Sir,
I am the retailer of Airtel Mobile Demo Recharger.My Lapu no. is [protected].I had recharge of 850 Rs. on 10th June 2008 with transaction id [protected] by mistake.I requested my Distributor at Bharuch, Gujarat & he said me that he done the procedure to revert the balance.After 2 months, nothing was happen & I asked the retailer.Again he mail to Airtel for revert, but company replied as old case & not given any revert.I request my Distributer, Airtel District level officer but no one helping me nor give me the main officers contact details.I followed the process of reverting recharge by informing distributer on the same day.Now from where I can get my revert.The balance was unused as on date.Very poor service & feel cheating by Airtel authorised person.Thanks,

    Hello there,
    I dont know whether anybody would even bother to look into this complaint as this is the second time that I am complaining about the same nuisance being caused by numerous phone calls to subscribe to CRBT tunes and other marketing offers on my airtel number. My airtel prepaid number is [protected] and I am simply fed up with disturbing calls coming in at all odd times and a great frequency throughout the day.
    These are chiefly the numbers from where i keep getting called [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
    From what I surmise is that Airtel has been selling their database of customer numbers to these marketing companies and insurance companies for a fee and this is absolutely illegal that without prior permission from a customer a service provider is revealing private numbers and confidential info to these marketing maniacs who are mannerless enough to disturb you and make a nuisance out of themselves.
    Kindly put an end to this and do not reveal confidential customer numbers and info to any such companies. I am sure Airtel should have better means of making money rather than selling thier databases to others.
    Kindly do the needful at the earliest else I may have to switch to another service provider.

    Airtel — Nuisense created by Airtel

    Dear All,

    Please note that I lost my cell on 22-Aug'08. I asked Airtel to block my number [protected] so that the number is not misused. Despite of complaining in Airtel Galleria office only outgoing for that number was barred. I had to visit them again in order to get my incoming barred. I asked them to give me a sim so that I can retreive the same number i.e. [protected] which is being used since year 2002. I was being given a false information at first time that the servers are down and they cann't help me till 01-Sep'08. They also informed me that I would have to wait till 03-Sep'08 for getting new sim. I was being advised to buy a new prepaid connection. I purchased a new number [protected] and when I went for activation of the new number I was being informed that the new number is not registered with Airtel. It is strange to know that Airtel is selling the numbers in market which are not even registered with them. One of the executive of Galleria office i.e. Chetan advised me that he can't help me and I should contact hotline number 51111. Call center executive Rajesh didn't understand anything and showed some ridiculous behaviour and advised me to move to consumer court. Airtel claims that there numbers are activated in 2 hours. I have been in trouble because of these people and nobody is ready to help. I would request people not to go for this service provider as you would only hold the bull by horns if you chose Airtel.

    AirTel — doing nuisance with customers

    Dear sir madam

    I would like to bring to your notice that the four numbers which are mentioned below

    Has not been activated since 30-05-09 which has been comitted by one of your sales executive. 15 days ago.

    The number [protected] which belongs to me has only been activated under the combat plan (plan copy given by your executive is been attached with this e-mail) so I would like to request you to activate all the numbers mentioned above as soon as possible because I am in a situation to pay useless amount of money as I had to remain in contact with the other numbers in regular basis and I was comitted by your sales executive to be in a facility to avail group calling free of cost.

    I would be very obliged if you activate all the above mentioned numbers in 199 combat plan (or attached plan).

    It would be beneficial if you form a group by the name of our company whose documents had been attached with the customer detail form of each number as there are many more people to join this group.

        Hi,

        I am Neha Gupta.

        Recently I got admission in a master's course in Delhi. The same started on 16th of July so I had to migrate from Punjab to Delhi. I shifted on the 13th of July and bought an Airtel number ([protected]) on the same day. My number got activated on 13th itself on submission of a photograph and an ID proof (for which I provided a photocopy of my driver's license).



        Within the next week I received a phone call from Airtel that I need to submit a fresh ID proof. I followed up and submitted another photograph and 3 ID proofs (a photocopy of my driver's license, my college ID card, my college fee receipt each).



