i have purchased a prepaid airtel sim of students plan, as per the plan
A-A=50Ps
A-O-=50Ps
A-LL=1Rs
Daily rental =1Rs (100sms free)
Mon-Frdiday Night 11-morn 7 A-A= 25Ps
Saturday-Sunday Full day A-A=25Ps


this 25Ps has not been activated till now, n there is no proper response from customer care support
now i am goin to log the complaint in consumer court regardin this
my gupshup pack is not activate .40 rs recomended min balance but my balance, near about 80Rs.my mob no-[protected] (punjab region).pls activate gup shup
i hv also prepaid sim and my balance is above 60 but while actiwating gupshup plan it is said by a message that my balance is low...my num is [protected]...

i want to activate gupshup pack on my no. for calling at two no. which is activate by 656 calling
i have call at customer care at 121 but they dnt know the procedure to deactivate night pack
its a request please help me regarding this i want to remove night pack on my mobile please if there
is any possibility to deactivate from ur side please deactivate it if any kind of procedure to
deactivate this service please send me the procedure i shakll be very thank full to you sir/madam

    Mobile not activate , blank sim card

    I took sim card from a local shop at Majiwada, Thane of Airtel on 11/08/08 havibg the mobile no [protected] but it was not activated till 15/08/08 . When I enquired from an Airtel shop, it was found to be a Blank number.
    Then I took another sim card from the same shop having the number [protected] on 15/08/08 at morning hours, but till now ( 17/08/08 at 10 hours ) it is not activated.
    The Airtel must explain for such harassment...

    BARRED MY MOBILE NUMBER AFTER GETTING ALL THE MONEY

    I got a new Airtel postpaid mobile number([protected]), from Airtel dealer Greentel of Tirupur. They have collected my address proof and also Rs.500 for activation charge and also for Golden number. I have used the number for few days and surrendered my old numbers also shifted my contact totally to this number now my mobile number is barred and they are giving the reason as the address in my proof(driving licence, scanned copy of the same...

    SMSes from 64611001 assault me everyday, on a regular basis, each informing me that Re.1 has been deducted for "TextBasedServices subscription renewal on Airtel SMS".

    I have not asked for any new services and I want thi to stop immediately. I've tried complaining on Airtel's customer care numbers at least fifty million times. Pre-paid doesn't have an option for complaints and post-paid only services post-paid.
    Yes i am having the same problem. I too complained to customer care but problem didn't solved. Shouldn't you think we should go to consumer form?
    i agree to same complaint i am also suffer from 64611001 when it off god knows i have also talk to customer care so many times which is useless in that way airtell loss customer convey this msg to all airtell customer

    Airtel — Deduction in amount due to sms from 64611001

    From last 2 weeks, I am receiving daily sms's from 64611001 telling "Thank u for using airtel services". When I checked airtel live site(transaction zone), i came to know that text based services has been activated without my prior notice. I have never activated this service. I have complained regarding this to airtel local customer care 2 times. I received sms regarding vas pack deactivated 2 times but again after few hours again I receive message from 64611001 and my account balance is deducted by Rs.1. I have even complained about it by calling on 121 but they never deactivated this service. My balance is deducted by 25-30 rs till now. When balance is zero, no thank u message comes from 64611001. I am totally harassed by this airtel service. Even I have make up my mind to throw away this card in next 14 days if this matter does not get resolved.

    But i don't have GPRS setting so what hell they are charging for.
    Even i am facing this problem. This is not fare.
    if airtel cheat the customers like us. we should also cheat them by simply taking post paid connection and bunk the bill..with wrong address proofs.

    I am facing exactly the same problem getting a message from 64611001 and Re 1 is deducted from the account.I complained customer care twice they did nothing. Now they are taking my calls.If they remain doing so how can I recharge my mobile. They are giving me a huge tension.

    Earlier in past they had cut Rs. 250 from my account and gave no explanation. I consoled myself as it was for a single time.But this time they are doing it daily. Customer care is useless better to case a file against them.

    I got a message from Airtel Thanks message for subscription to Friendz Chat & that it will be charged Rs.30 & valid until next 30 days . I would like to bring to your kind notice, I have not subscribed to this & I don’t want to utilize this feature as well. Similalry I have never subscribed for hellotunes & there was a similar subscription message for which 30 Rs was deducted. What should be done for avoid this? I have a pre-paid connection.

