Dear Sir,
My complain is about the suspecious procedure of making credit card from barkley bank Delhi india.Normally you have to fill the form for any card and services but in my case barkely bank, may be a DSA of same bank name sampark approched me on mobile for card.they game me attrective offers on my cell.when i agreed for card on phone then next day they inform me that one person is comming to collect the documents.Next day one person name Mr.Rakesh (Mobile No.[protected]) came to me ian said he is here from SAMPARK on be half of Barkley Bank to collect the document.He took my salary slip and photo copy of my pancard.When i asked for form for fillup he told me that we will fill form from office.Then from their office Ms.neha gave me a call and started asking confidencial informations like date of birth, mother's maiden name etc .when i asked them how i can give my details on phone and when your person had come to me he would have given me form to fill along with my signature.She told me that this is their procedure.One man also called me so many times name mr.sameer (Mobile-[protected]).When I contacted mr sameer about the development on his cell then the person who picked the phone he told that this no is not of sameer, it is my number.& i am his brother.Once again Neha called me from private number to ask the details then i strongly instructed not to make my card if it is your procedure for working.This is all looks like fraud attempt to cheat the people.Now i am worried that if they prepare card in my name and misuse it & send bills to me then it would be very unfortunate for me.So requesting you to take the necessary action to avoid this mishappening.Same time requesting you take initiative and give some directive to these banks to follow the rules in the interest & safty of customers.Please do the needfull.

Evan i got a call 2day on my mobile, when asked she(Repesentative:[protected] told she got my details from some database ????? She gave my info about the offers provided by Barkley & discount, but i was not fully convencied and told her to forward all the details to my E-mail id, show that i can know the legitamasy of the call & the offer provided. Lets see do if i get any mail or not.
I have filled the form also but did not get the card after a month.
It is sacree.

    After registering complaint on this web site about non receipt of my credit card. these guys gave me call from Mumbai office a month back and they assured me that they will send my card again and i will receive it in a week. that was the promise from their end. However i have not received the card till now. and i would like to tell you guys that i[censored] have any problem regarding non receipt of your credit card please send a written letter to Mumbai and Their London office so that they come to know about the poorest service of barclay bank.

    well hi this is chris and i have applied for a barclay bank credit card enumerous times, i am tired of giving out documents to the guys who roam about in the office premises and promising to get a credit card within 15 days. they are sweet enough to give you a tell tale story about the card and its features and its delivery however the company aint sweet enough to give out the credit card to its consumers...congratulations to Mr Paul Ryley... your business SUX...

    Sir I have received the statement for the month of november 2008 in which interest charges of Rs. 716.10/- have been appliced. Sir this is to inform you that I want to give request for reversal of interest charges for my credit card no. [protected]. Sir i already paid my full amount of Rs. 8432/- but due to my wife's delivery i am unable to pay before the due date. so I hereby request you to please reverse my interest charges.

      Sir, I'm a customer of Barclay credit card.I was charged a late fee though i have made the payment on time.I enquired customer care and they said they will reverse the amount in my next statement.But still not yet reversed.I was charged a late fee in Feb-08 bill. My card also de-activated from march and still i'm getting bill for mentioning the late fee charges. I have spoked many times with customer care and even e-mailed to Barclay Service id. But their response is poor and still they are sending my statements with outsatnding.
      Whatever purchase i have made thru Barclay, i have re-paid entire amount.I getting lot of calls and SMS which disturbs me a lot in my work and home. I'm in chennai and my contact no [protected]. Kindly help me to reolve this problem. Thank you

        I had made the necessary payment against my credit card that I hold from Barclays on 04th June'08, 2 days after the due date through the "Easy Bill Center" vide the receipt no."[protected]". And after that I started receiving the SMS stating "We have not received last month's payment by the due date. If you haven't already done so, please pay Rs.1760 immediately. You may contact us on "[protected]". I inially ignored these SMS untill 06th June'08 when I contacted the Customer Care and informed them about the same. In the same call, I was informed that my payment of 04th June'08 is already updated against my account and hence the lady representative told that she would forward a request to the concerned department to stop the SMS's coming across me. Then the very next day, early morning, I received two SMS with the same content as above and then contacted the Customer Care, where I had a word with Ayushman who told that since, yesterday was Sunday, so the complaint could not be resolved but the same would be done that day. I enquired twice, if he was sure about the same and that I would not receive anymore messages, to which he gave an affirmative answer. However nothing happened, and I received one SMS again on the same day and one on the next day.he nail on the coffin was put across by one email that I received in my Official email id on the 12th June'08 which was send across on 11th June'2008 at 9 P.M. from "[protected]@Barclays.net.in" with the contents as follows, "Dear MR GOURAB UJJAL BORA
        We notice that we have not received the monthly payment due on your Barclaycard account and would like to remind you that as per the Terms and Conditions applicable to your account you need to make the same.
        We realize that this maybe an oversight and request you to make a payment of Rs 1760 to bring your account back to order
        Please contact us at the below numbers for any assistance:

        Or you may call Barclaycard Customer Services anytime on[protected]MTNL & BSNL users:[protected].

        Barclays Bank". So I again contacted the Customer Care Department and had a word with "Rakesh" to whom I explained everything. He tried to apologize but I never accepted the same and hence asked him to get a confirmed resolution to which he wput me on hold and then came up with a committment for arranging a call back within 4 hrs, which was completed at 2 P.M. as I gave the call at around 9:50 A.M.on that day, 12th June'08. I clearly told him that I do n't believe in the call back committments but he assured me that he would arrange for the same and to boost my self belief, I never received the call back. I then finally gave a call back on 16th June at around 12:30 P.M. and had a word with Shikha, Rajiv (Floor Supervisor, as informed in the call) and then finally with Deepak(Team Manager, as informed in the call). I had to explain all the things again and again to all the people I had a word with and then Deepak apologized for the inconvenience and gave a commitment for a call back, which I initially refused. I was demading an explanation in writing for the following things :-
        a). When the payment was received on 06th June'2008, why were the SMS send across to me even if they were automated?
        b).When the Customer Care department was informed about the problem and they provided with the committment to resolve the almost immediately, why was it not done and I kept on receiving SMS and even an email?
        c).Why did I never receive the call back as per the committment of getting the same within 4 hrs?
        Deepak told me that he need to investigate the entire matter and hence he required 24 hrs from my side, which as I already mentioned thta I refused but considering his position, I told him that I would wait for his call on 17th June'2008 which he reassured that he would personally give. then I again got a boost in my self belief because I never received any call back whatsoever from Deepak or anyone from the Barclays Bank for my issue. I then gave a call back on 18th June'2008 and reached Gaurav to whom I asked to transfer the call to Deepak and then "Ranjeet" came online as the "Team Manager" and when I asked him about deepak, he told me that he is not present at that moment and hence he is online. When I asked him about the reason for Deepak not giving a call back, he told that the call back was scheduled for 18th June'2008 to which I replied him by saying that 24 hrs from around 1:15 P.M. on 16th June completes on the same time 17th June'2008 and he had no answer for the same. I actually got very harsh on him and refused to talk to him and kept on asking him to pass on the line to Deepak. He then told that he would arrange the call back from Deepak "straightaway" which he later clarified as "after 2:30 P.M." as that would bbe the time when Deepak would be present. he also told that there are only two Manager on the entire floor, one is Deepak and the other is Kapil. When I cross questioned about his position which he told me as "Team Manager", he was trying to "Hit around the bush".So I got really very angry and hung up the phone.And still I have not received the so called “Call Back”.

