This is with reference to my American Express credit Card vide ref no xx22xxxxxxx02 I wish to share that after full payment of bill amex had chared extra wrong billing Rs 1976/- after that i have sent the many emails and IVR for reversal the said amount but i have not got any satisfactory response from his side after assuring his team i had paid the same amount due to system default of american express chaging extra amount on every month basis while i had paid the full amount on before due date therefore request you to please revese the same my unused charged amount.details is as attached alongwith

Due to repeating the same issues I am paying the extra your wrong charged amount ei. 1976/- on basis for reversal as assured by amex team via IVR Call. Therefore, request you to please see the said bill details form 1st charging month to till date where amex are charging after paid the completely billed amount.

Request you to please reverse the same on urgent basis otherwise will take a legal action for mentally harassment and my losses,

      It is more than 6 months I have closed my card and reason for closure was inappropriate late fees and finance charges that were under dispute. The company delayed a lot to reverse the charges and kept on applying late fees and finance charges on my card. I wrote multiple emails to them and sought revert but it was unanswered. Suddenly company is sending collection agents to my residence and asking for payment that is not due. I have explained...

      Hi there,
      I am here to complaint about the Human Resource Kamal Tiwari at American Express. My first interview was taken by him on telephone in the month of November when i applied for AmEx through a consultant. He rejected me giving the feedback that my communication skills were not upto the mark, whereas on the same call after the interview he told me that he has taken the interview in advance and there is no hiring in any process in AmEx and asked me if I am comfortable for joining in the last of December. However, he ended rejecting me.
      I again applied for AmEx after working on myself on 14th December 2020 via reference of my friend working in AmEx, on the next day I received a call from Kamal and he asked me that is I am the same person who had an interview last month, I told him that it is me. He asked me that if I am comfortable in working in voice or non voice work, I told him that I am comfortable with both. He ended the call without asking or saying any other thing and said that the recruitment HR will keep me updated.
      Again I recieved the same feedback that he rejected me on the basis of communication skills. The problem is not rejection, the problem is that he judged me without even listening or examining.
      I am only requesting that this should be taken care of because people like me who have enthusiasm to work in American Express loose there belief in the company when come across these kind of people.

        I had joined a corporate where there was a policy to apply for Amex Card. It's been 2+ months that I had applied, however, American Express sends all one way communication through emails and phone calls. At one end, they are saying, I have received my card (which I did not), at the other end, BlueDart courier is sending an SMS saying, they could not deliver the card as no one was there. I got another call from Amex representative that no one was there in the specified address. Firstly, there is always a security personnel to whom they can deliver, or the least is they (courier person) are supposed to call me while delivering it. Meanwhile, I received another call from Amex representative who was explaining me the product features, although I said, I have not yet received the card, for which he said I would receive it in 4 working days.

        And when I wrote an email to Amex, they did not reply to the said email, however, I got a separate email in a new thread citing the below:

        "Dear Applicant,

        Greetings for the day !

        Thank you for applying for an American Express® Card. We have received your application. However we will not be able to process your application due to our internal policies. You will receive a letter with the detailed reason on the address provided in your application.

        Thanks & Regards,
        American Express
        American Express made the following annotations"

        Am wondering if they even want any clients at all. The process to track the application is just crazy!

          Air India Express is doing these kind of fraudulence in returning the amount after ticket cancellation.. Its been more than 2 months and I have not received any proper response from their side, everytime the customer care executive gives some email id and delays this process by one week. today again they are doing the same.

            I cancelled my Amx Platinum Travel card and after some time, placed a request to reinstate. The executive told me it is possible with some charges and some executive will call me in 2 days. I never received any call.
            On my next call to check with them, they suggested me to wait for some time as new offers will be out soon and no point in paying the membership fee now on the same card reinstatement.
            Sure, there were offers and I reapplied. The executive called me and said he needs to courier the card but needs an email confirmation for KYC purposes from my official ID as they already have my documents (I am their customer for other two cards - Gold Charge and Rewards as well). I replied to his email as approved. Since then there has been no response from them despite replying to his email asking about it. I also filled in their feedback form that they ask on their website with these details but no response. Surely, Amex is going downhill in terms of customer service where they were once exemplary and quoted as Apple. Now, I do not wish to apply anymore with this company and will only keep my Corporate Card.

