I am a user of airtel ( kochi, prepaid) and presently on roming since seven weeks, and unable to contact airtel numbers at kochi which beigins with 9746... rest all numbers of various service providers are accessable. I have launching complaints every day by phone/email but still got no result. (two more airtel users from kerala are facing same problem.

    I am allotted 128 kbps speed on my broadmand connection but speed of downloading is very slow. It takes two to three minuts to download a picture. I got a chance to work on BSNL internet connection. It was showing only 100 kbps speed. But downloading was much faster than my Airtel speed.
    Please arrange to supply full speed.

    I've taken 699 plan 8 months back.At starting, the speed was above 256 but it got slowed down after 2 months to less than 230 and slower. Now, i am only getting a speed of 100kbps and downloading at about 9 to 11 kbps.I talked to engineers of airtel and they have visited my house but the problem is not solved.They left it saying that you are getting the right speed fro the office, , please help me getting my speed, that was same as 499 plan.Should i get rid of my connection.Airtel engineers are not serious in helping, they are always in a hurry to disconnect the call.

    I have 256 KiloBits Per Second unlimited broadband connection which means downloading rate of any file should me 1/8th i.e. 32 KiloBytes Per Second. Since last few days I am getting download speed varying b/w 10-17 Kilobytes per second. This is worst service airtel is offering. Similar thing happened last year when I had 128 kbps plan and getting not even 10 KBps spped of downlaod.
    I totally agree that Airtel service has gone down. It continues to show only one sped "2.5 M bps". The speed is miserably slow, almost dead. Their computer has been programmed to show only one speed, irrespective of performance.

    Airtel — plan is 64 kbps and we are getting 10kbps

    Hey my airtel net connection is 256kbps but i am only getting 0.5 to 10 kbps . i should get atleast 32kbps downloading speed from last few days .
    I have taken Airtel Broadband connection (256Kbps) in the first week of August 09. I did so with an expectation of better services regarding connectivity but unfortunately I experienced extremely low downloading speed than what it should be.

    I am saying so because at 256Kbps connection downloading speed should be around 32 KB/s but it is coming as low as 4 KB/s to 15 ~ 20 KB/s. In case of multiple downloads the speed is dead slow.

    Surprisingly, earlier I was having MTNL connection (256Kbps) where I used to get a download speed of around 50 ~ 60 KB/s. Sometimes it used to go up to 110 KB/s. But due to faulty wiring I disconnected it.

    Numerous calls were made to Airtel regarding this, engineer comes and checks but no solution. They always say everything is OK.

    I want to ask Airtel that if downloading speed is so slow than what’s the use of having Broadband connection. Dial up connections were good enough to have such kind of speed.

        i got the message from airtel, that RC222 and get A2A STD worth 333.
        i opted for that on 23rd july, after recharge i made STD call to Airtel no.for the first two days amount deducted from A2A voice balance whenever i makes STD call to Airtel no. My current balance to A2A voice STD is 216.12 rupees.from 26th onwards if i make STD call to AIRTEL no, amount is getting deducting from basic balance instead of A2A STD voice balance.
        One occassion, having balance in A2A std voice balance of 212.60 rupeed, l am unable to make a call and the answer is insufficient balance. regarding this i made so many complaints to Airtel through SMS to 121, but not rectified. Still my problem is not solved

        This is very bad and i missed so many important calls.
        Iam planning to go to consumer forum regarding this irresponsible behaviour of Airtel.

        Airtel Prepaid — Poor services

        Dear Mr. sunil Mittal,

        I am neha saxena this side, i am using your airtel connection from more than four years.Trust me when i have started using this airtel prepaid i was a very happy customer..but i am so sorry to say that now your company's services are going worst..your competitors are rising up and Bharti is going down.

        I am taking thsi pain to writing thsi letter to you becos no body at airtel is able to solve my problem,n i find you to be the most skilled person in Bharti.

        Now my main peoblem which i am facing from last four month with your airtel is missed call alert services.Every month Rs.15 is deducting from my account..but still giving you my full support, i am not getting a single services of this missed call alert.than my question is for what i am paying ..I have registerd my compalaint 15 or more times..but you team is not able to solve my problem.Its more than 03 months, i am compalining about my missed call alert services, but nthing is happening.Every time i heard only one thing..sorry for the inconvienace you problem will be solved within 48 Hrs..i dont know when this 48 hrs. will b completed..is it take 3 months to complete 48 Hrs...One of Floor senior had told me this time i will forward your complain to the technicial head, bt i am still sorry even he is not able to solve the problem,what kind of people you hired, i am really suprised..

