    My geyser was working well & I just called for service purpose to clean the glass tank as it was delaying the heating time and hot water didn't come in good quantity as it used to.
    I esp. requested the CUSTOMER care to send me a senior technician so that I don't hv to suffer again & again. Yet they took it casually and send me a young guy of 22-23Yrs of age with no GREAT EXPERience.
    I had to call your CS four times as your service guy deliberately damaged my geyser by the way he was handling when he came for the first time service visit. He scattered all the geyser dirt on my bathroom floor, shook my geyser to clean the tank roughly and singlehandedly and not bothered about anything.. He lastly inserted the wet plug directly into the socket... Didn't bother to check and took the money and went away.
    Then I again called up ur service center... Another unexperienced technician came called Sandeep and he told me the so called senior technician forgot to switch on the button given inside the geyser panel.
    After that it worked for sometime and again it stopped working after a while... I called again and the sent another unexperienced guy Ravi Shankar.. He could'nt do anything... Then finally the first so called senior technician Harmendra came and he told me madam aapka thermostat kharaab ho gya hai to my surprise as I never touch that to change the heating spead.
    He was putting a duplicate thermostat... Clever enough to show me he's opening a new packed thermostat of AO Smith Company & he opened from the side from his teeth... I picked up the packet to see the manufacturing date but I was shocked to see that the packet was stapled from the top in a very clever way... I actually gave him a scolding for fooling the AO Smith CUSTOMERs but that shameless guy wasn't really bothered... I told him I'm not goin to pay for this fake product... He later came within an hour and got a new one. Showed me the seal. My thermostat is in good condition and still looks new... I wonder why he couldn't find out the actual fault that he himself deliberately created.
    I am a busy person and I'm really pissed off with AO Smith and their service centers as after complaining to them they told me to talk to the supervisor... I told her that's not my job... That's ur job to update the supervisor & to look into what the CUSTOMER is complaining!
    Last year too your two service guys exchanged my new geyser parts to old ones and I complaint but was never heard... I will surely write to your US department on how AO Smith treat their CUSTOMERs like ###!
    Highly disappointed with your useless and painful and thhug services!

      The issue that I have experienced was: Its been one year I purchased, but i hardly used only 6months. The power is off, could not able to ON. After repeated service requests and 3motnhs after my complaint, one technician addressed solved it. It worked for 2 days again the problem raised. Again I made a complaint, the same story repeated.

      It occurred on: 10/12/2020

      Only thing is i request is to replace the UNIT with a New one.
      And It would be better to shut down the Products and Services by AO SMITH.
      Because, they are many other options for the customers to choose a similar product.

      I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case

        I really wasted my time and experience after getting AO Smith water purifier.

        I purchased the water purifier last year in the month of Oct. 19 and so many issues came and there is no one even to listen or give a call back, after sale service.

        On 30th Sept. 2020 the technician visited and I requested him to check thoroughly but no one even bothered even that and last month when warranty got expired this product is a box for now and I wasted 21000/- rupees.
        SO many times I sent the mail in their email but now they are least bothered and asking money from me and this was an ongoing issue since month on month but they have not given me any permanent solution but only busing time from me.
        Lastly, I request you to take the strict action against this brand so that other people in our society should be save when money matters a lot for everyone.

          Membrane replacement done & invoice provided in Sep2020 but membrane worked only for 1 month & technician confirmed that there is problem with membrane & needs to be placed for only filtering 500 litres??? Membrane from AO smith is pathetic & also what abot the durability after paying 2100 for membrane. is the product defect or the servicemen installed the duplicate/used membrane??

          The invoice states that the membrane is having warranty of 1 year . After repeated calls i am unable to get quick response from AO smith customer care & technician. Based on the invoice copy i am raising the consumer complaint & the problem is not solved from past1 month.

          This is the repetitive problem for which the technician has changed the RO membrane but after changing the membrane & all the filters like sediment, Carbon, ART, RO membrane, 2 solenoid valves replaced, Flow restrictor changed, pipes changed twice & charged almost 7000 rs for parts & labour above 1000 which is excessive & also service is pathetic ( Invoice copies attached ). From past one month calling customer care & i am not getting support from AO smith & also from the technician which is pathetic from US company.??!!!

            PATHETIC! Worst ever installation by the concerned person.

            He broke (drilled through) the main water pipe which lead to water leakage through the entire wall once i turned on motor in the evening. He knew he has broken the pipe. I told him beforehand that there's water pipe underneath. Now they are not picking up my calls even. Pathetic service/experience.