              I hold american express platinum reserve credit card [protected]. I requested to provide the moratorium facilities, but initially been told that they cannot enroll me because i delayed my feb payment by few days (Paid on 12th march). Technically, when the moratorium started, i was having no defaults in this account. The whole essence of the moratorium itself is to help the people financially strained during this pandemic situation. But, after i emailed them, i stopped getting the collection calls from them so thought they have accepted the moratorium.

              But, when i checked my credit report a week back, i realized that they were continued to report the payment as default which brought my score more than 200 point below. When i reported this again to them to correct it, they stand by the same answer that their rules doesn't allow them to enroll me in moratorium since my feb payment paid of with a delay.

              Though the moratorium was announced only in the last week of march, my financial struggles kicked in february itself, so i had struggle arranging the payment on time, but i still thrived to settle that by 12th march. When the moratorium facility was announced, my account was up-to-date with this card, still they blatantly denied to uphold the spirit of the moratorium program announced by the indian government.

              While i already struggle to meet the ends with all the financial burdens, this american company not providing the relief mandated by the indian government is literally killing me and killing my credit score. I plead for your support to make this company correct their stance to consider the last 6 months as moratorium for me and get the credit score fixed accordingly.

                Date of incident : on going since 16th january 2019

                I had called american express in september 2019 and followed the right set of procedure to cancel my card because i was not ok with the membership fee
                I was told to discard the card and the card has been disabled since october 2019.

                American express when ahead and added a charge on my card on 16th january 2020 because they reversed the fee twice.
                This fee is no where visible in my statements
                This was applied as american express, as they failed to tally my account properly before closure
                I had ensured to clear all my pending charges reflecting on the account before card disposal

                Since then they have been harassing me and putting latepayment on this card for the last 5 months
                They have blocked all my personal card to see or download my statements

                Till date there is no explanation or accountability for their mistake on their side where they have been applying wrong credits or bad charges to my account since january
                This card status is cancelled fyi even as they go about applying these charges
                Please help

                Desirable resolution: they are spoiling my credit score and have harassed me for the last 5 months with various people calling to clear the credit but no body in amerian express taking ownership of their mistake. I should not be accountable for their tally mistakes and be mentally harassed with them putting charges left right center on a cancelled card

                American express still has no answer for the charges they need to pay the customer for faulting my CIBIL scores unethically. Matter remains unresolved

                America express agents failed to provide proper justification why the charges are applied 4 months after card cancellation and disposal. I kept asking statements none which were provided and late payments being slapped on my account. They failed in their systems and procedures for account closure.

                This was their fault charges to which were being forced on me
                No accountability for the hours and hours I wasted on call and the trauma they caused me because they did not do their job right

                I simply ask one question when American Express does not hesitate in putting late payment charges, lets say if 1 month I failed to clear my dues. Would they have accepted a simply sorry on my behalf to clear my dues and let go ?If not why should I for this lapse on their entire system as a whole

                What is the charge American Express needs to pay for the policies, procedures, system problems on their side and all their agent which made me false promises for months failed to keep on recorded lines.
                Removing those charges is not a compensation because you had no right to apply them in a first place as the account was closed for 4 months. You are still fixing your own system if you are removing the charges, you are still not coming to the point, what right did you have to torture me the way you did for months altogether and what is the charge American Express will pay the customer for the same

