I have purchased chevrolet beat from TRIDENT CHEVROLET,BANGALORE.
The car came with APOLLO ACCELERE tyres.The tyre blasted while running just after 900 km.I was travelling with my family in the car,and this incident happened on bangalore-mysore high way.We escaped miraculasly from an accident,with monor extended damage to the car.
After comming back,i claimed the tyre under warrenty.12 days after long struggle,the officer from apollo tyres came and inspected the tyre and said this damage is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRENTY.
The explanation given by him was the funniest part:'Tyre is in contact with road,and anything can happen!!'
He said,some sharp object hit on the tryre and it is cut open,and this is not a manufacturing defect.

Bangalore-mysore highway is such a neat road,and this blast haponed while running on the road.Tyres are meant to touch road while running,and the explanation what they gave,with all due respect,is a stuppid one.

Kindly let me know,if there is any way that court can help me on this issue.The safety of my family was compromised by chevrolet by providing such a low quality tyres on car and by appolo tyres by manufacturing low quality tyres and not providing service provided by them.

I have purchased a new chevrolet beat,which came with apollo tyres(Model-ACELERE).Just after running 1200 KM,the trye blasted with a loud noice.

I have some extended damage on my car due to the blast.
Now company is telling they have to inspect the tyre first and it will take another 4 days minimum for the officer to come and check the tyre.

I was travelling with my family,and if something could have happened to our lifes,who will be responsible for that?Who is going to answer for the extended damage caused to my new car?How much i have to spend again,only for the reason that i purchased a car with Apollo Tyres?

Hi.. Am sandesh. I have a maruti alto 2008 model. The unused spare tyre has developed a bubble and i have taken it to the Apollo tyer dealer at pampamahakavi road in chamarajpet, bangalore. i am sure that is a manufacturing defect but when the engineer had a look at the tyre he said that "it cannot be replaced because you have driven the car with a flat tyre (Punctured)". I have not used the spare tyre at all. But he is reluctant to accept the fact. Please help me to resolve this issue so that the tyre is replaced.

We recognized almost 50 punctures in the apollo tubeless tyre at a time
The tyre has been already deposited in TIRUPATI HYUNDAI,Kanpur.
I have also complained about the problem at toll free no.
Our complaint no. is[protected].

Please consider to our problem and reply as soon as possible

My new vehicle Force traveller (tyre size 215) was fitted with apollo tyres. within 15000 km done tyre bluging at sides came. I report this at my dealer and he gave a letter to apollo tyres. this procedure took delay of 10 days.
2nd step: i called apollo tyres and they gave only directions to call another No:. Atlast i got the number of the godown and they told me no stock! my vehicle is a contract carrier and was running with this damaged tyre. I called them frequently and on 18-feb-2010 i got the answer of yes. i send my vehicle and at that time they told you have to pay 50% - 55%.
I paid 4,391.00 for exchanging two damaged tyres.(invoice no:[protected], order No: [protected].) from Apollo godown:TP5/195, Kaithapadathu Ware house, Cochin Public School Road, Thrikkakara, Kochi, Kerala, 682021.
This damage is not of my mistake. We can run a tyre about 45000 kms average and if doing one resole again[protected] kms. ( JK tyre and MRF).
Please do actions to get guaranteed service from Apollo tyres.

TYRE NOT EVEN LASTED 2000 KMS

I WOULD JUST LIKE PUT A COMPLAINT OF THE TUBELESS TYRES OF APOLLO WHICH ARE THE WORST IN THE MARKET.MY SPARK,LT MODEL CAR WHICH I HAVE PURCHASED SIX MONTHS BACK WAS FITTED BY APOLLO TUBE LESS TYRES .I WAS DRIVING IT ON THE WAY TO MY OFFICE THEN TYRE GOT DEFLATED INSTANTLY THERE WAS NOT PIERCING SINCE IT WAS CLOSE TO THE RIM BUT A CRACK LINE CAME,I DON’T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TO DO,IT HAS ONLY LASTED 1300 KMS IMAGINE A TYRE WHICH CAN BURST OR CRACK ON GOING ON A ROAD JUST BY CROSSING OVER OF A SMALL STONE .HOW CAN WE TRUST THE APPOLO COMPANY TYRES PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS REGARD.

