According to me my policy is in force ,since i made all premium payment.But on 21.10.2009 company has sent letter Ref No[protected] stating amount is refunded due to policy Lapsed.and send me cheque of Rs.10642.50 drawn on Citi Bank Mumbai,Vide Cheq No 054436 dated 21.10.2009 .which i have not encashed so far.
i am pressuming there is a need to take appropriate action against the company for mental harassment and agony with compensation.
Kindly look into matter and do the needful.

i am holding policy No[protected], and i want to know the status of my policy that why it is mentioned that it is lapsed. But as per my knowledge on jan, 2010 i hv made a premium of Rs351.00.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    In the month of February 2009 I placed a request for the issue of Citibank Credit Card. The executive has collected my signatures on the credit card application form but for my surprise he also managed to sign up for the issue of insurance policy on my name. I think he has forged my signature from then onwards I have been in contact with the Citibank officer Mr. Nitin Jain for the cancellation of the policy issued without my consent. Request you to take up this issue with high priority as I have informed the same to the concerned authorities immediately when the first month credit card bill was issued to me.

    Now I am unemployed and cannot pay the premiums for this policy please consider this on personal grounds and cancel this policy immediately.

    Policy number as per the credit card-2601655.

    Find attached my communication with these people since I have reached hyderabad. Earlier I have mailed them from my previous organisation official mail id: polavarapu.[protected]@eds.com. I left this job and relocated to hyderabad in the month of May 2009. Since then I have been trying to reach out to inform the same for policy cancellation which did not happen.

    Request you to take up this with high priority and cancel the policy ad reverse the amount billed to card endint with 1018. I am being asked to pay for the whole amount for which I am not liable for Citi bank. Please cancel this policy and reverse ou the amount billed to this card an the balance would be settled by me to Citi bank.

      Sir,
      I am investing in B51 Birla Sun life Equity Fund-Growth fund by SIP. and sir i was given partially redumption request to the company on 9th December 2009. but till today i have not got my payment in my bank account. after calling in customer care company representative said that payment has been made on other bank account by Direct Credit.and after receiving last statement i had found that company has given wrong account number. and they have credited in other bank account.

      I have talked so many times with company. but they are always giving me time. and till today there is not any solution of complaint.

        I am rajendra kumar shaw. i m taking a insurance policy from birla sun life insurance. my policy number is[protected].
        Now i was going for deposite my renewal premium in chandanngar branch but the branch people are doing missguide and missbehave with me , they said to me to come for deposite at morning ,and as usual i m going at said time. but again the people said to come at evening. after that when i call back to the branch, some one said me , you come at evening and don't call again in this branch...if you call then we use slang to you. after that i was going to the branch and collect the name of the person who tell me like this and the name is..PARMA PAUL...

          Hi!
          Myself is a Advisor in Birla Sun Life Insurance Co Ltd, Howrah Branch. Kolkata. I was a MDRT in the year[protected].But because of some of my personal reasons I was unable to work during[protected]. Now some days back I suddenly came to know that the TDS deducted from my income was not submitted to the central govt as after claiming my TDS I received a letter from the tax department that the total amount I was claiming was not diposited by the company. I contacted with Mr Balakrishnan, Branch Admonistrator but he beheaved very rudely and stated that this is not his job and he can't give any details where to write letter. This company is not at all a organised company.Please help in this regard...............................

          all the tds deduct by insurance company should send tds to bank a/c .it useless to spend money for it files, our tax law should be change, small tds for insurance should spend 1000 rs for claim it shame,

            Dear Sebi,
            My self Rakhi Agrawal. I have purchased one MF with folio number [protected] with Birla sunlife mutual fund.
            I have given the redemption request for above mentioned folio number on 21/11/09 to BSL thane branch. i requested them to send me a DD and do not credit the amount in my account as it was liened due to some dispute with the bank which is going on.

            Sine 23/11/09 till date i am calling to BSL customer care and everytime they have given a wrong information that the dd will be sent. On 01/12/09 they have credited the money into my account and now i am unable to withdraw that amount from the account.
            Neither the CAMS persns nor the BSL helping me in this regard.

            Request you to kindly help.

            As spoken we are following up with the bank and trying for the reversal of the amount from HDFC and on receipt of the credit, the check shall be issued.

