BSNL complaint Dear Sir/Madam I am here to bring in your notice a serious issue concerning BSNL subscribers of J&K state . In a brazen violation of MNP regulations made by TRAI in 2009, JK BSNL is openly denying change of service provider to its customers. The helpline no. 1900 remains all the time in a default mode and doesn’t answer to any of the calls. Moreover SMS sent via postpaid numbers to 1900 fails all the time without generating any UPC code. With this issue once I went to the main Customer care centre/office of BSNL at Lal Chowk Srinagar, I was surprised to hear from the working staff of BSNL that Porting Out of BSNL network is not allowed by the officials of State BSNL as they donot want to loose their customers to other service providers though they hardly care about the standards of the quality of service and the regulations made by TRAI. Once I went to discuss this matter with the Senior Engineers of BSNL in the same office building, I was asked to put a written application for MNP which i submitted on 19.10.2013. The same suggestion was given to scores of other customers who had come with the same greivance. However the officers were still sceptical about the further processing of MNP applications as almost all of them were getting turned down by the Senior Authorities (like DGM/GM) of BSNL. In the large public interest I request you to take serious note of this matter and issue strict directions to the concerned department in this regard. BSNL J&K — Caller tune

Dear Sir,
Even BSNL J&K 1909 is not routed to DND. It is routed to IVR for product information.
If BSNL is not providing DND service, then how can we expect service from Private operators. It seems that Cellular operators are not following TRAI goude lines.

MAHANAGAR, LUCKNOW UP, TILL THEN OUR PHONE IS DEAD & NO BODY IS CARING FOR THE COMPLAINT.OUR BROAD BAND IS ALSO REMAINS DEAD.       I am having BSNL Land Line No.[protected]. Since last many years i am using this telephone which you can confirm from your records. Half of the time the Telephone remains dead. I had Broad Band facility on this telephone number which had to disconnect due to the non-functioning of the telephone, with pain. 2 pairs o[censored]nderground cables is put upto my home but i have been given over head cable line which is passing through so many houses. The cable has jointed so many places open and any body can use my telephone from hanging wires. I have time and again requested to connect my telephone from the cable connection already given on the wall of my house. I humbly request your honour to put an end to this complaint otherwise i may force to surrender my telephone with pain. I am paying the bill of my telephone for nothing and just now it is only a show piece in my home. I am giving below the complaint numbers of last 2 months.         Dear Sir, I am a BSNL mobile postpaid consumer since last 10 years. I have paid all Mobile Bills regularly & have fine record. I want to report you about the bill they have charged for the month of Supt 2013. They have charged me Rs.28857 and I have a plan Add on 325, they are saying that I have been charged for monthly rental (not reflected in bills due to system error) for the last six years. I have already reported the office about this fact orally. This is company's fault in there system, which they are accepting. And I have asked to pay this amount. I want to say that if I have been given this amount in the previous bills, I would have controlled the usage or else. And for about 6 years it was going fine and now they have send us this charge saying this is the six years due which they have not included the bill. This is all company's fault which I have to bear by paying huge amount in one month. I humbly request you that this charge should not be taken by the company because its company's fault. If a consumer would have known about it then we would have controlled our usage or disconnected it or else. Please suggest in the matter. Thanking you, Gunjal

          This is in connection with the no. [protected]. The BSNL coverage in Jalukbari area is very poor. Most of the time the phones remain out of reach/not reachable. While connections are obtained, there are frequent terminations of calls. This is uncalled for. Corrective actions should be taken. The service should be improved at all cost.                       I AM FROM LONDON.MY HOME PHONE LAND LINE IS NOT WORKING DUE TO THE CABLE FAULT SINCE OCTOBER 1ST WEEK.I ALREADY GIVEN COMPLAINT TO HEADOFFICE.BUT NO RESPONSE.MY PARENTS ARE NOT WELL, BOTH ARE TAKING MEDICATIONS DUE TO THEIR HEALTH PROBLEM.SO I NEED TO CALL THEM EVERYDAY.THERE IS NO RANGE FOR MOBILE PHONE BSNL AS WELL.PLEASE DO IT IMMEDIETLY .WE ARE PAYING MONEY SIMPLY I MEAN THE PHONE BILL.WHY SHOULD I PAY IF THE PHONE IS NOT WORKING?

                        Respected Sir/Mam, I am using BSNL connection ([protected]) of Haryana circle in Faridabad since January 2011 as it is roaming free to all over Haryana. Initially the signal quality of BSNL was good but now a days it is very poor and sometimes signals are not available for full day. One month has been passed since I got good connectivity. My this number is spread to all my known and relatives, so I cannot change this number. Many times I tried to call their customer care but because of poor signal quality the call never completed, hence no complaint was registered.                           My BSNL landline no is[protected]. My broadband connection is not working since last 15 days. I also registered complaint for same. Till date no action has been taken and I am suffering a lot due to this. I have to spend money on cybercafe unnecessarily.

