Dear sir,

I had taken AVIVA Life Insurance policy from an employee of Bank of Punjab on 10.9.2008, when Aviva & BOP had some tie up and the employee told that she will adjust the premium from my saving bank account in the same bank and she had taken necessary letter from me for the same. Since I had no communication earlier from AVIVA Life Insurance, I assumed that the premiums are being regularly paid. Later the bank was taken over by Centurion Bank and now again taken over by HDFC and most of the employees has also left (including that girl) and no old records are available, I am unable to tell anything whether the premiums were paid or not. Even old A/c statement is not available to me to check back the entries.

This is to inform that I received a letter from AVIVA Life Insurance office subjected: status of your lapsed policy (Client ID-1338356, Policy Number-RSG1680642) dated 16/9/2010 that my policy has lapsed due to non-payment of premiums in time.
I wrote many letters and appealed to treat my case as a special case, as this was not intentional and happened due to negligence of Bank Employee and to tell me the amount to be deposited (premium + interest / penality charges) to reinstate the lapsed policy. Or, else refund my deposited amount with nominal interest till date. But, AVIVA Life Insurance Company is neither prepared to reinstate the policy nor willing to refund my amount.
Please help to either reinstate the policy or refund my money.

    I have taken ULIP Policy from Aviva Life Insurance in March 2007 with Policy Number 'RSG1494815' through Aviva's Agent named Jitendra (Mobile no. [protected]). He had provided this policy with a note that you can surrender this policy any time after locking period of 3 years in reference to whatever amount you have deposited at any period of time (like 1,2 or 3 years) and you will get the money based on market value of that surrender time. So I have deposited 55,000 in two years (22 months). after that due to financial problem i couldn't continue this policy. When I visited to aviva office in cannaught place branch at New delhi India in May 2010. They told me that they will not surrender this policy and if we want to continue this, I need to pay full amount of Rs 55,000 till date. then policy will renew.but due to my financial problem, I could not continue. Now They said that policy is lapsed and no money will be given to you. they have cheated me and taken all my 55,000 Rs with them. I am helpless to do anything. I need money. Please resolve my issue ASAP. and get my money back through whatever the process. surrender or etc...... Mohammad Swell

      In the year of 2007 I visited Centurion Bank of Punjab and I was short of time the Bank Managers convinced me to invest in different funds and I was so fool and purchased some Reliance /HDFC/Aviva life

      Now at that time no body told me that you have to invest every year for AVIVA LIFE and I came back to Canada. The whole communication was going to bank address.

      I requested more than 20 times to get my papers for my investments but no reply.

      After three years I spent whole lot of time to understand what's going on. I came to know that my AVIVA life policy is terminated and money is gone.

      I complained many times to Head office Gurgaon and they say your policy is terminated and technically my money is gone for now.

      IN INDIA DO NOT TRUST ANY ONE ALL ARE THIEVES BE CAREFUL THEY WORRY ABOUT THEIR COMMISSION AND TARGETS AND PLAY WITH YOUR MONEY AND MAKE YOU FOOL.

      HOW AVIVA IS TREATING ME I CANNOT TELL YOU WHAT I FEEL ABOUT THESE GUYS.

      THEY ARE EDUCATED CHOR IN HIGH RISE BUILDINGS NOW A DAYS.

          my proposal no-NFL3051250 this is received by my agent him sagar
          my payment is going by bank every month
          but after 8 month later we have not received my policy documents
          my agent is assured to me it will received after 2 month
          but when i ask to call centre they told me it is already send with corear
          when i told them its not received me they said go near office and get policy
          when i visit your ghatkoper office there met me MR AMOL SANTOSH JADHAV they advice me go policy station and take FIR copy missing your policy
          when i say him why we should to go policy while we have not receive policy from your side you should go policy against your cur rear company
          then he said give me 2photos and identify proof and policy number i will give you
          but after 1 month they are saying i am sorry i cant do that
          my agent him sagar also not taking my phone
          now amol is saying you should pay 250 rupees for duplycat copy
          but why we should duplycat copy
          please reply me as soon as posible
          betwen thes day i have inform to your cosutomer care service 4 times but no body give me proper answer

          please advice what to do

            Today i got a letter from Aviva indicating that administrative charges have gone up by 5%. Then they assure that preimum will not change since they will be taking care of this in terms o[censored]nits allocated. This is plain cheating. The end user is not given any detail about options of policy change. They say its as per IRDA rules. May be the rules say that premium amount cannot be changed. So to circumvent this, they purchase lesser units for the ULIP. Insurance companies are big time cheaters in india since the rules and regulations always favour the corportates. Can any one let me know who the government agency to whom i can complain?

