[Resolved]  Airtel — No support for isd activation

Hi,
I travelled to usa first time and found my airtel post paid number is not working which i am holding since last 3 years. I dropped a mail to customer care 2 times and requested them to help me asap as its difficult to survive in foreign country without a working mobile number. Its since 4 days i have approached them through mail but airtel has not even acknowledged my request.

I am not able to get internet, use my bank as airtel messages are also blocked and i am not getting any otp.

Please help me to get this sorted out asap. I am stuck, i have to do hotel bookings and i need otp for same.

I followed airtel team on call by spending my money in dollars and following them up while waiting in 10-15 min queue. I got response for mail after 4 days that also When I asked them it as help to solve asap as I was stuck in USA without any mobile number. Helpless service...first thing I will do after landing is to close al airtel numbers for me and my family. No use of keeping a service and pay them if they can not help or response when needed the most.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Same here. Stuck since 12th Jan. If you are able to resolve. Pls let me know HOW...And I shall do the same.

I got it resolved after following up with them many times, if you are in US ask them to get IR activated on your account and that will be149 rs rentel.
Thia is what I got from airtel team.

Kindly note that International Roaming (IR) Service Plan of rental Rs.149/- is a mandatory component to be activated to avail basic services (incoming/outgoing calls/SMS and data) on your mobile while traveling abroad.

Mine was activated...And now nothing at all... Called them..And they said they have reactivated it from their end.
Can't to anything about it till I personally visit an Airtel store!! It's hilarious
The most ridiculous and unsupportive service.