                          Yesterday (on 16th october) somebody called from BSNL n told that he will come around 3:00 pm. Till 10:45 on 17 october nobody has come or called. I still don't understand how irresponsible these people. still complaint is standstill. Please try to resolve the same at the earliest.

                            few days before i applied for bsnl BB connection, but i get no reply through on line application then i decided to inquire by calling bsnl katol road nagpur costumer care. ladies gave me one one person number name as sachin.
                            i thought she is from bsnl so the person which whom she is telling must be authenticate agent. so next day i called him and with in 2 hour he came to my home, he told me that he is bsnl worker and ask for document
                            he told me that the modem will be given by bsnl. after 3 days i got telephone connection by them. then he told me that the modem will be fix by tomorrow. then next day he come to my home with modem and connected it to the pc to my surprise the telephone line power was down before 1 hour when sachin (agent) come to my home.(may be intentionally) then he fixed the modem to my pc and as there no power in telephone network so i was not able to check it. then for my surprise he asked me for modem payment, he told me that bsnl don't give modem and modem will be provided by costumer by him in this region. i gave him money and he left away. but after 3 day this modem stopped working and agent is not picking the phone...
                            i know this is my fault to trust him but how could we find out such fraud if bsnl customer care person give you such people number

                            my uncle who is lawyer come to my help. he tell him about rule and regulation. finally, he came to my home and solve the problem. now modem is working finely. and there is no problem in internet connection

                              Sir, My mobile no. is [protected]. Yesterday(14.10.'13) i had my balance above Rs.50(I don't know the exact) but today morning i came to see my balance reduced to Rs.20. When i called the customer care(1503) at first a lady attended the call and said something unclear, the only thing i could understand was call vas at 1503 and she ended the call in a hurry. The next time I got an instruction to call 155223 on which i couldn't accomplish. The information i got from the second customer care executive was that i had an activated devotional service on my phone and says i might have opted for it via flash message or commercial calls. But i'm sure that no commands have been given from my mobile for any such services. I need to know the exact reason and also need repayment of my balance. Your's faithfully, Arjun

                                my B.S.N.L phone is dead from past one and half year. i did so many complaints but i didn't get any response by B.S.N.L . i paid 3 months amount also when it was dead so now i want to get resolve my B.S.N.L connection.

                                  I am a BSNL Chennai GSM customer. I did a BSNL 152 voice booster on 5/10/2013. Needed to go to Karnataka, and did a Rs. 5 roaming booster on 10/10/2013. My previous booster stood cancelled and wasted and I later came to know that the Rs. 5 daily roaming pack was also a voice booster and doing a subsequent voice booster makes the former / previous one invalid. Nice way to cheat the customer without any prior information. At least a prompt should have appeared on the BSNL portal informing that the 152 booster would get cancelled when I recharged. No wonder why the customers do not go for BSNL. Will very soon port to another provider. Coverage is also bad with frequent signal drops and signal penetration inside the home is a bar or two in any phone. Sometimes this also completely disappears. Really a waste of hard earned money. Learnt BSNL high handedness the hard way. Never go for BSNL with their poor coverage. Mainly bought the SIM for 3G browsing when away from home due to cheap 3G rates. 3G works well only outside home. Once inside a building even one with just ground floor, it changes to EDGE.

                                  I am a loyal customer of BSNL broadband with two connections one at home and one at office. Satisfied and happy. But the GSM service probably running on 900 band is weak to penetrate home.
                                  Rate cutter/booster does not work when roaming. This is normal. But one booster cancelling the other that too a FIVE rupee booster cancelling a hundred and fifty two rupees booster is absurd. We all know that roaming is a necessity and BSNL kindly remove roaming booster from same group and also make available a prompt which will inform the users who are recharging through BSNL portal that their previous booster will be nullified if the customers are doing recharge of new booster.

                                    My BSNL prepaid mobile no [protected] and SIM card no is[protected].My BSNL prepaid mobile sim card has been blocked on 13/10/2013 for trying to lock my mobile by using password .When i had tried it for three times it has been already blocked.
                                    Presently when i on my mobile it is displaying that PIN BLOCKED. ENTER PUK CODE.

                                      Company has provided 24/7 helpcareno.1500.However inspite of repeted attempts to contact help line customer executive the call does not get to executinve or when get thr' remain unresponded. Such is the state of affairs in this state owned PSU that we feel guilty of having to deal with such callous organisation.
