Hi,
I have an Airtel Prepaid connection [protected], and validity was expiring on July 19th. However i recharged the lifetime offer ( which the shop dealer told me) for 199Rs and I even got a confirmation message saying it is successfully recharged.
But, Later when i checked i didnt get validity or the balance. I called Airtel customer care countless times. But, they said that, 199 plan was valid only till June and now for 199 there is an offer where the local call charges will be reduced to 60ps.
But, since i didnt have validity, that offer was useless for me now. I was told to recharge once again for 99 rs to get validity. However, if i do that now, i will be getting the call charged according to the 99 plan and not for the 199 rs i have already paid. I was extremely unhappy about this bad way of marketing by Airtel.
I will be disconnecting all airtel connections at my home once I find a suitable time.
