I had ordered 2 sarees for 800 on 29th january 2018 with 2 day delivery (Prime customer), with delivery on 30th january 2018. I had ordered it for my friend to present the saree to near by temple on midnight of december 31. I gave her the surety on trusting amazon as a prime customer.
On 30 january by 2 pm i got a message "out for delivery", i am satisfied and continued my works.
But by 5pm, i got a message that customer cant be reached, will be delivered in next attempt. When i try to contact delivery agent number it gets auto disconnect on first ring.
I called 3 times for customer care to get in touch for my product, each said they cant get in touch with person but assured product will be delivered on next day.
No attempt had been made on next day and on jan 01 morning 10:30 am the agent called me to get my location. I just returned the product which is of no use now.
All i got was a bad reputation from my friend and her family for trusting amazon. From amazon i get an apology by stating it wont happen again.
Every courier carrers have their own customer care number to contact the respective hub. But for amazon there is no way to contact the hub or any of its representatives in any emergency.
Amazon made this new year start with a big disappointment and bed reputation.
Never trust amazon in emergency delivery needs
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