                  I am writing this email and I am so much frustrated with you guys and the Amex customer support mean no support. I was very much frustrated with my one bill I have already informed the person to block my cards and my account in Feb 2020 and I already blocked my primary card on last year Oct-Nov 2019. But you guys are saying the transaction has been happening after 4 months of blocking the card and my secondary card in march 2020 Which is totally not true. I had a conversation with Rajshree once and she promised me that I will get the resolution within two days, but no response no call back from anyone. Every time you guys promised me for a call back by a manager or some senior person, but no response no call back I received from any. Every time you guys doing fake promises, but not taking customer seriously. I have used the Amex card for more than a year and paid my huge bills on time without any delay of a single min. and you guys not believing me because of this small amount bill. Two times before also I faced the fraud issue because of which I blocked my primary card and as per your customer support agent I destroy that card on the same day. I want to know how it is possible that the blocked card can be used again without unblocked request Is this is the security you guys promised to the customer.
                  I am calling you guys again and again, but there is no ownership I saw from your side now, please don't make the excuse of this Covid-19 in front of me because it was two months passed away and if you guys not able to give resolution in two months that means it's totally waste to open this bank. Sorry to say, but I am really so much frustrated now, below are the reference number for each call. Now I will not make any call to anyone for any reason and I will not going to pay that bill also.                     My october credit card bill was due by 7th oct which i duly paid on the 7th oct. Bank account shows debit on 7th oct. There is also sms of debit on the same date. Despite this amex posted the payment on 11th oct and assessed a late charge and interest on my bill next month.

                    I shared all the proof with amex cs showing timely payment and still they refused to reverse the fees.in this era of digital payments where it takes few seconds to credit payments, amex is using fraudulent ways to make money by posting payments 4 days after actual payment date

                      I applied for american express credit card on 28 october 2019 in chennai office reference no [protected]inr and the same was approved and dispatched by your office through blue dart courier awb # [protected]. That consignment was not delivered to me by that courier. I informed customer care of american express banking. But all in vein. There is a deficiency in their service. There is a lot of misuse and fraud by receiving other man’s credit cards. I am under mental agony and am very much disturbed by this.

                      I have settled my Amex credit card but still it is reflecting in my CIBIL Score. It shows less Cibil score of mine due to incomplete NOC from Amex credit card department. My Amex credit was settled on 18/03/2019. Amex had not updated my NOC for Cibil score updation.

                        This is in regard of false commitment at the time of details about platinum travel card by amex. The sale rep of amex (Mr piyush) explained me benefits offered by the company of the card named plantinum travel card.in this mr piyush explained that in the special scheme for defence personnel this card would be given free of cost without any charges and first year annual fee would also be waived off. From the second year the customer need to spend rs 1, 50, 000/- in one bill year to get the next year annual fee waived off and this waiver would not be against the points earned against a spent of rs 1, 50, 000. Along with this he also mentioned that 5000 bonus point would also be credited after first rs10, 000 spent within 90 days. However when i called up customer care to activate my card i enquired about the similar offers applicable on my card or not, to my surprise i found that the no such waiver of fee on spent of 1, 50, 000 would be applicable from second year. Only first year fee waiver has been processed for my card. Additionally it was informed to me by the customer care representative that from second year i need to spend 4, 00, 000/- which would earn me 10, 000 bonus points and those points shall be used (In lieu of) against waiver of annual fee from second year. Towards this when i enquires from the sale rep mr piyush, he was quite confident that the faculties which he told me the first time did exists and that the customer care might not be aware about such promotions. On rechecking and lodging a complaint on same through email to customer care head what i received was an apology call from mr piyush saying there is no such scheme for waiver of annual from 2nd year. He further said that i can discontinue the services given. The customer care team also held their hands up in helping me out saying no such privilege can be given. The second surprise which i got in respect of this card was about the additional bonus points that i was supposed to receive on spent of 10, 000 within 90 days. On enquiring about this issue it was told that this additional bonus on spent of 10, 000 is for people who apply through normal fee charges and since i was given free of cost card therefore i will
                        Get these bonus points after spend of 30, 000 in 90days.
                        This really makes me wonder the credibility and reliability of such a big name american express (Amex)
                        How is a customer supposed to rely on the commitments spoken about while selling any product. All this seems to be just a number adding scam

                          The bank issued me a accidental policy which premium was around rs 11, 000/- e but my name was wrongly printed which was conferred me a long time i. E. Around three months later in mar 2019.

