My name is Sarvesh Gupta.I am having policy with Aviva policy no:RFG1644673.iNITIALLY THEY TOLD ME THAT U NEED TO pay only 3 years premium laterr i came to know that you need to pay for 20 years when i asked them to send me the document after receiving the docs after 3 years i said i am not satisfied with norms of docs so i want to cancel they are saying it can not be cancelled but as per IRDA you can cancel the policy within 15 days after receiving the document .but they did not provide me the docs initially after so many request i got the docs after 3 years please help me out my no is [protected]..
Really this is worst experience with Aviva Insurance.

    Dear Sir,
    My self Amarjeet singh (E.Assistant Director) in Police Wireless,Ministry of Home Affairs,Government of India have complain against Aviva Life Insurance Company.My father has taken one policy of Aviva Life Insurance in 2007,when he got the insurance certificate,the date of maturity mentioned in that was wrong i.e life time instead of 10 year policy date.He has done contineously complain inAviva office at Varanasi and at that time Branch Manager Mr.Dheerj Kumar & Zonal Manager Ankush Bahanot(ph:[protected]) ,they have assured my father that maturity date will be change in future.
    But till date they have not change the maturity date.
    You can see the deatils in first attachment at page number 13 and and second attachment on page number 4 .

      I have policy of Aviva - life long policy. While investing in aviva the executive gave me wrong Information about the policy. Now that my policy is matured, I surrender it but Aviva company has put my policy on hold and they have not paid my money as promised. Every time I call customer care and ask about my policy or even if I complain they do not give me good response.

      AVIVA LONG LIFE POLICY — WRONG POLICY

      Aviva sales executives are fraud.
      they say one policy and you will get other policy for which they will get more comission.

      if you try to cancel , you will get nothing.
      only tension .

      I lost my 40,000/-rs.

      All Aviva executives give different replies. this is like fake company.
      There are so many cases like this and the same thing has happened to me. Misselling of products, giving wrong information and iam also cheated by their agent Mr.Lenish. All these happened, iam still paying the policy unwillingly else i will lose the money i have paid. NO 1 cheaters

          Hi,

          MY name is Sofia Khan. I took 2 policies with Aviva Insurance company in August 2007. I surrendered my policy on 4th Oct'10. THey said I'll get my checque in 10 working days. I havent recieved the money till date ( 29th Oct'10) I have excelated the matter with the zonal head , they continously lie that the policy has been surrendered from their side long back and now they don't even answer my call. THey also debited monthly ECS of 10,000 Rs from my account when I suurendered the policy on 4th October. THe worst part is they refuse to accept that their processes and manpower are not rendering desired services. THey dont reply to their customers on insurance related questions. Today their are taking RBI's name that the delay is at RBI's end for the past few days. I want strict actions to be taken against this company, they are playing with the money, time , patience and trust of people and don't deserve to be in the business.             My name is Manish Pitroda. i went to ABN-AMRO juhu branch in mumbai. i had very good relation with people working in the bank. Kalpana from ABN-AMRO and Mr.Abhijit from Aviva.

            They cheated me saying that this policy is giving amazing returns and bagged me to invest in this company. they very well knew that i make lots of investments so this time they made me invest in Aviva.

            They said this company offer very good returns and there is 3 years of login period after 3 years if you surrender then they will deduct 4 % of that days Nav amt and after 4 years if i surrender then they will deduct 2 % and after 5 years no surrender charges...

            i e-mail aviva and they said Penalty on Initial Units = 68.16%
            Penalty on Accumulation Units = 25.43%

            i was about to get heart attack...!!!

            as soon as i completed my 3 years login period i e-mail them to check how much money i can get they sent me figure of Rs 74,912/-, where in i paid 108000 /=

            I felt really bad as i did biggest mistake buying this policy...and you wont believe i made my friends also bought this policy..!!!

            i specifically said while buying a policy that i want an investment not a Insurance..but this ABN-AMRO people cheated many people.