            I noted the person's bike number also which is
            HR 87A 0108 (CT 100 Model No.)

            His supervisor (Ali Khan) is also not picking my calls. Ph No. [protected]

            I will escalate this issue in consumer forum and senior management who will make sure to take into account for all the damage done and inconvenience caused.

            I NEED THE REPLY TO MY EMAIL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

              I had purchased an a o Smith water geyser from Amazon, during purchase company specified an installation. But technician has not arrived. Later I personally placed a request for installation from a o Smith customer care. They have acknowledged and given me confirmation of installation would happen on same day, later on technician had made a call to me and asking some components of tools for installation, he wasn't visiting and saying excuses for providing services, I had availed authorised service centre number by placing again my request. This time authorized service centre manager (Dynamic service - Vijayawada), I acknowledged him about the issue, where his technician has addressing. But authorized service centre person also not in feasible of providing service to the customer and answering recklessly. This kind of attitude was difinetiley gives negative impact on company good will. This type of service aren't encouragable.

                You can see this kind of water that we are drinking. COCKROACHES all inside the main chamber. I have raised the complaint so many times still it's not resolved.

                The service engineer changed the lid last time but having holes in it as you can see in the picture.

                The technician visited 2 days back and we can see again the same problem in the level indicator.

                This is really frustrating and causing severe health issues.

                On top of this we have AMC for 4 years, that means paid way too high expecting a better product but this is horrible.

                  First, your product has stopped working 20 days after installation.it is a serious question in terms of reliability, credibility and trust for AO SMITH brand name.

                  Second, i registered this complaint on 13th nov and have been told that Service Engineer would contact you within 24 hour. However, Noone contacted me yet even though i raised my call on priority since i have an infant at home.

                  This is my first product from AO SMITH and i wouldn't recommend this to anyone anymore.

                      From you saying cancelling your request as there are duplicate requests. If so you should not take request from me and technician should not have callef me. I am very much regret to inform for such a reputed brand. Please stop this here afterwards.

                        Hello,
                        I was using Kent RO water purifier for last 8 years and had hardly replaced the filers for 3 times, and last year I went with the AO Smith X4+ and initial few months i had very good experience and past few months I am really struggling with the performance of the water purifier for last few month.
                        1. First free service was not on time (Ref: No.[protected].
                        2. Then we started facing a problem with water dispensing as it was under warranty the problem got fixed by replacing some filters (Ref: No.[protected] .
                        3. Again after 2-3months now I am getting the same problem of filter change and the strange thing is that my warranty got over on 27th Oct'20 & the problem started on 28th Oct'20 (Ref: No.[protected]

                        We have fitted the purifier to the river water and the filters should last for a longer period and that's what I had experience with Kent RO and while purchasing the dealer assured me that AO Smith filters are having better life than Kent RO, which i feel is wrong.

                        Kindly consider this as a complaint of defective product and do the needful within the warranty.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had contacted AO Smith directly to purchase a water purifier as i had purchased 4 water heaters earlier from you.

                          AO smith deputed a person named Mr.Vijay on 30th September 20 and he recommended me to buy R7plus model.

                          The same was sent by him from dealer sathya and paid for in full

                          Technician came for installation on 30th & installed the machine. Unable to complete installation as water tap broke.

                          He came on 1st October and could not install. He claimed that the adapter was defective and he did not have a multi meter to check it. Said there is only one available in rotation.He said he will be back shortly, but did not show up for two & hours. He wasn't picking calls either. Since this was a kitchen area we were stuck with half cooked food & were not sure when he would come back.

                          So we coudnt disinfect the place to resume cooking and had to order food out. Sugar patients !!!

                          Finally, the technician Kanna Biran picked up the call when we tried from an alternative number. He said he was far away trying to gather spare parts, when i asked why he needed spare parts for a new machine he spoke rudely and told me to approach the dealer who sold.

                          Mr.Yoganand service manager deputed another technician Senthil. The machine worked for a couple of days and today it stopped working. Senthil attended to it, in spite of me telling him that water has been stopped for maintenance and he can come and check when water resumes.But he fiddled with the machine for quite sometime and said everything if fine. He left.

                          Now water is leaking from the main unit in several places and the tank doesn't get filled up. Needless visit and a lame attempt. This is the 5th time we have disinfected as these guys and their tools are all over the kitchen.

                          Now Mr.Yoganand says he will come personally to inspect the machine.

                          #. So far 5 visits have been made by technicians to install the purifier exposing us during these perilous times ( COVID ) and a simple water purifier couldn't be installed properly.
                          6th visit awaited in just 7 days.