        My only concern is somehow a bad image of airtel prepaid is creating in my mind...this is not the matter of One customer which you will lost very soon..Bt as you know..One unsatisfied customer may spoil your other or prospective customers.

        Please give special comsideration to this....

        i regret to say that my connection [protected] has been disconnected and the surprising factor is that this is being done for the second time without any prior information or reason. as for 121 is concerned it much of making a fool of the subscriber rather than rendering proper service. could you pls let me know how would a customer lodge complaint if the service no: does not respond, on to that your local spots are unable to answer the quiries, it seems that airtel is now more concerned in selling and not providing after sale service. this mail is being when your services have really taken me for a ride. do take the matter seriously

        i got message from airtel (6787)at 10:15 am on 19/aug/08 that thanks for downloading laal dupatta as ur hello tune and deducted my balance.but my this tune is already existing since 2nd week of july and i haven't downloaded it again i don't know why airtel has done this to me. such things happens with me earlier in past.airtel changed my hellotune in the past, subscribes mobile radio for me, for these two things i haven't requested to them but than also tey gave me these two services unnessecarily and deducted my balance. this shows greedy behavior of airtel and their poor response. well i m not navneet who will plan, rather i go straight to consumer forum and complaint about ur careless and greedy behaviour. and let me mind u my real uncle is head manager of dainik bhaskar media and firstly i will expose u through daily newspaper.so please its an humble request from me that solve my problem as quickly as possible.

        I got an airtel prepaid connection this month. Its number is [protected] and sim number is[protected]-1133. The moment I purchased the sim, they started my connection and I was enjoying the facility. But 4 days before they stopped my incoming call and after very next day they stopped my outgoing facility too. I was asked to submit my documents again, as I was told that due to negative verification they have stopped my services. I submitted my documents again at their Sahara Mall Office in Gurgaon on 20th August 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with ticket number [protected]. But, still my calling is barred.
        i stay in banglore and while i was coming 2 m home town inorder 2 reduce the std rates i got a recharge done on my ASA STD VOICE BAL RS 222 and i got the talktime 4r RS 333 but since then whenever i made an std call the voice bal reduced only once with RS 332 and after that my std balance was reducing 4rm my current balance which was RS 165. I have been unable 2 make or recieve any calls or send messages .AND when i got a recharge done again the amount of recharge increased the voice bal to RS665. i have been making complains regularly and have not got any reply . this is a horrible situation as i have not attended 2 a lot of imp phone calls. i think i should take this complain to the consumer forum if no action is taken.this was not expected from airtel.

        I Myself Mr. Amol Dharma Kshirsagar, Airtel`s prepaid customer I have been availing Airtels valued service since Aug 2008 on mobile no +91-[protected] which comes under scheme named “Mobile compus pack”, I am from pune (Maharashtra)

        Actually, I never wished to write a complaint letter to well reputed & established entity who really gives a wonderful service with great effort in every respect along with all possible facilities.

        But, this is how may complaint incident started, from last few days I was suspicious about call charges so i thought to check out whether I have been charged correctly or not ? on12th Dec 2008 as per my mobile clock timing I called on an Airtel mobile no +91-[protected] at exact 3.54 pm means At beginning of 55th minutes and completed conversation at exact 3.57 pm means at starting of 58th minutes therefore sum comes like this (58-55=3) total three minutes were utilized by me but got charged by Rs 4/- for which i must have been charged only Rs 3/- in respect of scheme selected .it was really very embarrassing situation when someone make fool where you trust most for money and service.

        Therefore, I immediately called Airtel customer care service no.121, where I spoke to a male CCE on my first call who treated me very rudely, arrogantly on the queries related charges, after deep explanation on issue I convinced him and then he replied that it usually happens by mistook and we would soon credit my Airtel account by Rs 1/- now you tell me, how it can be a satisfactory response, still he kept arguing on issue without being positive to fact & cut the line using vague language.

        Afterwards I had to call again, to know real matter, this time a female CCE was on line, I gave her my mobile number and explained what happened, on reply she said that you called earlier and Rs 1/- had been refunded to your account and rest Rs 2.50/- would be credited soon for last extra cut charges and this is what update I could see in your Account on screen at the moment then I thanked her for action taken and heartily requested to convey this call charges query to senior authority so that they could take necessary steps and she agreed and we closed conversation by greeting each other, this time all went fine.

