AO Smiths is not providing service to my request number 14671125 From past 8 days, I been calling them, sent email to customer services and grievance mail I’d. But the only response I got is as follows. Even after paying for AMC, these guys are not providing service.

    Dear Authorized people of Aosmith,

    Subject: Request#14672325 & 14700449 respectively

    We purchased AO smith on 25june'2020 and our filters were not working properly and there is a physical damage for external candle setup.

    My mom and dad tried reaching local service guys by named Sai and Yaswanth for the same in the month of may'2021 for which no one attended the complaint till now and got a response if we are willing to bare cost of local spares they would come and fix it else it would take min 6 months to get the product as Ao smith company is closing and so no spared are available. My mom and dad doesn't know how to call customer care and make a complaint and now for this i came from a different place to my hometown and raised a complaint and it's mentioned below.

    No one called for the request#14672325 till now from 10:59pm 27july'21 till 11:42am on 30july'21 and surprisingly your service representative SAI closed the ticket that I'm not responding to calls, it's so sarcastic situation i have ever gone thru. And Now I raised a request again #14700449 And i should wait for another 48 hours for which this SAI will close it again with a reason not responding and you guys will believe it.

    SAI (mobile#[protected]) responded to my first call once and said if I would like to go with other company/local spare parts he will come for quick service else they will Delay itseems. I said i need only original spares and then immediately he disconnected to my call and didn't respond to me till now. I called more than 20-30 times I these three days.

    YASWANTH (boss to sai/india head, that's what he said to me) mobile#[protected] called me @9pm IST (He said they have permissions toc call the customer 24/7) on 28july'21 and informed me that he got the spare from chennai and would fix it early hours 29july'21 but post that he never responded to my calls. I called him and texted him requesting to come and fix it but no use till now @11:42am on 30july'21.

    These guys are literally playing with elderly people's emotions and testing our patience. We did a mistake in purchasing ao smith and would never ever purchase or refer anyone to do so.

    Our experience with ao smith is/was pathetic.

    While selling, you guys beg us but when service you make us beg. Great company norms.

    Shame on the founders of ao smith or to the Indian management.

    Better have some shame and give worth full promises not just selling. Share your escalation/manager numbers when needed, just don’t hide them. This Guntur team is worst enough and I want some responsible person from ai smith to take disciplinary actions against Yaswanth and Sai who misbehaved with my father.

    Will you agree if the same happens to your father/monther? If not, treat this as an escalation and let me know with an update on how you trained/requested your so called above mentioned employees.

      The part fixed by the authorised technician is faulty. The water from my X8 water purifies is not filling the tank but continuously flushing out all the water to the drain. Horrible service provided and horrible response to service request to customers who have paid and taken an AMC. Very very dissapointed with AO smith service.

        To the above subject today after AO smith guy came home for periodical Maintances of Water Purifier Z9 Model under AMC … has spoilt the Machine an the Water Purifier Started Leaking from all over the Body … an then he empty’s the water purifier an says something went loose he has tightened it now it will not leak … thus he left my home in few minutes water started over flowing again then I stayed calling the same number from where I received the call but all went in vain as he didn’t answer the call… few minutes later I gave complaint to AO Smith Call Center they gave me a Complaint No.14674125 /14253115 An then the Previous Person called me saying I will send some one to come n check please provide me closure code to close the complaint … I found something fishy didn’t give him the code an told him to come an attend the problem an then I shall give the code … the above details was given to AO Smith Customer Care again they then Provided Me with the Cell No.. Mr. Shakerappa ( Area Service Manger) +[protected] … the same time I dialled his Number he responded an was also aware of the issue… that was great about AO Smith for that fastest Response … he said someone will come an sought out the issue ASAP… an after sometime I got a call from another vendor of AO Smith he says me that you didn’t pay me AMC charges first you send me all the details then I will come over I one again called up AO Smith call Center this again they said me that my AMC is there an Valid till 6 OCT 2021… once again I called the service guy an told him that my AMC is still active an I have paid .. but he refused an said me to share the details of bank an the person whom I have paid … 😇 then I started thank god I had paid the amount from my account so could find the details then took the screenshot an shared with the person again then he says me to tell the guys name how collected an his mobile but I said I this much details only you kindly check with AO Smith Customer Care Center an understand the same … now I fell really disappointed with such pathetic system … the company like AO Smith which has Great Products but has bad service provider who has no knowledge of the product … AO Smith has to Look into this matter an see that it is solved immediately

