Dear sir/madam,

I bought a new car Maruthi Suzuki Swift VD-i, registration no: TN07 BT 4889. It has Apollo Amazer 3G tyres, These new tyres has got dent and i didnt notice it at the time of purchase, but recently one of the tyre got punctured, so i took it to the puncture repair shop and the puncture guy said he cant do the puncture because the tyre got dent and its not advisible to put puncture and drive, it is not safe.
Since it is a new car and it has warranty i took it to the showroom and complained to the customer service guy that the tyre has got dent and it had to be replaced. The customer service guy in the maruthi show room said that, go and meet the apollo tyres showroom and they will resolve your problem. Over there in the apollo tyres showroom, they said it is a design and all the tyres are being manufactured like this only and your tyre can't be replaced...

So i need to bring it to ur notice and get my problem resolved... What can be done... Kindly advise...

It has been a pathetic experience with my Apollo tyres every since I purchased my i20 in the month of August 2012.

I cannot express my dissatisfaction which I am putting across in this fashion.

I had taken Hyundai I20 from Laskhmi Hyundai showroom located in Miyapur, Hyderabad. Within five months, all 5 tyres of my car have gotten punctured. This really depressed me because I never thought that I will ever have such horrendous experience with Apollo tyres.

One of my tyres had bulged and the tread was not in correct shape. I contacted one of the local tyre shop guy and he asked me not to use it as it may bulge further and cause further damage.

I approached Lakshmi Hyundai Deepthi Sree Nagar, Miyapur Service Center to get my tyre replaced. Within a week, I get to know that my warranty has been rejected merely because they confirmed that the tyre has been damaged due to the puncture. I am really surprised with such a stupid answer from a company like Apollo. Had it really been a problem with the puncture then how come rest of my 4 tyres are in good shape. Can you guys really prove it me personally that the damage is only because of the puncture.

Though it is not related but yes let me put it across. Many of i20 owners are really disappointed with the Apollo tyres. I don't understand why Hyundai is still sticking to this company if it is really a problem. It is high time that Hyundai thinks about changing its vendor.

APOLLO I need proper explanation from you guys and someone prove it in front of me that the puncture has caused the damage.

Awaiting for any response from Apollo tyres as eager as possible since this is quite urgent and when u offer 1 year of warranty for any tyre, this shouldn’t be something you should be doing at your end. It is definitely misleading your customers and a worst service.

I brought 4 Set of New Appolo Accelere 185/65 R-14 from M/s Arihant Tyres, Toranagallu, Bellary Dist, Karnataka on . The Tyre fitted at Hyundai Service Center & alignment and balancing was done. Within 200 Kms after fitment in the Front Right wheel a bump of approx. 8" appeared on the rim. I approached the dealer, who in-turn sent the Tyre to M/s Appolo Tyre - Go-down in Hospet after a weeks follow up.
After further delay of a week the Service Engineer says the Tyre cannot be replaced as its an Impact Break.

Please note the Bump is on its rim & this was surely due to week Rubber quality.

After one month now, one more Tyre is getting a similar kind of a bump on the left rear wheel.

I have purchased Hyundai I20 passenger car in November 2011 from Sri Jayalakshmi Hyundai, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh showroom. This car came fitted with APOLLO 185/65 R14 86 II ACELERE TL-D TUBELESS RADIALS including the spare one.

One fine morning in August 2012, while I was visually checking the tyre pressures before I set onto the road for a long drive, I have noticed a small bubble of size 5 to 8 millimeters on the front RH tyre wall. At this time the car has just done less than 6000 KM. Immediately I went to a professional tyre shop in my area and swapped the defective tyre with the spare one and asked the same technician to examine and advise his opinion on the defective tyre.
After a close examination, he confirmed that it is a minor manufacturing defect, nevertheless, it is not safe to use as the defect could propagate and lead to tyre burst. He also advised me that it can be repaired with vulcanizing from inside to gain full strength and can be used as a spare type. As a second option, he suggested to install a tube in the tubeless tyre.