              Sub : Policy no ALN2061612 Aviva - feeling cheated by the company

              I had taken the above policy in the month of August 2008 It is a 10 year policy with sum assured of Rs1020000

              Premium per month Rs17000
              Administration charges 1.5% on monthly premium
              Mortality rate Rs.250 approx. per month reducing

              I had invested in index plan which is supposed to be the best plan
              My april 10 premium has not been cleared, as even on various requests I have not been able to get further details & breakup from the company of premium allocation being done

              I was shocked to understand that AVIVA is adjusting 1.5% p.m (18 to 20% annually )of the entire annual cover amount of Rs204000 , every month which works out to Rs3375 or 3450 per month.( annually 42000 i.e 20% ++)

              Out of Rs17000 paid per month the company is adjusting Rs 3450 every month towards administration charges , this was never declared to me. in view of the above I request you to kindly refund the excess amount taken by you & forward my issue to Grievance office for redressal.

              I am feeling cheated from a 300 year old company in whom I had shown confidence.

              Even after repeated tries / requests nobody has been able to explain me the justification for deducting such a huge admin charges, instead I was offered varous other policy which some different way of recovering charges from an aggrieved investor.I will request senior management to intervene & help a trust worthy investor.

              I had much hope from the company , but noe I feel cheated & lost all my hard earned money due to all cheating techniques adopted by an insurance company of international repute

                Aviva Health Plus sold his policy as Mediclaim but after receiving policy document i came to know that company gives only 33% tax rebate under sec 80d (mediclaim)
                and this fraud does not show in there brochure they write Tax relief is as per Law and company sell his product as mediclaim and customer think that the paid by him gets him benefit of Tax relief of Mediclaim

                    My name is Parvind Sahay was employed with Aviva life insurance for 21st march to 3rd january 2008. I have sent the pf form duly signed and stamped on 6th sep 2010 for settlement and was told to check my bank account within six months to have the settlement done. till date nothing being done and on rigourous follow up no with the company ther is still no confirmation on the same. on contacting the epfo north for the same i came to know that no form being submitted against PF No - DL/25803/2 which is my pf no.

                    Pl help and suggest me that what should i do in this case. i have given a complain mail to epfo online email address but no confirmation on the same.

                      i have paid rs 150000 for taking an insurance policy for three consecutive years, in the fourth year i did not pay the premium, with out any prior notice they closed my policy, i have lost one lakh rupees of hard earned money, so please those who are looking into this forum, dont invest in this type fraud ,cheating companies. they are like robbers,if their is GOD really in this world,i curse each and every individual of the insurance, who have looted my money should be punished.please dont join AVIVA ------CHEATS DR SADHATH KHAN POLICY ALS 1835209

                        Dear Sir,

                        I had purchased life long insurance policy ULIP from aviva life insurance ltd on sep 2005 with sum assured of rs. with additional facilities like critical illness and accident riders.

                        I aggreed to pay rs 3000/- quaterly. since than till date i had paid a premium of rs.64950/-


                        I was told that lock in period is of 3 years and i can take my money back which is suppose to be equal to fund value.

                        last premium paid was upto sep 2010.

                        since six month premium is due and the policy is in paid up stat.

                        when i enquired the fund value in sep 2010 i was told that total fund value is rs 60000/- approx,

                        but in statement letter received today fund value as on 29 mar 2011 shown is rs.36995/-

                        in statment letter fund value as on sep 2010 was shown 58680/-

                        sales manager of indore branch told me that refund value will be rs.36000/- approx.

                        have they manipulate units allocated in my account .

                        should they charge such a heavy surrender panelty of 27995/-

                        pl guide me what should i do now?