        But nothing stopped at this point, again I started to receive SMS on my mobile on same day(12th Dec2008) around 6.08 pm to till 8.14 pm by Airtel, in that particular time altogether I received 5 (five) SMS which shows that I have activated following services


        SMS 1(Airtel) –missed call alert plus is now active on your mobile received alerts when ur mobile is switched off, not reachable, to deactivate sms MCANO 501

        SMS 2- ([protected])- congratulation on subscribing to the on demand service you have been charged Rs 30/- for 30mins of your favorite music for 30 days, to unsubscribe call 54321300

        SMS[protected] –congratulation your MCA plus service has been successfully charged Rs 15/-on 12-12 Enjoy the Airtel service, to deactivate sms MCANO to 501.

        SMS[protected]congratulation for starting Hello tunes (HT), subscription charges are Rs 30/- month stop HT by calling[protected], toll free,

        SMS[protected]thank you for downloading “bhains ki pappi” as your hello tune, dail 543211 for the latest hello tunes (call charges Rs 3/-mins)

        Now I don’t understand what kind of reply Airtel expect from me to say for service which I didn’t ask to active or asked any one to get activated and for which Airtel has already charged me Rs 75/- now there is negative balance Rs (-) 15.17 INR, I don’t want to be a victim for all charges .

        I am terrifically suffering for all unwanted service provided by Airtel and charging me a lot, I request “Airtel Higher Authority” to look into matter and solve my extra calling charges, and balance related queries at earliest

        I have been calling Airtel for the last 15 days for one small query, i.e. my mobile no.[protected] is not been able to send a sms to 5667711(special short code number). Everyday, i am calling customer care & getting a same reply i.e. your query will be solved within 24 hrs. I have spoken to 3 different incharge of your customer care department. The reply is that the issue would be sorted out within 9 working hrs. I have been made to wait for 30 odd mins several times keeping me on hold. I just can not understand this.         Airtel Prepaid — Bad Customer Service

        The AIRTEL prepaid customer service is the worst customer service i have come across. They do not reply proerly to our queries and their solutions are not satisfactory. Moreover they disconnect the call half way when we are complaining. We request you to take stern action against them.

        I had taken a new airtel connection on 3rd of april mob no; [protected] and submitted my documents on same day .after3 days of taking this card address varification was done by your personnals . My services were started on 11th of April and again deactivated on 28th of april saying that my documents are rejected for some reasons. I called costomer care for returning of my self assested documents with photo. which is denied by your people. Before taking any actoin from my side i wanted to bring to your notice some points which if i can get some favourable answers .from you.
        (1) If your costomer care not received my documents why the varification was done on my alternate no which was mentioned on Enrolement form.
        (2) If my documents were rejected why the services were started on 11th of april. when the varification was done on 7th of april.
        (3) without any documents why and how you can provide services for more than 15 days on a blank card.

        i would like to know from your side within a time period of 7 days.
        kindly look in to the matter.

        I am Sathish Kumar. C, I am loyal Customer of Airtel Prepaid Connection, We have been using Your Airtel Service from Last 5 to 6 Years, and I am very upset with Service Provided by Airtel Prepaid Customer Service. I would like to explain the Complete Issue, Which is being happening from Last Saturday (18th July 2009).

        I received a message from on 18th July 2009, Regarding Rs.149/- Tariff Plan, The SMS says, that I will get 100 Talk time & 50 Ps to A-A, 60 Ps to Airtel to other mobiles. 1 year Validity Period, & 2Ps for 100 SMS, so I recharged at 12:15 pm, as per SMS, after the recharge, the TT is only Rs 50.

        I have 3 Issues with your Service, There are:

        1. Rs.50 after 48 Hrs.

        2. First Minute of the day will be charged Re.1/-

        3. First Minute of the day of Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/- & also First Minute of the day Non - Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/-




        These are Number of calls, which I made to you Customer care Help Desk.

        CALL NO: 1 Date: 18th July ‘08
        Executive Name: Vijendran(Floor Supervisor) Time: 12:30 Pm (Approx)

        Firstly, I spoke to one of you Customer Care Executive, and Explained to him about the SMS and the Recharged, that I did, so informed that, Immediately Rs.50 will credited, after 48 Hrs, another Rs.50 will credited, I was not happy about this, so he passed the phone to his Floor Supervisor by name Vijendra, Even he convey the same messages to me, so I taught of waiting for the Next 48 Hrs.

