (Airtel) Rupees 735/ 0f which I have a receipt dated 16/11/09. A few days later another sms of yours arrives saying my bill delivered on 14th November to be paid 24/11/09 which I had paid on 16/11/09. Now another sms arrives pay bill 865.53 has been sent which has not and pay by 24/11/09 For a mistake of yours incompetent people that you are you have cut my service and caused me so much of inconvenience as of yesterday and sim card failed (registration). What about my 2500 security deposit, that holds no value to you.but sixty eight rupees which is the difference (your incorrect calculation you hav e the audicity to cut my phone. I am disgusted with airtel and I have been associated with airtel for many years postpaid. This is the third time yourinefficient people have harrassed me and caused me so much of inconvenience, no fault of mine. If my phone line is not restored immediately, I have no recourse but to go to the consumer court on line I am very disgusted with your high handness and treatment of your customers.

                  Airtel Broadband customer care has behaved really weird this time, it started with a call from a super charged customer rep eager to offer me some exclusive BB plan, Explorer 1099, which offered 384 Kbps day time and Night 1 Mbps Unlimited browsing, i got even a mail from that customer rep, with plan details, the ordeal then began with different customer care people calling me from Mumbai and Bhopal

                  Mumbai customer care told me that the plan is not for Maharashtra & Goa circle, it was meant for Gujarat customers. so i irked a bit and left the thought of that plan, again i got a confirmatory mail informing me that my plan change request is in process, got few calls last week informing me that plan change was done and i could subscribe to free Rs 100 Speed on Demand service, PC secure antivirus, luckily i did not subscribe to any of it, again some called me from Bhopal customer care this friday and informs me that the plan could not get activated due to some technical error, and i happened to call up customer care the same time and the guy at customer care informs me that there is no record on my account about the plan change.

                  I blew my lid off and blasted the customer care rep calling from bhopal, i just felt being a victim of some bad marketing error joke, now im gonna complain to nodal officer and lets see what happens.

                  Airtel — Different broadband plan activated

                  Dated[protected], I had applied for an Airtel broadband connection (Application no. :- 234018). The plan promised was Browser 699 and a photo of the application sheet is uploaded to testify this. The plan promised unlimited download and 512 kbps speed upto download limit 5 GB, 256 kbps thereafter. However, the broadband plan Surf 699 was activated, without my consent or knowledge, which has a speed of 1 Mbps and charges me 20 paise/MB after 5 GB download limit is over. This was confirmed by Airtel after 4 days of internet usage, that too, after repeated asking. When I approached Airtel first time, they mailed me confirming the plan is Browser 699( mail number: |BAL|Qrc3757128|). But after asking second time, they mentioned a different plan, Surf 699. Please note, that I have mailed them saying, I am not paying any extra amount and I have already paid my first month's rental.

                      this complaint is regarding to the false airtel internet bill... m using airtel usb modem 4m past six months 4m now... it's a postpaid connection which is under plan of rs1000/month, unlimited free... but after initial month, bill is not stable... it increased to rs2800 in the month of march, rs1400 in may and now rs1600 in june...
                      i've so many times called and logde the complain regarding to this problem to the airtel customer care.. but there is no concerned i've received yet...
                      it is a request to the consumer court that plz help me out of this trauma as soon as psbl... there is only 1 hope left and so i m here...

                        I purchased a simcard from muzaffarpur on 25.06.09 which was activated after few hours after varification of documents required by them and submitted by me. but on 14.07.09 it was suddenly deactivated stating that documents are not proper. whether mobile can be activated without proper verification of documents and can be deactivated after a gap of 20 days. no information is provided aboubt the defficiency in the documents. the neww number was conveyed to all my relatived, friands, family and to the office. I am facing lot of mentol agony due to non availbilty of communication. moreover i had recharged the mobile with sufficient amount and was having balance of Rs. 375/-.
                        Sir I am a responsible citizen of India and senior executive in largest Bank of India. I am having PAN, Voter ID<, Driving licence with Chandigarh adrees which is my permanent address. I am on mobile duty in Inspection Deptt of the Bank and have to remain in Bihar for one year and not having any local address. But local address and identy proof of my co employee was submitted alongwith My PAN etc which was accepted by the dealer. If at all the company foresee any problem in activating my number they should refund the balance available.
                        Sir, kindly take up the matter with the company and get the complaint solved.
                        The action of the company amounts to defficiency in service.

                          Two months back the officials of MERCYDA from Varkala(Mr.Unni) and Kollam(Mr.Shafeek Tel No.[protected] and mobile no.[protected]) has taken our Airtel Coinbox for repairing, till now it is not yet repaired and they are not responding back. Whenever we try to enquire about the coinbox, they used to inform “on the coming week they will get it repaired” and other stories.

                          Most of the people in our village depend on this coin box and we used to purchase the Airtel prepaid card for huge amount (more than Rs.2000/month).We request you to get the coin box repaired as it is a good business for both o[censored]s.

                          We request you to kindly take this issue as a serious matter and please take necessary actions as we don’t expect the customer service of both Airtel and Mercyda to be poor.

                          Once again we request you to take necessary actions and hope that both Airtel and Mercyda believes in Customer Satisfaction……..

