Hi bwssb authorities,
I am a resident of arekere bts layout.
Opposite to prv residency, there is a severe leakage of drain water and it is unattended for almost 1 year even after more than 20 compliants.

    The water and its related taxes collection centre on 1 st avenue, ashok nagar, chennai-83, for area 10, division 132, has been targeted for its poor service in not making hassle - free tax payments. The centre is manned by only one person. The present incumbent is a young girl without proper knowledge or experience, who always misguides the tax payers, thereby incurring monetary loss to them by way of penalty. She refuses to accept water tax without valid reasons. She does not know how to give a clear picture of the status of taxes, to the payers. Already, the tn govt; have doubled the water tax.in addition to the existing burden, the department collects penalty without justification. The state govt; insist on prompt tax payment; but the staff manning the collection centre, refuses to accept the tax. What is this? The concerned authorities should look into the matter immediately for remedial measures. Better to transfer the present employee.

      Dear sir,

      This is to bring to your kind notice the below water problem in my area 6th main, 2nd cross, popular colony, venkojirao khane, mangammanapalya, bangalore - 560068
      From last 1 month we have a problem in our area in 2-3 houses that the kaveri water which is coming smells like gutter and sewer water and also the colour is very dirty. Even after we let the water flow thinking that the later water will be good but still we get the gutter water. And we pay for that water. It is so smelly that if we touch our hand then the smell lasts for hours. Our children are getting ill day by day and it is very dangerous. Request you to take immediate proper action otherwise it will cost our's and our's children lives.

        The drain is blocked for a week now and no action is taken and the water is flowing back into the house chambers and there is a stinky smell all over so please clean it and do the need full the drain is blocked even in the road and it is creating lots of problem and so please come down and clean the drain as it is making it difficult to stay in the house.

          I have an independent house in 111, 10 th cross, first stage, indiranagar. Last one year, i have been charged rs 200 for borewell whereas as per bwssb the charge for domestic should be rs 100 only /- please check and review and refund me the excess charged.

            Rr-no: n-453552, there is always done issue with the meter, our highest consumption do far has been around 43000 lts, the recent bill we received was showing consumption of 73000 lts. We notice that more of aur comes through the pipe moving the needle of the meter recording more consumption. Request
            Meter has to be checked and the bill to be reduced.

              I understand that due to poor ground water conditions, drilling of borewell in bangalore has been banned.

              But in 15 th main, btm second stage (Mahadeeshwara nagar) several plots have been converted into pgs and borewells have been drilled in all such plots. I really donot know whether any permission was given and if so, how could that be considering the depleting ground water level here.

              Some one in your team is misusing law and this needs to be checked.

              I hope you will send your inspection team to investigate this and put a stop to this menace.

                The water bill for occupants of 7 members with sump tank of approx 2500 litres is coming more than ra 1000.00 and this month rs 1700.00 which is unimaginable and shocking. The people who are using are highly cautious on water management and need bwssb to sort it out immediately as i am not convinced to pay rs 1700.00
                Month after month the bill is checked and it is coming approx rs 1000.00 every month even though people who use water are less.
                Need immediate action to resolve this issue
                There has been no water supply since 23-Nov-2019 in Kadirenahalli Cross (Banashankari 2nd Stage). When we tried to reach out to the respective authorities for help, they have been responding rudely. Request you to look into the matter and help restore water supply at the earliest.
                No proper water supply in Rajajinagar 3rd main, 4th block bangalore from past 6 months.No action from authorities even after repeated complaints via BWSSB website and also speaking in person to Area BWSSB engineer on the issue.No proper water pressure and the water is release early morning 4 am

