This letter is to inform you regarding the water issue in our area for the past 6 months. From the month of march we are not getting even a single drop of water through bwssb connection, but getting the bill regularly. We have given several times this complaint to rajajinagar (Je name : narasimha) orally and literally. But no action has taken from the respective authority.
Hope from here you can identify problem.

    Dear sir,

    Since the last 1 year, the water meter (Sub-division s-2, customer id 37270, rr no:se320005/k50) went out of order. We have registered a complaint with the sub division and contacted the assistant executive engineer many times and contacted on phone. We spoke to someone named "basavraj" who mentioned that we should use their approved bwssb contractors who will do the change. They provided a name "r. Gangaraju" who demanded rs. 10000 for replacing the water meter, which we promptly paid on 01-august-2020. After about 10 days of pleading with him, he mentioned that we need to pay additional rs.55000 for replacing the water meter - and otherwise my water will be disconnected. We have been trying to get some help and due to covid it is very difficult to approach the officers directly. They have been charging 3 times the normal bill amount we will receive and marked my meter as tampered (The meter was installed in 17 years back and weared down due to many years).

    Nothing has been done so far. Even the meter reader stop coming to our house and promptly send the bill stating "meter not working" but charge us the 3 times charges like rs 3350, rs.2700 and so on.

    1. We would like to know why we have to pay charges to a "non-working" meter?
    2. We would like to know if bwssb is financially incapable to provide a meter for the past 12 months?
    3. We would like to know what is the response to our complaint docket number 37270 in addition to the complaint registered with the sub division?
    4. We would like to know if we should purchase a meter and install it ourselves?

    We have been paying exhorbitant amount of cost for our house for the last 1 year and the bwssb is demanding 55k to replace a water meter through their brokers/contractors.

    Please help us, so that at least we know what is the actual cost of replacing the water meter.

      There was a bill which was supposed to be paid, we were ready to pay it now.. due to lockdown it was delayed...
      We were requesting to give sometime, all of a sudden early morning 8 individuals arrived infront of house and created big scene and started smashing the water meter which is really intolerable...

      Government has advised the agents not to behave like that still they created a mess... these guys should not be doing this..

      Kindly request you to provide proper feedbacks to these people...
      Please help me...

        By mistake i had paid the above amount rs 786 twice via 2 different web sites,

        Please find the attached amount paid receipt from both the sites.

        Let me know if you need more information.

        Please refund the amount or reduce the excess amount in my next month bwssb bill.

          Hello, i am resident of vidyapeetha main road banashankari 3rd stage, bangalore. From more than past 10 months, i have been receiving monthly water bill of more than 1800₹ even when i am not using that much of water. My RR no is: s-178202. I waited this long thinking that it might get fixed next month and so on but i recieved a bill of 2448₹ for the month of july which is totally non-justifiable. I request the authorities take note of this complaint and do the needful.

            The reading of my first water meter bill to pay bill is wrong.
            The date of issue is also delayed
            The bill is also illegible
            The personnel has written the bill in 14000 instead of 14. Hence the bill has been calculated more

              I have checked the kaveri meter is constantly reading and rotating even when there is no water flowing at the moment, the tank is full but the meter is still. Roatating and it is causing the abnormal water bill..
              Is that even possible that 4 bachelor people in a building can use 75000 liter in a month??. There is no leakage in any pipe in the building

                When there is heavy rainfall, the sewage tanks are overflowing. Due to this, the drainage pipes of our houses are getting blocked. Many of the houses are affected by this problem. Even after several complaints to the bwssb office, the officials haven't turned up. The waste from the drainage chambers are getting into our bathrooms. And also, all our house chambers are overflowing.
                Hence, we kindly request to take action against the same and solve this problem.

