Dear sir
Mr amit singh has work in apollo munich insurance company and he register me as agent without my knowledge. Even i have not given any irda exam. How it is possible to give company licences on that?? Now m asking for noc that he is refuse to give that. Kindly take serious action on that.

    Needless to say we are regretting our decision to choose apollo munich for medical insurance, when we opted for it going by 'service' as heard from others
    At that time when we 'ported' our insurance to apollo munich. Probably it's time for another such port.
    Fed up receiving consecutive mails and letters with ever growing mandatory requirements to proceed further with claim of polytrauma from road traffic accident leading to multiple fractures and complications like pulmonary embolism, in spite of having submitted all necessary and relevant documents as demanded.
    Being a doctor and a surgeon myself i could not comprehend how come records of previous abdominal surgery and then the body weight of the patient in 2014 with its record is ' mandatorily important' and comes in the way of processing this claim for hospitalisation for accidental poly-trauma from a road traffic accident with multiple fracures?
    Please enlighten me if possible.
    The patient sustained fractures involving both her pelvic rami and communiated fracture of left shaft femur and also suffered from pulmonary embolism leading to oxygen desaturation requiring icu care with ventilatory support for part of her stay in the hospital. She is still requiring physiotherapy on advice from her orthopaedics in sancheti hospital.
    Apollo munich insurance claim processing dept have neither acknowledged nor answered any of my mails in this connection but kept on sending consecutive mails one after another, adding yet another so called new mandatory query. The intention is clear. Their arrogance and indifference is so high that this did not stop even after my complaint to the customer care and escalating it later to the grievance cell yesterday! Another mail with addition of yet another 'mandatorily important query' was sent today.
    Now this is too difficult to bear with.
    Someone who had to fight for life in a hospital after poly trauma and who is still requiring physiotherapy to walk properly is thus being humiliated with such needless personal questions like her body weight 3 years back on the plea of processing her justifiable insurance claim.
    This is a serious human rights issue.

      I have a health policy from apollomunich (Policy id
      111400/11119/aa00552599,) on the name of mr. Gulshan kumar

      Recently on 23rd august, 2017 my wife mrs anju arora was suffering from high fever and cough and we went to max hospital. She is in ventialtor from the first day in very critical condition as doctor said she is suffering from high level namunia.

      As we have filled the form for claim in max hospital but after few hours we got message from apollomunich that our cashless policy has declined. So we called to our agents i. E mr rahul sharma. He answered to us that we have not mentioned to him about the problem of bp and thyroid, so that's why our policy has been declined.

      But we have mentioned to agent about our problem of bp and thyroid. But he does'nt mentioned in our policy.

      It is my humble request you to please solve my query.

        Company agent mr. Ajay bhardwaj asked me to apply for this policy in jan 2017, all checkups were done before policy. Didn't find any disease in that.

        In july 2017, we found some problems occur with my mother, she admitted in a max super speciality hospital, saket, delhi.

        We claimed for cashless, but they have not supported.

        Can you please tell me why you guys asked me to apply for this policy, just for some money or you really want to help people.

        I paid huge premium amount but not getting any kind of support from apollo munich.

        Extremely disappointed..

            मेरे पिता जी ने 13 मार्च 2016 को पॉलिसी ली थी ओर 23 may 2016 को उनको पेह्ली वार मालूम हुआ की उनको आहार नली का केन्सर है हमने सभी जाँच कंप्लीट करवाई । 30 मार्च 2017 को मेरे पिता जी को fiver के लिये admit करना हुआ, और 2 april 2017 को दुबारा admit किया गया । डिस्चार्ज होने के बाद हमने क्लेम किया तो कंपनी ने यह कहकर क्लेम रिजेक्टे कर दिया की यह बीमारी आपको पेहले से थी और पॉलिसी लेते समय आपने नही बताया जबकि बीमारी से सम्बद्ध सभी रिपोर्ट में दे चुका हूँ लेकिन कंपनी जान कर क्लेम नही देना चाहती और पॉलिसी को रिजेक्टे कर दिया डॉक्टर ने भी लिख कर दिया है की पेह्ली वार 23 may को ही बीमारी का पता चला है ।