        Barclay Credit Card — Non receipt of card

        I am totally fed up with my experince with Barclay's Bank. In the span of 2 months from Dec 2007 to Feb 2008, 3 different executives have collected sensitive financial documents from me and till date no information about the cards!!

        I am thinking of filing a legal suit against Barclays, only when then are made to feel the heat will the understand (hopefully)

        Barclays bank Credit card — non receipt of statements, delay in getting draft of loan

        dear sir,
        i wish to lodge a complaint, about the said bank.firstly they have stopped dispatches of statements. secondly, the collection box of skypack financial services throught which they collect payments, are not, good enough. it took me a while to locate the collection box. and its hanging by just a wire..any person can take away the whole box(BEST COLONY, GOREGAON(W) MUMBAI- INDIA).
        thirdly, a loan amount against my credit card was promisied...i am still waiting...it was promised...in a weeks time...almost 15 days have gone by...is this customer service??????????

        Barclays bank Credit card — Credit card no receipt

        The Credit Card has not been received till date .
        I invite your attention to your office letter dated 07.04.2008, which was received by me on 28.04.2008. It seems from the said letter a credit card has been issued to me with the credit limit of Rs. 10, 000/- . But I want to bring to your kind attention that I have not received any credit card till date i.e. 30.05.2008.

        Since its more than month [of issue of letter dated 07.04.2008 from your bank] I hereby request you to look into the matter [since there is a chance of the card getting into wrong hands] revert back to me. This may please be treated as most urgent.

        Barclays bank Credit card — Non receipt of draft

        I was granted a loan on my credit card in the first week of Sept. The Bank charged the processing amount and I was asked to pay that by 2nd Oct.Irecd 3 calss regarding payment to be made by me which I already made on 30th Sept but I have neither received the BD nor the any satisfactory answer from the Bank.

        Dear Sir,

        I received SMS regarding despatch of my credit card vide Express IT AWB No. [protected] on 24/10/08. When i checked the status of the courier I was surprised to note that the courier has been returned to the shipper since the consignee was not available. I wish to inform you that this is not possible as I have a maid at home and there is someone at home 24 hrs. Even if by any chance you have not found anyone home, should it not be your duty to drop a note mentioning non availability. I request you to look into the same and if possible courier me the card at an early date.

        This is to inform you that I am the Credit Card Holder of Barclay Bank, they have not sent the statement for last 01 year inspite of several request only because of raise the late payment fees, service charges etc. That’s why the amount will be high . But suddenly they have hired a Goonda named as Mr. Walia from Delhi and asking for full amount immediately . How can I make the payment immediately? and threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that He has told me that I will kill your family. What is this ???. Bank cannot do this legally this type of harassment. My purchase amount most probably for Rs.8000/- to 9000/- approximately. He is disturbing my Employer also., that will effect in my service. I am a very middleclass family. I am agree to pay the minimum amount due in monthly basis. I am asking for statement But he is denied to give me the statement .Continuously he is telling me to make the payment otherwise they will attack me with their team. Please help me from Goonda of barclay bank. Only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, the they have made this type of incident. I am 100% agree to pay the minimum amount due against my total outstanding. Gradually I will pay the amount to Bank., but not at a time.           I am staying in Bangalore. I got a call from barclays requesting to apply for credit card. I applied for that credit card and submitted all my documents. I also got the verification calls. After all verifications, I again got the call (on[protected] stating that my credit card has been approved and I will get the delivery of that credit card within next working days after receiving final confirmation call from barclays head office in Mumbai.Now it's been more than 20 days that I haven't got any call from the head office. The Number from which I was getting calls is now going switched off.I have tried this no. for so many times. I don't know where credit card has been delivered. I am very much worried that it might be possible that this credit card can be missused by someone else. I have also contacted barclays customer care on[protected]. Customer care person told me to enquire on[protected]/[protected]. I am trying this no. from past three days but all the time this no. is going busy. Thus, would request you to kindly look in to the matter and let me know the update on the same.

          I had applied for the Yatra Barclycard Platinum on the 29th of July 2008. I got a call only by the 9th of August, after complaining to the customer service 2 times The executive confimed to me that I would receive my card in 21 days. Then suddenly on the 21st of August, when I was awaiting the arrival of my card in a couple of days, I got an SMS from Barclays cards telling me my application number and that they will revert in 21 days.

          I have been trying to contact them since. First of all, they changed their e-mail ID. Also, when you mail to them on the new ID, it takes them at least 3 daysto answer youe query. Strangely, they have been telling me over mail that they have no record of my application number. To add to it, I end up getting the same email response everytime like it is a pre-written message. When I try to call them on the phone numbers given, the customer service gave me another number (for Mumbai, it is[protected]. When I called on this number either it tells me that, 'The customer you are trying to reach is not avaiable at the moment' or another recorded message tells me that the timing is 9 AM to 9 PM and keeps the phone even when I have called between 9 to 9. I haven't seen this pathetic customer service from any company, and would certainly not have expected it from Barclays.
          I too have a same problem, as she explained. still i have not received the credit card. No call from there side.
          I am afraiding are the going to miss use my credit card.

            I have lost my Barclays Bank Credit Card last year month of November and same time I blocked my card through Barclays Credit Card customer care. After 10 days I got a new card on the behalf of my lost card I did not aware fraud which has been happened on the same day when I lost my card. After 20 days of card lost I got a call from Barclays about my dues which was around 30, 000. After that I talked to customer care 4 to 5 time to know the statuse of my complaint but every time I got a same reply ( Your case in process )and still I haven't got any call from Barclay about my complaint status. And now I am getting call for the payment.
            This is the way to get money from the CUSTOMER by these Banks. I have been fade up and going to Consumer Court with my problem.

            after one month i had a call from customer care that my cheque was bounced . i am shocked to here that cheque was bounced but ecs was not hit my account . i told customer care number of times that ecs was not hit in my account and i am not know my due date for loan and i am not received my statement on time.they told me that we have receiving of ststement deliver on time i told him that send me copy of that pod . till date i am not received pod. after that late payment shown in my statement . i am told number of time to customer care that i am not received my statement on time but they ignore my words. after that i give him request for pre close one and half month back and i am paying him 224000 and mail number of time to high leave of bank and call to customer care number of time about pre-closer but till date no pre-closer was showen in my statement. know suggest me what can i do.

            Hello Sir/Madam,

            This is Charles from Chennai, I would like to get legal opinion from you regarding my credit card issue with Barclay Bank. Actually I got settlement letter from the bank on 20/03/09 and I have finished my settlement on 21/03/2009 itself, I had given 1 cash payment and 2 Post dated checks and got the receipts from the collection agency, also the 2 checks got cleared, (first check with dated 25/04/2009 & second one with 25/05/09 as per bank request and settlement agreement.

            Here first check has been cleared on 27/04/2009 and second check was cleared on 16/06/2009 in my account. But After that I am keep on getting call from the collection agencies and bank and asking the credit card balance (They are telling still there is 35K balance is there), I have the credit card settlement letter and slip and everything but they are telling me that amount is not paid within the date (Check should be cleared may 2009 itself) but they have deposited the checks 2 weeks later, its 200% bank responsibility to deposit the check on time, now they are claiming me to pay the whole balance amount again,

            Also they are sending goondas to my home and giving trouble over the phone and sending the goondas to my home, I am really frustrated about this, This is really very bad that asking money even after cleared the balance and settlement has done 1 year before.