              D/Sir/Ma'am,

              I had paid a premium of Rs. 32378 through on-line payment facility[protected] against my policy "[protected]". But I didn't received the premium receipt.

              Then I wrote a mail on[protected] to customer service of BSLI requesting them to send me the receipt.

              BSLI forwarded a soft copy of the receipt but I need a paper copy of the receipt on the BSLI letter head, so I wrote again a mail on[protected] for the paper copy of the premium deposit receipt, but so far there is no answer from the copmany.

              birla sunlife insurance co ltd/ life insurance policy — company stole my policy amount

              respected sir,
              i open my life policy in birla sunlife ins. on 21/02/2007(emi 237/- permonth)
              i deposit regularly my instalments till now.
              but d company told me on 21/06/2009 that my policy is terminated against non-payments.
              how can it possible.
              my cash receipt no- 2453566, 4521396, 8385900, 9226737, 13705167.
              through these receipt numbers, i deposit above 6000/-
              but d company's system shows only rs. 474/-
              so i want to complaint against d company...

              Birla Sun Life Insurance (BSLI) — Non Receipt and Correctness of Policy details

              BSIL has collected the insurance premium from me on the 19th Feb and has issued a policy documents with all the wrong information in it. Despite using their helpdesk support, second level escalation and 3rd level escalation, they have not resolved the issue. They have collected back the policy documents from me saying that they will re-work this all over again and have not provided any receipt of the same. I am on the 4th of April with no policy documents and no clue who is addressing this issue. All the emails sent to their inboxes have not been aknowledged at all, I am not sure how they manage to be in the business if they do such frauds with the consumer.

                I have a ULIP with birla sun life, sold by citibank, CIP # [protected]. the premium value is very high (2 lakhs/annum) and am keen to know where my investment is headed in this volatile time. repeated requests online is not responded satisfactorily; in turn, the mails are posing mild threat to reinstate the policy before even answering my queries. the toll free number is never reachable. the guys who got in touch with me promised to revert but they never did. this does not give me confidence to go ahead with my premium. all am asking for is details of where my money is being put and birla sun life is not bothered to respond.

                  I am holding Birla Sun Life Policy no.[protected] since March 2007. I had to pay 3 instalments of Rs.25,000/- yearly which i have completed and have receipts to that effect. On 23rd October 2009 i submitted the policy surender form along with all the original documents ( HAVE RETAINED RECEIPT OF THE SAME ) and was told that i would receive an amount which would be less than the market value as on that date as i was surrenderi ng the policy before the end of 3 years (market value was around Rs.82,000/- approx and i was to receive Rs.77,000/- approx ) and that the cheque would be sent within 10 working days. After about 15 days all the documents were couriered back to me along with a fresh surrender form and a letter asking me to surrender the original documents. Again on 27th Nov i receieve a letter stating that all the necessary changes to my address have been made. I was aghast as to what was ahppening and i called their toll free customer care on [protected] at 3.26 pm on 27th Nov and spoke to one Ms. NIkita. I told her my grievance and she told me that even if i surender the policy before 3 years the amount would be refunded back to me only after 3 years. I am surprised that a company like Birla Sun life is out to dupe people in this manner. I would like your help in this matter as i am doubtful about the company's integrity and i dont think that the company is ever going to refund my money.

                  On 27th March 2010 i submitted the policy surender form along with all the original documents ( HAVE RETAINED RECEIPT OF THE SAME ), So far am not getting my ammount and not receive any intimation for Birla Office.


                  I was hospitalized on 1/04/2010 for two weeks. am not followed the status of mine.

                  11/04/2010 - i checked my bank account, am not received my policy amount.

                  12/04/2010 (Morning) - i checked with customer care[protected] they said due to signature mismatch my request was rejected and also they said the intimation letter was sent to my communication address (but am not receive any letter from birla).

                  12/04/2010 (Post lunch) - again i check with customer care for my original document for re-apply, they said it was return(despatched) to Branch Office (Adyar Branch, Chennai) on 8th Apr 2010.

                  13/04/2010 (Morning) - I spoked with the branch office (Adyar, Chennai), they said didnt received any Doucment from Birla Head Office. and also they asked to get POD Number from Customer Care for further action.