                    Dear sir, last year 19oct'16 my son (7 yr old) fall sick due to food poising contineous loose motion & vomiting. So we went to Agersen Hospital, punjabi Bagh as it is nearby our home. There in emergency doctor said first please go to admission counter for formalities i said okay atleast please start treatment of my son but they dont even allow my son to sit inside. my son alongwith my wife i went to admission counter at g floor. i show my son valid cashless health card to person sitting there but they ask me first to deposit 45000/-(fourty five thousand). i was shocked i ask them why so? they said it is our hospital policy first to deposit money. again i request them i have 12000/-(twelve thousand) with me kindly deposit as a token amount and please do the needfull. But they simply denied by saying first deposit full amount of 45k then only admission & treatment will proceed. i was so hopeless & shocked that time & wondering why they not honour cashless health card by asking big amount of 45k. well i must say it is disgusting & shamefull act done by agersen hospital management.
                    And i ask apollo Munich Health insurance being a privileged client of your health policy(AA[protected] for last 3 years why this kind of ill treatment by the agersen hospital when it is on your panel. On what grounds they demand me to deposit huge amount when i have valid cashless health policy.

                      Sir, on 26 feb, i asked your agent to tell me the last due date to renew my health policy # AA[protected]. Your agent told me 2nd march 2017. Then i asked about the it through email on your ids [protected]@apollomunichinsurance.com, jitendra.[protected]@apollomunichinsurance.com but no reply i received.

                      After all when i go for online payment on 1 march then it showed that now i can't, policy lapsed.

                      Requesting you to please renew my policy at the earliest possibe with same past offers and conditions.

                      Mr Viswanath jangra, even after due date for renewal of your health policy, their is a grace period up to 30 days from last date for renewal, you may get your policy renewed by visiting insurers office instead of contacting over phone or email.

                          I applied for health insurance through policy bazar. Application number was B[protected] and the case id was 2651928. I paid slightly more than 14k (HDFC Bank transfer). But I was refunded 11k. So company has deducted around 3k. Tried to followup with them to know what was the reason of deducting 3k. Did not get any specific answer but the probable answer was that the deduction was related to required blood tests.

                          Here I am not complaining regarding the cancellation of the Insurance but the refund money which was 3k less than the amount I paid.

                          The funny part is, when I asked them the details of my lab test that they have arranged they could not provide me the details. The truth is, I did the tests on my own expense and provided them the result. The same payment copy was provided to them too but still they did not respond back. So I look at it as a case of cheating.

                          They claim that they have arranged the test but when challenged they are unable to furnish the details whereas I have provided the bill copy and even then they are not accepting the same.

                          What a shame!!!

                          Looking forward a suitable response and refund of my remaining 3k.