            Now I would like to go for legal action . Please advice

            i hold this card since 2008 without any defaults from my side. suddenly bank sends me a letter saying card has been suspended without giving any reason. i have accumulated approx 1000 points but bank says that minimum 1250 points are required for redemption. now as they have suspended my card, my points are wasted. from my side no payment is pending . please help me in this matter.

              I had applied for a CC with Barclays bank (vide application number :[protected]) in the month of december - january this year. I never got any confirmation about the same whether it has been dispatched or not. However, i got a promotional product along with the CC for an insurance product from ICICI for health insurance for which i had to pay an EMI for six months (approx. 900/-) . I had informed them that i have never received any card or any paper work stating any further details. Now since few months they are sending me bills and SMS to make the payment of some where around 5000/- including the late fees. I have never received any card or any other paper work stating that it has been dispatched to me. Even bank sent me the email that they would be sending me the Credit card. I don't want to make any payment and i am being mentally being tortured by SMS to make the payment. Today they have send me two sms quoting that it would be sent to Credit Bureau.               One of thr representative called me and gave me the proposal for Barclay credit Card Priority Circle membership.
              But she din't gave me the information of the charges of Rs 6000 which I came to know through the statement, I received .At the time of the telephonic offer regarding this membership offer I asked her about any direct or indirect hidden charges, to which she said no.


              Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible as i am receiving abusive & thearetning calls daily for the same at least five to six times a day specially from these numbers[protected],[protected],[protected].

              BARCLAYS CREDIT CARDS — false bill statement

              from the past three months i am complaining barclays about my recivement of false bill payement from them but they are not taking any neccessary steps to it

              Dear Sir / Madam,

              This is with reference to credit card no: [protected] which self (Ashwin Hirani) hold of Barcaly credit card.

              Self called up the customer care in the first week of January & asked for minimum payment. I was informed that the minimum payment on my account is Rs. 3330 & some odd paise. So i made a online payment of Rs. 3340 on 6th January 2008 much before my due date on 08th January 2008.

              Today i received a call from the collections department, phone number :+[protected] from ms. poonam, mentioning that i have not paid my minimum amount of Rs. 3370 and Rs. 30 is still pending. I was stunned as i was not given correct information by the customer service department.

              First could you pls. let me know why my account was sent to the collections department when i have made each and every payment on time since the card has been opened. I understand that the account is sent to collections department only for regular defaulters and i dont have a single default payment on my account. Then why on earth was the account sent to collections ??? I am a regular payer of your credit card payments and it is a Insult & Disgrace to me that my account is with collections department.

              Further, the fault was not at my end. I was informed that the amount is Rs. 3300 & odd paise and i made a payment of Rs. 3340. When i can make payment of 3340, you think i will deliberately default / not make payment for a petty amount of Rs. 30 considering that i have a clean account with no late payments of any manner till now on my credit card. Then why was my account sent to collections department to call up. I expect a formal explanation why the customer service / some other department couldn't call me up and discuss this instead of collections department???

              Worst was the treatment given by the collections department to self. When i informed the same to ms. poonam and told her to give me her supervisor, she clearly mentioned that they have Team Leaders(TL) instead of supervisors. So, i told her to transfer this call to the TL. Hesitatingly and Unwillingly she transferred the call to Mr. Rahul Chauhan, Employee Id: 850321 who mentioned that he was a supervisor. I was surprised as i was told there is no supervisor but TL!!!

              I was very angry at the way i was being treated by Barclays. It was not expected to treat me in this for a mere Rs. 30 which was because of mis-information by customer service. When i started questioning Mr. Rahul Chauhan in angry tone, instead of trying to find out what the issue was and trying to pacify me, he behaved in the worst cheap, horrible, rough, rude and disgusting manner with self. He said he will not transfer this call to TL and gave his id and full name. He clearly mentioned i can send complain to anyone and was not ready to listen to self and banged the phone on me.

              This is the worst treatment i have ever received from any credit card company in the years that i hold credit card.

              I wonder if in such rough, rude & obnoxious manner your company treats your customers for a mere Rs. 30 and if not then i expect an apology from Mr. Rahul chauhan for his behaviour & attitude.

              Pls. note that i dont expect to be treated this way. Hence i will not make the payment of Rs. 30 and no further payments will be made towards the credit card, till i dont get an apology from Mr. Rahul Chauhan.

              Hope strict action will be taken against Mr. Rahul chauhan for his ghastly behaviour and this kind of nuisance will not be repeated again.

              Barclays bank Credit card — False bill

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              This is with reference to my Barclay Bank credit card # [protected]. I purchased some stuff from Subikhsha Trading worth Rs.671/- in December 2007 and tried to make the payment by my Barclay card but my payment was declined so I paid in cash. But still the same was added to next month’s bill. I requested to your customer care that reverses these charges of Rs 671/- as the payment was declined. The customer care executive told me that they will investigate the case and reverse the entry in three months. But your bank didn’t reverse the charges and instead added interest and delay charges and mounted the bill to Rs 3300/- (approx). I made the payment of Rs 650- in July as advised by Barclay Executive. He also confirmed me that the other interest and delay payment charges will be reversed within 7 days and a new card will be issued to me.

              But till date, neither the charges were reversed nor a new card been issued to me.

              I request you to look into the matter on urgent basis or other wise I will have no other option other then taking the case to a court & further taking any legal action for this mental harassment.

              Barclays bank Credit card — Arbiterary action and false charges

              Dear Sir

              As per the enclosed form, I wish to file a complaint against the credit card division of the Barclay’s Bank.

              I was approached by a representative of the Barclay’s Bank for taking a credit card of the bank as the bank was offering a wide range of facilities to the esteemed customers like me. After a lot of persuasion by the representative, I agreed to take it.

              I had put forward a few conditions to the representative of the bank, like free joining, no annual fee and no fee on foreign exchange transactions, as the basic purpose of me taking the card was to use it for transaction when travelling abroad. All these conditions were agreed by the representative and I was assured of this.

              So I applied for the card and was issued a card “CreditCard #[protected]’.

              I used it once, abroad and on my return paid the full transaction amount in one payment, itself. Subsequently, I found out that I have also been charged the Foreign exchange transaction charge. The bank did not inform me neither called me asking me for payment, I found out on my own. When I contacted the customer care department and brought to their notice, that I was assured of no such charge and still have been charged, I was told that the bank was sorry and the charge would be reversed with 15 days.

              I contacted the customer care department, the first time on the 27th Spet ’07 and the subsequently on 6th Oct ’07, 19th Dec ’07, 28th Dec ’07 and then on 11th March ’07. All these phone calls were made by me to resolve this issue, not by the bank asking for their payment. Every time, I was assured that the matter would be resolved in 15 days and the charges would be reversed.

              All these calls were recorded by the bank, they should have copy of the conversations, for my claim to be counter checked.

              Since, I did not get any resolution from them, I wrote the first email to their customer care department on the 1st May ’08, (copy of the mails attached) again asking for the same resolution and this is when, for the first time, the bank came back to me telling me these charges cannot be reversed as the request has been turned down by their management. When I asked for the reason, no such reason was shared with me. When I asked to speak to a senior person, I was never directed to one. I wrote back again to the customer care department, on the 6th May ’08, telling them that this arbitrary behavior of the bank is not acceptable and demanded a resolution to my problem. I never got any response to this mail.

