I took ULIP policy[protected] from Birla Sunlife Insurance 4 years back through Citi bank. I paid 36000 annually for 3 years which was my locking period.

Redemption Issues

I have given a redemption request for my insurance on April 3, 2011. I have not received the amount till date. When I email or contact their representative they come up with excuses that the quality of the scan copy sent from their branch to the head office was poor and it will take another 10 days. This is not my fault and when I ask them to email me this reason for the delay they refuse.

This is with regards to my policy Saral Jeevan Life Cvg. The annual premium is 12,206.00 and i have been paying this for 3 years. So I have paid a total amount of 36618.00 however the fund value is only 33215.00. So this policy is a total waste.