      I would like to bring the following to you,
      -I am a student of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai.
      -During the month of February-March, 2008, the Postpaid CUG (Call User Group) SIM were sold in our college campus by AIRTEL Representative (Mr.Sumenasan [protected]), that it was specially for our college.
      -I paid Rs.500 to get the Airtel SIM. The SIM was advertised with various offers.
      -Without providing any prior information my services (outgoing calls) were barred by AIRTEL service provider only after 15 days of my use saying that Students can't be given a Post Paid CUG connection.
      -This was a contradiction to what that AIRTEL representative said and distributed.
      -I was not the only victim of this. Many other students from my college had the same problem. But many of my friends are using the same connection till now. They are also students then why didn't their services were not barred?
      -I lodged complains at various Customer Care AIRTEL showrooms regarding that. I was asked to keep patience as the AIRTEL Executives would come to our college and find a solution regarding that. But there were no response from their side.
      -The last billed amount I remember was Rs. 500 approx which I paid at the AIRTEL showroom. I don't hold any due amount, although I don't have any Bill Payment Slip for that. After that all the problem started and my services were barred.

      Now after more than 4 months I have got a legal notice from Airtel which mention the following-
      -I (Himanshu Raj, Airtel Customer No.[protected] am liable to pay Rs.954.87 (monthly rentals, plan fees & call charges) for using Airtel Mobile No. [protected].
      -If I don't pay the bill, it would make me liable for legal action.
      -I have been asked to meet them on 18.08.2008 of this month between 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

      Please help me with this as I am a student & its not possible for me to leave my classes on working days to meet someone on such nonsense matters. I have already suffered a lot because of the wrong information provided by Airtel.

        sir,
        i had bought Airtel card [protected] prepaid card and had activated one week internet with GPRS..ait worked fine for 4 days...on 5th day it did not work ...and i called customer care and had done a register and they told after 7th day the amount for that day will be credited back to my account and till today it was not credited ...now i tried to call customer care 121 ...i am unable to call them...it gives mess that "type ur complaint and sent it to 121...i had sent mess for more that 20 to 30 times...no reply or no calls...

        airtel people are cheat...they had cheated me and took my money from my prepaid account ...please take some severe action against them...

        worst service provider...i hate their false commitments...
        if they have guts the airtel higher officer should call to my no and speak to me reg this issue...

        are they ready to face me...

        i am using airtel prepaid number [protected] it has mobile office activated for almost eight months till now but in the march 2008 on 7'th march midnight when i was sleeping somebody hacked made calls to an international number [protected] due to that i lost rs.500 on 7'th march as from my call recorder it showed that call was made at 3:30 am at that time i was sleeping how i can make calls at that time and i have nobody their to call, again on 8'th night i recharged with top-up of rs.222 i lost that amount too when i called and visited customercare that i am the person who made these call how cud i make call at that time they were not supportive nor trying to understand where the problem was airtel has the most pathetic, ridiculous and very bad service provider in india i think (TRAI) telecom regulatory authority of india should ban airtel.

        i had bought Airtel Prepaid No. [protected] with Photo Copy (I.D. & Photo Proof) From Recharge House Sutanpur on 10 May 2011 and had activated by Airtel at same day ..ait worked fine for 30 days...on 31st day it did not work ...and i called customer care and had done a register and they told that this No. ([protected]) was not activated till 11 June 2011. ...now i tried to call customer care 121 ...i am unable to call them...it gives that same word.

        airtel people are cheat...they had cheated me and want to mentally disturb ...please take some severe action against them...

        worst service provider...i hate their false commitments...
        if they have guts the airtel higher officer should call to my no and speak to me reg this issue...

        are they ready to face me...

          To update you and to my surprise the DNS servers at Airtel are a Security Havoc for all o[censored]s, using them.They suffer with the 2008 DNS Bug of the Interent...The very basic flaw in the DNS servers that makes our Internet connection vulnerable.