              However, from here on, I started getting calls from the bank’s collection department / agency. Some of the callers were polite and some were downright rude and even threatening. A few time I was asked if I would meet a representative of the bank and explain the whole situation, to which I agreed. Appointments were made, however, no one ever turned out.

              I would like to put this on record, that all throughout, it was me who was trying to follow up and resolve this issue, in good faith.

              Now, I have recently found out that the bank has reported negative against me to “CIBIL”, which is totally wrong and unethical.

              Sub: This is for your kind Information only for my Safety and my family.

              Dear Sir,

              This is to inform you that I was the Credit Card Holder of Barclay Bank. Ref :-Barclay Credit Card no: [protected]. They had not sent the statement for last 01 year in spite of several requests through email and over phone. My purchase amount approximately was Rs.6000/-to 7000/-. But before settling my dues I want them to furnish me statement of account, on which I can make the minimum amount due against my outstanding as per the Credit Card rules of the Bank.

              My Credit Limit of that Card was Rs.20, 000/- only. I doubt that they must have inflated due amount by levying unduly high interest, late fees, unnecessary service charges etc. Now I am in Bhopal. After coming Bhopal, I told to Customer Care Executive of Barclay bank to Send me the Statement through Email or change my address in your records then customer care has told me that I have to go to Delhi for make the payment, because they have no network in Bhopal, and suddenly they have invalidated my card without prior information. If I have got the statement in monthly basis then, I can make the payment as usually. How can I make the payment instantly ??? . I belong to a simple middle class family.

              I was approached thru hired (Goons) named as Mr. Suresh Walia from Delhi and asking for payment of full amount immediately which as per this goonda is hovering around Rs.15000/-, Mr.Wallia has used abusive language to me and to my relatives and has threatened for dire consequences and has also threatened that he shall eliminate me for good. I have asked Mr.Walia about his introduction the he has told me I am the collection agent hired by Barclay Bank, whatever he wants he can do everything, if necessary he can use mussel power also.

              I have told to customer Care executive regarding this matter, but they have told me that already we have closed your card and we have transferred to collection agent for collection. This is completely without my knowledge. How can I make the payment immediately ? He is threatening and torturing me over mobile Phone and land line phone. Not only that he has threatened me that he will kill my family. What is this ???. Bank cannot do this legally this type of harassment. He is terrorizing my Employer continuously and office colleagues also which is affecting my mental peace and affecting my office environment as well. Not only that he has told me that he will destroyed my carrier. I belong to a simple middleclass family.

              Now my family is completely unsafe from Barclay Bank’s Goonda. I am asking for statement. But he is denying to give me the statement. Continuously he is telling me to make the payment at a time, otherwise they will attack me and my family with their team .

              For your information, I have been receiving these threatening calls from [protected], [protected], [protected] which have been displayed in Mobile phone. This Goonda already has given the threatening to my aged father in law and used very rough language. My family is mentally upset . Just 2/3 days before Mr. Walia has called to my Wife’s mobile used tremendous slang and Bad language and tortured mentally.

              Note :- The matter has also been reported to the local Police station at bhopal, and a formal FIR made against Mr.Suresh Wallia.

              Request to do the needful in this regard.

              Barclays Credit Card — false charge

              dear sir,

              this complaint is in regards to false charge from barclays credit card. in dec. 2008 i made a complete payment of rs. 11675, except for the late payment fee and the tax on it. that is, rs. 674. i complaint it to [protected]@barclays.com in[protected], asking them to waive of the false charge. i also asked customer care person about closing the card and he advised me to cut the card and submit it to any barclays office, which i did. now the problem is they have been charging me interest on the late payment fee of Rs. 674 till date, which have been become Rs. 7,337.98.

              they have been charging the interest till now, without sending me any statement on e-mail or post. there was no contact made to me via phone, e-mail or post. if my account is still active they should have contacted me in the past 2 years. it sounds weird and funny at the same time that they have been charging me on the interest and not communicating with me. i really have no idea why barclays is doing this to me. may be, this the way barclays makes money.

              i request you to help me out solving this problem.

              i will be grateful to you for this.

                  I am vijay, i am using barclay credit gold credit card since 7 months.I had asked for balance transfer for my ICICI credit card, since i was unable to pay ICICI bill amount.But due my residence address confilt i didnt recieved that balance transfer cheque in time.Then i asked customer care and reported me that cheque was sent to old residence address and it was returned.Then i asked them to cancel that balance transer cheque becuse i had payed my ICICI payment through cash, they said it will be done with in one week.then i called them after 15 days about my query, but they said query status is in progress, then again after 20 i called them, then also status was same, then i warned them to cancel that asp.then my new bill was generated in that bill they had added my Balance transfer amount, again i called them they said it will be revised soon you can pay the remaining amout apart from BT amaount.then i did as they said.Later on after 45 days i called then also the status was same, i got fustrated and i tried to talk to their supervisour, then supervisour asssured me that balance transefer amout will be canceled with in 3 days.with in that 3 days i have recieved the balance transfer cheque, so now for me that cheque is of no use.then i called them to ask why they have sent this afer i said to cancell then they said to return back that cheuqe by sending it their postal address.so it will take another 10 days to cancel and also by that time my next bill also will be genereated, so now i told them to transfer my call to superviousr and they said at mid night they will work with superviousr, i was shocked hw can they work with out superviour.SO PLEASE SUGGEST WT STEP I SHOUD TAKE FURTHER.they are try to gamble with customer and also they are not caring for customers also.t

                    I am Rahul Tripathi, i made pymt thru chq on my o/s of Rs 788 on my barcleys bank credit card before due date at a drop box at byculla station.The chq got credited afetr the due date for unknown reasons...The bank, after repeted mails still asks for money and sends stsements, also it says that i have not got in touch with them, whereas i have saved all the correspondense with the bank... Now to let the matters ease off, i have finally made a pymt thru chq of app.Rs 1000+, still i have got a mail today saying that they have send my name to CIBIL...

                    Credit Card — Pressure

                    Sir,
                    I was issued a Credit Card No.[protected]A/c. No.[protected] by SBI Cards. The limit was Rs.74, 000/-. Thpough I have not exhauseted the whole limit, I was told to make a huge payment. I have already made a payment of Rs.50, 000/-. For quite some time past, the representatives of the SBI Cards are pressurizing me to make huge payment. I offered them that I would be able to make a payment Rs.15, 000/- in installments. There had been no response since then. All on a sudden, I received a Lawyer's Notice yesterday demanding the paymetn. My records will say that I was very much regular in payment. However, as my eldest brothe was suffering from CANCER which ultimately took asway his life, we had to amke huge expenses towards his treatment. Coupled with this, my wife, who is having a very fragile wealth, needs immediate operation for her perennial ailment. I have not even the money to consutl an expert regarding her case. If I am pressurezd in this way through telephonic calls, letters or Lawuyer's Notice, then we have no other options to COMMIT FAMILY SUICIDE TO RELEIVE OURSELVES FROM THE CONSTANT STRESWS AND STRAIN. MEANWHILE, SICNE THE RECEIPT OF THE NOTICE, MY WIFE HAS NERVOUS BREAKDOWN AND I APPREHEND SHE MAY COMMIT SUICIDE WHEN I WILL BE OUTDOORS FOR MY OFFICIAL WORK. I will be able to pay to Rs.15, 000/- in 6 installments. I humbly pray to you save the lives of a middle class family. I am sure, you willbe kind enough to grant my prayer.