            I have raised my concern about water purifier not working and we are struggling to get drinking water from outside. I raised the ticket on 5 th July but nobody responded and I have given call again on 8th July but again there is no proper response on the solution.
            I'm approaching expiry of my warranty and due to that purposefully not responding. Its looking like a cheating.

            I want service immediately otherwise I will escalate to next level. I will go to consumer forum.

              I had issue with my z9 water purifier and had a technician come over 2 weeks back, I asked the technician to have a look at the filters inside the machine as it may need replacement however the technician was hesitant. Now it is just a week that the warranty expired and when I call AO Smith customer care, I have been given a price of 5000 to 9000 for replacing the filters. I had issues and have called in technician twice in a year and continuously informed that the filters may need to be changed however I feel that it was deliberately avoided so that the product goes out of warranty and the company can charge the customers. Not happy at all.

                    Hi team, we have purchased AO smith water purifier an year ago. Now we are getting an indication of (RO SCMT) on machine. We have tried contacting customer care number but there was no response and its been 3 weeks we are trying to raise a complaint but there no proper path for raising complaint nor they responding to our mesages or mails..the service is very bad..kindly look into this as soon as possible..

                      I have a AO smith Water purifier Z8 model. 10 days back i had filed the complaint on [protected](AO smith customer care).
                      The technician was sent at my place the same day. The problem with the RO was, the tank was not being filled but the waste water output was too much. The technician told us one of the filter will be changed. He changed pur filter with one of the old kept with him, and told us that tomorrow he will get the new filter.
                      He cam the next day and changed it with the new filter. Same day at night around 2am the purifier started beeping FULL, which never happened earlier. Then we switched off the RO. Next day i again filed a complaint, and again the same technician came and told us that the PCV battery is low in the display panel. So he changed the battery and charged ₹110/-.
                      Again the same night the RO started beeping and we turned it off again.

                      And next day i again had to file the complaint. The technician called the next day telling that he is coming in 1 hour. And till today he hasnt come neither did he receive our calls. And the RO is still not working. And we are drinking the bottled water.

                      Today morning again I filed the complaint to which I was told, my issues will be resolved on priority but since morning I havent received any call or message yet.

                      This is very pathetic customer care service from AO smith.

                      Kindly escalate the matter, and aolve it at the earliest.

                        My Z2+ started leaking water a few weeks ago. After raising the complaint (first raised on 21 May, request#14412345, request#[protected], the service technician has come thrice to no avail. He has overcharged me by asking me to pay to his personal Google Pay account. The problem with the filter has escalated with a shrill alarm coming every time I switch in on (in addition to the leakage). He now suggests we change the display as well but is clueless to the real problem. It has been 4 days since I raised the complaint last without anyone coming to help/fix.

                        Can you please help with this? I have been writing to the customer care and keep getting empty promises of someone coming to help.

                          I have RO purifier and need to change the filters of RO and SCPA.
                          I called 2 times to customer care and there response, we will not able to give timeline for technician visit.

                            We brought AO Smith Z1 model water purifier on Jan 30'2021 and after 2 months o[censored]sage it Started showing SCPA symbol. Raised complaint for service and I got different answers from different technicians saying filters needs to be replaced and this answer is without checking physically the product. And later after escalation to Manager, another technician came and reset the water purifier where he is said it is due to water bubble block in this model.

                            And again after 15 days of this same issue repeated like showing SCPA symbol and UV filtration stopped and again the same story happened like technician came and reset the water purified again where it started working back again.

