I have opt for porting my Vodafone no I.e [protected], today at 10:07 am on 29th january 2022 I received a msg i.e β€œWe care for you! Your number [protected] is scheduled for port-in to Airtel-West Bengal tonight at 23:59:00 hrs. In case you are travelling, please keep the new SIM[protected]U ready and insert the same once your existing SIM displays no network. Thank you.”
I did the same but the new sim is showing no service.
I want this matter to resolve now as this is my business no n i cant bare the loss caused by such idiotic work

      My brother (Tamilvanan) )wants new sim card, so he approached Airtel showroom located in Kast theater next to Royal Enfield showroom.
      he paid 300 Rs & got new postpaid sim card, from showroom sale girl named Sathya told him after 4 Hours just put the sim into mobile later ull get a call from Our side and they will come for verification.

      My brother they what they instructed but he didnt get signal and call. he went to approach the store people regarding this issue but he was not treat him good.

      We are consumers not bond labors are slaves. She told u are staying in hotel so that activation got cancelled.

      i have a valid question before taking the application they need to verify the basic things right that too for post paid sim.

      after few arguments she told she will provide the amount as another prepaid sim. why i should buy Prepaid already he has one prepaid sim exiting,

      We asked refund but she refused to do that.

      we want the amount should get refund.

          I have ported my number from VI to Airtel. VI sim got disconnected but AIRTEL SIM is not activated; SIM is not even detected by cell phone. I have been calling customer care multiple times. Response is that SIM is already active.

            Respected Sir,
            last Month( Dt[protected] My sim card ([protected]) suddenly stopped working without any prior alert or information from airtel.
            As i am out of country and my wife was using my simcard. we reached to the airtel authorities for sudden stoppage of my sim card. they demanded a bunch of documents to issue and activate duplicate sim to my wife with all proofs and authority letter from J&K high court.
            we provided all documents to airtel officials via ( softcopy) as well as hard copy of all of them ( approx. 20documents). A sim card was handed over to my wife on 4th jan.2022 but still not activated. As per airtel officials they don't have my email address in their database (system) that is why they can't activate my sim card.
            Email is not ever demanded by them from me. email is not my identity / address proof. if it is not updated in their system this is not my fault. they are harassing me.
            Please help me, as this is very important sim of mine this number is registered with all my bank accounts and other institutions.
            i am chasing AIRTEL officials from last 40 days but they are helping me..

              It is with so much dissatisfaction, frustration and hopelessness I want to bring it to the notice of the concerned consumer complaint department that Airtel - claimed to be one of the most trusted providers of telecom services is nothing but a BURGLAR in the name of a brand.

              A brand that is now showing its true nature of monopoly to its customers in the name of terrible customer service, unnecessary charges and incompetent customer & billing support.

              Here's my case and complaint against a β€œdefault data pack activated by Airtel” against international roaming WITHOUT our consent and then forcefully pushing us to pay the charges WITHOUT having a conversation/disapproval/dissatisfaction and even threatening the discontinuation of the service with immediate effect!! (The number which we have carried for 10+ Years)

              Now if team airtel can check this, it would be prominent that a representative named Rafique (billing team) literally was so inconsiderate, disrespectful and insolent with my wife that I sitting by her side was shocked on how an employee can speak like this, especially when our complaint was not even heard and understood properly! Of course, a name that doesn't have a FACE! He was AIRTEL and all he wanted to say, hear, talk was that β€œwe owe money to airtel, pay for your services or will be disconnected. Period.”

              Anyways, we had hopes, so we tried 121 again, to have a meaningful conversation. (Screenshots and time spent on these calls are attached!)
              But to our surprise, other than call waiting, and non-meaningful repetitive discussions and fake promises, the needle on the case didn't move.

              With (Ishan and Taniya), supervisors we spoke to, we were finally given a consolation that till the time your complaint and ticket is not resolved you will not be charged late payment fees but I don't think, automation is helping brands like Airtel here! They never look back!

              While the regular bill was paid and disputed amount was on hold, the new bill has been charged with late payment fees (bill attached!) despite of being told that the case is open.

              I sincerely request the concerned parties to look into the case and suggest a way forward here.

              Kindly note:
              We have paid the bills and cleared the unnecessary charges/fees added by Airtel because there is no hope of resolution and due to monopoly and threats, we had to pay!! As we cannot afford to lose the number.
              Case is: Airtel charged us international roaming fees, without our consent of getting any such service activated, over and above - applied a default pack everyday, again without our consent.

              As far as we understand even TRAI guidelines requested all service providers to inform consumers as soon as international mobile roaming is activated? Article from Sep 2020 (https://www.livemint.com/industry/telecom/trai-asks-telcos-to-keep-internationa...⇄

              Here’s the funny argument by the team. So my other number 8826*****7, (again airtel!) was with me switched on all the time - same travel, same location, same duration but was not charged with these fees as the team said β€œthe other number did not get a latch to a network, hence charges didn't apply, and the latching is a random process. It may or may not happen to a mobile number!”

              Really??

              With more than 7+ Airtel services and products being used by us, we truly wish to Boycott Airtel and its services and move to a better service provider.

                I am unable to receive call after switched from pre-paid to postpaid, when someone dialing my number its shows invalid, i complaint many times to customer care but problem was not resolved ...

