Airtel — poor/disappointing customer service and unethical attitude of airtel office staff

With full confidence in the brand name airtel, i happyly applied for a new airtel prepaid sim connection on 02.02.2018 (Afternoon) at airtel office, sda complex, kasumti, shimla. But to my disappointment, i saw the casual attitude of the office staff towards customer was very annoying. After almost 40 min, they issued the new sim (No. [protected]) and i paid the recharge amount of rs. 230 to activate the sim. They conformed its activation thereon. But by evening the number was not yet activated and we approached the office. They said that there was some server problem and assured us that it will get activated by late evening. But for 3 days the number was not been activated despite our constant followup. Finally i went to the office on 05.02.2018 (Evening) and told them about my issue. There i was shocked to see their response, they were lease bother with my problem and stated give excuses. I got very disappointed with such poor customer service and decided to surrender the number. When i told them to do so, they had no regrets in letting go there customer just like that and very easily returned me rs. 230. So if this is how your customer service is then i must tell you that airtel is just for namesake. It don't have any brand credibility and customer means nothing to you. How one can let go its customer so easily when the fault is that of the company. This was my first ever interface with airtel and this is what i got - a pathetic staff attitude and such poor customer dealing. Totally unsatisfied with airtel service, atleast not expected from a name like airtel. Disappointed. Rishta jodnay say pahley hi tordh diya!!!