I'm the resident of basavalingappa nagara chikbettahalli whic comes under ward 3 yelahanka.. We r facing life threat n water problems even though we r paying right full tax yearly n monthly water chargers.. We get borewell water to this area.. Ther is no other water supply to us.. No bbmp
                  Or bwssb person is assigned to provide us water on daily.. And we r paying money to our neighbor named raju n his wife since thy r posing as thy r appointed by bbmp n bwssb to do this work but in actual thy have no authority.. We do not know on wht authority thy r collecting money frm us n other residents in this area as ther whims n will thy are collecting huge money frm every resident here more than 180 houses under ashraya scheme.. A person by name suresh acting as bbmp person but in no way he is connected nor appointed or employed in bbmp or bwssb harassing us on personal grudge.. By cutting all the water connection to my home frm past 3 weeks ther is no water to my house.. N none of the actual bbmp official wants to take action against this as thy are also collecting money frm these people.. Kindly treat this as a complaint and do the needful.. Ther is no water to my home frm past 3 weeks where as thy have without any authority have digged the roads n removed all water connection to my house n giving water connection to the people who r paying them huge money.. Ther is lot of malpractice going on.. When we started asking on wht authority thy are acting as bbmp or bwssb people thy have disconnected all out water connection n destroyed the water pipes connected to my home.. Without any authority how can thy do this.. Kindly take action against this as thy r in no way have any authority to deal with ground water n harassing us like anything.. I have decided to take legal action against all those.. Kindly look into th matter..

                    This has reference to bills generated by your officials for Rs.32, 735. This bill is for a 4 month period which translates to Rs.8184/- per month. The amount billed has no connection with actual / historical usage.

                    |In this regard would like to bring to your notice of the following:-

                    Our Average monthly billing for 2017 & 2018 is Rs.678/- & Rs.413/- per month respectively.

                    Yearly Bill for Rs.2017 & Rs.2018 Rs.8135/- & Rs.4957/- respectively.

                    Amount paid by me from Jan 2019 to June 2019 Rs.10, 200/-

                    Bills generated by you from Jun 2019 to Oct 2019 Rs.32, 735/-

                    Total bills for year till Jan 2019 to Oct 2019 Rs.42, 935/-

                    How can you bill me Rs.42, 935/- in a mere 10 months when my entire usage for 2017 & 2018 is Rs.13092/- only. You have billed 3 times the usage of 2 years for just 10 months. That clearly shows the fault is at your end.
                    We have met your officials Mr. Murthy for reversal of bill and corrective action from BWSSB. We have asked Mr. Murthy to send a representative from BWSSB to our home which was bluntly declined to. Mr. Murthy gave us advice on how to check and when we followed his guidance there was nothing wrong.

                    We went again to BWSSB Office to meet Mr. Murthy with our feedback. We were told Mr. Murthy has got transferred. We met Mr. Panchanathan and asked for immediate reversal of bill and a visit to our home. Our request was bluntly declined to by Mr. Panchanathan. Subsequent to our visits we had interactions over phone and there was no change in the response pattern. With no support from visits to your office our only option was to interact with BWSSB officials who come home for meter reading and bill generation.
                    We spoke with your meter reading representatives and we were told that they cannot do anything in this regard. They also told us that they are getting complaints from several others about excess bill due to faulty meters and asked us to submit a complaint online if we do not get response from officials. ( In this regard we would also like to inform you that Mr. Murthy had come to my home in 2018 with a new meter and the same was replaced by him immediately.) Now we are having our own as to why meter was replaced without any initiative from our end. We have a feeling the meter was replaced to generate exorbitant bills for reasons best known to your officials.

                    On hearing from your meter reading representatives we immediately starting online for similar complaints. We checked online for issues faced by other consumers and we were shocked to see that Consumer Forum and BWSSB websites are flooded with complaints about excess billing due to faulty meters. We were shocked to read from Deccan Herald and Times of India that you have generated a monthly bill of 3 lakhs on a 3 member family. The link along with other related likes are given below which once again proves that your claim of Rs.32, 735 is false and the bill was generated to cover your own issues:-

                    We are a family of four residing in a 600 square feet and our monthly billing for several years is around Rs.450/- per month. We are not responsible for faulty meters, software issues or manual errors of your officials. We are furnishing our billing history for corrective action at your end. In this regard we would also like to point out that we have a borewell at home and we use BWSSB water supply to the bare minimum. You can send your officials to our home to cross check the same if need be.

                    We are forced to put up this complaint online as there is no response from your officials in person or over phone. Please send us a revised bill on actual / historical usage.