        Then about 3 weeks later I received a message from Airtel about the same. The difference was that this message stated that if I do not submit the proof then the services to my number will be withdrawn. I immediately contacted the Airtel dealer from whom I had bought the number. He informed me that the proof has been sent but asked me to give him another proof. I again submitted all the 3 documents mentioned above along with a photograph.



        Following this the very next day i.e. 8th August, 2008 the incoming and outgoing call facility on my number was withdrawn. The very same evening I went back to the dealer to get help with the same. On enquiring it was found out that the form had been duly received and had NOT been rejected. Again I was asked to submit another photograph and ID proof. The dealer got in touch with Mr. Pradeep who heads these operations for the Kamla Nagar area, North Delhi. I was assured that my phone will start functioning by Monday. It has been over 10 days and still the services to my number stand withdrawn in spite of regular reminders, incessant visits to the dealer's shop and submission of the ID proof 4 times.

        When the dealer called up Mr. Pardeep ([protected]) and asked him to speak to the customer concerned (me), he choose to disconnect the line and switch off his telephone instead.

        Being an outstation student, the only mobile phone number that one has becomes even more important. Due to the amazing treatment that I have experienced at the hands of Airtel I had to pick up another alternate number.

        Then after 2 days n after calling up a Mr. Gautam ([protected]) a few times I was issued a new sim card. On asking about the the transfer of balance that was present in my old account ([protected]) I was told that that would not be possible.

        After about 2 weeks of running around and infinite submissions of id proof I get a new number cause the company is unable to renew the old one and the money spent on the old account is not refunded or transfered to the new one.
        Very convenient. This way the company can very well just disconnect all the students accounts and issue them new numbers and make a statement that it is unable to do anything about the balance present in the previous account.

        This kind of treatment is not expected out of a company like Airtel. I would really appreciate it if someone from your company would get in touch with me regarding this matter and compensate me for the same.

          I have Broad Band Connection Number .

          For the Bill of July 08 ; To collect the cheque I made so many Phone call (3 times) to Customer Care and submit requests to collect the cheque from my office address at Airtel, C-24 Sec-59 NOIDA,

          After submitting so many requests No one Approached to me to collect it and Above all my Service is barred.

          Customer Care fellows HARASSED mentally myself and my Family by making so many calls at the home on same Number that payment is not made .
          WHILE I had submitted the request already.(304 times)

          After All These Exercise my SERVICE IS BARRED on 27 July 08.

          I'm surprised the way AIRTEL is dealing with customers .

          Today, at 5.06 pm I approached at Customer Care Number[protected], that fellow Told me that those calls might be from Collection Center . He did not provide phone number for the same ALSO Disconnected the Phone without completing or Taking Address for Cheque collection (Ref Number:[protected].His Behaviour was not at all acceptable .They speak only one like in a good manner i.e."How may I assist you" the very second like was so rude.

          Dear I'm really feeling sorry that i have taken AIRTEL connection .
          sir; airtel connection boradband connection to ramprakash gupta to instalition so want you net connection is not satisfied js airtel office workar no satisfied airtel custumer and no saport airtel service datia m.p.sir pls reqest me help me.

            i am trying to avail GPRS and MOBILE OFFICE facility from Airtel from last FIFTEEN days, but i am defeated with useless Airtel in getting above mentioned services. All the person sitting in Customer Care dont know what they are doing, all different person are telling different different reason or you can say excuses. The height of stupidity is that now they have blocked my call to Customer Care...

            SO KINDLY AVAIL ME THIS FACILITY.

              I registered my post paid connection no. [protected] at Airtel site. But after logging my account, I am unable to access my account/bills detail etc. It displays the message as, "We are unable to process your request. Please try later. Sorry for the incovenience". I also called to customer care but response so far.

