This is dineshkumar from chennai. We are having bharat petroleum cooking lpg gas connection for nearly 6 years. Our booking for refilling is done by the Hindustan gas agency ,4e,Kasturibai nagar ,1st main road Adayar,chennai-20 . For the past six months are so ,they are not delivering cylinder in time they are taking more than 20 days to delivery and also they asking more money then ,what was actually in the bill. This month also same thing happening for us.And also while we are calling the agency via phone number which they had provided in the bill.It will keep on ringing with no response. Nearly 5 to10 times we got there directly also ,but they not giving any response.So we decide to register the compliant in consumer forum.So you people can do the needful for us.Plz see the details below :

LPG Gas — delaying refilling cylinder

I have booked for refilling my gas cylinder 26-august-2011, my hp gas booking number:251243.cash memo no:149270, till date was not received my gas, my consumer no:649186.But till now, the distributor [distributor code:959970 SWAMI ENTERPRISES H>P GAS DEALERS VIJAYA NAGAR COLONY, HYDERABAD ANDHRA PRADESH, is neither willing to provide the refilled cylinder .Also the distributor is no longer attending their phone..they are saying come and collect ur gas from dealers office they are not providing home delivery, why...? There are lots of customers here, suffering with the same problem under this agency. some kind of people giving in black gas easily but customer not getting gas easily why...? kindly take necessary steps as soon as possible.. thank u

    I have a consumer no.MP6677 and the distributor is M/s M.P Gas Services,Bharat Gas Distributor,Khairasol,Near Chandi Mandir,Degaulle Avenue,Durgapur 713212, booked a gas cylinder on 3rd August 2011 and they have given a booking number 21,but still i have not got my cylinder.On calling them they do not pick it up ,it seems that they had either hooked off the telephone or they are not picking it up intentionally.Luckily even if they pick it up they speak roughly and angrily and give useless promises.I stay out of station in connection with my service and my wife and my only son are facing a lot of problems as at present both the cylinders are empty and using kerosene stove for cooking.
    I would like to inform you that this is not the first time and it is happening in every booking.
    You are kindly requested to please look into the matter and instruct the distributor to deliver the gas as early as possible.

    Bharat Gas Cylinder — Extreme delay in delivery of cylinder

    Sir,
    My consumer nos is EV-31772. I had booked a bharat gas cylinder on 20th Dec 2010 at EXCEL GAS AGENCY, SECTOR 29, VASHI, NAVI-MUMBAI. But till date i.e 17th Jan 2011, have not recieved the cylinder inspite of visiting twice personally at the agency and trying their contact nos but in vain. We are not satisfied with their behaviour as we get rude and abrupt answers. Kindly do the needful ASAP and take appropriate action against the agency,so that we get service on time and doesn't have to borrow cylinders from others,
    Sub- No responce for double cylinder.
    This is inform to you that last 14th May I submit a application letter to our local office, ie. Jiaganj, Murshidabad. Till now no responce from that office. So please take necessary action & oblige.

      The Ratan Enterprises at kalewadi phata Pune has the disgusting service.... i have booked for refilling of my cylinder 20 days back and still the cylinder is not delivered at my place.... when we ring at the so called "service providers" they just randomly give out different telephone/mobile numbers and ask us to call on such numbers... when tried on these random numbers its either busy or once your the ring is gone they just switch off the phone..... when gone to the office they say it will be rached in a day n so.... the language they speak with the customers is usually of very abusive kind.....

        Respected Sir,

        I am Dilip Singh Having a Bharat LPG Gas Connection from your Distribution Agency by the name of M/s Frinds Gas Agency and my Connection No. is 3005, the Major Problem what I am facing is delay in delivery of refilling of the Gas cylinder from last 2 months.

        Often they gets the delivery late by 10 to 12 days. Most Pathetic think when we ask about the delivery status from the Agency they used to reply that delivery has been done.

