Dear team,

To whomsoever it may concern:

I am writing this mail with deep anguish and much concern that your company had given mental stress to me and my family. It is a most lethargic approach by your company without putting your selves in the shoes of the claimant.

My father was an insurance holder and expired on 19th may 2018 due to multi organ failures at mehta hospital.
We had approached your ashok nagar - chennai office for claim and submitted all the requisite documents in originals to mr. Suresh kumar (Executive - customer service), the officer who is handling the claim.

After so many follow ups and queries for more than months we were finally asked for 10 years old medical records of my father.

I was really shocked to hear this as we don't have so many years of records and more over my father was taking care of himself on the medication. There was no much serious illness until before his death. Even the cashless claim while he was admitted in the hospital was approved. (I dont know how at that time and why not now?)

I had tried contacted your customer service center for the status and letting know that we do not hold 10 years medical records. Finally i was told to write a letter and submit to the ashok nagar branch stating the reasons for not able to submit the 10 years old records. With all due respect i had given the letter as per the wish before 2 months.
But still i have not got any reverts. When contacted mr. Suresh, he told that would arrange for video conference with medical team in a week's time. This was promised to me on august 1st week but still i am yet to get an appointment on v. C. I again had approached mr. Suresh to know on the status and finally he directed me to write to grievances cell since he too was unable to get an appointment.

Now i am writing this mail hoping that somebody would help us in my fathers death clam. I have already given all the original documents and you can verify the same. Please do not post any questions to me as i have already given all my information's to your company. I am only looking forward for the claim amount without any further delay

Please note that if i am not getting any reverts within 2 days time, i am taking up the issue with ombudsman cell,.. My fathers claim is already due for more than 4 month and i have the rights to claim with all due interest.

    My brother fractured his knee ligament in an accident. The pre-authorisation claim form for policy has been rejected even though it is a case of accident.
    It was informed that waiting period will not be applicable in case of accident. It is very unfortunate to say that they misguided and cheated us while selling their policy.

      termination of policy

      My health insurance policy with Apollo Munich was terminated on grounds of non-disclosure of Arthritis
      Policy number: 110103/11121/AA00461302
      I talked to the customer care several times and they quote me the progress note from Columbia Asia Hospital dated July 26, 2016 from Dr. Jayant Arora. I read the document several times but could not find arthritis mentioned anywhere.

      Dear sir,

      I, the undersigned, Sunil Mathew (Age 43) the medical policyholder for self and family from Appollo Munich, would like to bring the following facts for your kind consideration.

      1. I had taken the policy for my family and me from Apollo Munich from February 2015 onwards which has been renewed from time to time.

      2. On 12/03/2018 my wife Mrs. Shiji Sunil Mathew was admitted to Bansal hospital at Bhopal for treatment on acute abdominal pain and vomiting. She was operated on 14/03/2018 after the diagnosis of Tubal Ectopic pregnancy and was discharged on 16/03/2018.

      3. As per the terms and conditions of the policy I requested the hospital authorities to apply for cashless facility and accordingly the hospital submitted the claim to the insurance company.

      4. On this I received communication from the insurance company on 13/03/2018, indicating that the cashless facility cannot be granted due to non-disclosure of material facts (Carcinoma breast prior to policy period).

      5. Further, I received a communication from insurance company giving notice of 30 days for termination of policy on the ground of non submission of material facts (carcinoma in the breast 18 years back), for which I had replied to the Insurance company on 19/03/2018 stating that there was no carcinoma, and the hospital doctor had inadvertently written on the admission sheet of patient about the illness (which was not correct). The letter written by the hospital doctor Priya Bhave Chittarwar which is explaining the fact is attached herewith for your reference.

      6. In the meantime I fully paid the hospital payments and applied the company for reimbursement of the hospital bills, amount of Rs. 97861.00 at the time of discharge.

      7. On receipt of my claim for reimbursement the insurance company deputed their doctor at our residence for further check up and to verify the facts. He submitted report to them and we got the reimbursement of the claim on 18 April 2018, amount of 87607.00, which means the policy was in vogue and the claim was rightly settled.

      8. Later on 18/06/2018, i.e. after 3 months, I received communication from the insurance company indicating that they had terminated the policy on the ground of non-disclosure of material facts. In this condition I had written to the company on many occasions, explaining the facts that there was no case of Carcinoma in the past and the comments were inadvertently written on the case paper. This fact has already accepted by the senior doctor of the hospital who is HOD, in her letter.