                  13/04/2010 (Morning) - I again spoked with the customer care for POD number. that gentlemen said, the delivery details are not updated in status log, so please wait for 3 days i check with Back office and come back...

                  I am surprised that a company like Birla Sun life they dont have SYSTEMS and PROCEDURE, and it clearly shows that their INEFFICENCY, they only interested in GRABBING money from the people not serving the People

                    I am Pirtima Singh. I joined Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited on 15/10/2009. My Ingenium code is IO4310. I was told By Nirupendra Singh (Area Sales Manager,Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited, Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore) in the interview that i am joining as Unit Sales Manager and my salary would be 15000 per month. I completely relied on this verbal information and performed the job at my best. I didnt get any offer letter or training at that time. I was told that i will get offer letter after a month. So i worked as an unit sales manager till today. Today only i got my offer letter in which it is mentioned that my position is Associate Unit Sales Manager and salary mentioned is 10500 per month.

                    I am totally shocked. I enquired to Mr. Nirupendra about this but he started to abuse and misbehave with me. He also said that he will terminate me and wont give any salary also for the time i have worked. This is really very shocking to me. I joined this company because i thought that this company work culture would be good. But it was my illusion. Now, i request you to take proper action on this and ensure that for the time i have worked i will get the salary.

                      I paid the full amount for one year and told them so many times by phone and by emails to close ECS but they send a letter that one installment is due of Rs. 12499.95
                      the agent Rajiv singh Gaur is on vacation for his marriage and the others (Puja choradia , Surendra rajpurohit )are not friendly , in udaipur branch office.

                          I had received the policy no.[protected] dat 08.06.09 in favour of R.K. Agarwal HUF after going through the policy I had noted that in policy information form at the coloum policy owner, the date of birth is mentioned 01/01/1901 which is not correct. There cannot be date of birth of HUF, in this regard a letter dated 15.06.09 address to Client Services, Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Ashok Marg C-scheme Jaipur was also sent with the request of correction of the said date of birth. Its since long I have not heared anything instead of contacting client services team on toll free no. and the Insurance Advisor too. It is again requested to make necessary correction by deleting the date of birth mentioned as policy owner of R.K. Agarwal HUF as stated above under infomation to me at the earilest.

                            The executive from BSLI named Rajiv Saxena from Andheri office offered me Saral Jeevan Policy (Policy no.[protected] for Rs 37000 annual premium and assured me a total deduction of 9% on this annual premium. And during the free looking period when i received the policy papers i called him up and tried to make some clarifications about deductions mentioned in the papers but he was completely ignorant and unresponsive to all my calls and also meanwhile the free looking period had crossed.
                            Also the policy paper and the illustration was prepared in a very tricky format with all the deductions showing in terms of cover and not directly in Rs which added to my confusion since they were in few rupees but that had to be multiplied by huge cover number for the total deductions.

                            And when i had the statement of accounts with the premium paid and deductions applied it was shocking to me that there is a deduction of around 40% to the premium annually.

                            I want to surrender this policy since such heavy deductions are not possible for me and that too for 3 years. I have tried calling the exexcutive but he is gone under cover and this already proves what type of managing staff BSLI is having.

                            So kindly refund me with whatever is possible and surrender this policy OR suggest me some other policy with less deductions.

                              Please book my following complaint against the birlasunlife insurance,
                              policy number[protected]Anil Sharma):

                              1. Policy is canceled illegally by birlasunlife as per call centre
                              executive due to non paying renewal premium.

                              2. I had paid renewal premium by cash of Rs.6573/-, receipt number
                              14709227, dated 25/7/2009, at noida office before the due date.

                              3. I am continuing writing for correction & visited so many time at
                              their noida office but problem remain same.

                              4. Now asking to deposit again renewal premium along with interest of
                              Rs.120.05/- for reactivation, which is illegal.

                              You are requested to help me and asking them to issue fresh premium
                              certificate for 2009-10 immediately and pay for harassment.

                                I am a policy holder of BSLI..With reference to my policy no.[protected] , on 24-09-09 I had applied for a partial withdrawal for maximum amount permissible in my said policy.I had applied for the max.amount on the basis of portfolio details provided to me by the main office at Ahmedabad.

