I have bought one redmi 2 from amazon on 15th apr 2015. It was having warranty till 15th apr 2016.
In december the product went dead but as i was outside india when i returned in february as it was under warranty i checked for the invoice (As you know amazon provides the invoice online) from my order details. I took the printed invoice to the service center and there i got to know that the imei number mentioned in the invoice is not matching with the product.
Then right away i have raised a complaint with the service center and then the story continues as it is
I have initiated this request on 10-feb-2016 by calling customer care.
They asked me to provide the correct imei details and i have replied in the mail.
Later i got an email mentioning to contact the seller directly for invoice.
So i did follow the process and contacted the seller on 11-feb-16.
Seller replied on 19-feb-16, saying they cant provide a revised invoice only amazon can provide that.
20-feb-16, amazon customer care confirmed they will provide the revised invoice as the order was amazon fulfilled.
On 23-feb-16 again i have been told i have to wait for 4 more working days
I called on 29-feb-16, asked to wait for 24 hours
Called again on 2-mar-16, asked to wait for 24 - 48 hours.
4-mar-16, asked to wait for 4 days over chat (Akash)
9-mar-16, asked to wait for 24 hours
9-mar-16, called, he told to wait for 24 hours(Milan)
And in the chat it was told to wait till 14th mar
When i contacted on 14th mar, i was being told complaint has been raised for this issue and wait (Spoke with abhishek)
Called again on 22nd march, they told they have escalated it to the higher level.
Contacted again on 2nd apr, they told they have escalated it to the higher level.
Contacted on 8th apr, they told they have escalated it to the higher level.
Contacted again on 15th apr (The day my warranty was expiring), they told they have escalated it to the higher level and they will definitely help in alternative ways.
Contacted on 18th apr, they told as the warranty is expired they cant do anything.
This is how the service from a global organization which advertises everyday in social network and tv claiming they are the best customer service provider.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Exactly same.
I am taking legal action against them.
Is your problem resolved finally ?
If yes then how ?
I am still hoping for resolution.