        Now a days we expending hell lot of time in search of the delivery Van.


        this is my humble request to you please look into the matter and resolve it.

          I have booked the gas in Bharat Gas consumer No. 23362 to Basaweshara Bharat Gas Agency, Yelahanka Old Town , Bangalore -64 on 25.08.2011, the booking no. being 12077350 but till today have not received the gas cylinder. Every time I or my wife rings up to the agency they reply that it will be delivered tomorrow. It has become a story book name If Tomorrow Comes....

          I am a consumer of LPG gas of Bharat gas having my consumer No.7869 with the Dealer namely Sri Bharat Gas, Khapuria, Cuttack. I have filed an application along with an affidavit and other required documents for issuance of DBC, second cylinder since more than one year ago. But till date no DBC has been supplied. I have been requesting them time and again but the concerned agency is avoiding to issue the DBC with some plea or other for which I am suffering a lot after exhaustion of each cylinder. I am facing more problem as I am staying at a distance of about 12 Km and the agecy is taking almost 8 days time to supply a new cylinder. For this period my family is unable to cook food.

            I want to complaint against a PSU Bharat Gas agency. They are refilling one cylinders in a period 40 days. As per the court order company are liable to refill the cylinders in period of 48 working hour if there is not a condition of shortage. But the agencies are not refilling the cylinders on time. Earlier they were refilling gas on a period of 21 days. But I got a news in daily news paper Dainik bhaskar ( date[protected], Page 7 Balaghat news ) The companies don't have such kind of rules and court has ordered that the cylinders has to refill after 48 hours in case of booking. Due to this the customers are suffering a lot. The cylinders are the essential commodity for customers, if they are not getting in time so how they can survive.

            So please file a complaint against Bharat Gas, because they are not ethical with there customers they are exploiting the consumers by not only mentally but also economically. Due to this consumers have to refill cylinders through black marketing.

              HR Gas — Gas not on time and selling black

              I booked gas for home delivery on30.08.08 but till today 16.09.08 not deliver. Whenever I make phone call to their representative, they never respond or they just hung up without saying anything. Typically they don’t respond the call and seal the gas on black. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP.

              I have booked for a cylinder on Monday, 20 April, 2009. after several reminders we have not got the cylinder saying by Officials that they can not give delviery after 6.00pm and on sundays. we both husband and wife are working and not availabe at home before 6.00pm. we have register our Gas Connection Form as per our request of delivery afer 6.00pm. but every month Their delivey person will come in early morning. which we couldnt attend.

P-7951 in the name of smt.santosh devi pareek on dt.01/10/2009 but still today on 6.11.2009 i have not recieved the cylinder yet. i have been calling the Pawan Gas Agency (Tel-[protected],[protected]), Srimadhopur, Dist-sikar (Rajasthan). they say that there is shortage of cylinder in agency. they are extremely rude and show a careless attitude. Please advice whats the next step.

It seems like they keep the phone off the hook. And if you are lucky to make a booking which they promise will be delivered in a week's time doesn't happen for at least 15-20 days. In fact if you don't follow up, they don't bother to deliver at all. For example now I had Booked for the cylinder on dt. 25/05/2010 but yet today on 01/06/2010. there is not any response and nobody ready talk to us from the distributor of M/s. Chaitanya Gas Agency.               I face very poor and very rude response from Manisha Gas Agency. Tukaram Nagar, Near Ayre road, Dombivali-East. Tel No:[protected], [protected], [protected] every month while cylinder booking their phone lines are busy or dialed number not exist. It seems like they keep the phone off the hook. If you are lucky to make a booking which they promise will be delivered within a 15 days and if they doesn't happen and if we call back in after 15days there reply is your cylinder not yet come from Bharat Gas. In fact if you don't follow up, they don't bother to deliver at all. But if you ask them please deliver right now will give you 100 bucks more they will deliver within 30 minutes that means they sell in a black market.