        Point to be Noted: Throughout the Complete conversation, either your Executive or Vijendran, has not communicated to me that Either First Minute of the day will be charged Re.1/- or First Minute of the day of Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/- & also First Minute of the day Non - Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/-.

        Point to be Noted: Dhanaraj Promised me that, we will listen to Conversation between me & Vijendran, i.e CALL, If Vijendran or his Executive has not mentioned that, Either First Minute of the day will be charged Re.1/- or First Minute of the day of Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/- & also First Minute of the day Non - Airtel Call will be charged Re.1/-. Then he told me that, he will call me back within 48 Hrs & Refund all my Money.

        He was very rude.
        He was not listening to me at all.
        He was placing me on Mute, I had ask, Are you there? Are you there? This happened all the time during the call.
        He was shouting on call.

        Airtel prepaid mobile — not working miss call alert service

        I am giving complaint to airtel customer care by last 7 days but my miss call alert service is not working but they are not giving proper answer.My latest request number is [protected].

        i start a gprs wth rs 89 recharge and whn i start use gprs they deduct 25 rs then i complian from 14th jan2010 they give 24 hours times but no reply or no refund i get again i try to complian and 3 to 4 times they reply same and when they not able answer they give reason that talk to our seniour and after some time they disconnected line all 3 times is the way they make money like me how many people even not look at there 25 rs and company make a huge amout by all that which they unnecesserily charge to customers and then even not care to give proper feedback

        I have a prepaid connection for Airtel ([protected]) but this has been a repeating instance with them that they will start some services like daily jokes or updates with a Charge but without any consent from the user. This time I have started getting some stupid messages for Filmybuzz updates that are completely intolerable.

        Airtel is deducting customers prepaid balance amount without any information to customers. My Prepaid Airtel Mobile Number is[protected]. I have not activated of Airtel Radio facility to my mobile, but without informing to me Airtel Net work people were deducted Rs. 30/- Per month for 2 months 9 Rs. 60/- ) for the Airtel Radio Service. Like this many of my friends were lost money and Airtel doing fraudulant activities in mobalizing publics money by these ways.

        If i call to customer care ( 121 ) no proper feedback received for contacting customer care persons. Repeatedly asking for to press 1 for Tamil, press 2 for English & press 3 for hindi. After pressing 1 or 2 the call was not diverted to customer care service persons. Very very worst in Customer service also.

        Airtel Prepaid — hell service and rude behavior and regarding my number

        i called up customer service on 28th jan and talked to some girl representative regarding my no. which they issued to somebody else.i was calling from overseas through my brother on conference.first time she disconnected the call and i called again bu this time it was a guy and i told him my prob but he said that i should have recharged it after every 3 months to keep the n. continued. but i told him that i am overseas from last year and before cumin overseas i got my no. recharged and at that time i was said that i will be able to make outgoing calls but when i came here i found that i cant make calls..but i found on 28th jan that my no. is issued to somebody else and the guy on the other side told me that sir its Ur problem not mines and he told me that u should use postpaid n why r u using prepaid and disconnected the call as well and i called again and dis time there was a girl named Preeti and i told her everything again and she was not able to resolve the matter as well and i told her to make me talk to her manager but his manager named Ujwal was not in the office at that time during duty hours. i was calling from overseas and i told her that i want the resolution and i told her that i m with airtel from last 7 years but the thing which i only get is disappointment an harrasement from their side.i think i made the mistake of continuing with airtel..
        I AGREE TO YOUR PROBLEM.
        I HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH THE AIRTEL.

        Airtel GSM — Recharge Amount Not credited & poor response and service

        I am Manjunath and am using Airtel Prepaid connection.(Mob No:[protected]). On Feb 8th 2010 i got a message from Airtel stating that a on recharging for 100 rupees 200 rupees talk time will be credited within 48hrs from recharge time. I recharged for the same amount on the same day and the bonus talk time was not credited in 48 hrs,so i called customer care and logged a complaint on the same which they promised to resolve in 48hrs.complaint No:[protected]. but its going to be one month now and that amount is not credited. I tried calling Customer care number of times but i dint get a proper response and also they cut my call in the middle of the conversation. From the date of complaint call cost summary was not working and i was not able to check my balance manually using *123# also.After repeated trails in contacting customer care now am not even able to contact customer care since they have blocked my number. There is also a complaint from my collegues and customers that they are not able to contact my number because the lines are busy whereas i dont use the phone during those timings due to which i am losing vital business. This has caused me immense mental torture and business loss,so i hereby request you to take a severe action on Airtel for the same.