However, since the tyre is still under warranty, I have taken it to the nearest APOLLO tyre dealer in Rajahmundry for evaluation for warranty claim. The tyre was retained by them for examination. Since the car doesn’t have a spare tyre, I have purchased a new tyre from the dealer then and there.
After few days, I have received a call from the tyre dealer saying that the defect is not from manufacturing and cannot be replaced under warrantee and advised me to collect the tyre back. The following week I went to their shop to collect the tyre. After I was kept on waiting for nearly 45 minutes I was advised to come some other time as the tyre could not be located in their shop and the concerned person is on vacation. Again I went to them after another 2 weeks and the story is still the same this time also. At this point of time, the tyre dealer advised me that I will be informed over the phone as soon as the tyre is found with them.

To my surprise, 3 months passed until today and they have not contacted me and not responding to my calls. From the foregoing, what I presume is, since the tyre is pretty new and has only a minor defect which can be readily rectified and used, this might have been sold in the seconds market by one of the staff members. This kind of acts is not unusual with these people.

Now my concern is, I shall either get back my defective tyre or a replacement tyre from Apollo. I searched their website to take up this matter with their sales/customer support department and lodge a complaint. Astonishingly, no email address is given in the “contact us” section of their website. I think this is another dirty trick played by Apollo to keep discouraging their customers from making any online complaints.

Nowadays, while most of the companies in such business have a very good customer support base with email addresses and toll free numbers published on their websites, this particular Apollo Tyres is hiding themselves. This is not going to help their business in the long run.
Can anybody please help me in providing their email address or advise me how to contact Apollo to take up this case with them.

TYRE BLASTED WHILE RUNING
I baught chevrolet spark 1 months back. I was driving on highway suddenly my Traveller force front tyre blasted it was my good conduct that nothing happened to me and my family that day. I went for replacement as it was under warrenty and run only 5000 kms but inspector over there said it might have hit any metal or sharp stone. It was really very frustrating as i was driving on TIKAMGARH-JHASI-GWALIOR highway at 90 kmph from where this bloody stone would have come. One more interesting thing that he said Why i got its punchred done otherwise he could have replaced tyre. i was travelling on highway i had to have a backup who knew what worse was waiting for me.DEALER GWALIOR TYRE HOUSE ROSHNI GHAR ROAD GWALIOR. i mean he was talking rubbish and senseless and making me feel that i am biggest lier of this world. It was really like attacking at one’s morals character.
I request you to please look into this matter and assure that noone else has to suffer so much as i did.

Sir,
I have purchased four tyres of Apollo Tyres on 15/07/11. After running about 2000 KM, one tyre gets cracked. And this crack is on non-working area (area which doesn't touches the ground.). The Dealer has sent the tyre at apollo agency but the officer sitting there says no to change the tyre as tyre was not cracked but was due to our own mistake.
but I have all, the points to justify myself. Please let me know the procedure to move ahead to approach the way so that I can get the replacement of the same.

I have bought 4 tyres from one of the Appolo Dealers named Reliance Tyres located in Varinder Nagar, Janakpuri. While going on the plain surfaced road of Sector 23 Rohini, which is a very smooth road One of the tyres got pucntured and when i showed the tyre to Dealer, he upfrontly said that this is an external injury and hence cannot be replaced, I raised a formal complaint with Appolo on May 29 which was attended by a technician named Anub Antony in GURGAON who inspected the tyre and said its an external injury hence cannot be replaced.

I am very upset about the fact that how these people are looking at this scenario, On a plain road tyre gets puctured and immediately gets deflated on road with no sharp object in the tyre hence indicating a tyre defect I thought that Appolo is a leader and believes in high quality products however after this kind of a experience i would never ever reccomend appolo to any one.

This is not it ....... bloody dealer also missold this tyre stating that its a 8 layer tyre while i noticed on the tyre, it is mentioned as 5 layers.