                  Urgent airtel xtreme is a big tension [protected]
                  On 29th Dec, 2021 i have applied for airtel xtreme plan. By giving 590 online as installation charges which will be recvd me as a cash back in next 6 months.with 1 month free of any speed plan plus no rental bill for my d2h connection for lifetime..nor any other hidden cost with no lockin period.
                  Second month in case, i want to downgrade my plan from 799 to 499...it can easily happen by calling at customer care or by airtel thanks app..(these are words and terms n conditions informed by your sales person- Mr. Vipin [protected] ( same for this we spoke over call at 121 and discussed everything in conference with Mr. Vipin & customer care team member serial request no.[protected] and mr. Vipin promised me and customer care team agreed upon same as in case of any wrong commitments by him, he will either refund my 590 or in case, next month, koi bhi extra bill aata hai ( as if i want to downgrade my plan or d2h rental, he will bear those charges ) hope everything clears to your team...you can check call recording of 29th dec 2021 at 4.16pm with customer care team with mr vipin in conference call..( screenshot of call made)

                  So i wont bear any hidden amount... i will pay only for that thing which mr. Vipin told me while selling xtreme broadband to me.

                  Now again on 28th Jan 2022, when i checked my airtel thanks app, i am shocked to see that 186.60 rs I need to pay by 5th Feb.. for what these charges are levied on me..?

                  I won't pay any extra amount..wrong info provided by airtel for selling airtel xtream plan..why will I bear losses? Airtel is always sell plan by giving wrong info..

                  Mr vipin now not picking my call ...but at the time of selling, he told me..he will their for each n everything...

                  Kindly correct my bill details..I only Pay internet charges jo mei use karungi..else I don't want to continue with airtel internet nor airtel d2h(discontinue kardiya tha Maine reason was again wrong info.n plan rental was more...)

                      I have asked for deactivation request of my airtel connection from Nov 10, 2021 but airtel customer care said they are facing backend issue as some migration is happening and they cannot deactivate my connection against I kept calling them every 2 days but no resolution. On 17th they finally raised a deactivation request and now they are charging me for those 7 days.
                      I even asked them proof of acknowledgement everytime I called them but sadly they don't give any but still I have mailed them on 14th to keep it as a proof of request of deactivation.
                      I spoke multiple times to customer care and asked explained them regarding this they also assured I need not pay bill and they have raised a request for clearing the bill.
                      It's 3 months now and still the bill of 70rs is being showed as pending. Ki dly help and take strict action against them for not giving importance to customers.

                        I use Airtel broadband with the plan of 499Rs for speed of 40Mbps/month.
                        The internet has been very slow, around 1 Mbps from past week and calling customer care is of no help.
                        We called 2 days back and the woman said there's construction going on which is causing the issue, yet it gets fixed the second they cut the call and then next few hours later the issue comes back. Its common sense that if there is physical issue it needs to be fixed physically. This means she lied and just wanted to get over the call. We told them to send technician and the guy just called and said he fixed without even checking it.
                        Today on 28Jan we called again and the guy said they see the speed of 46Mbps being sent from there means there is an area issue and they will fix it asap. We called our family friend, they live in the next apartment and they said their speed is fine.
                        We called the customer care again. Another guy picked and said that there has been an issue going on and that it will be fixed by evening 4 pm. And he refused to register a complaint.
                        EVERYTIME WE CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE, THEY CHANGE THE REASON FOR SUCH POOR QUALITY.
                        Is this a scheme for us to get higher value pack? Is this how Airtel scams people now? By giving poor service yet the billing is always on time.

                            I live KPHB 9th phase, Venkataramana colony, Hyderabad and from last 9 days we have an network issue in Airtel network by which we could not use mobile data and making, receiving calls have become an huge issue.
                            My entire apartment has this issue and am forced to use WIFI calling to make or receive calls which is draining my WIFI data. I have complained numerous time through their app and customer care. They are giving such a lazy answer as they will resolve the issue by 10 days and all that crap. This has been 9 days already and we should wait for another week it seems according to them which is so frustrating as as an typical network outage, they are taking 2 weeks to resolve. They did not even bothered to call me and explain what the issue is as when I go to next colony road, network is working fine.
                            It is a complete lack of accountability as we should loose 14 days validity in our recharge amount and use nothing but WIFI calling. All our works are getting disturbed due to this network outage and they don't seem to care.

                              Raised this to airtel customer care through email on 25th that from my [protected], i am not able to make or take call as voice get silent in between for 8-10 seconds on regular interval, so far there is no solution provided, despite in copied nodal and appellate in my email. they provided reference number CNWDV3DEL[protected].

                              i have share my alternative number [protected] with them as well for further communication.

                              I am working from home and its been a nightmare for me to get connected to my team in last 3-4 days, looks like i am cut of the world.

                                Since I ported my Vodafone idea number to Airtel on 24 Jan 2022 and they confirm that it being port on 27 January 2022 on 11.06pm on that time when i insert a new Airtel sim they continuously display no network so tell me what was my fault and why I have to pay it

                                  I have requested for a reactivation of my BB and Fixed line number [protected] and account no.[protected] I have a Ticket ID [protected], however still no reaponse from Airtel team. Activation takes only 1 day and why is reactivation takes longer then new connections.

                                  Not happy with the service.

                                        I am done my airtel recharge (Rs1498) through SBI Yono (mobile banking) on 24/11/2021 @ 10.30 pm.
                                        recharge amount was debited from my SBI account (Reference No: UHC 1536318) but in the airtel side they said amount was not received. again I write mail to SBI bank, they said transection was successfully done so please check with airtel .
                                        This Problem was not resolved by airtel for Past two months. I need Refund, so kindly take action & resolve the issue as soon as Possible.