            AVIVA — cheat No 1 Ins Co

            Lokeshwar Dev Jain, Chirag Jain aviva - No 1 cheal ins Co never buy aviva policy in life. cheated by Rs 30,000 by aviva which was an investment plan today not 1 naya paisa left. Infact plz do not get into insurance its the greatest web of deceipt along with mlm - chor chor musere bhai concept

                As per department website my claim was setteled on 04/09/2009 under Form 19 recipt No:2913357 Cheque No:187975 of Rs. 29231and Form 10C 29133518, Cheque No:2095 of Rs. 4967. But I have not recieved the claim as yet. I have marked so many mails to the department but they did not respond on it. The department has been raised the querries for Bank statment and cancelled cheque that I have already submitted in office on 21st July 2010 the slips of deposit the formalities are attaced with thiscomplaint. But still i am not getting my PF in my account and that time the department said that the amount will be credited within 45 days but it is I think above 70days more. Its my humbbel request that please do the needful. Now the department said that they have already setteled the amount and they have rejected the case. my contact number is [protected]

                  COMPLAINT AGAINST MIS-SELLING O[censored]LIP POLICIES OF AVIVA & HDFC
                  During the year 2006-07, when these types o[censored]LIPs linked to growth policies were at the nascent stage, I had very little knowledge on such schemes basically belonging to technical background and involved in technical jobs. My office work provided me hardly any time to involve fully in understanding intrinsically the benefits and drawbacks of these schemes.
                  Mr. Prashant Bansal, known till recently working as Cluster Sales Manager, HDFC Bank in Financial Planning Channel, 9-10 Express Building, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi and earlier employed as an executive of Centurion Bank Of Punjab, (CBOP) approached me at my office and showed the various prospects of luring proposals through these ULIP policies for my investment which according to him would help me double my money in 3 to 4 years time period. By his verbal communication skills he not only influenced me but also many of my office colleagues and subordinates to take various Aviva ULIP policies without explaining the actual scheme, their hidden policy charges, lock- in period, surrendering conditions etc. The following are the policies which he sold to me during this period.

                  Being a salaried PSU employee, I trusted him as a bank employee to be my financial advisor and to guide me in managing my financial savings so that I could arrange for a good amount of money required for my elder daughter’s marriage in 4-5 years time. Taking advantage of my trust he misguided me on the policies providing only the brighter picture and hiding the actual scheme which provides various charges and conditions and tenures associated with the policies. Not being a financial man, I could not understand much from the policy documents as well.
                  Subsequently, after the merger of CBOP with HDFC, he took full advantage of my simplicity and trust and kept selling ULIPs of HDFC deceiving me on the same way as earlier promising lucrative returns. Based on his assurance I took the insurance policies with annual premium of approximately Rs.8 lakhs on the assumption that on redemption of the previous policies I can pay premium for other policies. It was only after 3 years period when I intended to withdraw my money from Aviva policies taken by me, I was informed by the company that the sum deduction at this stage will be more than 60 % of my own premium deposit amount. I was stunned by this information as I was caught in between since I was not in a position to pay my annual premiums of these as well as the new policies sold by him. Also my dream of having a descent amount ready for my daughter’s marriage was shattered. Since then I have been trying to approach him to help me but having sensed that his fraudulent acts have been caught, he started dodging me and in spite of my several efforts he is not responding to my telephone calls and disconnects the call the sooner he hears my voice. His whereabouts and present posting in HDFC is not known to me.
                  I had lost heavily of my hard earned lifelong earnings, I began running from pillar to post to salvage whatever amount is possible. In this process AVIVA representatives of Noida branch advised me to withdraw money from these high value lifelong policies during the period of high sensex growth stopping other outflows from these funds. Even after all these attempts I am likely to lose around Rs 6 lakhs from the nearly Rs. 10 lakhs invested. The type of mis-selling done can be well understood from the fact that I being a man of around 52 years age at that time, Mr. Prashant Bansal provided me a life guard policy where I was to make a premium payment of another 65 years to get returns from the policy. I had signed the policy documents on good faith while many of the other pages of the policy document Mr. Bansal had forged my signatures. I also came to know from AVIVA representatives that since the premium amounts for these investments were very high, M/s AVIVA had provided various complimentary gifts, high value commissions for selling such lousy ULIP policies to a middle aged man. In view of the above trauma and mental harassment provided to me by Mr. Bansal, I suffered an coronary heart problem and had to undergo treatment at Escorts Hospital, New Delhi. I am still clueless how I shall arrange funds for my daughter’s wedding which is ringing at my doors. By making me lose my life earnings and providing me all the sufferings through cheating and fraud of an innocent customer( probably many more like me) Mr. Prashant Bansal achieved high growth in his career in CBOP and was promoted to higher levels. Following the same practice in HDFC he again got various promotions and became the Cluster Sales Manager by 2009.
                  I therefore request IRDA to look into this case and shall be grateful for taking up the issue with Insurance Companies and arrange at least to refund the principle amount of my investments. Also since this type of approach is increasingly taking place by banks and financial agencies through such employees, I request IRDA to issue strict regulations so that others also do not become victim like me and lose their lifelong hard earned savings by these fraudulent agents.