Now the counter girl come with an excuse that we have made booking on 25th Aug and the cly will come after 2 days. This happen every time. We have noticed that this agency is selling cylinders in black ( more than the invoice amt) to other customers.

              Pls take serious action against them immediately.

And if you are lucky to make a booking which they promise will be delivered in a week's time doesn't happen for at least 15-20 days. In fact if you don't follow up, they don't bother to deliver at all. For example now I had booked for the cylinder on dt. 12.08.10 but even today on 01/9/2010 there is no any response .



              Kindly do the needful in anticipation.
              My self Santosh Rane is also a victim of M/s.Chaitanya Gas Agency. Dombivali east. The complaints which you are getting are absoulity right.
              This agency is not at all bothered about the customer, their phonelines are always busy I can bet you on this if you get their lines connected in first dial.
              If lines get connected they give false comitment.
              If you dont follow up they don`t bother to deliver at all.
              It`s just rediculous! you had to take a off from your office and run after gass cylinder.

              I am also the customer of Chaitanya Gas Agency, Dombivli (East) all the time phonelines are busy I booked the cylinder on 06.09.2010 today till 21.09.2010 yet we have not received the delivery of cylinder Consu. no. 80661. At the time of enquiry the answer will get still 26.08.2010 bookings are going on and same answer we are getting last 4 days.
              This is absolutely true.I am also one of the harassed customers of Chaitanya Gas Agency
              Chaitanya Gas Agency should be immediately directed by Bharat Gas to start cylinder booking by SMS and E-Mail.As their all phone lines are always busy and it is not always possible for customers to book the cylinder by visiting the agency.
              Even i am facing the same problem with Chaitanya Gas Service...I have booked the gas cylinder 15 days back and till today i did not receive any response from their side.
              I have called 25 times. Visited Chaitanya Gas Agency 6-7 times and spoke to the person incharge. All they say is Aaaj ayega Aaaj ayega then they started saying 1 ghante mein ayega then the next day they say half an hour mein ayega but it never comes.
              I have shifted to MIDC and coming from MIDC to that agency again and again is very cumbersome.

              Even i have to keep aside my important daily activities and work and sit at home and pray for the gas cylinder people to knock my door.This is absolutely ridiculous and i feel frustrated as just next to my bunglow there is a HP gas agency and i see everyday loading and unloading of HP gas and the HP gas people really give a quick and good service unlike Chaitanya gas service.

              I dont have any other option left but to terminate the Chaitanya Gas Service and opt for HP gas Service.

              I am a customer of Bharat Gas.My consumer number is 33774.The booking date is 29.12.2010 for our gas.My native place is Ahmednagar.The dealer name is Unitec Enterprises.There is no delivery of gas til now.So please act immidiately.
              My consumer id is 17925 and I am a subscriber from City Gas, Salt Lake, Kolkata. I have booked a LPG refill 20 days back and still waiting for cylinder. Meanwhile cylinders are available in black market. What kind of service is provided by Bharat Gas !!! There is one toll free number has been given on the site but that is also not working...I am sick of it now !!! :-(

              My name is S. Francis. My Service No. is 002. I want to complaint to Ammu Gas Agency. For poor delivery.
              I was booked the cylinder after 21 days when they last delivered, in that time they told me the cylinder will come after 10 days. But the days will go but cylinder will not come.
              Every time the cylinder will come after 50 or 60 days. (Total Duration cylinder to cylinder).when I asked their reason is “Low Stock”, but we give more money the cylinder will come with in a day, how it’s possible.

[protected] he pickup the phone and says within one hour Gas Cylinder will be delivered but not yet delivered.

              They not delivering to right time, it is very difficult to me, I am working in Media Organization.

              Kindly take Appropriate action against this Agency.

              Delay in the delivery of cylinder has happened several times, in fact, all the time! Its the same story always. Everytime, i book for a refill of cylinder with my Agency(Bishwanath Gas Agency, Dalkhola, uttar dinajpur w.b.733201), they claim to deliver it in 5-6days and it never happens even in 1 month's time. I keep calling at least 2-3 times a day and they keep saying that they will send it today.