                          #. Technicians put unclean hands into the filter and we simply cannot digest the training levels imparted by you on hygiene... The product in question is all about hygiene..

                          #. Will you as a customer accept spare parts changes in a new machine ?

                          #. Even after i have been magnanimous enough to accept a repair on a new product, it is still not functioning and the purpose of switching from cans to purifiers is defeated.. Its just been 6 days of installation and your product sticks out like a sore thumb. I dread the thought of traveling with your pathetic product and service in the future to come.

                          We simply cannot allow technicians into our kitchen area again and again for a single issue pertaining to a defective product and lack of knowledge on the part of your staff.

                          My son has taken ill these last couple of days and we have isolated him as a precautionary measure. As i am a comorbid person, i maintain strict sop's in my house and that includes no entry for outsiders unless it is very important. But i am cornered to a wall while your people are waltzing in and out my place throwing caution to the wind.

                          Sir, i bought this product out of good intention as a loyal customer.But tell me when will this tirade end. When will you stop harassing us in the name of installation and repair of a new product.

                          Now, please take back your product and return my money in full. I simply cannot go through the rigmarole now and in future as it is clearly established your product and support service is below standards.

                          At least act fast in reimbursing my money in full immediately. Please do not attempt any further repairs at my place.. I would rather live with my local water can guy for my water needs than pay a premium for a purifier only to invite stress, anxiety and exposure.

                              Hi AO Smith Grievance Team,

                              We have AO Smith 25 L water heater( HSE-SAS-025) water heater, please find attached model.

                              27-09: We raised complaint on Sunday(27-09) asking customer care to assign technician for repair since the water heater was not working. Ticket reference number 13280487

                              28-09: Technician visited and told that coil is gone and stock not available and will do replacement by Wednesday.

                              29-09: Service was assigned to a different person and he told he was far away and could not come.

                              30-09: Wednesday assigned to one more new technician he told Thursday he will come and do the service.

                              01-09: Ticket was closed by the last assigned technician in morning around 8.45 a.m saying "service not required" but he did not visit us.

                              We called customer care around 9.30 a.m and informed this and they created one more ticket with reference number 13295377 assigned to same person, they said same ticket can't opened again. This time he visited us at around 10.45 and checked and said all parts are gone in heater and pipe replacement is also required and he doesn't have all the parts to make replacement and only he had heater coil.

                              I somehow feel they have no intention to make service and its not going well and it's dragging, they closed ticket without any reason and i had trouble time following up and asking to create new ticket which i don't understand the reason.

                              Only 3 days is left our in our warranty period, if its delayed further we will not be able claim warranty.
                              We also have a small baby, it's difficult to manage without water heater. Could you please help us soon and assign a reliable person for the service please.

                                Dear sir/madam,
                                I had made a service request for my water heater, model ewsh 25l a month ago, i wanted the aluminium anode rod to be replaced. When the servicing for the water heater was done almost two years back, technician told me that the anode rod needs to be replaced but since he did not have it with him, he told when the service is due next, inform the technician to bring the anode rod for replacement.

                                When i made the service request, i got a call from the service provided and he told me that the part was not available with him and it would take at least two weeks to get the part. I agreed to his request and the service request was cancelled. I made another request for the service after waiting for almost a month and i get the same reply that it would take two more weeks to get the part. Kindly see that the part is available with the service provider. Your good name with be tarnished due to tardy service providers.

                                    I bought ao smith geyser sds green series 15 ltr from amazon.in

                                    Purchase date: 06 aug 2020

                                    From the day of installation, whenever we turn on the heater, rumbling sound is coming out of the geyser. We are afraid of turning it on and we stopped using it. Please resolve the issue at the earliest. The purpose of purchase is not being served. Very disappointed with the purchase. Hope y

                                      We have purchased ao smith water purifier on 19th september 2019 from ram electricial line, now the issue is it has lot of water leakage, we raised first complaint on 30th august for water leakage, till today september 14th 2020 issue not solved, from 30th august several technicians visited the house but issue is not solved, still the water is getting leaked, we are asking them for product replacement but they are refusing to give, inspite of having warranty they are not responding to give us permanent solution, in this pandemic time it is been very tuff for us to allow technician so many times, we are keeping our life in risk, pls give solution for this.

                                        Service after 1year in warranty and after 3year in warranty and charged a lot of amount even for changing just wires.
                                        In warranty service charge = 300 just for coming at home. And only for changing two wires they have charged like 200+300=500.
                                        Worst service. Never purchase aosmith.