      The company has not taken heed to my repeated requests for continuing the policy, and has discontinued the same.

      From the above facts it is clear that there was no case of non-submission of material facts at the time of taking the policy on my side. Further I am willing to undertake any medical checkup of my wife at any reputed hospital (which is on the panel of insurance company in Bhopal) for their confirmation. I also declare that my wife had no carcinoma in the past and the comments of the hospital are wrongly mentioned (for which they have already clarified).

      I, therefore request you to kindly intervene in the matter and instruct the insurance company to reconsider my case and reinstate the policy at the earliest.

      Sir, I am sure that after studying my case you will certainly do the justice and do the needful in this regard.

        The patient was admitted in the thunga hospital by dr. Swami parmar, the senior most g p, because of the reason that the the patient was restless due to severe pains in the entire body, and was not able to stand properly.
        Doctor diagonosis was polyneuropathy withpoly arthralgia.
        As the patient was unstable doctor advised admission, n the patient was admitted.
        Doctor was kind enough to get arrange the pathalogical tests done immidiately along with mri ncv study for both upper n lower limbs.
        Because of the results of the reports being normal, n the patient was stable with the medication through out the day n the night, doctor advised discharge from the hospital the very next day.
        This seems to be the reason of the rejection of our claim, we should have stayed in the hospital for a couple of days on the expense of apollo n the
        Then sent our papers of claim,
        Because of the fact that the learned doctor advised discharge immidiately after he found the patient being stable n the pains diminished, your company rejected our claim presuming that the the required tests could have been done without hospitalisation.
        How could your doctors sitting miles away from the hospital decide whether the patient required hospitalisation or not is a big mystry.? On what basis they have challenged the decision taken by a doctor of the repute of dr. Swami p armar.
        The decision taken by the insurance company is desperate n absolutely prejudiced,
        We want justice n ouur claim be passed.

          It's been more then 2 months .. i am regularly following up with Apollo Munich Customer Care for Adding up my New born daughter into my exicting policy, Which is in force since 2009... But always they give assurance for best services

          After so many follow ups there is not even a single call back from there end. Now I really dnt know what to do ..

            I booked an international flight in makemytrip.com with booking id: nn[protected]. I have selected apollo munich travel insurance during booking. Once the ticket was booked, i received a travel insurance with complete wrong values in my passport number and dob fields. I don't know from where these values have been gathered and incorporated in the insurance.

            I have a visa interview in 2 days and i needed this document very urgent. I raised a complaint with makemytrip customer care with reference id:[protected]. I was promised that it will be resolved in 24hrs but now since it crossed the promised time by customer care and no corrected insurance copy yet!!

            I also raised a complaint with apollo munich with case id 4344451 but no response yet! I have been calling them to expedite the process but no response.

            I request to expedite the process otherwise i will have to sue the company for my loss of visa interview, flight ticket becoming invalid due to my inability to submit travel insurance to the schengen consulate general.

            I got a revised policy fro makemytrip now but the policy number does not exist as per apollo munich customer care. Have you sent a fake insurance by editing the fields?

            Attaching the latest policy sent by MMT

            Akhilesh Kumar Saxena, optima restore floater two years, 180100/11122/AA00837384. Dated 5 June2018 &individual personal accident policy no.180100/21002/[protected]. I have purchased above said policies on June 5, 2018.But I have not received the original policy documents till date.kindly search for the same and do the needful.

                i am your existing customer of apollo munich health insurance.My policy number is aa[protected]. I renewed my policy on 22 may 2018 and convert into optima restore policy.No hard copy of policy kit was deliver my home address till now.In between i talked many times and requested to agent mr. Ashok kumar gupta and apollo munich health insurance office mr. Dinesh kumawat but both of them are very careless and not sincere related to work of customer and your service.Mr. Dinesh kumawat gave the wrong information and loaded on the computer that' why apollo munich health insurance issued the wrong policy and amount rs. 11239 on 23 may, 2018 .But i issued the cheque rs. 14326 on 22 may, 2018. Many times i talked and requested to mr. Agent ashok kumar gupta and mr. Dinesh kumawat but both of them gave no response. The soft copy of wrong policy issued for me by the personally efforts to customer care officer by me. After this i contacted and talked to mr. Agent ashok kumar gupta and mr. Dinesh kumawat but both of them give no response.During this period family member of this policy number was ill and admitted in hospital but i was not used this policy benefit at that time.I enclosed receipt of amount rs 14326 on dated 22 may, 2018 and wrong policy issued by you on dated 24 may, 2018.Please take the action immediately against mr. Agent ashok kumar gupta and mr. Dinesh kumawat. And issue a correct policy kit to me .Both of them are convey the wrong message, response and down to your company image in market and customer side.