                          I have taken two policies from Aviva. One LLG and one NSG. I was communicated earlier for ECS option and I opted for it in 2008. For some strange reason NSG is in ECS butLLG was not on ECS. I got transferred to Chandigarh from Mumbai in 2009. In 2010, I received sms from the ECS service provider that LLG, ECS has been declined so I should make separate payment in the month of Aug 2010. I tried contacting AVIVA but came to klnow that the site was getting rennovated and hence accessability was not there. With much difficulty, I coulkd get through on line and requested them for cheque collection along with change of address. My job demands travelling and i asked the person for cheque pick up. He did pick up the cheque and later I have no clue what had happened. When this year I went to my old address at Mumbai, I collected one letter issued by Aviva in on 25th Aug that my policy status has been changed to "Paid up" due to non receipt of payment. After checking my account I found that the cheque issued was not encashed. I wrote back to Aviva for reinstating the policy as there was no proper communication to me on this chage of status, when I had informed that I had been transferred to Chandigarh, why the communication had been sent by post to my old address and no phone or mail was used for such communication. The replies are coming with wrong details by the customer service groups who are responding to mails. Neither they are forwarding the request to their seniors. It looks like this has been done intentionally for deducting the money in the name of change of status.Why no senior manager is intervening is surprise to me, despite repeatedly mentioning it.

                            I am really fed-up with the policies and the formalities of AVIVA life Insurance, I am trying to withdrawn my Money but not able to to.

                            The policy is in name of My brother Mr. Rajesh Garg & Policy number is : ELP-1896524, premium paid Rs 25,000/-

                            I opted for the policy in Jan/feb-2008 and at the time of policy I was told to pay premium of Rs 25000 once and can be withdrawn after completion of 3 years.

                            I have your call centre post completion of 2.5 Yrs, they confirmed me money can be withdrawn post completion of 3 yrs only.

                            BUT now when I am visiting the branch & called up call centre , as per them Policy has be lapsed and your money has been forfeited.

                            I tried to complaint at call centre but after an hold of half an hour, my complaint was not logged and server is slow, what should I do, Agent on line was Deepak Yadav

                            YOU CANNOT WITHDRAWN THE MONEY.

                            What kind of nonsense is this, how can you cheat and forfeit my money.

                              dear sir i have a policy of aviva life insurance........and policy number is WLG1765376 and i got this policy from ajmer branch.......i have paid 2 premium of that policy and when i got to knw that ur executive has given me a wrong plan ....n finally i was cheated by that guy thn i stopped giving premium for that policy.... i dnt knw what is ur rules for ur employees if they cheat to ur customers...please take some strong steps about my matter......and please transfer my rest amount to my account.....account number will be given to u as per ur request...

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I was sold an policy called "Life Long -Unit Linked" by Aviva employee (rather missold). I was told that only first three years of premium is mandatory and must be paid. After paying for first three years customer may or may not pay any further premium and there will not be any penalty and customer can withdraw the total fund value accumulated till that time as and when he/she wants. So after Paying the premium for first four years (50K yearly premium) i stopped paying the premium as I was planning to withdraw my money in next two years. To my surprise they after deducted Rs.73000+ from my account and when i enquired about the deduction then they said that since I've not paid fifth premium so there is penalty which has been deducted . Despite me saying that your (Aviva's) agent has told me otherwise they have not heard anything. I loged a complainet with the Insurance Ombudsman and my hearding is due in next 4 days so please guide me sir as to how should i get back my Principal and nominal interest back.

                                      Aviva,other word for fraud.I had bought my aviva growth fund in 2006.I paid my 4 premiums without fail of 24000/year.Last year I wasnt in india for last 8 months and I had no option to pay my premium for last year.I came by last December and given my cheque along with due date deviation letter.

                                      After two days , a guy from aviva infomed me that my permium got overdue for more than 6 months and i had to wait for approval letter to accept the premium amount further.After few days they rejected my premium amount and sent back my cheque.

                                      Still now they are not accepting my premium and charging like anything as my account become paid up.

                                      they havent informed about penalty fee around 6000 taken after one month of due date.In last four years ,they never informed about my due date of premium.

                                      If the 6 months crossed after due date ,why in first place guy accepted my cheque.
                                      They want to take a decision that will it be a profit one if they accept/reject the cheque.They took enough time to sent back my cheque.

                                        I am John Wesley, i had worked for aviva company in sales manager, where they have sucked even my last drop of blood, and i have left the job befor 2 years, i have submitted the application for my PF amount ot one called mr. pankaj arora who is sitting in delhi, girguon who is too responsible person in the company and requesting him to tell the status of my PF amount he is not receiving the pone nore responsing to the mail, I wonder what they do sitting in fornt of the sustem, and they too are payed for it.
