My phone number has been recently port from JIO to Airtel on 27th July. Since then, I'm having major issues with the support and service of this company and executives.
I have received a PREPAID sim against a Postpaid Jio Sim. before paying for airtel connection I asked the agent if I'll be able to upgrade my sim to Postpaid as I need to travel to my hometown (Jammu, J&K) in 7 days where a prepaid sim from different states will NOT work. He said you'll be able to do that after 3 days of activation. The airtel app still shows the error message saying I can only upgrade my sim to postpaid after 90 days. I'm trying to call the agent since then and he has blocked my number.
I'm unable to contact Airtel through toll free number or application as they say that my number is invalid. So probably you guys have not even registered my number under airtel.
I'm using an Iphone 11, after inserting the airtel sim a message ''your carrier may charge for iMessage and facetime' pops up every 2 minutes, that too when i have opted for a 399 plan which includes calls and messages. for this as well, I'M NOT ABLE TO CONTACT AIRTEL SUPPORT.
I have submitted several requests on the app but no response or phone call yet. Please help me resolve this issue, the upgradation is very critical for me as I only use 1 number and I have travel to my hometown in 7 days, which will make my sim not working and will disrupt my official work.
Please help me resolve this asap.