              Horrible service! I m very upset by Bharat Gas for this matter. Many people have got complaints over this agency and people say that the gas is sold at good prices elsewhere by the agency; hence they say stock is not there.

              Do you know real reason why Chaitanya Gas Agency, Dombivli (E)is delaying refill? then read on...

              Chaitanya Gas agency is delaying refill by 21 days then on 21st day they send refill to customer by booking one more cylinder on customer's name. Customer assume they got refill booked 21days ago but they send first cylinder to black market and second cylinder is delivered to customer. Customer has no way to find this out. And every month this goes on. Customers are troubled this way and they make big money this way every month.

              Think how many such cylinders are diverted to black market every month? Bharat Gas senior official are not taking any strict action against Chaitanya Gas agency. So they are not bothered about complaints filed by customers. Sometime only temporary solution is provided but next month same old corruption goes on. Solution is to come together all Chaitanya Gas consumer and file group complaints to BPCL and Oil Ministry Or high court.

                I am staying in Air Force Station Panagarh it is 7 to 8 km away from MP Gas services.They promise us to delivered with in one week of booking but after joining not even one month he is coming to our air force station.We heard about great services of Bharat gas so we shift from Indian gas services to ur Bharat. Due to this type of attitude we are advicing our people not to go to Bharat gas.

                    The Maruti Gas Distributor of Bharat Gas in Vishrantwadi area doesn't pick up the phone calls for gas booking. They seem to keep their phones in busy mode or don't pick it up. This happens most of the times and is very frustrating.

                    We have gas connection with Bharat Gas through their distributore Basaveswara Gas Agency Yelahanka, Bangalore bearing Consumer Number 23767. He has his telephone numbers 28561299/28563299 for refill bookings. But whenever we call on this number, either its busy or no response.

                    In addition Bharat Gas does not answer its customer relations centre telephone.

                      When I noticed that my new cylinder is leaking, I have informed (06.09.11) the Gas agency ( Seena Gas Agency Angamaly) but they have no reaction. But their reply was wondering. They said that there is no drivers to send today so they are helpless. What we can do especially the children are running in and around the house.

                      Around one year back one cylinder was blasted in my home and we were escaped by Fireforce unit, Angamaly. So we are very very confused.

                      So I beg you kindly give proper instructions to the concerned persons to be vigilant even in such a critical stage.

                        Dear Sir / Madam,
                        This is to bring to your knowledge that on my tansfer from Bangalore the agencey Rohan Gas nor refunded the amount of Rs.750 on submitting the cylinder and regulator.Except gave the voucher saying on this submission you will get the same from the next agency you submit. On my submission at Sai Priya Agencies at Bolarum near secundrabad they have collected the amount of Rs1410 to issue the cylinder and regulator and gave the only voucher for Rs.750.
                        Today is day 4 and nor they have delivered the cylinder nor the regulator and when asked they say it will be delivered by today evening this is the statement used every day since past 5days. They first said we dont have regulator at our point to which i asked them to atleast deliever the cylinder but they are not doing so. My distributor code is 117425, Plot no.104, Sneha enclave, Dovtan Bazar, BLR, and My consumer no is 38234. Today when asked the lady told that it is delivered yesterday what the paper shows and its not delievered. Why should they play like this i have my family we are all suffering as i am ill i am unable to go and collect the cylinder also. Again when asked the lady says why dont you came and collect the cylinder from our godown which is almost 10 to 14kms away. I cant understand that why should they give false promises. Could you pls help me out.

                          Hi,
                          I reside in Perungudi.I had booked a gas around 20days back but still they have't delivered.I went 3 times to the office and every time they say dat it would be delivered the next day and to my surprise the next day never comes.

                          In the office there are 3 ladies among which only one of them can speak in english.The person is full of attitude and has a very bad way of talking to people.