                              I bought a Samsug LCD on 06.07.2009 from Bharat Eletronics, Coimbatore. They gave me the offer of Airtel Digital TV, with 3 months subscription free.I am resding at No. 88/1, Carolina Road, Chandra Colony, Coonoor 643 102. Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu. Despite request to the dealer of Samsung and to the Customer Care (tol free No. [protected], I am simply shuttled here and there and the DTH is yet to be installed. One of your represnetative from Ooty hasguided me well and gave me a mobile number of another representative at Coonoor. I tried to contact him, since yeserday, but in vain. His mobile is swithched off. The Samsung show room manager asked me to contact the said representatives.

                              Now, I want that this DTH is to be installed immediately. Plese arrange for it. And don't make me to feel for opting Airtel Digitel TV.

                                The problem is that you charged me every month 99 Rs. for the service of downloading JavaGame from Airtel Live WAP and 30 Rs. for the service of Hello Tunes, which is I never requested these services to be on my cellular phone.

                                Please consider my request to unsubscribe these services from my account immediatelyy and credit my money back because I’m not interested of these services and never used them.

And after two days of installation on[protected] I received a massage from TA-DTH that Dear customer your account balance is in negative. Please recharge. I was not able to understand the same. I checked this on the net & found that my account balance is Rs -500/- I do not know that what was it? I call Customer care executive on[protected] to know the same & executive told me that wrong package has been selected from our side & this package which you purchased is withdrawn by Airtel. I requested to the executive to change it immediately. He has raise a request for the same (Request no:- 836583) & give me the assurance that this problem will get resolved with in two days. & I got a massage from TA-DTH that this problem is resolved on[protected] but in actual this problem was not resolve. Again I call to customer care executive on[protected] although the redress of complaint time of Airtel is 48 hrs but they said this problem will get resolved on 16-07-09. I received I call from airtel that your services will not continue from tomorrow due to your account is in negative balance on the same day. On[protected] again I received a massage from TA-DTH that your services are due for suspension tonight. Please recharge. Again I call customer care executive & tell her full concern she given me a new request no 848009 & told me that please recharge Rs 100/- immediately. And when in evening I talk again they said that you will get resolvation of problem till[protected] & your services will not stop. but today my serveces has been disconnected.

                                  AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Wrong billing, poor service leading to Suspension!

                                  Details of transactions:
                                  1. Customer ID: [protected]
                                  2. Installed on 25.06.09 with South valve pack Rs 1750/-
                                  3. On 26.06.09 through prepaid vouchers deposited another Rs 850
                                  4. Kept receiving on my registered mobile & STB that I have negative balance & I should recharge immediately! (Although STB showed NO DATA in my account)
                                  5. Help line [protected] when contacted after good many attempts reaffirmed that there is sufficient balance and I should ignore the messages.
                                  6. When I enquired about adding some packages, he offered me New South Mega package with 6 months free subscription @ Rs 2600 approx. He also said they would deduct some Rs 20-30 for 2 days of earlier package usage. I asked him to change the package accordingly.
                                  7. Since I continued getting negative balance messages, I recharged another Rs 1000 on 30.6.09. Here is the official extract from Airtel website.

                                  After complaining at this forum and after much struggle my Airtel DTH was finally reinstalled today at my premise [C-125, Third Floor, Pandav Nagar, New Delhi - 110092] but this time they have suspended my viewership indefinitely. I cannot access any channels except their helpline channel number 100. Recently I called up their customer care for fourth time but there was no satisfactory response from their side. The executive said that there was some technical issue but how come I could access their helpline channel no 100 and no other channels if there was really a technical issue. They have given me complaint number 4852916 for the issue but says that the issue would be resolved on 22nd December by 3.30pm.

                                  I have become a frustrated subscriber of the Airtel DTH. I would never suggest anyone to go for their service.

                                    I activated Airtel's unlimited internet plan by payin 800/ month rental on 15th of july. I was earlierly using 99/ month plan in which i was getting monthly 50 mb free for surfing and downloading. After being setisfied with their speed i called customer care to shift me on monthly unlimited plan for which they gave me *567# no on which i cann call & activated the service. I activated the service the same way & after 2 days i.e. on 17th july, i found that my un billed amount shoot up by whooping 2000rs. Seeing that i called up customer care personnel than they are informing me that u cannot activate unlimited plan before deactivating 99rs/month plan and so my unlimited plan has not been activated & i have been charged for all the downloads on the based of some 20paise/50 kb. Please help as i have confirmation from their side that they activated my service.They are not willing to deduct the extra charge levyed on me.

Any correspondence or communication could have been acceptable during working hours. The calls in the wee hours are only means of harassment by your collection department for defaulters.
                                        2. In-spite of informing that the user is hospitalized in Breach Candy Hospital Mumbai for treatment on serious illness and would not like to be disturbed, your call centre executive cannot be ignorant to call more than 20 times after that on the same day and cause agony to a person already going hardship due to health.
                                        3. The disturbance did not stop with just one day and continued till escalation of the issue on return, in-spite of informing that payment is made in cash on the 16th of June at the BEL outlet. What more information can one expect and give over phone ???
                                        4. The rules and regulations of the hospital do not permit use of cell phones unless required for emergency reasons.
                                        5. Hospitalisation in Breach Candy is not easy in normal circumstances and needs influence and substantial reason of critical illness. Appointments with Dr. Farokh Udwadia, the consulting doctor is not available before 2 months even in critical circumstances.
                                        6. It is unreasonable at your end as a corporate to commit crime and then make apology for the same. This would probably be acceptable in case of normal conditions, but in-spite of informing critical situation, the seriousness was not understood. And therefore we see no reason to forego the cause without proper compensation for the agony caused.

                                        In view of the above, we would like to claim damages and request you to kindly request the concerned to get in touch to discuss on the same.