        So, I pressed 1.....
        Again and again they repeated the same track...... Why do they Cheat their Customers like that ???

        I am using airtel for last 2 and half month,2 days before,by unknown reason they cut off my 50 Rs. balance, i really ask to give me back that 50 Rs in my same account.....

        I am Amit Kumar Sharma having Airtel GSM connection [protected]. I had made a recharge of INR 98 on 23rd Nov for getting 2 GB Free download and web access services. But i had nt enjoyed this services till date.
        and when i had inform this to their customer care on 26 Nov 2010, then their executive had given me false comitment and wasted my time and money. finally i had talked to their floor managers but they are not also able to provide the proper solution to me. he had also wasted my time and money to. then i had called their maidin officer too but their phone no is busy every time. in this process i had call him atleast 7 times and every time my they had holded my call due to which i had paid 30 paisa/ min. basis. then i had visited their web site but their is no complaint column on their website.

        at last i had reached to you with the hope that " you will take some action againest them

        Yes very poor service, no response given now a day, As my experience i was recharge 98 INR for free unlimited internet of data usage limit 2GB. and then i was recharge 60 INR for call, then when i using internet it my balance is debited to 4 INR, until i using MOBILE OFFICE for internet access, this type of thinks happens with all all customers

        I am a prepaid customer, No.[protected]. It is surprising that company like Airtel is charging customers
        wrongly for the the service not demanded. Recently many times I have been charged for Astrology on demand, where as I have not demanded. It started deducting whenever I opened SMS. Earlier you used to charge wrongly Rs.10 every time for 10 days.. But today at a stretch You charged Rs.30. Message receive is "Astrology on demand service has been renewed and you have been charged Rs.30 for 30 days' In this regard complaints were lodged to your customer care but of no use. Today(02.02.2011) after 11 pm again talked to you customer care through No.198 and complaint was lodged. Mr.Arun Sharma attended. But no service request number was given. He said it is due to a technical trouble.When asked for action to refund all unauthorised charged he said he could not refund right then
        but to ring after 4 hrs which is in the odd hrs. in the day timne customer care do not lift call.

        I would request to refund all illegal charges or else reserve all right to approach consumer forum for all losses thereof. It is worth asking , how come technical problem arises only for wrong charging and not for any other service ? Kindly look into and do needful at the earliest.

        Airtel — not disconnect std services

        we give one letter dated 20/11/2010 for disconection of std facitity,but they donot.after it again we write letter today dated 08/03/2011 but didnot take.their comunication also bad,their response also negative.please note our complaint.

        This is Shailesh Kasture and my Mob no. is [protected].I am customer of Airtel for last 6 years.Just now my service get expire so I renew my service with consult to customer care executive of airtel.But the according to plan airtel is not providing me service.That's why I again did complaint to customer care center of Airtel.But they not properly give respond for that and also their behavior and the way of talking is not proper.And whenever I told them to give to your supervisor that time they just disconnect my call.I give complaint for 6 times but still they not providing me proper solution on that.It just mentally harassment for me.

        Airtel — Not getting Balance since 15 days

            i downloaded the free software available with airtel called SMS2. It wasn't user-friendly and was causing lot of disturbances and troubles. So i decided to uninstall it from my phone. I uninstalled it though application manager. After i uninstalled it also deleted my text message reader/editor. I could no longer open or read any of my sms.

            I had to format the phone to get my text message reader/editor fixed. I advice everyone not to try out this stupid software and corrupt your phonesoftware

                  my mobile no is [protected], on 3rd of august, i have received message that airtel live has been activated on your mobile free of cost. again in few minutes i have received message from 64611030 on 3rd august 11.50 am stating that thanks for using subs service on airtel wap . you have been charged rs. 30. similarly amount has been debited rs. 10 earlier and rs. 15/- on my another mobile no.[protected]. immediately within few mintues i have lodged three complaints for all these three debits.vide comp no.[protected], [protected] & [protected] . they have promised to solve the problem before 7th aug 11 am. i have followed regularly but the compliant was not solved at all and till time i am guessing like this how much amount would have debite to my and others account. everytime i call up some new call centre executive comes and i have repeate the whole story and they assure to revert back with solution. but they failed on each ocassion to solve the issue within given time and none of the above amount is credited back to my accounts

                    Airtel Postpaid — Fraud & cheating!

                    i have disconnected my connection due to relocation.
                    i have given application since september so many time.
                    and cleared my all bill also at that time.
                    but now since two months you are sending me bill
                    and saying that its not closed yet....
                    when i tried to contact nearer aritel customer care your executive said they have forwarded query.
                    when i got the mail from airtel then i replied that you can contact me if you want to clarify...