                            Dear sir/madam,

                            I am in receipt of your letter dated 7th november 2016, terminating my health insurance policy, giving 30 days’ notice period and from the 30th day of the payment of the last premium.
                            We had opted for apollo munich, after a lot of convincing done your agent, without realising that we would have to face the present circumstances.
                            Our experience with your company this time around after having paid premium on time for four consecutive years and not having lodged any claim on account of virender raina for the past four years, since we did not need the same and when we actually needed it has been pathetic and as a customer and a cancer patient, i feel totally let down and cheated by your company. I say so because of the series of events that i had to go through which at each time showcased to me the unwillingness of your company to entertain any claim from me, probably because the amount in consideration was higher than the basic insured value. Let me enumerate the same for your ready reference:
                            • after the diagnosis and consultation with three specialist when each one of them was of the opinion that i needed to remove my left kidney immediately, after studying the policy documents and list of network hospitals, we decided on kokilaben dhirubhai ambani hospital & medical research institute, andheri west, mumbai for undergoing the operation.
                            • in view of the mandatory 7 day notice for pre-planned hospitalisation, as per the policy we considered the date of 7th of november and submitted all the requisite documents to the tpa desk on the 1st of november. [id: 295482/1 of virender raina]
                            • on 2nd the tpa received denial of cashless service and the reason given for the same was “cashless facility cannot be granted as presenting ailment for which treatment is sought comes under standard exclusion as per policy terms & conditions.”
                            • spoke to the helpline number asking for the clause number for understanding it better but they were unable to explain the same and then asked them to put me on to some senior person and finally was given the understanding that robotic surgery was not covered and that apollo munich did not have an mou in place for the same with the concerned hospital. [have recordings of the conversations had]
                            • the officer at the tpa desk also tried his best to understand the reason for denial but he was also given the same explanation.
                            • with understand that robotic surgery was not allowed, identified laparoscopic surgery for the same and with the help of a senior surgeon, and went to jaslok hospital and through their tpa desk applied once again [id: 296095/1] on the 4th of november. [ your letter mentions the date as 07/11/16]
                            • on the 4th itself an additional information request form was received with reasons “all past opd records related to kidney disease, investigation reports of the patient supporting the diagnosis, valid address proof copy of passport, ration card, aadhar card, telephone bill, electricity bill, not older than three months or current passbook with statement of bank account updated in the last 3 months with latest photo of the patient.” tpa replied at 5.07 pm on the same day.
                            • on the 4th itself another additional information request form was sent by you to the tpa with the reasons “1) latest photo of the patient 2) all previosu treatment records and investigation reprots related to chronic colitis since 2011.” [note the typo is as per the letter received]. The tpa informed us at 7.37 pm on the same day and we went with the documents and met them on the 5th morning. Tpa replied at 9 am on 5/11/16.
                            • on the 5th we once again receive denial of cashless service with the reasons: cashless facility cannot be granted due to non-disclosure of material facts which are observed in the documents provided during the current hospitalization. However member can go for reimbursement with all previous insurance and medical records. It can be processed as per merits of the case.”
                            • thereafter we receive a letter dated 7th november as mentioned above as notice for termination.

                            My contention at this juncture:
                            1. Before the issuance of the policy there was a completed medical check up done and at that point had informed your appointed medical practitioner of my entire medical history including the colon ailment of 2011. He had made a note of the same in his records which were to be submitted to you, confidentially. You may refer to the same and verify the statement.
                            2. Additional 10% premium was already loaded on the policy before the commencement of the policy.
                            3. As per the policy any pre-existing diseases/conditions are covered after a waiting period of 3 years [36 months]. The first premium was paid on 27/02/2012. The policy document was issued on 28/03/2012 and began coverage from 00:00 hrs of 28th. The claim was submitted in november 2016 – 54 months – well beyond the period.
                            4. I have a certificate from a senior medical practitioner which clearly states that the kidney disease is not even remotely connected to the colon infection of 2011, what so ever.
                            5. The ground of cancellation is unjustified and illegal.
                            Our humble request is to reinstate the policy with immediate effect.
                            Meanwhile, we are submitting the claim in the requisite format through registered post/courier service.
                            We request for an early communication and redressal of our grievances.

                              I, Rohan Sharma having an insurance policy “Optima Restore” with Apollo Munich Health Insurance, policy no: 110103/11121/AA00434364.
                              In September 2016 I had filed a claim with the AMHI which got rejected last week under INCORRECT reasons. My claim id is 446608.

                              On 26th Aug 2016 my wife got admitted to Apollo Munich’s network hospital “BLK Super Speciality Hospital” for one night. Post discharge from the hospital I contacted AMHI customer care, briefed my case and as per your policy I have sent all the required medical documents (Blood test reports, doctor’s prescription, discharge summary etc.) along with the claim form for the reimbursement.