                            And again after 15 days now we got same issue where it is showing again SCPA symbol and Filter stopped.

                            Technicians are not able to provide permanent solution or this might be defaulted product.

                            This is not acceptable to get the same issue for every 15 days. Here I am providing my service request numbers till date for your reference.

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                Sub: reg complaints raised vide 14331415 / 11921424 / 11495011 / 09968166
                                I have boughtAO Smith Water heater product from one of your reputed dealer.
                                From the day I bought i.e. 18/03/2018, I have been facing problem with the Water heater.
                                after water heating I do not get inflow of water in Hot water tap. For the same I have raised multiple complaints. None of them have told me that there is manufacturing defect which I have been raising since day 1. All the technicians told me that there is a problem with Apartment water tap that has been fixed. After spending almost 30k to completely damaged and replacing the existing tap ( though plumber said water pipe is clear and unncessarily you are spending money for this), I have told plumber to get it done as I had lot of faith on AO smith as its is an international brand. To my surprise, I have raised 3 complaints before warranty period. Every technician told me that to to press red button whenever I get electricity problem inside the geyser. Secondly I have also replaced Power plug to better capacity which I also did.

                                Before, I used to get 10 hot drops per second when I purchased the product, Now I am getting only 2 drops after opening the tap. This is very clear that AO smith has cheated me completely that when they are aware of the problem from DAY 1, they have just tried to escape instead of fixing the exact issue. Now, post warranty, your techinican is saying that you need to buy to new geyser or water heater as there is a problem inside the water heater and not with tap and it is their since long time. He tried to clear with screw driver and all types of mechanisms when he visited.
                                Please find the below tickets that have been raised for auto switch off of water heater or low pressure in water. Both have been expalined when technicinan visited the place. I seriously not in a position to throw out this water heater as still it look brand new and maintained well. I cannot afford to buy another geyser just because of your in capability of replacing the faulty material. Looking forward for your prompt and quick revert.

                                    I called to AO smith customer care for my filter check and they assigned this task to his one employee name Mr. Venkata reddy( mobile number +[protected]in sarjapura area Bangalore, near Sompura Gate, pin code- 562125. I asked him to provide me estimate before changing its part so that I can decide whether I should go for it or not. But he changed one by one it’s part and make a bill around 5000Rs and saying better take Amc which will cost 5900Rs. I asked him I don’t want to change parts as it’s going beyond to my budget. But he changed it forcefully and took amount for the same we also did the payment because it was turning 10 pm and we didn’t want to continue further.He didn’t checked TDS also that day and I need to call him again for checking TDS next day in the morning and again requested to take back the device since the charges are very high. He said since it’s already changed we won’t take it back.Again morning we called customer care and took number for Area manager Mr Muniswara wherein on concall Venkat changed his words and said on your approval only I changed. Is this kind of service you are providing where your employee are just trying to make higher bill as per their wish. I called to his manager name Srinivas( mobile number[protected], but he is also talking rubbis and not providing any positive support. I called to Srinivas manger name Muniswara(mobile number [protected]). We inform the same incident to him but he told you don’t have any proof to proof your point. So you are free to complain anywhere you want and he told of you will complain I will make sure the refund is not done. Dear Aosmith after looking on your service and employee behaviour request you to take the device back regardless of price I must say I have kent water purifier which provide far better and awesome service and now I can understand why market person suggest Kent over aosmirth.

                                      I purchased 3 geysers of 25 litre each. They were installed hardly 2 months back. I don’t know why geyser water is not coming from Basin mixer in one washroom. Please take care of my complaint.

                                        Water Filter - Fraud

                                        Hello,

                                        I had raised a service request to obtain an AMC for my X7 Water Filter. The rep asked me to pay 5500 for AMC to the AO Smith Google Pay account and took an additional 2000 on his personal Google Pay account saying that not all the filters are covered hence I will have to pay extra for one of the filters.