                      This issue dates back to this year Feb08 when I applied for a Barclays Card and the application was approved on Feb21 I suppose. I did not receive the card as the courier person sent it back to Mumbai after making attempts (that’s what they claim). Subsequently I called your application status phone # and your customer service phone# and spoke with several agents, managers and Area manager (So he claimed) and they all promised that the card with be reissued and sent to me in 7-10 days. I waited for over a month but the card did not arrive. I called them again with no resolution. In the mean time I received a bill for Rs. 3000 change asking me to pay up. I have not received a Braclays card and I do not even know how a Barclays card looks like. I spoke with one of your reps and was asked to contact ICICI Lombard and cancel the insurance. I did that the same day and received an interaction#[protected]. The ICICI rep said that he will intimate Barclays and the charge would be taken off and I DO NOT have to pay for the insurance. I would like to inform you that ICICI your insurance partner has cheated me by informing me that the insurance charge was Rs. 240 change and charged me Rs.3400 change. I have spoken with 2 different collections reps (One from Chennai and Mumbai). I repeatedly told them that I am not responsible for the charge as I do not have the card. I have been receiving SMS, automated calls (at 8:59AM when I am asleep at my night shift).The total experience has been excruciating. I have tried calling your numbers Mumbai[protected], Delhi[protected], Chennai[protected] but with no response. I received an email which says that I am a defaulter and I will be reported to Credit Information Bureau India Ltd. (CIBIL). I would be reporting Barclays with the consumer court and would be reporting about your fraudulent ways to the Times Of India. If you would want to resolve this issue amicably I need a written apology from you and an email from the Head Of Barclays customer support/Collections that I do not owe you anything.                       I also had the same kind of experience, I used the card for 3500 and the min amount due was 280, since i was out of station and could not make the payment on time and my next billing date was also near, i called the customer service and informed them that i would make the complete payment once i receive the current month statement. My due date was Jan 08 2011, However I started receiving calls from Jan 18 2011, The executive told me to make a payment of at least Rs.500 and they would stop calling. Believe me I received more than 50 phone calls from 9AM to 9PM. They would all speak the same thing and would DEMAND for Immidiate payment. The even threaten to keep calling if no payment was made. It was painful to keep picking up calls every 15 mins and keep saying the same thing different executives. On Jan 19 while i was travelling to office on my 2 wheeler I got a call, i almost couldnt avoid but picked up the phone when i got hit by a car that passed by. Thank god that i did not lose my life that day. it just ended with a dis-located leg and a few bruises. Inspite of informing the same to the executive, they kept on calling me repeatdly in 15 mins duration stating that the system is dialing the number and they are not. They also told me that they cant help if i am in a hospital and they cannot stop the calls from coming. After all the struggle I made a payment of 1000 and thought that it will stop, however they still started calling me every 15 mins and insisting that they did not receive the payment. I even provided the Payment reference #. It almost 3 days and calls dont stop. Later one executive calls and tells me that the next statement has been generated and the min due is 1030, where you have paid 1000 you need to pay the remaining 30rs to avoid us calling. My due date to make the 1030 is actually Feb 08 2011. and they are harassing very badly for the payment not understanding that i am in the hospital.

                      If I did not make a payment and my last payment was several months old, then i understand how desprite the bank could get to collect the payment. But it just a week past the due date and all this harassment. I had been using the card for at least 3 years and never missed out a single bill, i always made the complete payment on time. They did not consider this as a fact and were very rude. I don know if i can take this legally. But I will surrender back the card for sure. The bank has no respect for its customers even if they have been prompt in payment over the years. I feel that the RBI reglations for Credit Collection is only for documentation and never a rule to be followed. A common man can not get justice for all the harassment and rudeness shown.

                      It only Value for Money and Money is what people have become. We call ourselves brothers and sisters and do not value them.

                        I have Barclay credit card.( Card Number is [protected]) This point is important to know that upto now neither I used the card nor apply for any health policy.In the month of January, 2008 I received credit card Statement .In which theydemaded Rs.810.53/-as EMI interest and EMI capital. I could not understand for what this EMI was.On enquiring about EMI they respond me that a health policy is given to me. I told them that I have not applied for any health policy.Even I have not received any document or certificate about such policy.On 30 january I mail them about such fraud.They wrote
                        "Dear Mr. sisodia, We refer to your e-mail dated 30th January 2008 requesting for reversal of the ICICI Lombard insurance into your credit card account. At the outset we regret the inconvenience caused to you.As requested, having reversed the finance charges of Rs.4490/- levied to your account as reflected in your statement. Please note that the credit for this reversal will reflect in your next statement."
                        In the month of March, April and May they are continuously imposing late fee and penalties. I have talked them no. of times on phone . They accept their fault on phone and assure me to resolve the issue in 2-3 days. This happened so many times.But matter could not be resolved Now they are continuously disturbing me on phone.doing sms and mail.They have disturbed me so much that that I am mentally very much upset. Even I wrote them that if you disturb me again and again I will go to court for compensation being meatally harrased.Today they send me sms that they are handing over the case to third party and they will collect the amount by hook or by crook.

                          I am a Barclay Credit Card user since last 8 months. The customer care for this bank is very very poor. For the first time I got late in making my payment by just 2 days over due. The collections agent started calling my home town instead of my current address twice a day threatening my parents. I have already made my payment and money has been debited from my account. Still collections agents are calling and torturing my parents. I called up customer care for barclays and I spoke to an agent named 'RIZWAN' who was utterly rude. I asked Rizwan if I could speak to a Manager so I could lodge a complaint. But he refused me in plain words and was rude. Said in plain words that he will not at all connect me to a Manager. His Manager name as he told me is 'MANISH' who refused to come over the phone in the first place. I need help to get this thing resolved. Besides making the card payment the collections are torturing my parents in my home town. I want them to call me on my numbers. I am in Gurgaon. My number is[protected]. I am very much upset with this Bank.

                          Sir, I'm using Barclay's credit card. I was charged a late fee in my feb-08 statement, even after i have paid the on-time. I use to drop the cheque specified by Barclay. But they took 8 days to credit the cheque and put a late fee.As a consumer we don't know what has happened to our cheque after putting in drop boxes.Intially when i enquired about the late fee they said it will be reversed in my next statement.But till date it was not reversed and my card also de-activated.But every month they are billing me late fee charge.I explained to customer care and also mailed many times to reverse. I need help to get resolved from this problem.I'm in chennai and my contact no is [protected].I was getting regular phone calls and sms which is disturbing a lot in my work and at home.Please do help me to solve this.Thanking you.

                            Was offered the bank credit card by their DSA(email ID:'[protected]@yahoo.com') for a cash back of 5% on which i applied but when i received the statement its never reflected, upon calling the call center they said they were sorry but nothing can be done now you may continue or cancel the card just make sure you clear all your dues before that.

                            I am having Barcleys credit card but not using so that I am regularly receiving calls from them that we have offer specially for you bala bala. one day received call from their customer tele calling dep. and offer me priority benifit and they clearly said that it is free of cost so I like this service and I confirmed that " if there is no any charge or annual fee then I like to take" but after one month I received SMS that your due amount is Rs.6741.6 on that I spoke to their call centre for this they said their system is not working call me tomorrow, when i have spoken to executive they said that you have taken our priority service so I said that caller told me that it is free of cost then she reply me that we will call you after checking your voice recording so still i am waiting for their calls after giving so many reminders.

