On 18.8.12, at around 1015 hrs, I applied for changing over my prepaid SIM to Post-paid mobile connection. After completing all the formalities, a post paid SIM was issued on the same day and it was assured that it will be activated by the end of the day. However, even after vigorous followup, till now (even after 5 days) the new SIM has not been activated whereas the old prepaid SIM was deactivated from 1000 hrs yesterday (23.8.12). Despite trying to lodge a complaint through the BSNL call centre for 4-5 times, till now the complaint has not been registered. The call centre staff is asking to personally go to the BSNL offices to resolve the issue, which I explained to them that it is difficult for me to go during office hours. Despite my request to provide details of the phone no./ e-mail ID of the concerned official, no one helped me so far. Even on BSNL portal also, I could not find any provision to lodge a complaint for expediting the activation of my new SIM.

BSNL — Landline phone is dead & Broadband not working for over 12 days
My BSNL land line phone no.[protected] is dead & Broadband is not working for over 12 days. I have registered complaint on 08-FEB-2011 and complaint docket ID is [protected]. Every time the status of the complaint is "Technical work in progress".