                Sir,
                For the Past four months I am regularly submitting my complaint through online regarding unsubcription for MKR tips which has been wrongly subscribed from my mobile No. [protected]. I had contacted number of times to cutomer care service 121 and also 543213 but to no positive reply. Whenever I recharge a sum of Rs. 30 is deducted immediately. Whereas I am requesting for unsubscription for the above service i.e. (MKR TIPS) immediately from my phone. I have already lost Rs. 120 and I cannot use my mobile properly because I cannot use it for outgoing calls. This has caused uncecessary mental harrasement and also I am losing my important calls because my father is a heart disease patient who calls me regulary. I request you this serivce may be removed immedatly. I hope I will receive my reply positively within 24 hours to my mobile or to my email: [protected]@yahoo.com

                Personal — discontinue the service of MKR tips immediately

                Recently to my Mobile No. [protected] I received a message regarding MKR TIPS. How it has been added to my No I don't know and I immediately contacted the customer care and I also tried the No.[protected] but for my surprise I could not get the no inspite of trying several days. I am unnecessary losing my balace money due to this unwanted message. I request you to discontinue this serivice immeidately.

                Airtel — request for unsubscription for mkr tips not done

                Sir,
                I am making this complaint for the past four months, Regarding unsubscription for MKR tips which has wrongly been subscribed from my mobile No. [protected]. I am requesting for the past four months to unsubscribe for MKR tips but It is not been done and I think If has fallen into the deaf ears of airtel customers care service people. I
                I am unnecessarily losing 30Rs. every month. Also I cannot use the sim for outgoing calls. If I recharge the amount is deducted immediately. This is unfair method on the part of airtel customer care people. I once again request you to unsubscribe for MKR tips or else the matter will be taken to the customer court If the reply is not received within SEVEN days from today.

                I am using an Airtel post paid connection since 5years. I have not subscribed any 'Mitti Ke Rang' scheme, but somehow i find myself recieving messages saying 'Congratulation, you have subscribed to the MKR scheme..' at the cost of Rs.30. I request you to please look into this matter urgently, as it is extremely annoying for a loyal costumer to be put through such inconvenience.

                This is so wrong MKR Tips subcription. be cause I' m a Airtel costmer ( mobile no. [protected]). I am very disappointed for your custmer care sevice. cause I tried to several times your custmer care No. 121 but their is no response.
                So I request to custmer care centre that unsubscribe MKR service of the above mobile no.

                I was a victim of that MKR scam too. For several months I tried to disable this service, but the number provided in messages never responded.
                Finally, I decided to visit Airtel office about this issue, and they made the miracle with no questions! That's what they did:
                --Send message 'STOP' to 121.
                You'll get 2 messages, one about accepted request, and another with list of currently active 'services'. Verify that list against other scam 'services'. Fortunately, I had only that dirty MKR.
                --Reply with the number of the service you want to stop. (In my case it was 1, one and only ;)
                You'll get confirmation message.
                --Reply again with the same number (1).

                Finally you'll get that sweet "Your MKR service has been stopped."

                Yahoo!!! :)

                BTW, you can unsubscribe any Airtel scam service this way. Or just check that you are not scamed.

                At first I thought this MKR service is only a trouble because o[censored]nwanted SMS in my phone. However, later I realized it costs a substantial Rs. 30 every month. For a guy like me with a 100 Rs recharge each month, thats a huge amount.

                I called this number on MKR SMS but no answer. Why did they give us this number in the SMS if it doesn't even work? Such !!

                Now, finally after calling 121 I got a message saying it is stopped, call same MKR number to start service again. HAHA ... why don't they realize this god forsaked number doesn't even EXIST!!!

                  Sir,
                  I have taken Pre- Paid Air Tel Connection on 15.07.2008 and activated to Lifetime from Patna (Bihar). GPRS / Internet activated on first week of August’08 (around 5th August). But the connection is blocked on 19.08.08 without my information / notice. After contacting the customer care, your representative told me that blocked for identity problem, it will be activated soon. But no satisfactory answer. I have already given all my identity proof with application. A lot of time has already been lapsed causing me great inconvenience.
                  Hence you are requested to kindly take necessary action to restore my connection.