                                This is to bring to your attention that I, Dr. Meghna Baruah, have received a dubious phone call on my mobile phone from a landline MTNL phone no: [protected] at 14:40P.M today the 3rd of June, 2008 from an agent/individual named Swati vis-à-vis processing of a BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD.
                                Today (3rd June; 14: 40p.m), I received the phone call from above agent/individual named Swati that my BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD is being processed in Chennai and that I further need to submit copy of front-back of my ABN AMRO CREDIT CARD for same.

                                When I accosted her that I had earlier stalled and aborted the processing of BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD as I was not interested and instead a fraud may have been committed by a colleague in the procurement of a credit card loan on my ABN AMRO CREDIT CARD and issuance of cheque/draft on my name (15th May) and addressed to unknown person Neelam Mathews (known on 17th May through ABN AMRO TELESERVICES AT[protected] and the possibility of the subsequent deceitful change of my residential address, the agent/individual said it was a mistake.
                                It is correct to assume that this particular agent/individual is working in collusion/nexus with the earlier BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD agent and other persons (Bank/Courier services) who had initiated the fraudulent process in the first place.

                                When such profound fraudulent incidents with such malafide intent had occurred betwixt 15-24th may in particular, how can one be in denial and term it a mistake, what’s the further intent of the said shameless and unscrupulous person/persons to persistently persist in their attempt for such an exercise of damage.
                                FURTHER ENQUIRY FROM MTNL NUMBER: 197 OF DETAILS OF TELEPHONE NO: [protected] OF PHONE USERS; THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS HAS BEEN LINKED TO THE ABOVE PHONE NUMBER:

                                It would facilitate the ongoing investigation process if concerned authorities followed the deceitful antecedents of the said person/persons residing and working in the above address.

                                WITH REFERENCE TO EARLIER FIR C-123/SHO/EOW DATED 27TH MAY; 8.40 P.M.
                                To recapitulate in short the events leading to the fraudulent sanction of loan of Rs. 2.0lakhs on my ABN AMRO credit card and subsequent deceitful change of my residential address from Second Floor, T-8 Green Park Main, New Delhi-110016 to 7/248 Gali Jain Mandir, Shahdara, Delhi, I had apprised you (C-123/SHO/EOW; Received 27th May and 8.40 P.M)) via a copy of E-mail and letter to ABN AMRO, M-6 HAUZ KHAS BRANCH, NEW DELHI in writing dated 27th May, 08 that an agent for BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD DIVISION had called up in mid-week of May (15th May) that she had mistakenly filled/used my residential address for a client bearing the same name as mine for a CREDIT CARD LOAN and whether she could receive the couriered package at my residential address which was flatly denied by me because this was bunkum and blatant fraud and deception. I had earlier submitted self-attested copies of my PAN CARD AND ABN AMRO CREDIT CARD for processing of a BARCLAY’S CREDIT CARD from the same agent; the process was stalled and aborted by me at a later date.

                                In the meantime the fraudulent incidents that ensued and as intimated to you and S.H.O Hauz Khas P.S, ABN AMRO bank and directed to Mr. Nikhil (FRAUD SECTION, ABN AMRO BANK) through multiple E-mails and letters in writing and are as follows:

                                4. Deceitful change of residential address from T-8 Green Park Main, New Delhi-110016 to 7/248 Gali Jain Mandir, Shahdara on 24th May through ABN AMRO ACTIVE E-MAIL ALERT.

                                It would facilitate the ongoing investigation process if concerned authorities followed the deceitful antecedents of the said person/persons residing and working in the above address.

                                  They have activated some offer called priority circle offer. and debited 5000 and service tax on my account. But I have not received any gift or any document . They had called up in Feb 08 and told that you are selected as a special customer by Barclay Card, so we are giving you this offer. You will get life time discount of 20% to 30% every shopping, dining, etc. you will get so many other benefits. But I have not received any gift or any thing or any document even. When I enquired about this they told when you will have to pay the amount then you will get this offer. When I knew this I requested to cancel the offer in March. They had taken the request and assured me of reversal. I kept on asking the customer care but everytime they say that your request in under process. Once I got a call from Barclay's saying The offer is deactivated on your card and you don't have to pay anything. But In the statement the amount has increased as they have charged late fees and other charges. It is now 3 months but my request for cancellation is still under process. My card is suspended and the amount on my card is increasing every month though I have got nothing. I have also written mail to Barclay. But there is no action taken. The custmore care service is worst. It is extreme mental harassment for me. They will lure you of many offers on phone but not give anything in written.

                                  I was called up by barclaycard on 25th june 2008 and they told me that you have been selected for barclay card priority circle offer. You have to pay Rs 5000 + service tax next to next statement.. My billing date is 5th july 2008 so it should get generated on 5th august 2008. I was told that i would recieve the gift vouchers for life time free some dinning discounts and other gift vouchers for travel and all. Also a free gift (A travel bag) worth Rs. 2000 will be free. I will also enjoy a grace period of 20 days to return the same. I have not recieved any gift as of yet and they have charged me in the bill of 5th july. When i called up and asked why i have been charged when i have not recieved anything... they told me that you have to first make the payment and then you ll recieve the vouchers. On hearing this I asked to cancel the offer but they denied and said it cannot be cancelled.

                                  I think this is too much fraud on the barclaycard side and they dont even bother...
                                  Even the customer car is bogus some of the number do not even work and the bsnl number i have to try for 1 or 2 hrs then it gets connected.

                                  I hope nobody else falls in the trap of barclay card

                                  Also I am having a 21 days grace period currently. This has been mentioned in there website of barclaycard.
                                  Clause number 2b, that this particular offer is voluntary and user can also quit the offer in the 21 days grace period. They can withdraw the offer when the user is in 21 days grace period. But when i called the customer care they said you can't withdraw/cancel the offer. Check out the link.

                                  Barclays is supposed to be one of the leading and true International player in Banking. I have lived and travelled intensivley in Europe and have witnessed the kind of customer care shown.

                                  Assuming the same i had agreed to apply for a Barclay Credit Card when one of its sales executives called up. To my sruprise there is no online service where one can check their current balance and transactions. On one particular instance my purchases have gone more than my available credit balance, and a letter has been sent to me quoting the above reason and my card has been deactivated will be deactivated untill i cleared the dues. ( in reality, i had paid well more and above the minimum mentioned payment for that month ). I was so embarassed to read that letter. Same day when i got this letter, i called up on 6000 4444 and spoke to one these executives and explained her the situation. How can a statement like that be made and mailed to a customer who has no prior intimation on his available balance (where there is no online service to check the same nor an SMS or call informing that one is about to go over the available balance?). I then requested the customer care executive to arrange me a call back on the kind of poor service, for which i was promised for a call back in 48 hours. Which i never did. I call them back after a week and the same story and promise is repeated saying that we are sorry and will make sure that I will get a call back with in 48 hours. But all in vain.

                                  After all this i called up the customer service executive and spoke to a guy named : "Sandeep" on 19th August 2008, between 2 and 3 PM. He was clueless on what he was talking and his customer support skills are a big 0. I try to expalin him the situation (priority circle offer), he says that i have to call the priority circle and make the payment. (But Y should i make a separate payment? when the sum of 5000 Rs and odd has been debited from my available credit card balance and i have paid my credit card bill well on time and with descent current available balance) Is this not a kind of purchase?

