I have purchased ao smith z8 water purifier on 1st feb 2020 and won microwave oven as new year scratch card gift redemption offer.
I have uploaded all the documents like coupon no and invoice bill copy of the purchase on same date 1st feb 2020 and received acknowledgment number as 60883. My coupon no is 4788.
It was promised that i will receive the gift within 45 days. Till now i haven't received my gift yet.
Could you please look into this and provide an update.

    Our purifier is not working since 1 week... When i call to customer services they are not taking my complaint and people are talking irresponsibly and even they are not responding properly... If they are not respond with in 2 days we will go to consumers court...

      Hello,
      I have a a. O smith water purifier, which i bought around 10 months ago,
      The product is faulty, as it stop working every 40 day and i have been registered the service complain for 7-8 time in last 10 month. It is a worst product i have ever used in last 10 month 7-8 service its really disgusting.
      Why should i use such a faulty product which stop working every month. As water is most essential thing and nobody want to rely on such useless product.

      Kindly replace your faulty product. As after 2 month when warranty is over why should i keep on paying for service of this faulty product.

      So, kindly arrange for the replace meant of this product for which i am putting a consumer complain also in the consumer forum.

        I purchased ao smith x7+ water purifier on 23 may 2020 and my request number is 12858798

        The product says the following

        1 hour response
        1 day service
        1 time fix

        The dealer (Pirgal electronics kuktpally, hyderabad) said due to lock-down installation will be done at max within 48 hours.

        I called customer care on 25th, they said it will take another 48 hours as they have huge number of requests pending.

        Again i called customer care on 27th, surprisingly they said it will take another 72 hours.

        48 hours to 96 hours and from 96 hours to 168 hours and time keep on increasing exponentially.

        The don't even unable to tell the approximate time, just throwing some random numbers to customer without having earlier details of the ticket.

        When i say the only option available with me is to return the product they seems to be ok with that too.

          On 4 may 2020, i had triggered the complaint and the number of service request is 12808743. I understand that support team did not start service due to the lockdown until 17 may. After may 17th, the government gave a relaxation of the business. So, again on 18th may, i escalated the issue with customer care team. I have briefed team repeatedly on 20th, 21st may 2020 and even today.

            Submitted a complaint on 24april 2020 for my ro servicing. Service request no. Is 12788332. After a lapse of month there is no response despite of multiple mails, twit and followups. Water being the essential commodity we are suffering a lot from more than a month. Despite of spending so much in purchasing the ro of aosmith my family is exposed to the risk of health hazard. Mentally tortured a lot by aosmith.

              We've bought the ao smith z8 water purifier on july 2019. It was working fine till march 22nd. We raised a sr # 12721665 on 23rd march for fixing the water filter. We had contacted customer care couple of times but due to lock-down our complaint was not addressed. We also received a sms from the customer care that due to covid-19 service engineers will not be available. Since the lock-down is relaxed now and still our issue is not fixed., we had contacted customer care and they told to send an escalation mail which was also sent. But till this date we're living with the faulty purifier.

                I logged a service request with ap smith online customer care on 13th may and reference id[protected], service engineer was assigned on the same day and service technician visited my house on on 14th may

                After diagnosing my water purifier informed me that ro water and other component needs to replacement which i agreed

                All the above costed me approximately[protected]Filter) + 250 (Component)+400 (Service charge)

                He replaced ro water filter+ one more component which controls the water outlet flow showed me the tds value which was around 140 and confirmed that it will further reduce in due course,

                My worst nightmare started after 2hrs once the water tank started filling up it started leaking from the top and also water taste gone and when tested its tds went up to more than 500, immediately i tried to reach the service technician multiple times on the contact number shared in sms but no response

                On may 14th i raised this issue to ao smith customer care over email and toll free number since then every time i get a response saying"we have escalated this issue and our service team will get back to as soon as possible" or our service team will get back to you on priority"

                After 3 days struggling of calling them and mailing them every day they logged another request reference number: 12835160 and service technician has been assigned on 17th may and till date no technician either called me nor attended my request and when i call the ao smith customer care standard response that you get is"our service team would get back to you on priority"

                I have been struggling to get this issue resolved till now even after spending inr 3000 i have been calling and mailing ao smith since a week

                  Cheating with filter replacement

                  My ao smith x7 water purifier stopped working in march end and i got to know no service de to lockdown. I was waiting till may first week and they started service. One engineer visited on 10th may and changed series of filter some of them are not even used for 2 months and collected 3000 and went. Next day it started warning ro and scpa. Called the engineer multiple times and no response, raised ticket again and escalated to wecare as well...

                      Please check request has been raised on 2nd may 2020. But not entertained yet. Ro is pending for service after amc was done. No one visited for service yet in a year. The person came at the time of renewal of amc for working.

                      Now ro has stopped working. Please align an engineer for visit as i am facing a huge problem.

                      Hoping to get a revert soon.