                    Airtel POST PAID fraud — Cheating Customers

                    Hi everyone,

                    I'm Sri from Hyderabad. I've been an Airtel Mobile customer from last 5 years. I do have Airtel Landline, Broadband and DTH services from last 2 years or so. I want to highlight one of AIRTEL's FRAUD behavior which they started recently.

                    I've been paying the yearly rental for my brother's post-paid number[protected] from last 2 years as he left to USA. The number got disabled in July 2009 and when I asked for the activation, Airtel people asked me to submit my brother's documents (which I cannot). They also mentioned that the SAME number will be released in October 2009 and then I CAN TAKE IT AS A NEW CONNECTION. At last in December 2009 the[protected] was released and I applied for new connection on my name with all the required documents. I paid around 1700 rupees for it:

                    BALANCE CLEARANCE: 300
                    SECURITY DEPOSIT: 500
                    YEARLY RENTAL PLAN: 899

                    My[protected] number got activated on December 27th 2009 and used it for 2 to 3 days. around the same time I got a call (ONLY ONCE) from Airtel asking for my available time at home for address verification. I gave the timing as 'after 5pm on weekdays' or 'anytime on weekends'. There the story ends and on Jan 29th 2010 (after the PAY-BY-DATE) I received the one month bill. I went to pay the bill (ALONG WITH THE LATE FEE) and was left to shock after knowing that my NEW NUMBER IS PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED for VERIFICATION FAILURE.. God - Save me!

                    They argued with me saying that they called me 3 to 4 times and as i was not willing to verify the address, they have canceled the connection. They cited my "AVAILABILITY TIME" as the reason of CLOSURE. Even after so much of humiliation, I've controlled myself and just for the sake of RETAINING my BROTHER's FANCY NUMBER - I've agreed to re-submit my documents.

                    When I went to re-submit the same documents again 2 days later (March 2nd 2010), I was speechless with their argument. THEY ARE ASKING ME TO PAY THE DEPOSIT+RENTAL (1400) again.. Tried to fight with them over their suspicious behavior and have given up after some time.

                    I'm anyways planning to MOVE THIS ISSUE TO CONSUMER COURT NEXT WEEK... will keep updated.

                    Questions:

                    1. Do we need to stay back at home all the time for verifying the address?
                    2. Airtel has the same address on my LANDLINE - DTH - PREPAID - BROADBAND connections with same name and mobile number. How can they not check the current records for verification??
                    3. Why do i need to pay the DEPOSIT + RENT again when i'm taking on the same name/documents?
                    This is just ridiculous. I've been a victim of same issue. I will join you for consumer court petition. Please send me your current mobile number. WE SHOULD NOT LEAVE THESE JERKS who want more money without any service. Just for using 2 to 3 days - how can we pay the whole amount again??

                    It's their fault to not verify the customer's address on their available timings.. how can they miss-use OUR MONEY... ?? Come, we will fight

                      New connection verification problems

                          I am a user of Airtel services for past 7 years. Their Value added services is a unscrupulous way of stealing money in broad day light. Off lately there are stealing money from millions o[censored]sers across the country.

                          If you make a call from your prepaid cell after the call is disconnected you get a message how much money is left, along with this message you get few options where there are certain numbers if you click the same, it will activate caller tunes or download ringtones. These numbers are highlighted when you are going thru the message and accidentally with out knowlegde if you press the same it gets activated and you never even now that. your money is Gobbled up by Airtel.

                          The same is happening with quarter of indias cell phone users, they make money in millions. We may not notice if its one rupee gets deducted but that one rupee from a million users is a lot of money.

                          The same was happening from a long time and even though the complaints registered are of no use, today they again deducted Rs.50 from my account for setting up a caller tune. when you call the customer care they hang up on you. They say you have activated it which i never did, they say if you press * button it gets activated.Is this the way the biggest cell phone company in india is supposed to behave.

                          I hope the management team comprising of Sunil Bharti Mittal, Manoj Kohli, Akhil Gupta, Atul Bindal, David Nishball, Dr. Jai Menon, Krishnamurthy Shankar, Narender Gupta, Norman Donald Price IV, S. Asokan, Sanjay Kapoor, Sarvjit S. Dhillon, Shamini Ramalingam, Tina Uneken takes notice of the same and take appropriate action. I would also request TRAI to look into this corrupt way of making money by this company and cancel their license.