                                  Finally i tell him that since I am having a very bad experience (customer service) from Barclays, i would want to cancel my credit card. Instead of being apologetic, this is the response i get : "you can not cancel unless you clear the outstanding amount. Once you clear that, then you may place a request to cancel and take it up further".

                                  This is a disgrace to BARCLAYS in employing such customer service executives. Hope BARCLAYS reads this complaint of mine and do the needful in not losing any more customers.

                                  Barclays Credit Card — Priority Membership Offer against credit card over telephone without written consent

                                  I want to bring to your notice a malpractice that is being practiced by some of the banks. I myself have been a victim of such practice.
                                  Barclay's people were after me to take their card. Unfortunately I took it. Real adventure began once I received the card. On one day, I received a call from Barclays; the lady on the other side told me that I have been picked up by Barclays as an esteemed customer and they would like to send me few gifts so they need my address and they need to record my consent in terms of Yes or No so that they can send me the gifts. When I enquired, I was told that these gifts are free of charges but surprisingly this part was not recorded. To my surprise, I see Rs 5618 levied under my card. When I followed up quality department said that I have given my consent. It was a shock. I think the people hired by Barclay's are experienced professional who can mess with the recording system.
                                  And i think the consent has to be written. Over Phone anybody can mess with the system.
                                  This a big flaw in the Barclays system which they are using in their favour.

                                  to any membership of braclay credit card.and i surprised when see the my credit card stattement.they are cheeting to the people.where i need to go.
                                  Lets follow the following steps:
                                  * Send the card for cancellation first.
                                  * Register a FIR in your local PS against Barclays for harassment and false charging and kind of money laundering.
                                  * Send a CP to these with a caveat that if this goes any further we will file a case in consumer court.
                                  * And in the meantime we can go through the process of filing a case in Consumer Court.

                                  I am also a victim as you people are. Barclay has made my life hell. One fine morning it was a Sunday 25th Oct, 2008, they called and promised me some priority circle offers. They have not told anything about the charges for the same. Now I came to know from one of my friend that it costs Rs. 6K+. On that very day I mean on monday 26th Oct, 2008 I have called the priority circle customer care to cancel the offer. They told clearly once activated it can not be canceled. Then I have written a mail on 31st Oct, 2008 to [protected]@barclays.com about the same mentioning the fact that I don't want to enjoy such a nasty facility from such a worst company. Also told them that I will cancel the card and refund it to them, if they did not help me out. I have not received any reply till now. Where as from last 10days I am mentally harassed by the customer care of Barclay for the payment of the same. But things to be noted that I have requested for the cancellation of the offer just after the day it is been activated. Also given a written request which has not been considered at all. Above all the great achievement is they have not sent any kit which they have promised in this scheme. I don't know what is their notion about the intelligence of the customers they are having. Whatever the most ridiculous fact is now their customer cares are telling that pay Rs 350 which is the minimum payable amount for the bill, then they can take the request of the cancellation . So the facts comes into picture is, the cancellation request can only be taken on payment of Rs. 350 out of nothing. I have again written a mail to them that if they continues calling me for the payment of this amount I will take a legal action in this case. When I have called Priority Circle customer care they threatened me that they will listen to the record of the conversation of that very day and will decide accordingly.

                                  So what I thought of doing is not to pay a single rupee to them and in this concern we should file a case in consumer court to make the crap business of this company to an end.

                                  In all cases stated no where it is mentioned about written consent being taken before charging membership charges which is a must.Everything that the sales people tell you about the scheme is verbal.In my view, in absence of written agreement the bank has no authority to even call the customer for asking them to pay for the false commitments. The need at this hour is to unite and fight against this fraudulent activity of Barclay Priority Circle.
                                  We all should get together and take legal action against the Bank.
                                  I am sick of getting calls from Barclay for a loan which I have never asked/applied.Suddenly in the midst of a meeting there will be call, I receive 2-3 calls daily for this bloody loan from Barclay & everytime I refused but they never updated in the system that this customer doesn't need a loan.I have told them that I will send back your card but there is no effect.

                                  A SBI Credit card agent requested be to just sign on Barcleys CC application form but I refused

                                    myself prashant kotkar applied for barclay credit card and after some days there was a call for me from yours center that you will got the card within 2 to 3 days .after some days there was a call for me from courier services that they are reach near by to my residence, but i had tell him that nobody was at home so please send it to my office but after that no call to me or no mail to me. i had send two mail but no replay to for the same.this conversation had done 3 and half month before.

                                    My credit card not delivered from last 8 moths. But statment is every month delivered reguler.
                                    As i call in cust. care they said me always " Your card will be delivered with in 10 days". They call me for the payment but why should I payment ?

                                    I applied for saving account in last week of April’08. I had submitted all essential documents. My account has opened and my login password received but my welcome kit is not yet received because banking person misprinted my address. I have requested to your banker many 30 times but they are not trying to deliver my kit even they tell lie. Your customer cares persons providing services are absolutely ridiculous.

                                    I have taken Barclay Bank loan. I am having problem in closing the loan. According to me this is the worst bank in INDIA as handling the customer is concerned. Customer care people are the waste fellows, they don’t have basic knowledge about the finance/bank. They have some common dialogue and hobbit of reading that.
                                    It is the worst bank in terms of service to the customer .I have thier c.card. Even after paying on time i get a late fee, when i complain to the customer care they asure me of prompt action but there is no action till date and 3 months have pased since then.
                                    Yes I have got a credit card but I didn't get pin number for that card to take out the cash from the bank. Even I called up barcklay bank customer care so many times for that but I didn't receive any pin number & nobody has curtosy to call up & tell about this.

                                    Barclay Bank — Not received my credit card

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    I would like to bring to your kind notice that my Barclay Credit has been dispatched 2 months before to me. it has been a long since i recieved the sms that my card has been approved but i havent recevied my card till yet. Once I get call form bluedart office but as per my duty timing 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. i was not able to receive the card at my home address. also changed my office address.my previos office address was 1, princep street kolkata-72 but my new office address is 7 p.s sarkar street kolkata-72 2nd floor of epitome house.

                                    I have a salaried account with HDFC and now they have put a hold on the amount in my account saying that I have some amount due against my HDFC Credit card. The most surprising fact is I do not have any HDFC credit card.
                                    Once I called up Phone Banking dept, I got to know that the card is suspended since Sep '05.
                                    All my details are not matching with the card, and nobody is able to tell me the concerned department for the resolution.
                                    I am pissed off as I have to make necessary transactions to make through my account and nobody is taking any pain to resolve it.
                                    A p/l was sanctioned to me. The P/L Account No. is[protected]. Part of the sanctioned loan is credited to me and part amount is returned due to mistake printed on the B/T Cheque in month of May-07. We requested for rescheduling of EMI for the balance amount. On request of bank representative we clear one EMI in the month of June - 07 and without any intimation bank presented EMI in month of July-07 due to which we face lot of problems. Since that no one responding for our geniun problem of higher EMI against low amount of loan. I want to saty that if I do have extra or spare money why should I approched bank for loan and pay intrest for loan. We stopped to pay higher EMI amount and waiting for rescheduling of EMI of loan, but unable to get any reply from bank. I tried to get justice in my case of over higher EMI whoever approched to me on behalf of bank but unable to get justice. After long exercise I approched incharge of personal loan department at bank cooperate office of Delhi but no soltuion come from the meeting. After that mr. Amit Kanwar approched me and request for clearing an EMI and promise to resolve the problem but till date we didn't get any solution except a mail from him on 13th Dec. 08 that he will revert with solution in next 48 working hours and never revert back. After that I lodge complaint on 21st Dec. 08. Till date I didn't get any reply from Bank. If this is attitute of bank i don't have any option except to go to Court for Justice.