                      Hi, I have registered my service request[protected] on 30th April when my X4 water purified stopped working suddenly. Though my purifier is under complete AMC for 2 years, none has visited it in almost 2 months time. Once I call, either service engineer assigned doesn't pick up the phone or I get some false commitments of visits. After repetitive requests, I am now become frustrated and even don't feel to call them again to get another false date.

                      Please help.

                        There was problem in filtration of water since last two days and due to corona lockdown no service representative was visiting to our home, my wife asked me to do the necessary maintenance as I am also an engineer and worked for almost 10 years for water treatment companies and I have tried to do initial maintenance like cleaning of re-filter candle. My problem could not resolved after cleaning Prefilter candle then I have opened back cover...

                          We bought AO Smith water purifier for our personal use(residence) on[protected] in Reliance Sahakaranagar in Bengaluru. After completion of 1 year warranty We have taken AMC with Reliance in 2019, we occured machine problem in Jan 2020, We Called AO Smith Customer Care requesting for Service, the same Service Engineer Mr. Shiva Kumar [protected] from (Ratna Enterprises Yelahanka) AO Smith arrived and replaced with parts and Also charged Rs. 5900 towards AMC and parts as we informed home that we have taken the AMC still he charged us Rs. 5900. We tried to reach him and Later he said would refund the Amount by taking old parts, again now he is demanding with Cancelled Cheque to refund amount, today we complained Customer Care of AO Smith Mr. Amir and later spoken With Mr. Sachin Area Service Head on [protected]. Mr. Sachin never showed any response on refund

                            I had purchased ao smith water purifier x7 in july 2019 & from very 1st day i am facing issues. Water purifier is not working properly & stops working after every 20-30 days. Every time i raise a complaint with ao smith, representative comes & repairs the purifier & charged me for that even though product is under warranty. I dont know what kind of warranty ao smith is offering to customers. They are simply cheating their customers. I had purchased x7 product for inr 14559.90/- & so far i have already spent inr 1500 on its repair that too under warranty. Almost 5-6 times i have raised my concerns with ao smith customer care through telephonic as well on emails but didnt get any satisfactory revert till date. Last mail was sent on 29th jan2020 for which no action has been taken.

                            At last i shared my reviews on social media for which i got a call from their representative mr. Sunil having mobile no [protected] who is handling ao smith social media & he told me that they are getting frequent complaints for their ao smith x7 water purifier product that's why company has discontinued this product & he committed me that he will get my x7 water purifier returned after charging 10% depreciation & the remaining amount will get refunded to you. Though it was not my fault, their product failed to perform even then i agreed for deduction of 10% depreciation from my refund amount. He then asked me to share bill invoice, product no, my banking details & cancel cheque details which i forwarded to him on watsapp. He confirmed me that refund is in process & it will take some time but refund will be surely processed. After wasting almost 2 weeks they refused to refund.
                            Requesting you to kindly take necessary penal action against the company as well as the representative who are making fool of their customers.

                            I raised a reinstallation request on June 12, 2021 but sorry to inform u that till date it is not resolved. I received call from your technician and i asked to visit on certain day, but your technician close the request by giving reason that customer cancel which is highly un professional also mail to Grievance cell [protected]@aosmithindia.com un answered.

                              I follow up 4 days and even service manager nor technician are not replying. This is 3rd class service even and road side technician comes quickly. Never buy any product in ao smith. Worst service even i[censored] shout also the say just sorry. There is no authority person they simply say we will talk to service manager. He is also idle and simply says we will send technician and sometimes say i m out f station we then paid to urban clap and made the service at 600 inr

                                This is to inform you that I purchased a 3 liter instant geyser on 24/12/2019. I got it installed on 25/12/2019 morning and it looked working fine but in evening it stopped working on same day.
                                Next day AO smith service engineer visited and said that its heating element is not working due to dry heating and refused to replace it under warranty. This is simply denial of promised warranty. Service engineer said that service team is from franchise and he will replace on chargeable basis. Because they are franchise, they will not care about customer satisfaction and brand value. They will make false reason to deny free service where cost is involved.

                                I purchased this product seeing AO Smith brand, 2+5 years warranty and 8 Bar pressure but all became fusss... in few hours only. I urge you to do the needful at the earliest to get me relief.

                                  I bought a 50 litre aosmith geyser in march 2019- had it installed in my new home - the first time i used it was in december this year and it has already stopped working twice - every time i complain - it takes them 7 days to come and then they don’t do the job - they expect me to live like this in the month of december - it is the worst product ever and the service is awful - i should consider taking them to consumer court - gunjan

                                    Pathetic service. Nobody is attending the issue though i have been repeatedly following up.

                                    Dear people don't purchase any product from ao smith. Very bad response.

                                    Have been approaching for geyser servicing under warranty and they are least bothered to send technician. Whenever i call they say they are arranging but nothing has happened and its been more than 15 days.
