I use a mi 5 the approval process took a while with documents uploaded. My device was approved for repairs on 05th jan 2017. During the claim process their support was prompt with replies to every email and immediate call support.

Now its been over a month and i am still waiting for them to reply to my emails and calls. The current status show final status of this cin: total loss
Total loss: device beyond economic repair. Cheque will be dispatched to the customer on receipt of original invoice, box and accessories.

Send the all receipt of original invoice, box and accessories.

After that i have not received any updates, number of calls made to support but no answer. I am unable to get in touch with support for the past 1 months, no replies to email and no phone contact.

I have no idea when i am going to get my cheque!

    My claim was approved in february my phone (Iphone 6s) was declared as total loss. I have given original invoice, charger, usb cable, headphone and mobile box to courier boy. Now here is the problem start they start mailing me that please send us your original bill. I have the recieving of all the things given by me still claim cheque has not been processed. I tried to call customer care but its always busy. No response online. Its already eight months i am waiting

      I had taken a phone insurance from aaps you need. And my phone get down and i lost their dispaly. I claim to apps you need they picked up my phone before 137 days agoand i still dont get my phone. Khuleaam dakaiti kr rhe hai. Kindly give me support. Last 137 days i am trying to call then all customer care executive are very lean kabi phone mill bhi jaye they never relpy or give appropriate details

      But we not received chaque/payment from this company.Always company says ..Keep passion. I don't understand this this is clearly cheating.if issue is not going to be solved I will have to take some bitter step against company

        Respected sir/madam,
        I purchased Moto g4 plus on 15 September 2016 which i insured with Apps You Need IRN636620. This company insures the mobile phones for theft/physical damage. At the time of purchase they make so many promises. But when it comes to services. this company turns out to be complete fraud. I applied for claim (CIN PDJUL21195) my damaged phone on 21 july 2017. First they raised query on my documents three times. For which i provided all the relevant original documents. Every time thet raise some issue. But now there is no status regarding approval or disapproval of my claim. I repeatedly try contacting them but got no answer from their side.
        I have seen their Facebook page on which a lot of customers have same or similar issue with this company.

        This is regarding the same claim. My claim got approved on 21 aug 2017. Phone was picked up from my address to repair location on 22 aug 2017. It has been 1.5 months. I didn't get my phone back. When i call to the customer care. They keep on hold for 1-2 hours. Even after that they don't pick the phone. I checked the status of my phone on AUN app. Its shows that t"he phone will be picked up on 23 aug". There is no recent update of my phone. Not through call or application. Please do the necessary action against this company. They don't provide satisfactory services to their customers. There is no other way to contact my phone. Here is the receipt attached by which my phone was picked up.

        I have registered my claim vide DMAR16721in march and my claim approved on last of the april. since today i did not received my claim. i contect to company many time but i did not get any result regarding my claim. so kindly take action for my claim. your early action will be highly apprecate.

          I use a Samsung S7 when purchased i was give an option to purchase an insurance from AppsYouNeed I paid 3500 for the same last year.

          In June 2017 while travelling on the train my phone glass cover cracked, it was within warranty so i got in touch with AppsYouNeed. The approval process took a while with documents uploaded multiple times. Finally my device was approved for repairs on 11th June. During the claim process their support was prompt with replies to every email and immediate call support.

          Now its been over a month and i am still waiting for them to reply to my emails and calls. The current status show device was sent for repairs on 24th of June.

          After that i have not received any updates, number of calls made to support but no answer. I am unable to get in touch with support for the past 2 days, no replies to email and no phone contact.

          I have no idea when i am going to get my mobile back!