                    My mom was suffering from breathing problems, for 2-3 month, everyday evening after coming from office she use to find difficult in breathing, some wheezing sound while breathing, night couldn’t able to sleep and dry-cought, headache.,

                    We showed her in st. John hospical, local clinic, and did lung-scan etc in opd.. They said to ware breathing-mask, few suggestion & tablets etc., she took doctor precision for 1-2month., then went to doctor telling so cure, doctor said again to take lung-scan., they found out some-infection in lung.

                    Then our family doctor (Dr. Rudrappa – ex-ayush medical director at sdm ayush hospital (www.naturecure.org.in)) inspected my mom and said, the lung-infection got serious, you needed to undergo hospitalization & on his special request in sdm (www.naturecure.org.in) they gave immediate appointment there.,

                    Then my mom applied for loss-of-pay in her company for 10-days & undergone treatment for 10-days, the treatment costed 8k., but office 10-days loss-of-pay they cut ~ 35k cut in her salary., (Why i am telling this is apollo rejected telling, patient needed not get hospitalization) for above symptom’s.. (Is any famous hospitals fool to admit any patient for 10-days & patients is fool to apply 10-days leaving by losing 35k cut in her salary).

                    You can see in (Sdm ayush hospital (www.naturecure.org.in)) minimum hospililization is 10-days for ayurvedic treatment.,

                    Based on above facts, before apollo-munich rejected the claim telling even at serious breating problem patient need not get hospitalized,

                    After proving above said proof, now apollo are telling, as per they policy document its tells ayush treatment is covered, but naturopathy will not come under ayush and said, plz see in google minister of ayush (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ministry_of_AYUSH) (Ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy, unani, siddha and homoeopathy, abbreviated as ayush) and i have sent proof telling my mom undergone ayurveda-treatment,

                    After providing all above proof, apollo-munich is asking 15-days to tell weather to approve my claim or reject it by finding loopholes in they own set policy..

                      I am the holder of apollo munich health insurance policy from last 5 years and i have never been claimed anything before in my policy and for this reason every year i had got bonus from apollo munich health insurance company so that in future i can claim my treatment easily but in this current year 2018 i had suffered from "pancreatitis with uti with septicemia with hypothyroidism" which i have been diagnosed and after my treatment i have contacted apollo munich health insurance company's gurugram head office but they didn't responded properly.
                      In 2014 when i had took this policy the company's agent had verified all my documents and after all the formalities they have provided me this policy. And at the time of policy inception in 2014 i had no previous record of chronic obstructive airway disease (Coad) and hypertension which they have claimed in their rejection mail that i had been a victim of coad since 4-8 years but presently also i am not a victim of this disease and also my doctor has not given me any hypertension pills.

                        My plan is Click to Protect and I have a accident on 21 Nov 2017. I submitted all my original medical bills to HDFC Life and they send them to Apollo Munich in january.
                        But since then Apollo Munich is not able to do anything. they are not able to find my documents (original medical bills ) and every time when I call to there customer care they allways said that we are taking it on higher priority.
                        Sir don't make fool o[censored]s because higher priority work doesn't take 5 months to complete a work.
                        This is hike of a frustration to me, and I don't know what to do with these life insurance fakes.