                          They have 3 contact numbers.I have have tried to raech them around 30-40 times but all time it says busy.it is very evident that the receivers are ut down in order to avoid calls.Is this the kind of service the common people expects from a government agency.It simply ridiculous.They are just not bothered about the difficulty we face and go on harrassing people.

                          I need this issue to be urgently addressed.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Every time there is delay of delivery and the phone is always busy and booking people did not answer/respond properly. They don’t bother about any customer complain due to untrained skill and luck of education. Bharat Petroleum is a very renewed company in oil & gas field ..and they should have a control to their every outlet ,agencies and distributors to monitor the service area. I have booked to refill my calendar against my consumer no- 20325 on 18th August-11 through phone and after numerous reminder till I did not get my job done except wrong commitment. Now I am really helpless and asking your kind attention to troubleshoot my problem.

It takes 50 to 60 days time to get second cylinder, In spite of regular booking after 21 days as Result I am facing lot of difficulty as I am a service man I have no time to spire repeatedly.

                                My Bharat gas cylinder connection is with Harikrishna Enterprise, Bangalore (consumer number is 39945).
                                Recently I requested my dealer for additional gas connection for which he asked me to pay 3250/-.
                                where I am going to get additional cylinder, and some products. when I told him that I JUST want additional cylinder then he gave me below options.
                                1. Pay 3250/- and take home additional gas and products immediately.
                                2. If I don't want the products then I have to give a written application and wait for 1 to 1 and 1/2 years (or even more than that)
                                Is it mandatory to purchase production from the dealer for additional gas connection? can some one clarify me?

                                  There is regular delay in delivery of gas cylender from the Bharat Gas distributor in dombilvli west.I want to know the reason for the same.I have booked th e gas on 18/08/2011 and the scheduled delivery date given is approx 10 to 12 days . Till today I have not got the gas yet.

                                  The agency people are veyrude and not answering the question when we will get the cylender.

                                  I am working in police department. sothat my duty hours are irregular. I can't go personally to get the cylinder. I have given strictly information to the gas agency office for giving the cylinder in time. But then also I am facing too much problems.
                                  I have booked my cylinder on 17.7.09 on agency's phone no.[protected]. Till today's date i.e.28.7.2009 I didn't get my cylinder nor I get any responce from gas agency in this connection.
                                  So I kindly request you to do the needful. The matter is most urgent.

                                    I've booked for the refilling of LPG Gas cylinder Through M/S-Samidha Gas (Bharat Gas Agency) on 10/11/09 with booking No.208. My consumer No. Is 6835. So far the cylinder is not yet delivered. I've lodged a complaint on this forum with Ref. No. 75807 on 10/12/09, but nothing happened till today (16/12/09)

They Can not delivered to till date today Evening14/12/2010. I call National Gas Agency number [protected], 10 days regular, but she says me today I delivered gas in your Home. I also call Customer Relation Center in Hisar Ph. [protected], 5 days regular, but he also not response good. Problem is still pending. What I am doing now. Please Give me the suggestion.

                                      We have a Bharat Gas connection for cooking gas. We booked gas on 28 July and got delivery only on 18 Aug. Now we are being asked to wait for 21 days to book again and they say it will again take 15-20 days to delivery. Effectively we are being asked to run one gas cylinder for 2 months. How is that possible?

                                      Despite repeated discussion with the Bharat Gas distributor in Gol Market, Ganeshkhind Road, nothing is happening. They stick to booking only 21 days after delivery even if the delivery is delayed by whatever number of days. They keep saying there is supply problem and are asking people to physically come and collect cylinders. This is a nightmare situation for working professionals.

                                      Apart from that the distributor's phone is constantly engaged, they are seriously under-staffed in handling the bookings. People have to try for 1-2 hrs to get through to talk to them.

                                      There is a serious need of surprise check on the state of working of the distributor and also force Bharat Gas to provide proper supply of cooking gas.

                                      Help is greatly appreciated.