            I am using a s7 edge which i bought last year. It was working fine until yesterday when it accidentally fell and the gorilla glass broke. There is a crack mark on the right side corner of the phone. Since it is insured with irn587557 kindly let me know about the claim. Since i was been told about the accidental benefits with your company therefore i am expecting you will resolve the matter at the earliest. This is the only mobile phone using and it would be very difficult for me to use the phone in such a condition. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest and help me resolve the issue

            na mobile milega aur na hi reply..me pichle 117 days se bina mobile ke hu..mobile repair ke liye liya aur ab na to mobile ka pata chal pa raha h aur na hi is company ke employee ka..employee se baat karo to kahta h company ne use job se hata diya h..isse achha hota me hi use repair kara deta.

            koi sunne wala nahi h...aap lucky ho jo pahle pata chal gaya..warna hamse to acchi si bate karte huye mobile le gaye..

              Sir, my device was picked on 7th june, 2017 for repair. The device has no major issue, only the display was to be changed. Your policy says that the device will be delivered within 30 days from pickup but its been more than double of that, and still there is no status update for the device. The claim app has no update after 15th june, 2017. Every time i call customer care, they say my device will be dispatched within next 2-3 days, but its been 20+ days since they told me that.

              Now i am very frustrated with appsyouneed support. I want you to deliver my device as soon as possible. Also i need you to credit the extra days, that the device has been with you, to my insurance policy. I. E. My insurance policy expires on 24th march, 2018 which should be extended to reflect the extra days and should expire nearly after 5th may, 2018 if my device is delivered within next 5 days. Or more if it takes more time than that.

              On failure to do so, i would be forced to take legal action.

                My cin no is sd[protected]. My mobile had been pu under total losscategory on 01/03/2017. As per company policy cheque should be issued within 60 days but till now no information is there about anything. It s been more than six months from generation of cin. Everytime this company delayed process by saying some document is missing. You can have a look howmany days have past. And when my mobile was completely new why the company is depreciating its value to 50 percent. I dont understand this. This is complete fraudlaent practise. If the issue is not going to be solved i will have to take some bitter action against this company.

                  I gave my cell phone to the service centre through the apps you need insurance for liquid damage. According to the insurance companies guidelines, my cell phone should've been returned back to me 30 days after it has been received at the service centre. My mobile was received at 28 april 2017 and it still hasn't been returned back to me. I called numerous times but everytime their employees were busy and nobody would answer my call. I posted complaints on their website. They responded to three of my complaints but after that i posted 5 more times but they haven't even responded to it. I want my phone back and they're doing nothing about it.

                    I have repeatedly complain on apps you need need official website and had also email regarding the claim which are pending as the handset are received at service center since april 2017, please provide the exact status of the handset and the details of service center where the handset are given.

                      I purchased mobile insurance from them, Ins. Ref No. IRN798373, Policy[protected], INV: F0YQI[protected], 26 Oct, 2016
                      Raised a claim for damage of phone display sue to a collision, which was rejected for a frivolous reason saying damage shown in two different pictures did not match, however the pictures were matching and of same phone taken at same time and opportunity was given during or after rejection for me to provide any comments or proofs. I need my phone to be repaired as promised.

                        After lot of follow up and intervention of new india assurance i have received my hand set which had a broken lcd/touch panel, which apps you need had replaced with a duplicate one, the duplicate touch panel is not functioning, head phone was not working, volume up button not working and above that the courier company has charged rs. 500/-
                        On the next day i have visited the authorized service center of and they have said the quoted “touch with lcd found tempered and not the original one” for your reference the authorized service center report is attached.

                        I had 2 years manufacturer warranty which has been void as duplicate parts has been used.
                        I demand compensation for the above fraud

                          This is with reference to my cin djul21238 which was generated on 21st jul 2017 after calling on your helpline and reporting my case for screen damage. Customer care representative asked me to submit list of documents within 14 working days and they even mentioned that 02 days are require to review the documents and confirm back if not proper (Same is there in your email as well). I finally managed to upload the documents on 26th jul 2017 and surprisingly on 6th day i got an email stating that my documents are not proper as ‘child name & age is missing’. First of all i would like to clarify that all details were clearly mentioned in the 01st form as well and moreover why this query was raised on the 06th day o[censored]ploading the documents whereas your mail clearly says – 02 days!
                          Infact i uploaded the form again on 31st jul and today it is already 03rd august and there has been no status update! On 31st jul, after uploading the form again i tried calling on your helpline number thrice to check if all documents are ok now and could not connect as it was continuously kept on waiting (For about 7-8mins), this you will be able to check from your records.
                          There has been no call back/email from the company regarding status update and this clearly shows that you people are not interested in clearing my claim and are just wasting time.

