Sir,
Iam consumer no: 1769 of M/S Keerthi Indane services, Mynagapally.Today while changing to a new cylinder massive leakage of gas was noticed and reported to the dealer. The dealer first asked me to take the cylinder to their service centre for inspection. As you konw it is very dangerous to carry a leaking cylinder. I asked them to come and rectify the defect or to replace the cylinder. Even though today is the supply date of lpg to this area they told me that they are not coming for supply in this route due to non receipt of cylinders to them from IOC and advised me to wait for them till next Thursday for rectifying the defect of my cylinder/ replacement of my cylinder. The last cylinder was supplied to me on 10/10/11. The second cylinder available is empty. Now cooking is not possible from today 2pm due to non availability of LPG. Please instruct your dealer to attend harzardous complaints like gas leakage immediately at the consumers premises as early as possible rather than instructing them to carry the leaking cylinder to the service center.

LPG — Poor service regarding leakage problem

I am a consumer of Indane gas. My consumer number is 10954 and agency name is Vimal Gas Agency, shop no1, Mahalakshmi aptt, Cosmos town, Jaitala road, Nagpur-22.Ph no-2249691.
I have complained regarding leakage problem 4 days ago to this agency but i yet not have received any replacement cylinder. Everytime they assure us that they will send cylinder today but they are not sending it. They are not co-operating at all.
So, please look after the matter as soon as possible.

    I have a gas connection with the consumer No. 50454 at SHREE BALAJI GAS AGENCIES #39/1, 2ND CROSS, OPP BANK OF SAURASHTRA, HMT MN, RD, MATHIKERE EXTN, BANGALORE. I approached Gas agency on 10 Nov 2011 for an additional cylinder, since it is very difficult to maintain with one single cylinder. The Gas agency just told me to deposit Rs. 3600. I enquired the matter and came to know that the 3600/- is inclusive the cost of One gas stove and one cooker. I am already a Bharatgas customer and have one gas stove already and I told this matter to the gas agency. Inspite of that also they are insisting me to take the gas stove and cooker. I felt it as a harassment. So it is requested that I may be issued the additional gas cylinder as per rules and regulations existing in INDIA.

      Dear Bharat Gas CO India

      I have my Gas connection in the name of my sister. Now she has been married and gone to Chennai and her name has been removed from my ration card. I was getting gas upto now. Now the gas dealer is telling that the gas can be supplied only if the name of the consumer is available in the ration card of me. If so whether i can change the gas connection in my name by getting a concurrence letter from my sister. What is the procedure for the same.         On Aug 2011, I had request for new gas connection at Virdi Bhart Gas agency , Phase 10 , Mohali , Punjab

        Every time i go to agency , Baldev singh (owner) refuse to process the connection request and say that he is not getting the cylinders from Head Office .
        He is charging for new connection are Cylinder charges Rs 1800, unknow : 700 , Burner : 2500 ,
        Where the Burner are very low quality which are between Rs 500-600, but they are giving it forcefully on Rs[protected]. Irrespective to customer (myself) required it or not .
        My fight is that actual connection charge is only between Rs[protected] , then why they are charging Rs 5500 /- . I had email to bharat Gas HO too but still didnot received any help .
        Pls tell me how can I fight this kind of inconvenience , whom to i approach , Bhart Gas Co, RTI , Food & supply office or consumer Court

          I have book a gas cylinder in Bora Gas Agency (Distributor Code 117475) Rudrapur, Uttrakhanad at 23 October. My Consumer No. Is 17322. when I go at Agency or ask at Phone I get straight reply we have not the quota of cylinder. In this agency now-a-days Manager is not appointed. I have also make many calls to Customer care and Regional Complaint Centre at Barailly. They are giving me different mobile numbers to talk but no one is responding and if responding then they are misguiding only. I have only one cylinder and now in these days my family is suffering.           booked cylinder on 4th of july in bora gas agency but still waiting for delivery. Tried many time on [protected], but no response. what to do get cylinder, please suggest me on [protected]@rediffmail.com.