                            Due to my regular complaints regarding my phone & broadband connection bill they were not responding correctly and the executives are really intelligent that they just say madam ur problem will be solved but i will not solved with my regular complaints also. They dont even transfer the phone to higher authority to speak up. There was a nuisance of the messages to pay the bill with daily 7 to 8 messages. They show their service inprompt paying the bill but not at customer service. Actually main problem is from the data entry they had wrongly entered my residential address and for that regular complaints also there is no response from airtel and iam really fed up with that.
                            This is harassing a lot, i don't know how the company run

                            Airtel Broadband Connection — Worst service & poor response SHIT

                            I applied for AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION & representative said ill get the connection in 3 days. Its been more than 10 days I havn't got the connection and I did not get the money which I paid 1000rs. The problem with this STUPID company they are not responding to my question abt the status of connection. If a cust calls for any query either they should say by looking at the billing information that it will normally take some days or its underprogress. I have taken 256 kbps plan but I am receiving only 156 and below speed, when I given complaint against the probelm. they will attend, they will say it was corrected later will work under the same speed.                             I applied for an airtel broadband connection on 6th Nov 09 (Application No.TBLR 0043040). Airtel executive promised me to provide a new connection within seven days. I paid INR 2, 397.00 as three months advance rental via cheque and that was debited on 9th Nov from my account.

                            Since then I have been following up with airtel to get the broadband installed at my home but I am amazed with their response. See what has happened:

                            On 6th Nov, airtel's representative came to me, filled an application form and took Rs 50 (cash) extra for the reason which I am still trying to figure out. His mobile number mentioned on application doesn't exist at all so I couldn't reach him after that.

                            As per their call center executives the deadline for the installation was 16th Nov 09.

                            On the eve of 16th I called them to know the status/progress, they said that a complaint needs to be taken for this and provided me a complaint id[protected]. I an still wondering why.

                            On 19th I again called them to check the status of that complaint but leant that it has been closed without informing me. I asked the reason and the on call agent told me that the ports to provide the new connection is not empty.

                            I was disappointed becuase these deceivers keep giving me different info, I am only calling them and interacting with a trained liar on each interaction. I was told by Airtel that the port near my house is available and thatswhy their representative rushed to my house with the application. Finally after getting all proper paper work and the money they are making suffer for getting a connection. Please take action against this company as it is incapable of providing the service to customers but acts very swiftly when it comes to gather cheques/money.

                            I have Airtel Broadband for a year now. Recently I doubled my speed using a Plan giving Rs 100 extra in bills every month.
                            At around 10 PM i just checked the speed and to my surprise it was 350 KB up and download though it was suppose to be around 1 Mbps(earlier it was 512 Kbps).

                            When it was was upgraded to 1 Mbps it took 15 days from the day they charged me.

                            I had applied for airtel broadband connection on 12th of august 2011 and agent promised me to set a connection in 3 days .After that i keep calling him after 3 days he did not replied, rejected my calls and then after 12 days on 24th aug connection established. Then i called on customer care for issue related to my login id and password .I called more than 10 times.I try to get online help but and i didnt get my problem solved .They used to keep me on hold, disconnect my calls, don't take calls, sometimes they say we will send u shortly but i did'nt received yet . It cost me more than 70 rs on my mobile bill still i didnt get my Login id and password on airtel.in from where i can see my data usage. I choose airtel because of good services it provides but i have experience of such worst* services that I dont want to continue with this services.                                 My sister lost her mobile yesterday when i tried to deactivate the SIM card thru airtel customer care exective they denied to take my compliant and given me the suggestion to get it done from any nearest airtel dealer.

                                When i reached to nearest airtel dealer to deactivate they told me that they don't have any privelige to deactivate the sim card i need to complaint at there Begampet office head office only.

                                I am suprised & wondered that so called no 1 telecom service provider in india is not have such a basic service to deactivate the SIM card in case to lost or theft or in emergency.

                                As we all know how things are happening in india every other day terrorist attacks, bomb blast etc are happen over mobile phone, in such case if any customer is losing there mobile he/she will become easy pray to those unforseen incidents.

                                Since i request Airtel management to please look into this matter and simplfy the deactivation process in such cases of emergency.

                                  This is regarding the Airtel Postpaid Connections poor service. They have disconnected my number for the reason for address verification (- ve). After that i have provided full detail for the second time after that executive from airtel verified and got signature from one of the partner of my company and even then he says that the address is not proper and they have permanently disconnected my number. If any one can help me in this regards and i want to register a complient regarding this on Airtel and i want to claim Compensation from them as because it affected my company business.

