This is to bring to your notice that i had opted for an airtel xstream set top box connection after repeated calls from your sales team. For which, an installer named ajay pandey visited my place (Bandra west, mumbai - 400050). The engineer tried to mount the airtel dish on the same rod on which tata sky dish was previously mounted. But, unfortunately he couldn't assess the problem with the signal and cancelled the call. He even damaged our working tata sky dish while uninstalling it and kept it lying on the ground. He did not even bother to install it back in place. Due to repeated telephone calls to the concerned person he again sent the same installer. I gave him other options to mount the dish but he told me "mere time waste mat karo mere paas time nai hai bohot calls hai aapko chahiye to customer care me mera complain kardo".
There are several dished in and around our buildings that are perfectly working. The installer gave me a number of a person named "shankar". I requested shankar to send a "competent" engineer but he told me that he does not want to waste his time on us and will not send an engineer and spoke quite rudely. His number is +91 [protected].
Airtel is loosing business by not even trying to satisfy a customer. I am damn sure that after a few tries the signal could easily be received. The attitude of the engineer was also quite rude. I made a call to the service center regarding this but the person was not able to understand the problem. This was an extremely bad behavioral experience which i faced from airtel, never expected this from a company of such high stature. Airtel has lost my respect and of several other members of our society. Signals for videcon, tatasky, dish tv and all other dth operators are perfect and why there is only a problem with airtel. An airtel dish has also been installed in the opposite building of ours its working fine. #badbehaviourairtel #unsatisfactoryservice #rudeairtel