          Search and I have found out...Doxpro Research report says it all...Please tell us where to report it online.

            i get a new add on connection on 8/08/2008 that sim was not supported any nokia hand set, i make a complaint at show room of airtel they said me that i have to paid 190/- Rs for that new sim that amount will be adjusted in invoice i agreed on that this was done on 11/08/2008, but till now i did not get new sim to avail the services of airtel,

            because of bad service i am fed up from airtel service,

            if you help me to get rid of this tension & bad service then i am very thank ful to you.

            i purchased an Airtel Sim No. [protected] fom Regs. Airtel Counter presenting passport size photo alongwith photocopy of EPIC Card as proof of Address & Identity clearly ; a couple of months back I was sent sms repeatedly to submit photo & EPIC Card again for verification, which I submitted instantly at the local Authorised Airtel Shop. On 3 / 01 / 11 my Airtel connection was temporarily disconnected, I face great financial loss due to this trouble.
            Please take necessary action under intimation to me.

              i got my net connection on 6th month. they promised only 500as registration fee and gave me the receipt .now they are not reversing the amount.they are telling something its not acceptable
              the concern person Mr.karthik([protected]) has promised that mistake is his side so he will give the refund but he is not attending the call now... this like cheating...dont cheat the people i need best result

              my name is bobby mudgel m using airtel broad band since last few year---i use night time free pack---my avrg bill is round bout 1000rs per month this month i got a bill from them over 3000rs----i always start downloading after 20.15 ist cause my free time start after 20.[protected]in my latwest bill for one particular days download they charged 2926 rs[protected]i think like many other comp airtell is also cheating their costumer.

                I got an airtel mobile connection (No :[protected] SIM[protected] on 03/05/2008 under Lifetime prepaid plan by paying Rs295. Transaction Id is [protected] ( as per the SMS received from AIRTEL). The connection was activated on the same day and worked fine till around 20th May 2008. In the mean time I recharged the mobile by Rs 100 on 17th may 2008. Thereafter mobile was not in use for 2 months (approx.). When I switched on the mobile on 2/8/2006 I found SIM registration failed.

                Message in this regard was sent to Airtel incluing their nodal officer on 2/8/2008. I tried to contact their customer center who informed me that this is a new connection and services to may number has been discontinued. They refused to give me complaint number.

                You are requested to look into the matter so that this is resolved at the earliest. Copy of my communication is pasted below:



                Reminder to earlier mail dated 02/08/08 and 08/08/2008

                In continuation to above mails I once again request you to let me know the reason of withdrawing the services to my number. I am unable to contact at 121 with my MTNL mumber. Yesterday I talked to customer care executive with somebody's airtel number an to my surprise he said this number has been allocated to somebody else. He wanted to have my SIM number which I did not have at that time. My Sim number is :
                [protected]. I had applied for life time prepaid on 03/05/2008 trans id [protected] and it worked satisfacorily.But all of a sudden the services have been withdrawn.
                You are requested to look into the matter at the earliest. If no action is taken at your end I shall be forced to take up the issue with higher authorities/ Regulator.

                  I am very unhappy with yor customer service, as i have my complaint, which have been registered on 31st march 2008 and i got msg that ECS has cancelled. But I called your useless customer service and they have confirmed the cancellation. After that i started paying my bill through cash, but still Airtel is taking my money from my Visa card. this is cheating, you dont have the permission to steal my money. I really fed up with your customer service, its really a headache for a customer. If you didnt take any action soon, I will complain the same on our consumer court. I am not gonna wait any more, I just want to solve my problem. I have all the proofs with me.I went to airtel office in palarivattom and i got a request slip, in my customer confirmation slip, my request has taken by ASHA palarivattom. request no is 007598. What this female did about my complaint... I got hell lot of our feedback forms in my mobile, I am really not satisfied in your service . I also called your customer care and my reference number is[protected]. TAKE THIS AS A SERIOUS COMPLAINT AND DO THE NECESSARY ACTION SOON, OR ELSE I WILL COMPLAIN IN CONSUMER COURT AND I WILL CANCEL MY SIM AS WELL. MY PHONE NO IS [protected].

                  I would like to request u to please cancel my airtel postpaid connection the number is [protected].