                                    This is a complain specific to the arrogant behaviour of illiterate employee Manjunath from Airtel Bangalore Cancellation Dept. This may go well with other employees who behave likewise. Firstly this guy is very illiterate to provide customer service & I am sure there are numerous of his kind. Recently I was on a call with him for over 10 mins to cancel my connection & when he couldn't answer my questions about various options available to cancel, he arrogantly started saying "your voice is breaking" & disconnected my call. This is the most popular way for Airtel customer care representatives to get away from the customer. According to them whenever they don't want to talk further automatically our voice starts breaking out! How poorly these reps have been trained or whether they are trained at all? If they are so scared to face the customers then why the heck they are paid for? Airtel training dept really sucks. There are countless complaints on Airtel but pathetically their management neither doesn't seem to do anything nor they want to. If you really want to see how you are doing then allow customers to raise a grievance against anyone in customer care dept. I am sure your database will be full in no time. If any of the Airtel management person is reading this complaint then let me know what action you will take against Manjunath?

The call never gets connected as you get Not Accessible/Switched off messages. But if you keep trying you get connected ! The other day when I left for Chennai, I got the welcome message at Hosur and then the line went dead for the whole day and the next day it started working alright! Today at Bangalore around 11.30 Am the line went dead abruptly and all my effort to hook on to the network manualy failed with a message NO ACCESS ! My umpteen attempts to contact Customer Care went futile as the electronic options are designed to prevent the Customer (dont)care officers being accessible to Customers. What a sorry state of affairs! What an irresponsible establishment! What a fool I am to be still with Airtel. I carry an additional phone with a Vodaphone sim now a days.

                                    I had requested for a migration of Prepaid to Postpaid connection on Jan 31st 2009.
                                    As per procedure all necessary documents were submitted and the payment made. The sim card was supposed to be activated in 48 hours, or so I was told. After 5 days, when I called Airtel office, they said that their "server was down" and so the processing could not be done. They would need another 4 days to do it. After 4 days, it was still not done. I went to the office and found that my application was lying on the desk of the person who was working on it. They had "forgotten" about it and was working on it. Another 2 days. When it was still not done, I called the nodal officer. The nodal office is another place of chaos and they have absolutely no co ordination in their work. The office closes by 5 pm and everyday there is a new person answering the call who has no idea what the other person has been doing. I did not see much hope there. On Feb 12th, I went to the office again and this they told me they had "lost the documents" and I should be submitting these again. I had requested for my money back as I dont have any more faith in these people. They convinced me an executive will be there at my place first thing in the morning next day to collect these docs. No one came. I am writing this complaint more out of disappointment than frustration. I work in a mobile phone service provider company and it is very sad to see the difference in service standards with our Indian counterpart.

                                    II have Airtel postpaid connection and recently I have shifted to our new flat in purva fountain square, Marathalli. The network there is just not there. Inside the flat when you stand in the balcony only you get signal otherwise there is ZERO signal. I dont know how effective this site would be to solve this problem...giving it a try.

                                      I took Airtel Prepaid number in name of PARSHAV JAIN ([protected]) from New Friends Colony Relationship center in first week of June 08. I opted for life time plan. I paid for sim charges, life time plan and submitted the necessary documents along with alternate contact number. After approximately two months on 23 July 08 Airtel barred my number WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION. After contacting Airtel customer care they informed me that due to address verification failure number got barred and I should submit documents again. On 25th July, I also purchased talk time for Rs 222/, however, even they don’t intimated me that number is not working and Airtel just put money in their pocket. On 29th July 08, I again submitted requested documents at Dwarka Airtel Relationship Center. However, my number was not activated till date. Again, when I contacted Airtel, they told me that the number is PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED. This time also they disconnected MY NUMBER WITHOUT INFORMING ME. Relationship center informed that Airtel gives 15 days time for submitting documents. However, I submitted the documents within 6 days, even they disconnected my number.

                                      Economic damage is very nominal say Rs 100 for sim charges, Rs 300 for life time plan, Rs 222 on recharge. However, the inconvenience caused cannot be measured. Airtel is harassing their customer. They are not providing services. It was really a mess. Airtel did this because i have paid money for lifetime connection. Instead if I would have given application for cancelling any postpaid connection Airtel contacts its customer atleast 10 times and will explain me 100 alternates.