                    You are advised to refrain from generating bills as per your whims and fancies and If you still continue to harass us with exorbitant and unreasonable billing we have no option but to bring to notice of media and escalate to higher ups in the hierarchy.

                      Last three months i have been charged “partial nd” tariff for no fault of mine and without any prior intimation. There is no repair done still i want to know the reason of charging “partial nd” for my clubbed meter n-113240 & n-188151 in my name bhojaraj srinivasan pertaining to ground floor and first floor.

                      If this is a mistake please reinstate domestic charges and refund me the extra amount paid by me.

                      Despite calling the concerned engineer, the issue has still not been addressed.

                      The AECS layout main road in B-BLOCK, AECS layout is having sewage water flooding the road, everyday.

                      Is this the Swacch Bharat that is being implemented by BWSSB?

                        Sir the chamber is blocked in our road, all the sewage water is over flowing & coming into our building. Kindly send the van to clear the chamber. As the main chamber is blocked, the connecting chamber is overflowing with sewage water. Water is flowing in the road & coming into our building, causing lot's of problems. Please sort it out on priority.

                          On 3rd november we have got the water bill with meter reading 1221000. Next day on 4th evening when we received the supply of water, after filling the 1000 litres sump tank meter reading shows 1227750. Our maximum consumption per two days is about 500 litres of water only.

                          The amount has not reflected till date. My current bill is shown as Rs 11606. Also since the payment is not yet reflected, I have been getting late fees and interest.

                            This is to inform you that their is no cauvery water supply in our area also there is no cmc water supply, there are only pipes installed at our home but water rarely comes, nobody is bothered there were several complaints registered in bwssb office and so many calls made to engineers but it turned out to be use less as these people don't care abt our problems, we hardly get water twice in a week only for an hour or less and there is no timings. We are having very bad time because of this problem, kindly resolve this issue as my tenants are telling me they will vacate the house and i have constructed this house in a huge loan amount.

                              After digging the road and adding pipe connection they have not closed the roads properly because of this it has created one of the worst roads in babusapalya, nanjappa garden 4th cross road (Horamavu 560043 - bangalore). School children and people and old age people are experiencing enormous amount of trouble. When it rains, it is extremely difficult to commute.                                 From last three months we are getting too high water bill due to unwanted sanitary charges and other charges.
                                The other charges is more than the actual water usage charge.

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that bwssb gave a connection in the name of sailaja (Ouner name is gowda) door number #237, ammaji nilaya, 3 rd cross cross, rajgopal nagar-560096.

                                  He took a additional pipeline from the main water line from the street itself to his house while construction. He is having 2 buildings, total 17-houses in the uilding.

                                  He didn't paid water bill, so they disconnected, but he is collecting money from tenents. Normal connections now not in use, but by illegal connection which no one knows directly water will come to sump. He wont pay any amount from 6 months for legal connction. But through illegal connection he is getting water. So we are not getting water in our street. Due to this we are unable to get enough water in our house. Request you to investigate this water theft/illegal connection and take needful action, as per your procedures.

                                  We already raised a complaint to local police station and cnsumer forum.

                                  Please take a necessary action.

                                    Last month i got a water bill for 7k from water board, which i've not consumed the water meter runs with nothing but air. Hence i've given a written complaint but till now no use.. They forced me to pay my bill or they will cut the water supply.

                                    This is really unfair when they are faulty meter they should replace it.. Which is not done till now.. I really not sure how to proceed with this

                                      Sir, i have newley constructed 200 square feet sheet house and given for rent, the bwwssb converted to partial domestic bill, and they told remove all bath room ammenities and then we will convert to domestic and hence we have closed the bath room and sent request

                                      Now they are saying deposit money as earlier u constructed bathroom per square feet 400, they are making us suffer for bribe, please guide us

                                      They are also asking documents for provide upated tax, kahata, sale deed, building sketch, as if new construction
                                      Please close that leakage we are facing a very huge trouble from this .
                                      We can't we cross that roads it's very tough to cross it.
                                      And it's very horrible smell it's very problematic so please solve it soon
                                      We are not getting water from last 3days. My neighbors are getting the water, but water is not supplying for my house