                  Airtel Postpaid Connection — Headache at the cost of money

                  I was offerred an airtel postpaid connection through door visit to my residence. the executives were requesting like begger. one of the executives promised me all the services without any problem. I complained about no network coerage through out my space of work and residence very initially. the compony never paid attention to the same. finally after four months i surrenderred the service (meanwhile i paid each and every bill generated as and when requirred/asked). now the compny is pannic and again wish to continue the relation in the form of prepaid connection. The compny says with pride that it has got head office at Pune, and this the another reason why i preferred airtel connection then.....but now this is as stigma for pune....'airtel gaaliyo ka mail' lots of frustration...agony....anger...loost of temper.....

                  This is my humble request to the reader not to consider AIRTEL as reliable service provider. If you wish to go for headache at the cost of money, your valuable time, energy and really if you wish to test ur patience, go for airtel.

                    Dear sir,

                    I really had a very bad experience with Airtel in the past few days. I have two mobile No. of Airtel one is [protected] this is 8 year old and second is [protected] this is a new connection taken as on 31st July 2008 by depositing Rs. 500/- vide receipt No. 23412. Both the connection are in my name Ashwani Kumar Gupta with same billing address WZ-1768, First Floor, Multani Mohalla, Rani Bagh, Delhi-110034. This complaint is related to my new No.[protected] and my complaint is that Airtel closed my outgoing call at 4th time due to negative address verification. In this relation I had registered many complaints at customer care center on 6th Aug., 8th Aug., 11th Aug and finally as on today 13th August 2008 and inform to customer care executives of Airtel that nobody come at my billing address. Every time when I registered my complaints my outgoing reopened by their executive with the commitment that someone will come to my billing address for address verification within 48 hours, but every time nobody come at my billing address and every time without verification my outgoing is blocked by Airtel due to negative verification, and at present my outgoing is blocked..

                    Sir, I want to know, how is it possible that my address verification can be negative while nobody come to my address from airtel address verification. Now they says please resubmit your documents otherwise your number will be permanently disconnected. It is not possible for me because I am a handicapped man and can not walk properly. Now, I want to file a case against Airtel for the above issue, please give your valuable suggestion for the same. I hope you will take immediate action and provide me a proper justice.

                        I, Pakeeruraju Podugu am a customer of Airtel since long time and pretty satisfied with the services.But recently one issue frustrated me very much.
                        The number i am using is [protected] and was under Rs 999 plan for one year. It was supposed to get exhausted by the 16th of July, 2008.
                        I was unaware of the fact that it gets renewd automatically without our consent. I was actually waiting for the services to get disconnected so that I can actually migrate from a post-paid plan to a pre-paid plan as we are planning to relocate to Bangalore in another couple of months. So I have spoken to many of your customer care representatives regarding this matter for which I was not given any proper solution wether I would get the waiver or not.
                        Finally as I wanted to migrate to a pre-paid plan, I was adviced that I should clear up all my billed and unbilled amounts of Rs2170 which were made on 08/05/2008 and then claim for the waiver of Rs999 + Taxes through an SR number which was given to me (SR number[protected] by calling to the customer care. I am now in a pre-paid plan.
                        Now the problem is when I am trying to contact your customer care, they are unable to solve my query as it is a post paid issue.

                        So, I would like your team to kindly look into this issue as the amount I have paid is not small and please send the cheque of Rs 999 + taxes to the mailing address stated below as I still believe that Airtel services are the best.

                            Airtel / Mobile — Network Coverage and Non Deliverance

                            We have 30+ Airtel mobile connections and had also recently opted for the Airtel PRI line with assurance that we would migrate to Airtel for 40 more connections provided network coverage is OK.

                            Since the past month we have Airtel manager 's (who not only don't carry a business card, but also do not use official e-mail to send proposals) visiting us with a new assurance every week.

                            We had a choice of Reliance and Vodafone but on assurance went with Airtel. Now they are running rings around us.

                            AIRTEL/Mobile — I am not able to register myself on your site.

                            Airtel / Mobile — Wrong Billing due to Blackberry not deactivated despite request given 4 months back and outgoing calls barred on non payment

                            Dear Sir,

                            My name is Prasenjeet Bagchi. My Airtel Mobile number which I am complaining about is [protected].

