Hi, On Friday (20/09/13), I had bought a showpiece item ( a dog statue inside a bag) & asked the Archies team to packed it properly & take precaution as the gift will be couriered outside Delhi. The Archies people gave assurance that the gift has been packed properly. Yesterday, the gift reached to its destination & to my dismay, I got to know that the gift was completely broken & received in many pieces. I was utterly shocked as it was a birthday gift. It was totally carelessness on the Archies team to have taken the situation so lightly when I had stressed upon repeatedly that it will be delivered outside Delhi. I want an immediate redress to my query. If not taken action, then please refund the money immediately incurred in buying the gift. Suman Noida.

Archies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Even a small child will know that if a gift is to be sent by courier it needs to be packed providing protective thermocol sheets/ other shock absorbent. When I opened the gift there was just one newspaper that too torn wrapping the expensive gift item. The state of the show piece was miserable, broken into several pieces and beyond repair.
It was my birthday gift.. thanks to Archies for ruining it !!!

Its just not about selling thing... Lots of emotion are attached with each and every item we purchase.. Its sad that they don't realize this small thing. I hope they take the necessary step needed.

    Archies Online is big cheater company. They show something else in their website and when it comes to your home, you find something else, Though, they will chagre the same price as it shown in website, only the product will be different. I would request everyone here to NOT TO SHOP ONLINE from ARCHIES ONLINE, They are big chaters.

    IF no one will take actions agaisnt them, consumer will suffer and will have a total loss.

    Archies India — Cheating

    I BOOKED A RAKHI GIFT ON 20.08.10 THROUGH ARCHIES ONLINE PORTAL VIDE ORDER NO AL[protected] TO MY SISTER AT PATNA WHICH WERE SENT BY THEM USING BLUE DART COURIER VIDE BILL NO. [protected]. TILL DATE THE SAME HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED AT THE GIVEN ADDRESS AND BLUE DART'S WEBSITE SHOWS THAT CONSIGNEE IS NOT AVAILABLE. IS THIS THE SERVICE ARCHIES ARE OFFERING TO THEIR CUSTOMER.? WHEN I CONTACTED OVER PHONE Y BLUE DART TELLS ME THAT HE WILL FIND WHAT WENT WRONG? THIS GIFT CONTAINS SWEETS AND THE SAME WILL BE SPOILT AFTER SO MANY DAYS.I ADVISE PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER TO REMAIN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST BUNCH OF CHEATERS.
    Same happened with me. They are big cheaters. And they even don't pay attention to their customers. You can not imagine what you will get when shipment is received. No refund of money, no action against complaints, this is total waste of your money and emotions. And surely it is not a special way to say that you care. Fraud company full of cheaters hiding behind the big name of Archies.

      Dear Sir,
      I had ordered a T-shirt from archies making online payment. this was the mail i had written to them but got no response.while making payment my payment with sbi was shown unsuccessful still I have been debited by SBI (after error notice ) i paid via my ICICI Account. Please help me by providing the payment
      details so that i can pursue with my bank, if you have recieved payment
      from me twice then please credit it in my account.

      Archies — Wrong Delivery

      It was my birthday..... Imagine I m receiving my gift 2 days advance by well known ARCHIES and thats not over they wanted spoil it more so sent me wrong gift ... something more than a mistake.

      My sister sent me that gift with lots of love but these people are hopeless... they dont even know the importance of right gift at the right time.

      HOPELESS ARCHIES ..........

      READERS : PLEASE DONT SHOP FROM ARCHIES AS GOD KNOWS YOUR GIFT WILL REACH ITS DESTINATION PROPERLY OR......LOST.

        Respected Sir/Madam,

        This is Mufeed Mughal, I ordered LOVE BANK on 11th Feb.'09. to Archiesonline services.

        My order # AL[protected]. But still they didnt send to correct person and I am working in Dubai, I called them many times they told me we already send it.

        When I called to Customer Service Centre they transfer my call to many places. They were just playing with me.

        I need quick action against such customer support executives and we need real justice.