we had bought the wagon car lxi model on[protected] of car no.- dl8cnb7452 from an authorised dealer of maruti udyog ltd. named T.R.Sawhney motors pvt. ltd. the tyres of the car were defected and are within the warranty period. the manufacturer of the tyres is apollo tyres. ltd. we had complained to Apollo Tyres for this matter but they have sent the rejection letter and misbehaved with us.

Dear Sir,

I, RAJESH KAKKAR, resident of Flat no. 138, DDA SFS Flats, Pocket 2, Sector 11, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110075, would like to bring to your kind notice the bad quality of Radial Tyre and harrasment suffered by myself through one of the leading Tyre Manufacturing company, i.e APOLLO.

I had purchased two tyres of APOLLO from M/s Excellent Tyres (Auth. Dealer of Apollo) on 12/04/09 vide invoice no. 963; for my Verna Car DL 4CS /8333. On 25th June 09, I went to M/s Exellent Tyres for alignment of wheels. On the shop itself we find one small nail in one of the front tyres.

While in the process of repairing the punture the rubber of the tyre is so soft that it cann't able to ressist the punture. So I requested the owner Mr. Gulzar of M/s Excellent Tyres to get the same replaced as the rubber of the tyre is quite soft to ressist the punture, so its a maufacturing defect and also the tyre is just two month old and hardly runs 3000 kms.

Mr. Gulzar agreed to put forward the complaint in front of Apollo official Mr. Rajiv Sharma ([protected]). After getting assurance from Mr. Gulzar I left the tyre at his shop. In the evening I got a call from Mr. Rajiv Sharma and without even seeing the tyre he informed me that it is not a manufacturing defect so we can not replace the tyre. On my repeated request he agreed to see the tyre in the next 1-2 days. On 2nd July 09 when I try to contact Mr. Rajiv Sharma he is not reachable, so I contacted Mr. Gulzar, he infomed me that as Mr. Rajiv Sharma was on leave so the matter is still pending as it was. But he assures me to get the same done latest by 6th July 09

On 6th July 09, I was surprised to know that Mr. Rajiv Sharma having the same opinion that it was not a manufacturing defect, so I was advied to use the same tyre with tube in it.

Sir, I would like to put forward my complaint as below :-

As a consumer, a tyre should ressist the punture and if it can not ressist the same then its a manufacturing defect and if the company's representative ask me to use the same tyre with tube then it means that tyre is not fit to be a tubeless tyre as claimed by the company. And company is exploiting the lack of knowledge and awareness of the consumer and just making money by selling sub standard products.

So, I request you to please help me take below compensation : -
1. Replacement of tyre or Rs. 2900/-, being cost of the tyre.
2. Rs. 10, 000/- towards mental harrasment and time consumed for following with the company.

i m a fleet owner & customer of apollo tyres. i have purchased 108 tyres of apollo from apollo tyres dealer m/s bharat tyre works haldwani during oct/08 to dec/08 under some tv scheme.i got shocked when one officer of apollo tyres mr. neeraj agarwal said that their is no such scheme for uttranchal customer and he misbehaved with me.
i request you to please do justice and punish the officer who misbehaved with me

I am Amit Kumar Srivastava and left my previous employer Apollo Tyres Ltd, Gurgaon on June 18th, 2007. My PF was credited in government PF A/C No. HR/GGN/25847/714 at Gurgaon. After joining my current employer Castrol India Ltd, i applied for PF transfer to my new PF A/C at Mumbai. My application for transfer was sent to previous employer on 16th Aug 2007 but till date, it has not been done.
May i request all concerned to kindly look into this delay and resolve this ASAP.