            I was preparing my neighbours and friends en masse to desist from paying tips to the delivery man of the refill cylinders, urging them it was not needed by regulations and what were not required by rules and regulations must not be encouraged in practice. My impression was as by the bond executed between the consumer and the supplying agency, the latter was bound to deliver the refill order, free of transportation charges if within two kilometers or any tips. I myself had stopped giving any tips long ago. At this, the delivery man came to me and pleaded with me not to induce others to refrain from the practice of paying tips. He said all that he wanted was a tip of Rs. 15/- over and above the actual cost of the gas. Of the Rs. 430/- as cost for the gas, he said, Rs. 228/- is to be paid at “the office”, only Rs. 2/- being for him. He also said: (10 the vehicle used for transportation was his and the expenses for the diesel for transportation was met by him out of his pockets; (b) the refund for the above, if any, wouldn’t be regular or certain; and (c) the escalating costs of the diesel would not be compensated for unless he was paid the tip. He had an old ailing father and three children to look after and he could not make both ends meet, but for these tips.
            Since I don’t want to enjoy the financial straits of a man, I acceded. But let me raise these points for clarifications and do hope I could get answers for them.
            1. Are the customers, even within three kilometers of the supplier gas agency expected to defray the transportation charges in the form of these tips? If so, I don’t have any objection. If not it amounts to abetting corrupt practices, however small the amount may be.
            2. How much would a reasonable tip be?
            3. Are not transporting vehicles provided by the Supplier Gas Agency, but have to be arranged by the delivery men, including their fuel charges?
            If, however, the facts are otherwise than stated by the delivery man, with tears in his eyes, I intend to organize resistance against the practice of tipping the delivery people again, amongst my neighbours and friends.

                Sir,
                I have a LPG connection from M/s Gautam Enterprises (agancy of M/s Bharat Gas Ltd), Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 110 095 . My consumer No.22004. As pipeline gas connection has been installed at my resident I wanted to surrender my connection. Accordingly about six months back I visited my agency and asked them for surrendering of LPG connection what I have to do? They told me that someone will visit my residence and collect empty cylinder and pressure regulator and hand over me my security deposit of Rs.1000/-. Next day one person came to my residence to collect empty cylinder and regulator. I personally made a call to the agency from my landline phone for verification. Agency people talked to the person who visited my residence and after that talked to me and told me to hand over the cylinder and regulator and take Rs.1000/- from him. Now when I visited the agency for obtaining a surrender certificate as desired by PNG, the agency people are saying that they have not received any cylinder and regulator. When I insisted that you said you will send a person to collect cylinder and a person comes to my residence next day for the same purpose and after verification from you on my own landline phone I handed over the empty cylinder and regular to him now how you can deny that you did not received empty cylinder and regulator. It is obvious that you people have collected cylinder and you cannot denied the fact.

                Then they advised me to get my connection transferred to some other place so that LPG connection will not be shown at my present address and PNG people will not ask for any certificate. They said they can easily transfer my connection to some other place. But I did not agree to their proposal and asked for surrender certificate as I have already surrendered empty cylinder and pressure regulator. They advised me to come after a few days and they will do something. But again when I visited their office after one week they refused to give certificate and said they cannot do anything for me.

                Thereafter I tried to lodge a complaint with M/s Bharat Gas Limited but unfortunately there is no online facility for complaint available. I found a window in their website for lodging complaint but it is also not working. Customer care number is always busy. When I got connected the person on the other side said that their site is not working and hence advised me to call on Sunday (30 Oct 2011). After trying continuously for half an hour I got the call on Sunday but again the official listened my complaint very patiently and after that advised me to call on Monday (31 Oct 2011) as my complaint is genuine and there is no senior officer is available for lodging my complain.

                It is very surprising that a reputed company like Bharat Gas does not have online complaint facility. Their customer care number remains always busy, if at all it is connected the official available there can not even lodge the complaint and advise only to call again.

                I do not know what to do. Finally I am posting my complaint at this site. If any official of M/s Bharat Gas Limited read my complaint kindly help me and solve my problem.

                  The officers/official of Bharat Gas Agency HLRDC at Hisar releases the press note to make a call to book the gas suplly. But they hold up the Land line nos and forwards the mob call to the no that is out of order/buzy or not working. In this way they makes the public foolish.
                  The officersoffials are for the public service, but they harrash the public wasts the time of public and make fool to the public. This is a serious matter that the public servant make the public foolish, harrash etc.
                  So you rae requested to lodge FIR against these officers/officials who workers agianst the nature of their duty.

                    The complaint is against CWPRS Khadakwala Agency gas agency. I am holding LPG connection of Bharat Gas & my distributor is CWPRS (Khadakwala) Agency. We have to take leave from job for 2 days just to refill the gas. One day for booking & 2nd for making receipt & if cylinders are not available then again next day. Every time we goes at-least we need to spend 2 hours in Que. They don't even deliver the cylinders & deliveries are mostly for their employees who stays in their quarters. Hopefully someone will take action to improve the process.

