I am shareholder of bata india ltd. Sinc more than 30 years. Every year i receive two discount coupons entitling me to purchase two pair of footwear at 20% discount. This year i have not received these coupons along with dividend cheque.

    Hi, we have four family members who are shareholders of BATA. We did not receive any discount coupon last year. This year also, only one discount coupon has been received on one member's mobile.
    Is the discount coupon distribution now random or has the eligibility criteria changed?
    Our family would keenly look forward to these coupons and shop for the monsoon wears from Bata.
    Can you please help us to get these discount coupons? Please let me know what information is required and whom to send it.

      Recently on 5th of august 2023, around @7:50 pm, we have purchased 3 pair shoes and socks which is a bill of 5900 rupees in the bata show room, unfortunately we have lost the bill. we have requested the shop person for another bill of my purchase, but the shop person is refused to give us another bill of my purchase.

          I bought a hush puppies chappal worth Rs. 3000 from bata on 4th Mar 2023 and it got damaged within few days. I didn't used it much. I went to my nearby bata showroom and explained the damage issue and I asked for a replacement but they denied it and asked me to file through a customer care service. I complaint and they denied to change it. I need a replacement for the same.

            The product I have purchased on[protected], 11 months ago cost of 2800/- the shoe product bottom sole was broken and not I a good quality when I visit the nearby bata showroom one were responding me please do solve this issue as soon as possible if not I'm gonna complaint on this.

              I ordered a product online using Bata website. The problem never delivered due to unavailability.

              Their Customer care always close ticket without resolution and the email address mentioned on the website for escalation behave in the same manner.

              They just open ticket and close ticket with customer care rulebook lines as replies but no resolution.

              The product was purchased on 28-June for Rs. 750 and it is been a month i am struggling to get my hard earned money back

                  As per Bata refund initiated on 1st July and so far refund not credited to source account. Payment was through credit card and customer care keep on mentioning it's netbanking. I have shared evidence of payment and also evidence of no refund. However, customer care fail to understand real issue and keep on asking netbanking details. When asked to show evidence of refund initiation, they only provide reference number which bank is failing to recognize. Had couple of calls which was a worst experience and waste of time. They promise to call back and no one calls. Bata is testing the patience.

                      I have placed an order on 11th jun 2023 for Rs 3898, i cancelled on the same day for some reason, still the refund is not credited, i have asked for bank referrence number still are not providing

                        Two times money got debited from my UPI
                        on 11th June i went for BATA showroom
                        1697 SEC MG ROAD II
                        9.26 km

                        and took a pair of school shoes from the store
                        First time i made a payment, showroom manager MR. Shirish said amount was not received, i had to make payment 2nd time . Manager said amount made first time will be refunded, but still no update and no refund . He was saying happened with other customers, so still now how much money the manager or the Bata company is looting from customers i dont know . I have registered a complaint in customer care also, they are saying no purchase is also done, i have not ordered anything this year. I dont know what's going on.
                        Please check and take a closure look which is really a serious thing going on where the money is going .

                          I recently purchased a pair of Bata sandals, and I must say, it has been an incredibly disappointing experience. Not only do these sandals fail to deliver on their basic functionality, but they also pose a significant risk to anyone wearing them, especially during rainy seasons.

                          First and foremost, the slipperiness of these sandals is utterly absurd. It's as if they were designed to be ice skates rather than footwear for everyday use. I've never encountered such a treacherous surface on a shoe before. With every step I take, I feel like I'm walking on a slippery slope, just waiting to lose my balance and take a nasty fall.
                          The soles seem to be made of a cheap and low-grade material that offers no resistance to water
                          It's baffling how a company like Bata, which has been in the footwear business for years, could release a product so ill-suited for rainy conditions.

                            I have purchased Hush Puppies Men TAYLOR Slip ON Shoes through Amazon E-Commerce platform on 27.05.2023. On 12.06.2023 I found that the stitching on the top surface of the R side shoe is tearing and coming out. I have complained this to Bata India customer care on 16.06.2023 and they said that this issue has to be highlighted to Amazon company only. And they have sent a Email to me regarding this.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am Mukund Limaye from Solapur, Maharashtra.

                            I had purchased New Topper Chappal from your Solapur shop as per Invoice No. CM[protected] dated 24.05.2023 one pair Size 09

                            On 30th I opened the box and wear the chappals and went on my routine work. But I was not feeling comfortable after wearing these new Chappals but thought of may be due to the new items purchased. But during the day I was not comfortable and chappals were fitting tight. I thought that my legs are having some swelling and due to which might be feeling tightness. But I am using these no. 9 articles of BATA since last more than 15 years and never had such feeling. After careful checking found that the supplied Chappals are having size no. 08 instead of 09.

                            Today morning I visited the shop at Solapur, Maharashtra from where these were purchased and asked for the correct size chappals. But as I had used thes for one day, the owner refused to replace.

                            I can send the photographs of the hang tag and the Invoice which is showing NO. 09. Where as the article delivered is of no. 08

                            I am totally disappointed over the attitude of the shop owner saying that why I wore the Chappals when they were not fitting properly. I tried to explain him that the tag and invoice is showing article size as No. 09 so I never though of any mistake from your side. But only after returning home found that the wrong size chappals were delivered.

                            Will appreciate if can take appropriate action to get the same replaced from the shop. Actually it is a mistake from the factory who put wrong tag and also mistake of shop keeper who did not counter checked while giving the delivery.

                                I have placed an order with Bata India on 09 May 2023 vide order number BW[protected] for an amount of Rs.1500/-. The message recevied from Bata regarding despatch through ekart courier service vide AWB SRTP[protected]. Recevied a message from ekart the item been undelivered due to operational exigencies at their end on 15 May 2023 and intimated that rescheduled on 16 May 2023. However till date no messages or calls received from Ekart logisitics also from Bata India. However, Bata india been contacted me till date through their customer care as well as email, and replied it is under priority consideration. However Bata India never updates me, only i have to call them and get updates. Today when contacted Bata India, they intimated me to cancel the order and refund will be initiated within 07 days, which is not justified. Hence, it is requested to take necessary action on Bata India as well as Ekart logisitics to supply the order or else refund the money with penal interest of 24% due to deligence as well as false statement/promises made by Bata India.

                                  Online purchase of chappals

                                  I was shocked to receive a pair of absolutely damaged chappals, which I ordered online.
                                  Imagine my utter disappointment in receiving these, more so, considering the fact that I am also a shareholder in the company.
                                  I have already written to them along with the photographic evidence if the damaged chappals.
                                  Just waiting to see how they resolve the problem....

                                    I have been using school shoes since I was a kid and buying school shoes for my kids from Bata ever since they started going to school. This has happened for the first time that shoes got ripped off from around the toe area. When my son arrived home, he told me how embarrassed he felt in school as his shoe had a long cut in the front and his sock was visible from it.

                                    When i reached out to the local store from where i purchased it in Phagwara, they said they cant do anything as it has exceeded the claim period.

                                    I just wanted to know if this is what we are going to face being a lifelong user and a shareholder too!! is there a compromise in the quality of material of the shoes or the company policies??
