The post-paid airtel mobile number of mine ([protected]) has been permanently disconnected effective from[protected] in this period of the covid-19 pandemic by airtel without any intimation to me. The due amount of rs. 2300/- (Rupees two thousand three hundred) was paid to airtel on 03/09/2020. Afterwhich, the requests are sent to airtel on their customer care numbers and e-mail [protected]@airtel.com from my registered e-mail id er. [protected]@gmail.com. Despite the payment, they are not activating my mobile and asking for additional payment and for visiting nearby airtel stores. As i have been here in agartala since february 2020, and couldn't return to kolkata because of my business activities here, and at the same time because of awkward situation due to various lockdown and other unanticipated measures due to the covid-19 pandemic. As i visited airtel store at the city centre, ground floor, agartala, on 04/09/2020 they intimated that they can't do anything on it. As a result, i lost my access to the bank account and other related access which were linked to this mobile number and facing irreparable damage to my business. Airtel must reconsider there steps and activate my mobile number without any further harassments immediately without any additional payment.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
