On 23rd March the order was placed, for VIVO V23 phone

On 29th March we received the phone in shabby condition

the same was notified to the Amazon customer Care who approved Pick up of the phone,
The pick up was approved for 31st May but the agent came home on the 30th and picked up the phone, After 2 hours when the status of pick-up was not updated on the app, we spoke to Amazon customer care who said it will be updated in 5 hours or so
Then I spoke to amazon again on the 1st June, regarding the same issue but the tracker was not updated and received an Email saying "we will inquire about it and get back in 5 working days "
After a few days the Same delivery boy came and gave us the same phone Back And I had to raise the return request once again
This time the pick up was again done, but the status was still not updated and after complaining on 10th June, I received the mail stating:
"pick up was done and status will be approved in 4 ours or before 9 pm"
The customer care executive assured me that the problem would be resolved and this time the phone would not be returned,
Till today the phone has not been received back but after constant follow-up with the customer team The issue was escalated to the leadership team who said they would inquire and respond and they said: “the phone is not with us and we can’t help further”
When I told them I will speak to my lawyer can you connect me to the legal department I received an email on june 21 stating: "your refund has been processed and will reflect in your bank in 3-5 business days"
And after waiting for the refund for more than 2 weeks (now that the entire thing is over 40 days old) the team is again saying that "we won’t be able to help you as the phone is not with us",
After the mail from Mr. Pradip, none of the guys sent me the call notes on mail only false assurances were made and everyone agreed that they will send me a copy of the conversation, but it looks like they didn’t send any mails,
I have asked them to connect me to the delivery/pick-up agent as I am pretty sure that the same guy
delivered the phone on 29th May
then picked it up on 30th May,
Again deliver the phone,
And pick it up again on June 10th
But they just keep saying that the guy never picked Up the Phone from the delivery address with no details as to what happened during the pick up
This has become a traumatic experience after years of trust and business with Amazon
The Comapny has neither given the phone nor the money back and a lot of time has been wasted during working hours over this issue.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