                                    I had Barclayse credit card offered to me free .
                                    I didn't use it for any purchases or didn't accepted any offer . but still bill is charged to me .
                                    I refused to pay and asked to closed credit card .
                                    Now after I applied for loan to other banks I came to know that my name is in cibil lsit .
                                    How to get it resolved as early as possible . I required personal loan on very urgent basis .
                                    My all personal loans since started has not a single bad record at all .
                                    But it all vanished because of this .
                                    How to get cleared my name for this list ?

                                      hello everyone i am using barclay bank credir.card.i personally suggest you, plz do not go for credit.card of barclay bank.this bank is nothing more than a .they dont have any branch to sort out cust prblm, no bank employee to talk with either.i made a payment of rs 15k in jan but in my nxt statement there was no payment showing..i called up to bank ragarding the same but nothing happened..i asked them to visit any branch or to meet any bank employee, but they told me that there is no bank branch and no bank person whiom u can meet...thats ridiculous.i dont know i they have no branch and no emplyees so why they are spreading their credit card...you know why...just to make you guys 'a bank defaulter'...oh yes i forgot to tell smthng abt their cust service...their call center exe just knw nothing i think barclay is using some cheap call center and cheap executives as well..just to reduce costing...now i am a bank defaulter even after continously paying my outstanding.if anyone want to knw something abt pathetic service of barclay i can explain u in detail...leaving my cont below..

                                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                                        I would like to bring to your kind notice that my Barclay Credit has been dispatched 1 months before to me. i have recevied the PIN of my card but i haven't received the card yet. it has been a long since i recieved the sms that my card has been approved ON 25 APRIL 2008 but i havent recevied my card till yet. Once I get call form bluedart office but as per my duty timing 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. i was not able to receive the card at my home address. I also changed my job and I infrom to the blue dart customer care and barkley customer care. 2 weeks before I got a call from barkley customer care from bombay and i again told the same thing to them. But I still not get the proper response regarding the card status.
                                        Please make clear that either my card is disapproved or it is send to my new office address as soon as possible. Because it is very irritating to me.I want correct status of my card.Pleae take note of my problem and help me.

                                        I feel that there is some fraud going in the name of Barkley Bank Card. I have also applied for the same 2 months back after a call from some excutive from Bankley bank . But fater one confirmation call there is neither any update nor ccard is recieved.

                                        I request barkley bank to stop any futher processing on my application, and return me all the documents they had taken with the application along with a cacellation leter of the application.

                                        L.L. Bean. Two purchases each for aprox. $800.00 a piece at a Wal-Mart location. I am trying to find out any & all information about this situation, unfortunatly this credit card is new through your bank and because of this I do not even know the acct #.

                                        he told me 13% but after our discussion i refused due to higher rate of intrest then offer me 12% i shocked and i asked him wether it is came up to 11% this person very arogantly tell me that it is not macchibazar he is talking in very cheap language.
                                        you please take care to valuable costomer your peoplr are hurting very much to me so i am going to quit your credit card dont call me again.

                                        hi, this is p.s.gopal this is regarding the letter i have received from your concerned barkley credit card office mumbai i got a call from barkley credit card executive he took all the details about my PAN card my savings account my job profile my designation, and he told me that he will send an executive to my residential address regarding my PAN card xerox copy as well as he told me that he will issue me a MIT (most important terms) but he dint turn up and now past 2 days back i received a letter saying you are not eligible for the card my queiry is without any consultation of me how can u people issue this kind of notice to me please take this as a serious matter and also give me a feed back about what went wrong in my eligibility for the card hope u people gonna mail me as soon as possible

                                        I had not brought the Priority circle and i was debited 5000 without my informatiom six months back. But after my constant call to customer care they are not able to help.

                                        So i have stopped the payments of about 12000. Currently they have kept on debiting the interest and ouver due charges.

                                        One of their agents had come and assured me that my interest will be waived and even the priority circle. and had taken the part payment.

                                        After a month time a new person comes and says the same old story and ask the minimum payment.
                                        But if i am ready to make the payment but there is no bank person is not ready to settle the same.

                                        I got a Barkley credit card July of 2008. I only used it 2 times and never got a bill. I got concerned that I never got a bill for a month. I called and they told me a electronic bill was sent to my email. I called and told them I never got it and it must of went into my spam file. They demanded I pay the $ 20.00 late fee and would not waive it. I paid the credit card in full that month and cancelled it. This has came back to bite me in the butt. I have applied for a VA mortgage and was told that my credit rating is excellent but the about problem is showing up on my credit report. Last Wed.2/25 my loan office and I talked to a supervisor at the bank and he agreed to correct this so my loan can got through. As of today Sat. 2/8 the bank has done nothing. My wife and I are on our way to Florida and now will be homeless until I get the approval. We had a closing date of March 4th for the new house and now it can't happen until the 11th and that might not happen. This will cost us a extra $ 5, 000.00 for a place to stay until settlement and for our all our stuff that the moving company is moving and will have to put into storage.
                                        I applied for a card and I received a lettr from Card Services asking for a copy of my Passport

                                        I applied for 7 heaven Jamaica Credit card, if I know that this bank was the one. I will never apply. First I sent the total payment in December, Barkley did accept the payment when my original bank did not release the money because the check was not sign proper. Instead of Barkley contact me about the situation the charge a late fee for $79.00.
                                        When I spoke with the customer service he told me that after the company received the payment the bank will remove the the charge of $39.00. I check the statement and I see $79.00 when I call the customer service was very rude. I don, t want this bank service. I regret 100% to open account with this company. Barkley is stolen from the customer with hide fee when the company was the one who made the mistake and I was never late. Thank god that I only used one time. I do not recomemd this bank to anybody who want a real bank service.

                                        I received a call today form some Mr Nauman Khan who claimed to have called from Barkley India and was offering me a Platinum Credit Card. He started asking me for my personal details and after getting all my details including my PAN card no., he wanted to have my 16 digit credit card number. When i refused to furnish the same, I received a call from some Mr. Mushtaq who identified himself as Senior Executive at Barkley, Mumbai Branch. Still I was not ready to furnish my credit card details and asked him to drop me a mail with his Barkley's ID, and then only I will provide the details, on this his manager called me up and tried to convince me in several ways.
                                        However I eventually did not furnish my details.

                                        I urge you to please urgently look into this because to me it looked like a forge call from some miscreants who might be involved in some kind of forgery business by using the name of Barkley.

                                        I am looking forward for some action from your side in this regard.
                                        The month of June I spent talking to various customer service employees about a situation with my credit card. I became exasperated at times but I continued to follow through until I was in contact with a young lady and after hearing my situation connected me to the right person. My situation was resolved immediately.
                                        I spent most of June talking with customer service representatives. I needed to get a situation corrected. It took several weeks to finally fine the right customer service rep. who knew who to connect me too. When she connected me, my situation was handled swiftly and completely.

                                        I thank myself for continuing to call to get the right person and that that person was so efficient.