                          I had a operation for kidney stones last week. However when i called cust care they said there is a waiting period of 2 years. However my employer informed me that i have a corporate/group policy that means everything is covered in it. I went online ams searched the benefits or group policy and i found that in group policy there is no waiting periods all things are covered in it. However i asked apollo.                             Apollo munich is one of the fraud company which motto is grab yours hard earn money, they never settled the claim. If you buy this health policy it will be trap for you.
                            I was seek and admitted by doctor in max hospital and i have paid 45ooo rs. Cash as a bill but apollo munich has denied to settle my claim as state that my lab test are not positive, while doctor admitted because i was unable to stand on my feet due to high vertigo and vomiting, even doctor has issue medical certificate for me however apollo munich has denied to settled my claim
                            So never go to apollo munich look some others

                                This is a worst health insurance... Took my health insurance optima restore policy for me n my wife in the mnth of june 2017... Kishore executive assured all fake policy details of addition of my kid into policy on 3 rd day of birth... But i didn't happen.. Now my child is 8 mnths old... N till now he is not added along with us in the policy... Bad service quality n fake details of ploicy given by the executive in an eager to sale the policy for their targets n making customers big fools... Never recommend such policy to any one... Need to be back of these executives for these updates...

                                  My father has taken a health policy in the 1st week of march and still the company has not send hard copy and at the time of selling the policy the agent was assuring me that the after sale service is very good. We are trying to contact him from last 15days but sometime he says that he is busy and sometime he says that i will do it in next 3-4 days. I am pissed off with the kind of service appollo munich is providing. Please don't buy any kind of product or services from appollo or else you will regret for the same. I will never recommend anyone.

                                    My name is Suman Mallela, I have taken the Heath Insurance Policy in Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company in the
                                    Year[protected] with the Policy Number AA00213929 in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000 Paid First Premium Rs.19446.50
                                    Renewed for Year[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name MaximaSum Assured Amount 300000, Paid Second Premium Rs.19446.50
                                    Renewed for Year[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000, Paid Third Premium Rs.19446.50
                                    They also increased the premium since the Insured Member age is crossed 60 Years from 19446.50/- to 29301/- I have paid the premium amount before the due date that mean earlier than the actual policy start date.
                                    Renewed for[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000, Paid Premium amount 29301/- before the Due date but the Policy term is not started when they raise the termination notice. So I have the receipt of the payment made.
                                    Every Year I take my father for Health Check up same way we have done the health checkup in Manipal Hospital Old Airport road Bangalore on 27th March 2018 and the doctor asked my father do you have any problem then my father replied that I will become tied if I walk and claim then he suggested to do angiogram test then in the same day we decided to the test and admitted him for cash less approaching the Apollo Munich Health Insurance help desk.
                                    Rather collecting the reports from hospital they force me to submit all the old reports which I have in the name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela hence I found few very old reports of Treadmill test and gave the same with the help desk.
                                    They have rejected the claim for the angiogram test and I have paid from my own pocket around Rs.20000/-
                                    We got the reports on the same day that he is perfectly all right I thought I will go for reimbursement.
                                    After we discharge from hospital I received SMS from Apollo Munich Insurance Company about terminating the Policy Number AA00213929 in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela for Non disclosing the old reports.
                                    While I was applying for the policy I have clearly explained the Apollo Insurance Company employee about the previous history for Policy Member Mr Subbarayudu Mallela.
                                    The Apollo Munich Insurance Employee guided me that Apollo Munich Insurance Company will prefer the Insured Member to do the Health checkup Process and if the Member has any issues Apollo Munch Insurance will not Issue the Policy.
                                    Same way they gave the preferred hospital name and the insured member attended the Health Checkup Process and the reports were sent to directly to Insurance company and the Health Checkup Process has the ECG/Treadmill test and they said the member is perfectly alright and issued the Policy in the same month and year.
                                    Now the Apollo Munich Insurance company terminating the policy since the Member of the Policy age is crossed 60 Years, in india insurance companies are not interested to provide the insurance who cross the age of 60 Years since the Insured Member age also crossing the age of 60 they are finding the problems of the patents and terminating the policy.
                                    Before Issuing the Policy the Insured Member is already attended the Health Checkup Process initiated by Apollo Munich Insurance Company and after checking the all the health reports the Insurance Company issued the policy in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela.
                                    Note: I called the Apollo Insurance Company to discuss about the issue which is created by the company on the Policy Number AA00213929 in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela.
                                    They are not ready to discuss about the issue, when I ask about[protected] Premium which I have paid before the due date if you are terminating the policy do I get the refund they replied that we will not refund the premium even though the services are not yet started.
                                    If Insurance Companies are looting the money without services I am really sad and irritated about the companies how they are making money by looting from common man.