I am very dissatisfied of the tyre as I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THAT HOW CAN A TYRE BE RAGGED ON A PLAIN SURFACE WITHING 7 DAYS OF BUYING THE SAME.

I want this complaint to reach appollo to make them realize the quality of products they are manufacturing.

Can there be any one who can help me in this regard.

This is to bring in your concern that I have purchased a Apollo Tyre for my Truck form apollo dealer in chaibasa, jharkhand. But within 15 days it got brusted while running on smooth road,I had complained the same to the dealer he told he will file a complain, but in reply Apollo replied that it got brusted due to overload (which is rubbish) or might get on stone, now one can tell apollo that tyres do not burst on plain road on highway when it is just 15 days old.

I have paid a RS 16,500 for that tyre and it got brusted without pay back. Kindly take the matter seriously. Wating for a early and positive response.

I am using a Maruthi swift Diesel for the past 3.5 years.actually last june i had changed my four tyres and purchased appolo accelere 195/60R 15 from one of the leading Dealer(global tyres,kundannur) in Cochin.Actually after 1 month period the new tyre got blasted when i was travelling wth my wife and kid at 9.30 night tfrom calicut to cochin and me and my family narrowly escaped from an accident also.

I have visited the same dealer to raise the complaint for this but they were not interested to listern my problem.they were very much interested to replace the tyre at the earliest.As i am very much need for the vehicle at the eariest and i was not in a position for an argument.i was compelled to pay RS4350 for them.(they might be claimd the same).

i would like to understand some factors from you that

1)On what basis are you giving guarntee to the tyres?
2)why the dealerships are not relacing the tyre as the new tyre had been purchased only one month back.
3)who will answer that something happened to my family because such a low quality tyres?
4)why the dealerships are not listerning about customer complaits rather than they are looking for some profit making out of it?
5)why the tyre has blasted within one month after the purchese?
6)Why the dealers are taking money from the customer for again purchase a new tyre instead o[censored]nderstd him the problems and proceedure?

if such things are happening to a customer like me,how can i refer my friends & relatives to purchase appolo tyres.

If you can solve this things for a customer then this will be more helpful for others also..

hope you could have solve the problem within a short span of time...

This is with ref to my car tyre (tyre make- Apollo) which is got burst just few day back and i have complained to my showroom(regent automobile) from where I have by this car, From there I have got your Apollo technical representative contact and I called up Mr.Anotony ([protected] SAI TYRE AGENCY, gurgaon) he had inspected tyre and without any logical reason trying to convinced me that it was a external injury then he sad may be its internal defect of rim i have asked to show him he had fail to show me any kind of internal defect then i asked to him for their senior management contact he has gave me Mr. Sachindra Kothari([protected]), I am telling you sir that was the most worst moment in my life to contact this gentlemen sorry to say but this guy not deserve the word gentlemen I called up to this guy for solution but this guy not ready to listen me and giving me excuse only excuse I have said pls try to complete me once but this guy said I have got the report
from technician again i have requested that guy to listen my side also but he had meshed with me but not ready to listen, Now my concern is that this is the way to deal with customer I know Apollo tyre as big brand in tyre industries we are also deals in service and we never think about part cost in front of customer satisfaction we people (canon India) recognised for service as no one company in our industries. I bought a new Hyundai i20 in September 2010 from the dealer , Advaith Motors pvt ltd, Vasanth nagar , Bangalore. The car was delivered with brand new Appollo tubeless tyres. On[protected], I noticed a bulge in the front right tyre side wall. There is no external damage or breakage noticed on tyre. Threrfore I presumed that the defect was due to faulty manufacture and accordingly I approached the dealer top replace the tyre. The tyre was sent to Appollo tyres for technical evaluation. On such evaluation the warranty claim has been rejected on the ground that the defect is due to 'Impact brake". I wish to emphasise , being a laymen , I do not understand this technical jargon. All I know is that there is no external evidence to show that there is any abuse to the tyre, like a break or cut etc. As far as impact is concerned, the tyre is meant to take impacts of Indian roads, otherwise it should be deemed that the quality of the tyre is defective since the vehicle has just run 6000km. What do i do next.