                      I am working for Sobha Developers limited, in Bangalore.The company has given me a post paid airtel connection - [protected].For the past 3 months i have been getting calls from airtel, asking for Mr Prasanth Gururaj. That person has not paid his bill and my number has been given as an alternate number. I absolutely have no idea who this person is and i have been telling this to the Airtel personnels who call me. But calls keep coming and every day i have been getting these calls for past 3 months . I have called 121 and complained twice. But they told me that there is no way these calls can be stopped as that person has given my number as alternate number. I cant keep on answering these calls which comes about 2 times a day from various numbers. Please find a solution as soon as possible.

                        Airtel Mobile bill — Repetitive Mobile Bills and calls regarding payment after 3 Months of filling request for disconnection of my Number.

                        My Self Anuj Prabhakar. My complaint is against the Airtel Company. Earlier i was using Airtel postpaid connection and the Number was [protected]. this number is on my name. I made a request on 22nd of October to disconnect this number as i dont want to continue this Number any more. The executive asked me to pay the dues and after then your number will be stopped with in 48 hours and he gave my my complaint no. The Complaint no was[protected]. I paid all the dues so that my number will be stopped. But after 3 days my number was still on. i again called them and explain my entire problem to their executive. he again assured me that with in a day your no. will be stopped.
                        But nothing will happen. i called a lot of times to the customer care and request them. But still after 3 Months of my complaint bills are coming regularly and i am not even using that number since that day.
                        In between i talk to Mrs Singh (Who is the senior person from Airtel who takes care of the complaint of the customer) 2-3 times and explain my problem to her. She told me not to bother about these bills and you need not to pay anything because this is the mistake from Airtel side only.
                        But still their executives called on my alternate number regarding the payment repetitively which is using my Wife and the executive called they talked harshly on phones.

                        Please look into the matter. I am tired to talk to Company guys. They are harassing me by calling me again and again and now their executives are using harsh language. please take certain action to stop these harassment.
                        i have not received any bills on my adress since last few months.
                        I have not got since last 6months.

                          at a time the best cellukar service provider now are on the path to achieve the worst services & customer help.
                          Since many days I regulary get sms from # 57333 - you have a new mail. Sub: Connexions alert: new mes.
                          And in the same manner another sms from #[protected] thanks for using alert services on Airtel sms.
                          The limit is I get such sms nera about 70 in a day as a result I loose my useful sms to read.
                          Many a times complained to helplinr officers but they are to care for bills & other unwanted talks on helpline instead of taking care to customer.
                          THIS IS ALL ABOUT AIRTEL - SOON GOING TO BE THE WORST

                            I am sending you the exact email which I sent to AIRTEL regional head but nothing happened now I am sending it to you... If you can suggest me anything else which I could do regarding this matter please let me know.

                            I am feeling very unfortunate as I am very old user of Airtel service. I have been using my current number since 4 years.

                            But the real issue is something different. It starts from the day when an executive(Miss. Shruti - [protected]) from Vega Center Pune, called me to offer a CUG plan and after several talks she came up with so called "Specially Designed" plan for us. Here are the details of that plan




                            Combat II



                            Monthly Rental: Rs. 199.0


                            A- A : Rs. 0.10

                            A- Other Mobile Rs. 0.10

                            A- Local Landline Rs. 0.80

                            STD Rs. 1.25

                            SMS(Local) Rs. 0.30

                            CUG Free

                            150 SMS Free



                            I have around 10-15 mails which was specifying this plan from Mr. Tejpal ([protected]) of Vega Center.



                            Mr. Kumar ([protected]) from Vega Center came to our office(Sharda Arcade, Pune) and collected the details/Documents and Payment Rs.250/connection for 20 new connections. The details are as follows:






                            As intended all cards got activated, now the real problem starts. Two days after activation of the cards, 7 card's outgoing was barred.






