Summary of the incidents is as mentioned below:
1. I ordered mobile from amazon.in and on website displayed guaranteed delivery by tomorrow 23rd dec, 2018. Hence, i paid for amount 100/- extra for delivery so that it reaches to me on sunday 23rd dec. As soon i paid i got message but it was for delivery on 24th dec, 2018.
2. When i checked status on 23rd dec, 2018 midnight on app then it showed arriving today, it meant will arrive on 23rd only.
3. I called customer care and after discussions with 2 executives got response will definitely get my package on 24th dec.
4. Today on 24th dec, i got message around 8:30am with details of delivery executive. I called him around 8:40am and got revert that his bike got faulty so would not be able to deliver in day time and will get it delivered in evening. I told him that i need it today only.
5. Later to confirm, i tried calling many times but everytime ivr had not accepted pin delivered to me on message, and got error message to dial correct pin.
6. Luckily around 12:46pm amazon's ivr accepted same pin and call got connected to delivery agent, wherein he said his duty hours got completed and he has returned the package to ats, and said that will get my package through another agent by evening.
7. Later at 2:16pm, i got a message that we could not deliver your product... As we could not contact you on the phone. Reattempt on next working day. Though they did not called me even once and i called them.
8. I called customer care to know, some male executive answered, i dont remember name (Very unprofessional he was, and said kal mil jayega apko courier.)
9. Then i called again and made executive to escalate call to tl, then call transferred to tl (Both were assuring for delivery by tomorrow morning and can try for delivery today, i even said that i myself can go and pick from your transport services, but no one supported to give address or to guide, executive directly said google it you will get the address.
10. Later tm came on call and he too first saying will deliver today and then in mid came on that will be delivered tomorrow, then again switched when i stretched that day has not passed so it will be done today, managers have access to escalation mails so i am mailing your concern, but no reference number was provided.
All in all, failure to fulfill brand promise.
11. Then same day at 8:37 pm, got courier from delivery agent and i was happy that at last amazon fulfilled promise and delivered. But, i forgot that here too blunder can be done, now amazon shifted focus to delivery only but not at correct product delivery.
I got some mobile company named kechaoda rather my ordered product vivo v11 pro supernova red.
I called customer care again and executive transferred my call to specialist team and talked to executive, now he gave more shock that wait for 5 business days then will get revert from delivery team and will deliever you correct product, told me to wait till 1st jan, 2019, even on saying to cancel this he declined request. May be he has done as protocols of your company but here where is customers fault??? Is this my fault that i trusted amazon brand and ordered mobile from their site.
Mailed to nodal and grievance officers too, but they too have response tat of 3 days.
Its a total harassment.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