                    i had policy in aviva named as saveguard which had taken in 2008 july . i paid the first premium through canara bank when they had tie up with them.later their was no any follow up by the agent .now this july i got letter directly from the company that my policy is lapsed.they are not ready to give back the premium i paid after deducting their charges.what shall i do now

                      I am Kalyan Chakravarthy Konduri victim of Aviva Life insurance company. This is regarding my PF claim process i worked for more than 1&half year with Aviva life insurance during the tenure from 2006 April to 2007 September. Recently i have sent the claim form to Mr. Pankaj Arora (Asst Manager - HR) who is responsible for PF claim process. I have sent the documents on 16th September 2010 till date there is no response from the employer. I spoke to the concerned employee(Mr. Pankaj) he is saying that he didnt recieve any document till date but i verified with proffessional courier it is showing that the document was recieved on 20th September. This shows how serious they are working for organization growth. I request somebody need to take the ownership and clear the claim process ASAP. It has been more than 3 years that i have not applied for claim and now i require it urgently as my father is undergoing operation this november.

                        Hi,
                        I was employed in Aviva Life Insurance from 15th og June to 19th August 2010. I put in my resignation on the 4th of august 2010 and was told that I shall be getting my full & final settlement by end of September. Inspite of my repeated attempts I got no revert.When I called today the 18th of October'2010, I was told that my salary of 23,000 has been adjusted against trip that I made on company behest to Mumbai & Delhi, because I have not submitted my ticket and boarding pass.

                        Both of this was not informed to me while I was a part of the organization. Moreover this travel was for the company and not for my own purposes. Also what is even worse is that I had to follow up for the information. This was not forthcoming from the company's side. Since I am not working currently. This money is of importance to me.

                          I am writing this mail after apllying all my efforts and running from pillar to post but no results sir I am very low middle class human who has saved some money for my children and tough times which is been looted by fake promises of smartly dressed employees of Aviva life insurance company and cbop batala branch now HDFC bank .I had opened account with centurion bank of Punjab ltd batala branch and being t customer of the bank I was sold a life insurance policy by cbop batala branch through aviva life insurance employees sitting in the branch, They told me that they had a tie up of cbop and aviva life insurance company for 10 years and I will get all after sales service as well as maturity payment from CBOP branch batala office . I was given assurance of good returns from the plan as well as I was told that I can withdraw my money after the completion of three years . Now three years has passed I went to the cbop batala branch (now hdfcbank
                          as it got merged with cbop in 2008) but no employee of hdfc bank even liked to talk to to me regarding this issue ,they told me that as the policy was bought from cbop not from hdfc they cannot help me out .

                          But sir if I had knew that cbop will get merged with hdfc and I will never get after sales service for my aviva policy done in cbop branch now hdfc bank I would have not opted for this plan ,I was told by Hdfc bank to go to the aviva life insurance company office in amritsar which is around 40 km from batala .

                          As I am in need of money I went to Aviva office and demanded my money back Aviva company told me to write a application to receive my amount But I was surprised to know that after around 20 days I received a letter from aviva company stating that my policy tenure is for 43 years and I cannot get back my money i.e my polcy;s market price ,sir this news has really given me shock this means that I have to pay a premium of rs 43 lacs for 43 years sir I am really a hand to mouth female who has saved some money for my kids and for my tough times but aviva company has really ditched me sir Aviva amritsar employee Mr Aditya mehra Sales manager and their north head Mr AmanDeep Singh have given me assurances several times that I will get my polcy’s market value sooner or later for which he himself has written many letters which were further sent to Aviva Head office and got signed it from me .Every time I have been given assurances by aviva amritsar
                          office i.e is too from their high ranked officials that I will receive my money back .Sir fake promises is only thing I am getting from the last six months ,