                            After calling so many times to Mr. Tejapal and Mr. Kumar none of them responded and kept on giving stupid excuses. We have waited for more than a month but no one came back to solve the queries. The executives used to call 5 times a day before taking the connection but once the connections been sold those people stop replying to our phone calls and started using rude language,


                            One more hidden surprise was there for us when the bill came of first month it was not as per the commitment of Mr. Kumar but it was as follows:



                            Monthly Rental: Rs. 199.0

                            A-A Calling: Rs. 0.40 (Should be Rs. 0.10)

                            A-Other Mobile Rs. 0.40 (Should be Rs. 0.10)

                            A-Local Landline Rs. 0.80

                            STD Rs. 1.25

                            SMS(Local) Rs. 0.30

                            CUG Free



                            Those 7 numbers which were not even active also received the bills.



                            What we want is either of following two:

                            1. Plan which was intended by executive to us.
                            2. Refund of complete deposit money.


                            But this is not the end of the story there is one more issue. At the beginning we have given money for 5 more connections for which an executive took the money but never turned up. He did not even take the documents for further process.

                            Now after almost 2 moths we decided to send you email requesting for sorting out the matter. This is the final appeal to Airtel after this next mail will be sent to Consumer Court and Media because its directly fraud to a MNC Company.


                            Please call me as soon as possible on my number regarding this issue so that we can take our next step.

                              Airtel Broadband — Disconnection and deficiency in service

                              SUBJECT: COMPLAINT IN RESPECT OF DISCONNECTION OF BROADBAND CONNECTION BEARING NO. 43044049 AT B9 &10, SHEKHAR APPTS. MAYUR VIHAR PHASE I EXT. DELHI-71 IN THE NAME OF MS. KAVITA BHARTI

                              This is to dispute the bill amount raised by in respect of the aforesaid connection for the month of May’09. The downloads noted are highly exaggerated and baseless based on fabricated downloads. Kindly note that I have not made the downloads mentioned by you in the present bill.

                              Further, it is pertinent to point out that I had made my last payment in the month of May’2009. However, despite requests, my connection has been disconnected without any notice to me. The company is guilty o[censored]nfair trade practices and deficiency of services on interalia the following grounds:

                              1. disconnection of services to my connection without any reason and without notice.
                              2. disconnection of services to my connection without considering the fact that on the date of disconnection I had not even received the bill for the month of May.
                              3. As a matter of practice the company charges for the period when no services have been provided that is for the period of disconnection in addition to interest and penalty for delay in payment.
                              4. Despite my consumer complaint, the company has failed to take any action in this regard.
                              5. Despite my consumer complaint, no one has bothered to contact me.
                              6. Because of their action, I have suffered both monetary and reputation loss.

                              I had made a disconnetion request of the airtel broadband connection No.14223155 on 4.12.2009 vide registration No.289206 with the Airtel Retension Deptt.as I inted to go abroad. Since then the line has been disconnected .Accordingly I had paid the last bill dt.19.12.2009 for Rs.546-as full and final payment as per the agreed scheme.
                              However to my surprise I have just received another bill dt.19.1.2010 asking for payment for further period which is wrong and totally disagree.

                              Therefore I would request you to take up the matter with concerned person and stop sending the wrong bills and disconnect the line forever.

                              Despite one month of regular follow ups Airtel has failed to play my corporate Hello tune the staff is very rude & disconnects calls & I see no hope in future helping me.

                              Airtel Broadband — False Billing and Mental harrasment

                              I had subscribed for Airtel Broadband for six months and was unaware that the service will continue after the mentioned period as well. The service was extended for extra 1 month and then was discontinued citing non-payment of Bill.
                              I received a call on 11-Feb-2011 from Airtel and have shown my willingness to pay for extra one month usage(and not for the bill corresponding to 5 months as the service was discontinued). But they sent me a mail threatening legal proceeding and suggested me to call the number [protected] for an amicable solution. The guy over the phone was abusive and rude, to add to this the phone was reachable after calling on it for more than 5 times.
                              The offer was made to me by the Airtel agent in my society and hence i had requested him to discontinue the number. This has become a prevalent practice by Broadband service providers to use ill-informed agents/part time workers for promotion and due to their incompetence the users have to suffer the arising issues.
                              Please take notice of this and take appropriate action so that there is a learning for broader audience.