                    The resident of muneeshwara layout, 3rd, ‘d’ cross, kadugodi, bangalore-560067. There is a severe issue of sewage and drain pipe blockages in our locality... They are dumping condoms and sanitary pads into the sewage drainage line. They don’t even bother about that and purposely they are doing it. Every week we are cleaning the sewage lines. We warned them but they are not taken it as a big issue. Water is clogging and choking in the manhole and drain pipes. We got to know that most of the neighbours are taken the illegal connection of both sewage and cauvery line and they are not even paying any bills to bwssb. Even lineman is supporting by taking the bribe money from them.
                    Already corona is spreading everywhere and some people are purposely doing this and therefore, i request the chief engineer/appropriate authority of bwssb to kindly look into the matter we are suffering because of them.

                      We have not been reciving water from past 4 to 5 months from bwssb after repeated complaints to ae and line man no action has been taken. Always get an answer today you will get water but nothing happens even after repeated requests.

                        Sir,

                        I see that there is number of cases reported of corona virus spreading in around panduranganagar, arekere, billekahalli, puttenahalli ward (Ward no:187). Inspite of this your department has taken up construction/repairing of drains in around panduranganagar, sahyadri layout, panduranga nagar near appolo hospital back gate, dorasanipalya, bangalore - 560076. The workers who are working are not professionals nor up to the mark or sanitized. They come from different parts of karnataka mainly migrants and are moving in around the city. They are not tested nor certified.

                        If the work still continues we will have several infected cases of corona mainly senior citizens, middle aged people and children. There is also reported cases of people and children slipping and falling into the under constructed drains.

                        I request you to immediately finish pending work and stop taking up new projects with immediate effect. If situations worsens immediate action should be taken by higher authority.

                          Sanitary chamber overflowing due to the direct connection given to chamber by neighbour.

                          It is ongoing since jan 2019. Every 3-4 months, issue of overflowing either on the road or in the culvert happens. Despite addressing it, no action has been taken till date. Kindly help us. We all neighbours are suffering due to this negligence. Please investigate and look into the matter.

                          Hi,

                          I received a message from your team that the complaint has been forwarded to the BWSSB team on Friday(June 26, 4.51 pm).I have also raised a complaint in the BWSSB website and the complaint number has been forwarded to the respective engineer through whats app as the number was shared by the BWSSB team for highlighting the issue.I have shared it and awaiting for help from BWSSB.It will be great if the issue could be looked into as it has been ongoing since Jan 2019.

                          Spoke with the worker from BWSSB, wont be able to come today due to personal work.Spoke with the exec engg, he informed that online complaints wont work, we need to give written complaint only then he can do something.Now going to submit the written complaint.

                          This is how it works, for someone's fault, we should spend our time, energy which drains us physically, mentally.

                            In seegahalli fortius water escape apartment a huge apartment which leaves their drainage water to oustide of building which stinging a lot they leave a whole building drainage water stored near my house a place a small rain water ditch was made this apartment people leave their water and its store's lot of water every day my house sting and lot of mosquitoes and my compound wall falled due this water. Why drainage water is left outside the building every day morning to night very stinging we are suffering here please help us

                                Transaction has been successfully processed at Paytm and in BWSSB side, it showed as failed transaction. Hence, I have paid for the second time.

                                It is requested that amount of Rs. 571 pertaining to operator reference Number PT01TBQPBA4R may please be refunded / adjusted in the next month billing cycle.

                                  During the lockdown period, i did not get the bwssb bill. When i saw in paytm, i found that the bill has been generated and hence paid the money through paytm. But last month, when the physical bill came, the amount i paid was shown as arrears. I paid all the amount except the arrears with the through that this will get rectified next month. Now this month too, the amount paid through paytm is shown as arrears (With a fine of rs. 100 added). What should i do now?

                                        Hi sir,

                                        I stay in an appartment in bangalore. There are 4 families. Waterbill is not seperate. It is common for all. But i was not there for 3 months. I have not used water for 3 months. But obviously i have to pay for the fixed amounts like meter charge and so on. I want to know in the bill, which is the amount that is corresponding to the usage of water. What is meant by arrears in that?...