It was really very frustrating as i was driving on CHD- SHIMLA highway HILLY AREA at 65 kmph from where this bloody stone would have come. One more interesting thing that he said Why i got its punchred done otherwise he could have replaced tyre. i was travelling on highway i had to have a backup who knew what worse was waiting for me. I was very much disaapointed by the arguments of that inspector comes there at NATIONAL TYRES PATIALA M-[protected]. i mean he was talking rubbish and senseless and making me feel that i am biggest lier of this world. I purchased tubeless tyres ( 4 No. ) from Tyre House ,Golghar,Gorakhpur vide cash memo no. 5278 dt.[protected]. When I drive my car I fill Uncomfortable.
I went to my car dealer for Wheel Alignments & balancing. Then I knew that the tyre is not tubeless but it is Tube Tyre. The dealer has mentioned in cashmemo that tyre is tubeless. Now he is saying that there is no difference between both.

The Company has refused to give us Credit notes for the Fourth Quarter 2009-10, even after the fact that they had committed for the same time and again. We have stopped dealing with the company since April 2010 under the same pretext. The total of Credit notes aount to Rs 1,80,000.00 (appx)

We have time and again followed with the company and various of its officals but to no avail. The Staff at Himachal office says (unofficially) that we should get the credit notres but officially they refuse to give any Credit notes saying that it is not in the Company Policy and that no commitment was made.

However there is plenty of circumstacial evidence to prove that it was faliure on the part of the Company due to which the target was not completed. The company is not ready to accept the onus and is making us suffer on this account.

We feel we have been CHEATED, DUPED and MISLEAD by the Company and its Officials and the turns of events has been unethical and prdujiced from the Companies point of view.

I had bought the TATA ACE EX NO. UK04CA-3467 from AMIT AUTO MOBILE PVT LTD.(Teenpani, Haldwani) an authorised dealer of TATA MOTORS, the tyres of the TATA ACE EX was defected and are within the warranty period..It was got as a stepney tyre with vehicle & not used for a single minute, the manufacturer of the tyres is apollo tyres. ltd. we had complained to Apollo Tyres for this matter but they have sent the rejection letter and misbehaved with us.
we wants you to take appropriate action in this matter.

Despite several request did not replace the tyre so far. I hereby claiming that tyre has got manufacturing defect. It’s lying at Amit Auto Mobile pvt ltd from 2 months & still waiting for positive respnce.

Request your kind intervention on the issue to replace the tyre.

in this tyre the bid broke in the tyre 5 place, we got this type of diffect in many tyres, but when we claim the tyres in apollo tyres then servies engnieer Mr, Shailendra Singh Jain told us that the diffect is ring failure, so pls advice us what to do, we are in very bad troubble, pls Do needfull ASAP,

Hi,
I purchased Astra Hyundai i-20 which came with Tubeless Apollo Tyre (warranty period of 1 yrs).
After using it for few months less than 400 kms one of the Tyre developed an Air bubble, which shows
air entered inside it.

Forwarded my complaint to Korba(Chatisgargh) Hyundai showroom who refused to take it and told me to contact Appollo Tyres agency Bilaspur (nearby city) directly, after waiting for more than 2 months Apollo Tyres sent me a letter saying that its not manufacturing defect so it can't be covered in warranty period .

Since I've driven less than 400kms in neat road without any mark of cut and other bruises on my Tyre or any other mark, Apollo company is not taking its responsibility of owning it as "Manufacturing Defect" where Air Bubble developed which means Air is entering inside tubeless Tyre.

A very irresponsible explanation on Tyre company Apollo's part was frustrating. How can I take this matter since my Tyre is under warranty period of one yrs, Moreover Apollo Tyre website doesn't have helpline line number or any other complaint number along with email where customer can contact them,

Kindly suggest !!