                            I logged an online request on www.airtel.in in the area where requests are given, for deactivation of my Blackberry services on 18th November 08.

                            Despite my request getting logged on I was billed wrongly for Blackberry services for all months since then out of which I even paid those wrong billed amounts for the months of November and December.

                            On further complaining on customer service numbers there executive asked me not to pay from January till I get the corrected bill.

                            Now they have disconnected my outgoing facility from today.

                            Earlier also they had deactivated my number for more than a month in the month of July 08, without any reason, and after being paid all bills.

                            I want to take Mr. Sunil Mittal and their CEO to the consumer court for personal appearance.

                            Let me know how and what needs to be done in this regard.

                            I received a text message from "TA-BPQ" saying "you have 1 new bpq voicemail, call [protected]". when i called a guy said "I am from prizeline and your number has been selected for a guaranteed cash prize of $2500 cash that will be delivered at your home address just conform your number to collect your prize" than there were a couple of questions regarding number, network, personal details, etc...when the call ended i was amazed to see it was rs9.20/minute i was charged for that call. this is a serious and i need an immediate action against such kind of spams..i also want my miney back it is just impossible to believe that a network provider like airtel is unaware of such a fraud. i just want a strict action to regulate your services. in the absence of appropriate action i will have to discontinue from your services and inform about such an irresponsible behaviour to higher authorities.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am ANINDYA DASGUPTA customer of Airtel DataCard Postpaid Services.My Number is => [protected].
                              I have been using this service since month of May and I faced the billing problem twice.
                              I have already sent a mail to Nodal Officer(Airtel), they tried to solve my problem but it was unsatisfactory for me.
                              Actually on the month of July my datacard bill plan was Rs599 (with 1 GB free usages), I called to 121 and interacted to customer care executive Mr.Joydeep and then after Ms. Priyanka for changing my next month's bill plan, after asking he told me that for changing bill plan I have to request before 10 to 15 days then on that time I requested for changing my next month's(August) bill plan Rs.599 to Rs.350.
                              I told him again and again ( 5-6 times) that dont change my current (JULY) bill plan on that time he replied me that dont worry sir we will change your next month's bill plan which will activated from August (after 2nd of August) then I assured and I used according to my current bill plan which was 599 where free usages are 1GB.
                              I shocked when I got my July month's bill which is Rs.2211.63 .how can it be possible .
                              when enquired I was informed that my bill plan had changed on 17th of July which is Rs.350 and others are extras.isn't it absurd?
                              When I contacted Nodal Officer(Airtel) then they waived only Rs.800. is this a satisfactory response, I think no.
                              There is no any fault has happened from my side.Sorry to say that it is the fault of that customer care executive, Then why will I pay more ?? I will pay only that amount which have used and essential .
                              If I was responsible for this fault than obviously I would pay but it is not my fault and I am being harrashed every month.

                              I am request to you Sir plz try to understand my problem and sort-out as quickly as possible.

                              Airtel Datacard Service - Review

                              As per my advice, do not even think about Airtel Datacard service. Their service is pathetic both in terms of speed compared to other service provider and billing procedure. I had terrible experience and within 9 days of my connection, i had surrendered it. Their daily unbilled amount does not consider your data plan and free transfer limit resulted your service will be deactivated even when you have not reached your free limit.

                              Take example of their 350/- rental plan where 500 MB free data transfer is allowed and above that Rs. 5/- per MB. Now say you credit limit is set to Rs. 1200/- and you made a data transfer of 300 MB after the activation. Their system will take is as 300*5 = INR 1500 which means you are above your credit limit and your service will be deactivated until you make payment of INR 1500 or wait for your billing to generate. Their billing system will consider free transfer of 500 MB only at the time of bill generation. So you would never be able to utilize at least your free limit.

                              The same is true for Rs. 999 wala plan. You can utilize the internet data transfer till your credit limit and once you reach their credit limit as per their faulty unbilled system, you have to make the advance payment of entire amount to get it reactivated but in reality are required to pay only Rs. 999/- which will be considered only at the time of billing generation.

                              Their speed is even poor compared to BSNL/TataIndicom.

                              If any one is even considering going for this, i would request them to clarify the issue specifically related to billing system with their customer support executive before they go for this.