                              After few days claim team again asked for additional documents (hospital’s detailed bills, doctor’s certificates on various queries raised by claim team). Their requirements/queries kept coming till first week of November and I was responding to the best of my knowledge and with the consent of the treating doctor.
                              Now after so many follow ups claim team said they can’t pass my claim and have rejected under wrong/unreasonable reasons and they are trying to correlate my wife’s illness with those ailments which don’t cover in the first year of the policy. Moreover, as per policy agent there are only 5-6 diseases which don’t cover but rest do cover from the very next day of the start of the policy.
                              With these kinds of fake responses I am seriously very upset and really regret that how I took such an important policy from so unprofessional company.

                              I request you to pls revisit my case or arrange a call back so that I should be given a chance to clarify the case history. Hence I should be awarded with honest and appropriate solution.

                                I Rajiv katwal having an insurance policy with Apollo Munich, my policy no is AA00340824. I have a filed a Claim on 14th October 2016 with the insurance company.My claim id is 466287

                                First, I have faced a lot of issues in relation to document submission and follow ups, the customer care team of Apollo Munich is fooling the customers and giving illogical reasons. i I have filed approx. 15 complaints with Apollo Munich regarding document submission and delay in claim settlement.

                                In spite of sending all the documents related to my medical case and after a long trouble faced by me as mentioned above, my claim was finally processed and has been rejected on the reasons that need for hospitalization is not established.

                                I am extremely disappointed by Apollo Munich and feeling like cheated by the company.

                                I would like to highlight my case to the grievance cell in details:

                                I was down with fever and having throat problem from 27th of September 2016 I visited a clinic in my area and took medicines for 3 days but after 3 days i was not feeling well then I consulted Dr Arjun Rastogi (M.D Consultant) in Neptune Hospital on 30 September 2016. On the very next day I felt severe pain in my throat and was unable to take any food and even water so I called up Dr. Arjun Rastogi and informed him about my situation, then he referred me to Dr. Sandeep Sindhu (M.S. ENT) who is a Sr. consultant in Apollo Hospital and Neptune Hospital on 1st October he checked me and gave me medicines. On 2nd October morning I again felt severe pain and some blood came from my mouth I informed the same to the doctor and then he advised me to get hospitalized after that i was hospitalized in Neptune Hospital till 6th October 2016.

                                As mentioned in my Indoor case paper History sheet report that at the time of admission i was having following problems:

                                Severe pain in throat
                                Difficulty in Swallowing (Odynepgagia)
                                Blood Stained Sputum
                                Fever
                                Cough and Cold
                                Ulcerative Pharyngitis
                                I am unable to understand in spite of all the above problems how hospitalization in not justified. If a senior doctor like Dr. Sandeep Sindhu who is also a consultant in Apollo Hospital has treated me and hospitalized me is not justifiable. Does Apollo Munich is challenging the integrity of the hospital and the doctor.

                                In today's time where even a person with fever is hospitalized and have no issues in getting their claims. I have suffered a lot beside fever and my claim is rejected I am feeling like cheated by the company. Is this for the customer takes insurance policy or Apollo Munich policy is like this that when patient is about to die then only they allow patients to get hospitalized.

                                This a pure case of consumer harassment and I hope some top officials of the company look into these matter and get my genuine claim released as soon as possible because if this is the kind of services the company is providing to its customers then sorry to say its is depleting the company's brand and cheating the customers should be the main logo of the company.

                                  It does not pay valid claim amount. Will ask for documents not relevant to claim. Will ask for all documents related to disease even though every document is submitted. Exact document is never mentioned and reminder after reminder is sent with a threat to close the claim without paying.

                                  Investigators are sent without information and ID proof and we are expected to provide all information to stranger. Then we are threatened of non cooperation.

                                    My name is jayesh vyas employee id :- 5738 rajkot location last two months 5 days f&f is not coming in apollo munich health insurance no one can give properly answers or no employee care last so many times i do phone mail no one can give properly answer first time this of behavior i see that ex employee no one "care" I will do lots of mail to HR but no reply continue follow up will doesn't result anything

                                    i purchased apollo munich health insurance dated-30/11/2016, after canceled my policy 07/12/2016 without any claim, but apollo munich cut my refund money 25%.My policy number is AA00509149.

                                    Please look into matter, it is right or not,