                          I refused to accept the same as they did not communicate the same for a period of three months as my family would not get the claim benefit due to non matching of my particulars.

                          In spite of m repeated objection/rejection they came to a conclusion to settle up my case with a offer letter to pay an amount of rs 2689/- each of three equal installments 19 jan, 19 feb & 19 mar 2019 which i have already paid in due course of time vide three sbi chq no 854032, 854033 & 854034 respectively.

                          I have contacted so many occasions for the same cause but they did not deliver noc against my above mentioned account so fa i think deliberately.

                          Please help me to find a noc from the a/m bank..

                            Due to severe financial crisis i am not able to pay the amount. Please allow me to settle the amount by waiving interest and other penal charges also adjust my minimum payment towards the dues. I am in huge debt and facing harrasment from many financial organizations and had came into depression. This is due to some fraud done by a person named ajay jain r/o -3/18 model town phase 3 delhi who has evaded from his house after doing serious frauds with me and other people. I have left with no house, even my wife and daughter had left me and filed for a divorce. Please understand my situation and allow me to settle the account.

                              My credit worthiness, I believe, is near perfect.

                              I barely ever touch my available credit limits.

                              I always pay my monthly credit card outstanding amounts in full.

                              I am debt free.

                              Yet, I don't have a particularly great score (758 on CIBIL).

                              My complaint is with American Express. They believe and act like they provide a great service...but they don't. They hire well speaking Agents who are always professional.

                              However, if the systems and process don't connect with the well meaning agents, things fall apart.

                              In my case, I have had 3 instances where I have been delayed in making payments (always the full amount). EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS. Surprisingly, I seem to make payments with every other credit card I own. But it is a different experience with AMEX!!!

                              Why??? B/c I never get statements from them. They claim to send it to my email ID...but I never get it!! Admittedly, they send SMS'. But honestly, I don't check SMS'. The world is moving on! I check emails. Other banks reliably send their emails. I simply don't seem to connect with AMEX

                              Of course I have spoken to CUstomer Service several times on this. But to no avail.

                              I stopped using AMEX out of protest (Rs. 2-3 lacs spend per month...and paid in full). Then..they charged me ANnual Fee...but I ddidn't get a statement.

                              BANG!!! My payment is late and this is reflected in my credit history.

                              I absolutely hate AMEX. I have nothing but bad things to say about them to all my colleagues. This from a person who has loyally and continually had one since 1993 (starting in the US)

                              I am the CEO of a Company here in India...and we have Corporate Cards with AMEX. I am in protest going to shut them down and switch to another Bank. Not that my business going to affect them...but I don't care!!!

                              I can't accept a company that talks "good customer service" but is actually very bad at it. I can't accept Customer Service that doesn't link technology and processes (critical components of modern service) effectively with the Agents that actually are providing the service.

                              I can't in good faith recommend AMEX to any one. I can't in good faith give AMEX the benefit of doubt and continue to use them.

                                Complaint against your delivery boy how has saying me what is your states affter 10-15 days going but not resolved this complaint this is your service very poor service and your delivery boy saying i m local in this area what i m understand really i m really very worried and i m many time facing my delivery not receive many time complaint but finally i m not

                                Ohh wrongly mark AMEX I don't no how to delete is complaint but I have no issues with American express

                                  Dear sir,

                                  I have done full payment including interest, late payment charge to american express (Gold card) company... My payment is some delay in january month 2019 due to some medical emergency..
                                  So i have done some part of payment in january month... Company blocked my card on temporary base & then completed full payment including interst & late payment charge in march 2019 before 90 days... Before full payment i talked in coustomer care of american express..& they promised me to reactive my card immediately after full payment but after full payment they still don't activate my card & they cheated me...& said your card is now permanently cancelled... I want to file case against this fraud company...
                                  They tried to spoil my image & financial status. Pls register my complain & take a strict action & big fine on this company...

                                    One of your agent is calling again and again and when i showed him no interest for the further formalities of getting a card from amex, then again he calls me thrice in a day and asking for the address that where should i come and when can we meet. Its very unethical and kindly look into this.