                                As per the partfolio details provided by them as on 24-09-09 , the Fund value was Rs.78112/10, Surrender chrgs.Rs 2500/- , Surrender Value Rs 75612/10 and Withdrawable amount Available Rs 50612/10. As I was in need of Rs 50000/- to fulfill my commitments elsewhere I had applied for max. amount which means I should get Rs 50612/10...To my surprise the co. had finalised a cheque of Rs 25700/- only which was later despatched to me..With lots of correspondence via e-mail they admitted that it was their system error which showed max.withdrawable amount as Rs 50612/10..while as per policy clause only Rs 25700/- was the max amount then...I argue that wheather its system error or something else ultimately the sufferer is me who had to wait for 15 days and that too for an amount which did not serve the very purpose.I could not fulfill my commitment to the others moreover I had passed through mental agony..My reputation is being challenged..Even as on date on inquiry at their call centre or at main office Ahmedabad,, they say still I can withdraw Rs 25000/- because system shows that...but actually its not..Having got annoyed and the need of funds I have today surrendered the said policy..But a lesson remains to be taught to BSLI for using such misleading system.... many of the customers might be getting mislead by the details ..Moreover not a single employee is having perfect product knowledge..They just cant answer the querry to entire satisfaction..As in my case nobody was aware of this system error except the headoffice...

                                  My self siddhartha kumar from bangalore i haveing a saveing account with SBI J P nagar brach My account no is :[protected].i m using this account from last 3 year .


                                  SIr i m only taken one police from birla sun life and given ecs cheqe of rs.505 but from 19/01/09 one more ecs of323 rs. detected from my account for the police number[protected] which i m nt talking . also i dont have any doument related to this police i talk to birla office they told me we stop but the ammount is debit from my account everymonth plz this my humble request stop this rs.323 esc and if possible plz get my money back because i m issueing any ecs for this police even i donr have any doument for this police plz get me back as soon as possible
                                  i talk to customer care also .what ever doument you need to stop this and money back plz mail or call me i will provide you .
                                  other wise i write to RBI for this invalid ECS.

                                  if possible plz try to understand the problem

                                    Hi,

                                    My policy bearing No.[protected], of which they provide me has been approved and start charging me Rs.2000 on my credit card account. I was supposed to be start charging me from the month of November, 2009, accordingly to the person (liar) who visited at my home.

                                    Now, when I ask them to cancel my policy they says that I need to received the policy document, however I have not yet received the kit so far, and its been more than one month passes by.

                                    I am helpless please help me.

                                      This is for your information, records and further necessary action at the earliest with reference to the above mentioned policy.

                                      After continuous follow ups with Mr.Bhanu, (Mob:[protected]) your executive under Mr.Sai Babu .B (Agency Manager),Somajiguda , Hyderabad, finally I could collect my policy bond by September 2nd week. Even after the realization of my cheque, it took more than a month before I could receive the policy bond. But well, with this inordinate delay in services your bunch of surprises was not over.

                                      Next was a major mistake in the policy. My date of Birth is wrongly mentioned as 17/11/1961 instead of 1951.My driving license copy was submitted as age proof which bears DOB:17/11/1951. The same was pointed out to Mr.Rajshkhar (Somajiguda) and I have even given a copy of my passport for correction and updation of DOB. Again it is more than a month with futile efforts made from my end calling the concerned people. It is a matter of concern that a company of your profile has responded in this manner or rather not responded to your customer with whom you look forward to an enduring relationship!!!

                                      Meanwhile I was shocked and confused to see the copy of my driving license which is a part of the policy bond. My DOB reads 17/11/1961 in the same whereas the original bears 17/11/1951.This is a very serious issue which needs to be addressed immediately and investigated further.

                                      The customer care executives available at your toll free no : [protected] seems totally clueless as your server is down almost always. Through your website I have lodged a complaint for which I got a reply mail asking for further details. I wish to thank you for the same and hope these details are enough for you to take necessary corrective measures.

                                      I hope there will definitely be immediate action from your end which will help in having the trust and faith of customers like me in future also.

                                        My Emp id- 6736.
                                        joining date- 16/06/2006
                                        Resigning date- 01/06/2007

                                        submitted my PF Form with Birlasunlife insurance co ltd,rourkela orissa, and the same has been submitted in Regional Office but till date my PF settlement has not done yet.Nither any communicated me in this regard.