                                    after making the premium for the next year and the age of the insured member is crossed 60 years Apollo Minuch Insurance Company terminating the policy they have taken the insured member to hospital for the Health Checkup process after they verifying the health reports they issued the policy i paid total 4 times premium and when the age is crossed 60 years and the premium is paid they terminated the policy and they are not ready to refund the premium for which the policy term is not yet started.

                                    They should get punished and i will make sure i will not leave them since like me how many non educated persons hard earn money looting by such companies?

                                      My name is Suman Mallela, I have taken the Heath Insurance Policy in Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company in[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000 Not claimed in the first year, Paid Premium[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name MaximaSum Assured Amount 300000 not claimed in the second year also, Paid Third Premium[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000 Not Claimed any thing in the Third Year, Paid Fourth Year[protected] with the Policy Number AA[protected] in the Name of Mr Subbarayudu Mallela Policy Name Maxima Sum Assured Amount 300000 .

                                      My Father had breathing problem so did health check up in 2013 they suggested to do angiogram test we did it and they said there is a block in D3 50% nothing that's common it's not in main branches use ECO SPRINE AV 75M Tablets.

                                      Recently i have take to health checkup in Manipal Hospital Bangalore we said there was block in D3 and now he is having breathing problem while he is walking the doctor suggested to do angiogram test again they found nothing this time even D3 also clear.

                                      I have claimed the cashless claim through Apollo Munich Help desk in manipal bangalore old airport road. the one who guided if you have any previous reports please submit rather submiting the same day reports i have given 2013 angiogram test reports which is not relevant to the claim.

                                      By end of that day the rejected the claim non-disclosing the previous decease i was surprised to see that is it a decease..!

                                      Dear Subbarayudu Mallela, we regret that the cashless request for Subbarayudu Mallela is rejected. Call us at [protected].For quick and easy access to view the claim status you may login on.

                                      It just a test and there is no surgery happened for that.i thought i can go for reimbursement i have collected all the reports from the hospital that he is perfectly alright no block found.

                                      next morning i received SMS from Apollo Minuch as below:
                                      Dear MR Suman Mallela, notice for termination of your policy number AA[protected] in view of non -disclosure has been sent to your registered address. Please contact your agent or call[protected] for more details. Team Apollo Munich

                                      I contacted the Apollo Munich insurance Customer care they said your policy is terminated because of non-disclosure the claim fall under he year[protected] Policy unfortunately i have paid the premium for the next year also for[protected] around 30K the customer case lady told we will not refund the premium even tho the services are not started it's your mistake.

                                      When i recollect when i apply for the policy i have informed the agent about the test he said nothing to worry sir our company will send the policy member to hospital after checking everything we will issue the policy same way they have charged me 5k for test and did ECG also and they said the policy member is perfectly alright so we are issuing the policy.

                                      now they are saying since you have made mistake of non disclosure we terminated and we will not refund the next year premium also.

                                      I would like to file a case since the company is cheating by giving false information and by looting the money from normal common man 30k money with out providing the service and rejecting the claim amount 40K and terminating the policy by cheating the customer.

                                      I am not getting the help and no proper discussion arranged from the Apollo Munich.

                                      Here my point is they have issued the policy after checking the all tests and in that ECG also one of the Test which will give about the heart issues.

                                      They have agreed that the test done by Apollo Munich recommended hospital is perfect and then issues the policy.

                                      30K premium with out giving the services they don't want to refund for a common man it's not a small amount and the company stopped the policy and they rejected the claims is this the right way? i want to file consumer complaint against apollo munich insurance company they should not cheat any customer like this.

                                      No I am going to file a complaint on Apollo Munich since they are cheating the customers by taking the money.
                                      Here my point is they have issued the policy after taking the member to hospital and they did ECG and the reports are went to Apollo Munich and verified and then they issued the policy if the customer forgot why their doctor is not able to find the problem while they took the checkup for issuing the policy.

                                      They are cheating by taking some reports which is submitted by the member since there was no issue in the reports.

                                      Here the Insurance company is looking the Member age is crossing the 60 years and entered in to 61 so they want to terminate the policy that to after making the premium of around 30K not even started when they reported that they will terminate the issue this means they are cheating the customers for a common man 30K is not small amount and i will not leave this issue they are not even want to disclose the issue with consumer Complaints portal please make a note of that.