                        Bharat Gas — Delivery of cylinders after 4 weeks only

                        We have a connection with L. D. Bhave & Co. since inception. However, of late they have started booking for a replacement of a new cylinder after 3 weeks of the previous delivery. The gas cylinder takes another 5 days as per them.However, the last time it took 9 days. We are a large family and need a cylinder every three weeks or so. Would solicit your advice in this matter.                         I booked on 16.01.2010 but till date we are not received in gass cylender. Please check the foul play behind the distribution of the gass cylender of kichen aid the distributor of Baltikuri, Howrah. WB

IN AVAS VIKAS, RUDRAPUR AREA DISTRIBUTE ONLY FRIDAY. I HAD LEAVE FROM COMPANY AND STANDING IN THAT AREA IN MORNING SINCE 4:00 AM FOR GETTING CYLINDER. IN LINE APPROX 120 NOS. PERSON BUT AGENCY DISTRIBUTOR SEND THE CYLINDER ONLY 50 TO 60 NOS. I HAD CONTINUE THIS SITUATION 3 TO 4 TIME, BUT I HAVE FAILED TO GETTING THE CYLINDER. IF WE ARE GOING TO TALK IN AGENCY THAN THEY HAVE MISBEHAVE, SO TELL ME, HOW TO GETTING THE CYLINDER. HOW TO MANAGE THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM. DUE TO THIS I AM VERY ANGRY AND I WILL COMPLAIN IN CONSUMER COURT VERY SOON. IF YOU CAN DO SOME THING THAN GIVE ME SOLUTION VERY SOON.
                        Yes this is frequent problem with Bora Gas Agency. Everyone is suffering from that. Peoples have to stand in que from 4:00AM onwards to get the Gas.

                          Respected Sir,
                          I am residing at Santhinagar, Athani, Angamaly. My Consumer No.is S-13291 registered in Seena Gas Agency (Angamaly). Eventhough I have booked my gas on 21.09.2011, the agency doesnt provide us the gas until now.And the same is happening for the last 3 months. When I called them and asked about this, the agency told that they will deliver the gas only after 60 days and donot have the stock right now and other unnecessary reasons. Due to the unavailability of the gas, we are suffering a lot. It is learnt from the newspaper that the gas agencies must provide the gas within 25 days, else we can give complaints directly to the collector. There should be some responsibility in handling the services of the consumer. If we ask why the gas will be delivered late, the persons in the above said agency will answer rudely, arrogantly and misbehaving manner. They say that "you can complaint to anybody, we don't care and nobody can do anything" and "we have seen thousands of customers like this, we don't bother". In this regard, we request you to kindly look into the matter and give proper suggestion and guidelines to the above said agency.                               Hi i am Kirankumar Bhavimani, my Consumer No is 39566. I have changed my house and the adrees needs to be changed. My Old Address is #122, 1st stage, 3rd Main,5th Phase,Mahaganapathi Nagar, WOC Road, Bangalore. and My New Address is # 279, 3RD STAGE,2ND block, 3rd"B" Cross, Basaveswara Nagar, Bnagalore-79, Currenlty My distributor is M.S.D enterprises and want to change it to ANUGRAHA AGENCIES, because Anugraha Agencies distribute the gas in this area, but ANUGRAHA AGENCIES are not ready to accept my request. Please take appropriate action againts them, it becoming very troublesome for me to go to Gas agency and collect the Gas cylinder and come.

                                N.F.Railway consumer cooperative society located at Maligaon/Guwahati-781011 do not carryout home delivery of LPG cylinders as per norms of IOC and IOC do not carry out neither any inspection nor any customer complain redressal session for the said dealer of LPG, which is ment for exclusively for Railway staffs. All concern should do needful early.

                                  I G.N.Amlani having a Customer I.D. 8413 in Akansha Gas Service,Adhartal ,JABALPUR i booked my cylinder on 8.10.2011 by phone and they respond me my serial no.174 asking me within 7 days u will get ur cylinder at home. But on 24.10.2011 when i go to Gas Agency then i got that my booking date was entered in Agency on 12.10.2011 and i know from there enteries that Hauker Subhash has already dilivered my cylinder on 17.10.2011,but i did not get my cylinder till date.They did not respond me in properly I am fedup from all this thing.
                                  Please do the needful and reply me soon.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      This is Premkumar, having Consumer No. 29816 in this agency, I am a new Consumer having only One Cylinder. I have booked the cylinder on[protected] and followed up until today[protected] saying that they have no cylinders to supply and if it is must you can come and collect the cylinder from their Warehouse , approximately 12 Kms from my Home, which will cost me about INR.250/- for getting One cylinders additional than the Cylinder value. Being One cylinder consumer, as the gas got exhausted since one week, I am using Kerosane stove as alternative for cooking.

                                      It is regretful to inform you that, your approved Gas supply agencies, in Cherpalacherry, Palakkad , they are neither having any system in supplying Gas cylinders to the consumers nor any manners to deal with the consumers. First of all they never respond to the consumers over phone, even if they attend the Phone, use to speak very roughly and disconnect the phone immediately. And Further, this is not first time to happen with me, they always behave in the same way.

                                      In veiw of the above, It is my kind request to you, to look into my grievances and do the needful by providing me the justice.