                          Needless to state that you are service providers and this kind of deliberate mis-handling of the complaint will amount to deficiency of service and can lead to legal action against your company. As a final reminder i would request you to accept my claim and perform your responsibility expeditiously which as per the agreement you are mandated to perform. As a customer i would expect timely solution of the present situation and repair of my mobile by you (The insurance company).

                                I m chhaya bansal from delhi... Apps u need is a worst company.. My iphone 6s was declared as total loss just because its glass was broken 3 months back and no refund is given.. If we call them nobody picks the phone.. The cost of my phone was 40k and not a single penny is given... Neither they return my phone nor give any refund.. Such a bad experience.. Its a sheer harassment.. They should be punished. I want my money back as soon as possible

                                  I have filled an accidental claim against my iphone7 purchased on 19th december 2016 from invent store pitampura. The phone bill and the claim was on the name mehak khandelwal though the phone was being used by my brother tanishq khandelwal. He met with an accident which lead to breaking of the screen. He filed for the cliam & it was rejected on the grounds that he was not the owner of the phone. The other day they gave the reason that it can be claimed only by blood relations. My real brother is obviously is in my blood relation but now they are saying that they only include mother & father. When asked to give this in writing they refused. This insurance company is just fooling the people. They just need a reason to reject the claim nothing else. I even went to invent store to question them regarding their tie ups with such insurance companies then they said we have now stopped dealing with the insurance companies as they create lot of issues.
                                  I purchased the phone for 60, 000 and then spent 3500 for insurance which is of waste for me now. Such companies are just fooling the people nothing else.
                                  I want some actions to be taken against such companies so that people are not fooled. N i want my phone to be repaired or exchanged as soon as possible as i have already wasted lot of my time on this.

                                  First of all nobody updated me about the beneficiary clause at the time of taking the insurance. Secondly, if we apply for any life insurance policy then the entire family is covered. The phone was bought by me as my brother was minor that time and I gave him the same as a gift. My brother is of my blood relation only and he falls under the category of my near family only. So if parents or children are covered then I think brothers & sisters should also be covered in the same.
                                  Please prove on what grounds you are saying near family does not include real brother. Please read the Gadget insurance policy that have been extracted from www.avsomfed.org/asdocs/asgis15/gadget-policy.pdf.
                                  This clearly states that Family includes mother, father, son, daughter, brother & sister.
                                  You cannot just mold the policy as per your own comfort. I am filing the legal suit against this as your explaination is making no sense for me.

                                  Nobody has reverted on my complaint which means that the company has no answer to the point I raised. Apps U Need is just fooling people n will suggest all not to take this insurance policy in any circumstance.

                                        Sir i bought a htc one x9ds on 19th july 2016 from r g cellulars pvt ltd and it was insured by apps for you. The screen of the phone got broken on 5th march 2017. I contacted r g cellular on the next day and they asked me to fill out the insurance form. Subsequently my phone was picked up by ecom express pvt ltd on 8th march. I was told that i would get my phone repaired within a time limit of 50 days. To my utter suprise i got a message from apps you need on 3rd may 2017 that my phone was declared as total loss and i will be paid a certain amount of money as compensation for the insurance. I contacted rg cellular after this because i wanted my phone back but they refused and asked me to talk to apps you need. After having a conversation with the customer service of apps you need i was very disappointed with the service as i never agreed to the total loss and compensation scenario. They told me to pack the remaining accessories and it was picked up on 15th june 2017. I was told that i will be receiving a cheque of a certain amount as compensation at my home address within 30 days. But it's already been over 45 days and i have not even received a single message or an email about the same. Even my call is getting unanswered. I request the authorities to kindly look into the matter and help me as soon as possible.
