A furniture product has been ordered on 24th May from Amazon and I have cancelled it immediately. However, it did not get reflected in my amazon app, post which I contacted customer service to get it cancelled. After this, I did not receive my refund. When I contacted customer service again regarding my refund, I was informed that the product needs to get dispatched in order to cancel it. It has been 2 months and the product has not been shipped yet! I have called the customer service over 10 times to follow up on this issue and there has been no progress on the resolution of the issue. All I get to hear is that thy have escalated the issue and it would take 3-5 working days. I would follow up after 5 working days and they would escalate the issue again for 3-5 more working days. It has been 2 months now with this process!
I have contacted the senior agent one week ago and I received an e-mail saying that the dispatch of the product has been escalated and it will get shipped by 30th June, however today is 4th July and it has not been dispatched yet, which means the product did not get cancelled yet.
How can a product not be dispatched for 2 months when the product promised to get delivered in 5 working days?
I am not sure how many more months is it going to take for this issue to be resolved and when am I going to get my money back?