        I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMSTER COMPANY CALLED archiesonline.com

        I agree with you mufeed, I am in UK and I have used their service earlier and the item never reached. I had spent 10 times as much on the phone talking to a scum receptionist and she kept on saying that the item has been delivered. These people are there to spoil the name of india. They want to copy the west but never deliver. I want to say, ppl please avoid Archiesonline.com, they are vultures.

        Archiesonline — No delivery of Valentine Gift

        I baought one valentine gift from Archies on 6th Feb for delivering on 9th Feb - it is 14th today, the valentine day, and not sure what happened to my Gift.

        No one is picking the call on the helplines [protected] / 40751436 / 41410000 , and no one is responding my to my mails also.

        Not sure - what to do and how to go about. If anyone can help me with it would be great.

        But - to be very franck-- this organisation is a very unproffesional and does not take responsiblity for the customers' plight.

        If any legal action could be taken againts them would be great.

        Below is information regarding my gift - rder No. AL[protected]

        I am not sure - why this company is into a business which does not understand of meaning such days though it sole purpose of being action is to make ordinary days special.

        Any help is appreciatable.
        The same thing has happened to me. No one is replying to calls, emails.

        Seriously, it is fraud. We should contact consumer court for these issues.

        This is the worst online delivery forum.

        Same happened with me also, I ordered a gift for my love one but they did not dispatch the order on the particular date and not received the gift yet. I wrote many mails and contact with phone call also but they did not give the response. It is fraud company.

          I am totally fed up with services of Archies.


          PROBLEMS I FACED BECAUSE OF ARCHIES:

          Problem 1: UNFAIR AND INTRANSPARENT ONLINE SHOPPING SYSTEM:
          Archies online shopping system has failed to accept my transaction @ 08:30 a.m on 11th Feb 2009.
          (There is sufficient balance in my bank account and there is no problem with my bank SBI).

          Problem 2: There is no information regarding the failure or success of the transaction even after two days
          Of the transaction which led me into a severe confusion state. Because of this I lost my whole day
          Of my job.

          Problem 3: I have made another transaction for the same type of product @ 5:15 p.m. on 11th Feb 2009
          For which again there is no confirmation or information regarding the failure.

          Problem 4: As amount(Rs.480) has been deducted from my ICICI bank account immediately after the transaction
          I have called back your customer care for which there is no proper support.

          Problem 5: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: Because of your poor customer care service I incurred expenses in terms of both money and time
          Which is irrecoverable.

          Problem 6: INAPPROPRIATE AND MISLEADING INFORMATION: When I called your customer care, they told me
          That there is some problem with my bank (ICICI) and the funds were not transferred to archies from them.
          For the same issue I have called ICICI customer care and found that there is no problem at their end.

          Problem 7: BREACH OF GUARANTEE/WARRANTY: There is a GUARANTEE certificate offered by you saying that, ” IF THE TRANSACTION IS
          MADE ON OR BEFORE 11TH FEB 2009 THE DELIVERY OF SHIPMENT WILL BE MADE BY 14-FEB-2009” which you have not fulfilled.

          Problem 8: Being today the 16th Feb 2009, Still the shipment is not delivered to the consignee.


          LOSSES I INCURRED BECAUSE OF THIS:

          Loss 1: LOSS OF PERSONAL RELATION: As I was unable to give a gift to would be spouse on the eve of Valentines day,
          I lost my happy relation with her which I have built in years.
          This loss is only because of your inability to deliver the goods in said time.

          Loss2:LOSS OF MONEY: As the transaction is unclear and not transparent I spent lot of money on calling your customer care as well as
          Calling the other people(ICICI BANK, AFL WIZ etc) indulged in the transaction.

          Loss3: LOSS OF VALUABLE TIME: As I am working with a software company every minute is valuable for me.
          Because of your unfair transaction I spent most of time begging service from you and related people.

          Loss4: LOSS OF TRUST: As ARCHIES is a reputed company in market, failure by such a company made me lose CONFIDENCE ON THE WHOLE
          Cooperate world and its online business itself.

          Archies — unfair taxes

          I went to Archies store and selected a showpiece, the tag price was 1200, when I asked to pack it they packed it and charged 1300 from my credit card. On asking they told me the someone has put wrong tag on that showpiece. This is totally a loot...