                              Airtel — Deficient Service and Reimbursement

                              We have installed an Airtel Landline connection for the past 6 months at my residence. My landline Account no. is 10737820. We have been using landline and broadband services through the same line. In May 2010, we intended to change our bill plan and called up Airtel customer care who suggested us bill plan KK_One Airtel Value Combo 749 Plan which included Free Calling Discount of Rs. 100/- per month on the landline; Rs. 100/- per month on an Airtel Mobile Number and 4GB download limit on Broadband. We agreed and gave them my mother's mobile number to add the Rs. 100/- per month as per scheme. We anticipated that the same was being included every month henceforth. In June 2011, when I was back in Bangalore; I realised that the amounts were not being transfered as promised and did a quick check with customer care and realised that the promised amount was never transfered. I then escalated the complaint only to be told that they cannot reimburse me more than 5 months inspite of the fact that they have not paid for more than a year.. I objected and escalated it further but to no avail. Infact; I have been complaining for the past three months now and the amount is still not being transfered as promised. However; I keep receiving sms messages and e-mails that my query has been resolved. The customer care representatives are actually least interested in the complaint and infact blame me back that it is my mistake to not have complained earlier. I request you to take this issue forward and compensate us for the same. Airtel had been a great vendor earlier but now with the unprecededted customer base it has today; it has become extremely callous with its loyal customers. Kindly bring the telecom operator to book and issue strict guidelines on conning innocent customers with their sales pitch.

                                  Airtel distrubuters are providing airtel number to any customer without any full verification due to that I faced lots of problem & tension so I am now mentally disturb & have diversed from my official work because I am software engineer for US based MNC company.

                                    even when i asked to transfer to superwiser they want be available to transfer or doing fraud comment that they r busy and all.
                                    it is height of the problem.if any thing will happen then AIRTEL will be responsible for the same.

                                    at the same time i am consulting my lawyer for the business loss compensation and for harassments that we have suffered from many months .

                                    my complain is pending from march..This is mentally harassment from AIrtel even after paying regular bills .I am also sending one cc to TRAI for the same.

                                    I and my wife have Airtel connection for the past three years. We moved to Andhri East (Kadamvadi Road, Opposite Leela Hotel) a year ago and have been complaining to Airtel for the poor connectivity. We have to literally hang on our window to talk to someone. This is very disappointing that our complaints were never taken seriously. We are now seriously thinking about other service providers.

                                      i had subscribed for yahoo service on airtel no. [protected] only for a week.
                                      in the second week, it has automatically renewed, unless we unsubscribe by ourselves which is again visiting their link, unable to link from the mobile phone.

                                      kindly do the needful to unsubscribe and waive charges

                                      the yahoo service subscribed was also not used as unable to login many times

                                        An automated call from airtel was made on my number [protected] and when i came to know its a marketing call i disconected the call. Since then airtel has debited my prepaid account for Rs 30 twice and inspite of repeated complaints no money has been refunded. airtel doesn't have a single evidence which proves that i subscribed to their Mitti Ke Rang Service. i don't have any idea from where i can get help.
                                        I have been charged Rs. 215 for no reason, My phone number is [protected] (Airtel Prepaid). My balance was Rs. 332.72 yesterday and today I get some an sms from 543211 saying "You have been charged Rs. 15 and your caller wil now hear Aap Ki Kashish as your hello tune." And so I checked my balance it showed Rs. 117.72.
                                        I am currently in Tokyo, Japan. Obviously, I am not using my phone to receive calls because I am not stupid enough to pay Rs. 100/min. Since, I am not using my phone to make any calls these jerks have figured out another way to extract money from me. Oh yes, and just when I am typing this complaint, they sent me another message congratulating me for hello tunes subscription for 365 days. Seriously, WHAT THE [censored]?????????