                            Dear sir,
                            we have taken a policy from Aviva Life Insurance Co. in my husband's name. Our Policy no. is ALS2235264 from an agent of Aviva named Mr. Manoj Sharma resident of Indore only. He took Rs.20000/- cash from me and did not give any receipt at that point of time by saying that he will be providing it next day.After a few days I got my policy document which said that I have only deposited Rs.3750/; and there was also forged signature of my husband. I immediately called Mr. Manoj.He as usual came to me and requested me not to go his office and also that he will be giving the rest amount as soon as possible.He gave me the cheque of Rs.7500/- of his Axis Bank, Indore account which later got bounced. But we asked to surrender the policy immediately and give us back our Rs.20000/-. He said that he will be fired from the job if we go to his office and requested us to apply for policy surrender. He took away an application for surrender and also our original policy document and assured us that we will get our full money within a month. After one month we contacted him again. He said that it will take more time. Then we visited local office of Aviva from where we got to know that he has been fired from the job and our policy has been lapsed. After that my husband was transferred to Khandwa where he got ill as he went through intestinal surgery.So we stayed in Khandwa for more than 8 months for his treatment and recovery. Then we got busy in my daughter's marriage in Kerala. So we could not contact Aviva.
                            But now as we have been fooled a lot by Aviva's employee, we want our 20000/- back so pls look into the matter as early as possible as its already too late or else we would be forced to go to IRDA or some legal compliance.

                              Dear Sir/ Madam


                              I am a policy holder of your company since 2006 with the commitment to pay Rs 25,000/- per annum as advised by your company representative at that point of time. He told me that after paying premium for the three years I could get my money refunded along with interest thereon.

                              I contributed the said amount of money towards the policy for three years. As represented to me by the company agent I contacted the company for refund of my money after expiry of three years, but I was surprised to know that it was a life long policy issued to me and I will have to pay further premium for a long period which is till last date of premium, that is, year 2044.

                              Meanwhile I have paid fourth premium to the company towards the policy.

                              I approached the branch office of your company to surrender my policy, I was again surprised to know that I would only get approximately Rs. 58,000/- out of all four premiums I have paid amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/-.

                              I have following objections and queries:-

                              1. How a life long policy could be issued to lady at the age of 48 years, which is to be continued till 2044?

                              2. Company questioned me as to why I choose life long policy, when my intention was to invest my money. I ask you, why your company issued me the policy when I have communicated my intention clearly to the company representative.


                              3. Company told me that at the time of maturity I would receive market value as applicable to my policy. On one hand company is asserting it to be a life insurance while on other hand I would pay me according to the market. I am confused as to whether it is a life insurance or investment?

                              4. Company is befooling innocent people through their representatives, by misrepresentation and concealment of actual policy nature from the customers in order to sell their policies.


                              5. As company is now explaining me my policy to be not an investment, I would have not accepted the policy had your agent explained me the same at the time of issuing the company policy. Company’s agent misguided me just for his own malafide interest.

                              6. Company scrutiny department did not notice that whether a life long policy till 2044, to a middle aged woman could be issued? Does company think that such a lady would be able to pay premiums for this much long period? Here the intention of company seems to be clear, that is, to fool and fraud me and dishonestly take my hard earned savings.


                              7. I would ask, that, does company think that I would be able to pay all premiums up to 2044. From where would I earn/ save when I am reaching the age of senior citizen. Even the estimated living age of a person is now till 60-70 years.


                              I have invested my money for the pious purpose of my daughter’s wedding and it’s my only saving. But now I feel cheated and it’s a complete breach of trust.

                              I request the company to refund all my deposited money along with the interest and hope that my grievances would be sincerely handled.

Keeping faith on Banker I relied on them but AVIVA PEOPLE COMPLETELY CHEATED MISGUIDED MISSELLED FRAUD .They forged (Moutusi Dutta )my wife's signature in SVG 1132961( as stated below ).                                       This is in reference to 3 AVIVA Policies that was sold to me (mentioned below ) by Bank of Punjab employees( Mr.AMITAV) accompanied by AVIVA Bank asurrance employee.

                                      My policy details are as follows:

                                      Commencement Date: 16/02/2008

                                      Premium amount: Rs. 50,000/-
                                      Commencement Date: 11/03/2008
                                      Agent Code:Y0660974

                                      3.Policy Name: AVIVA LIFE LONG UNIT LINKED TEMPLATED
                                      Policy Number: WTG1506808
                                      Premium amount: Rs. 50,000/-
                                      Commencement Date: 23/03/2007
                                      Agent Code:Y0660974

                                      I would like to highlight the following points in connection with this sale:


                                      A) These guys introduced the company AVIVA and its product offerings to me

                                      B) At the time of buying the policy i specifically told the bank agent that i need a short term investment & they said" maam dont worry you put your money in AVIVA even though they are long term plans you can withdraw them in min 3 years n you will be assured a min return of 15% at time of withdrawal you dont have to wait for the policy to mature & again i specifically asked if there were any charges they would deduct & they told me it would be a minimum service charge but that will not matter as your money would have grown a lot after 3 years.

                                      C) They miss sold the product to me as they never informed me about the charges associated with the policy in case of partial withdrawal. (Now only, that too after constantly probing the customer service desk & visiting the AVIVA office in gurgaon personally a few times I am informed that the policy withdrawal charges are as high as 56%-75 %).

                                      D) I was quite skeptical in going for this product but after continuous pursuals and assurances by these guys and follow up calls by AVIVA Sales Manager & CBOP EMPLOYEE, I finally went for it.

                                      E) Then last year when i was due to pay the last of the 3rd year ( as told to me ) when i called AVIVA at their customer care & asked to sum up the policy they told me they dont have anydetails of my policy in their system as it takes a while after the payment for updating & asked me to call them back in a months time then when i called them again after a month i was told that i can only request to sum up after next march thats march 2010 for one of my policies & there would levy charges on withdrawing the policy....so i sked them the amount they again gave me an answere that they do not know the amount n i will have to call in march 2010 for the amount.I was totally shocked at their behaviour & i called them a few times again but got no answere & each time they said they would have a manager call me back of whom i havent heard from till date.

                                      F) I contacted CBOP ( NOW HDFC) BANK for this and got a very lukewarm response from THEIR side too,as if he was just interested in making a one time sale which he did and gave no positive response to my queries regarding the high partial withdrawl charges- Their defence was that the person who sold the policy to you no more works with us & we are no more cbop bank -its been taken over by HDFC so we cannot help you with these policies any more & have discontinued selling them from a long time.

                                      G) I feel that this is a very unethical act by your company as you first lure the customers by showing the sunny side and once they fall into your trap, only then they get to see the flip side of it.

                                      H) I have also sent a written complaint to AVIVA's corporate office by personally visiting their office on the 30th of April 2010 a copy of which i have with me.Its been 5 months & no one has gotten back to me regarding the complaint.

                                      I)Not once did anyone approach me during the entire year with any feedback on the money paid to Aviva. No statements from anyone on what is the status of this policy ONLY THE Then the demand for another PREMIUM .This is the only correspondece one recieves from them.

                                      I have been hounded by calls from AVIVA to pay premiums & each time i tell them about the problem i am facing with their policies they say they will have some one call back but no one calls.even when i called the customer care they advised that i dont have a choice but to pay the premiums till the policy matures & each time a different AVIVA agent gives me a different calculation & promise that if i wait for 2 more years.
                                      I am very disappointed with the Aviva and with their wrong & false commitments. Agents being hired to sell policies that end up completing their targets where as people like us suffer.
                                      By doing such things probably they increase their business but at the same time they are breaching the trust of the customers. .

                                      For Policy Number: WTG1506808 i have already paid Rs 1,50,000/- for which when i contacted Aviva i was told after much perusal n insistent calling & visiting their office that i would only recieve approx Rs 60000/- incase i withdraw the policy. forget about any growth on it.
                                      Also at the time of selling the policy the agent told me that after 3 years if i don't want to pay the premium i can leave the money with Aviva they will re invest it ...you can stop paying & the amount of 3 years + interest on it would be reinvested

                                      For Policy Number: APG1905919 i have paid Rs 1 lac .
                                      For Policy Number: ASV1863058 i have paid Rs 50,000/- already.

                                      I am under great financial pressure & unable to arrange funds for the ...i am under going stress & mentally & emotionally drained out.I dont know & feel helpless as to if i will ever get my hard earned money back.I am only writing this after trying my best to have Aviva solve this issue for me but to my dismay no one has even bothered to call me even once to resolve this.
                                      They further pass the contact no's of people like us having problems with their policies to their agent to further dupe us into withdrawing our policy & reinvesting in their other policy where our loss of money would be minimum......

                                      I hope you will take a strict action against these companies.

                                      I am also one of the victims of same way. I think the only way to teach this people a lesson by publish this cheating through social network and make aware about this to others. At least we can save few people from the trap.
