I had applied for a policy with the company and issued a cheque of Rs.18, 520. The agent sold me Saral Jeevan Policy of 20 year terms. But I got negative feedback of this plan from other insurance company, saying that I will not get full amount whatever I invest after so many years, hence I cancelled the policy within 15 days. I raised the complaint with them regarding the agent. After that I followed up with them but received no response.

They initially told me that I will get full amount returned back to me if I cancelled it in 15 days, but this is not true. I got Rs.1500 less saying that fund valu was decreased for that period.

Also I have not cancelled the policy because of any problem from my side, but due to the fiasco and goo[censored]ps from Birla Sun Life and their agent; Angel broking firm, for all these. So there is no question of any charges at all and if it then, they should charge to the agent not to the customer.

What can I do to get my whole money back against them?

Saral Jeevan Plan
I had applied for a policy with the company and premium is Rs.20346 . The agent sold me Saral Jeevan Policy of 20 year terms. But I got negative feedback of this plan from other insurance company, saying that I will not get full amount whatever I invest after so many years.Now it pass around 1 year but received no such SMS, Mail regarding my NAV. so i should able to know what is current status.

What can I do to get my whole money back against them?

I took birla sun life insurence plan(Saral Jeevan) for 20 years with qurterly premium is Rs.12, 500/-. I want to know the total sum assured after 5 years.Please give details. That would be appreciated.

    I have invested in Birla sun life mutual fund as a SIP in tha name of Janhvi Mehta against folio no. [protected] in the secheme of Birla sun life equity fund.i have provided him 6 cheques.But all the cheques has lost in courier.the company has said all the charges of 6 cheqes will compainsait you.but now one month has ago no one is listen me.

        Hi All,

        I bought a policy with Birla sunlife last December (Dec 2007). I have to admit that I am a layman when it comes to ULIPs. I was completely brainwashed by one of Birla sunlife's agent that Saral jeevan offers excellent returns (30%). I bought the policy on December 12th. Policy number is[protected]. Premium amount was Rs 50145 (Fifty thousand one hundred and forty five). I received the policy document promptly and was schocked to see that there were monthly charges of Rs 1551.39 on the policy. A net amount of 18616.68 Rs would be deducted towards charges in a year, which is nearly 40% of the premium that I have paid. When the agent came to my house to get my signature and cheque, he gave me a brochure which HAD ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION OF CHARGES. I felt cheated. I called him up and told him to cancel the policy. He told me that there are indeed charges in the policy. However, they are applicable only after the policy starts yielding returns..meaning the charges will be deducted from the profit and not from the premium amount. The premium amount of Rs 50145 will remain intact. After three months, I placed a call with Birla sunlife and I was startled to know that they have indeed deducted monthly charges on the policy. I got furious and asked them to cancel them the policy. They cooly replied that the surrender value of the policy is in negative.. meaning that I have to pay more money to cancel the policy. Ridiculous!!

        I contacted my agent and he said that he will do the necessary to cancel the policy and that I will get my Rs 50145 after 3 years. I contacted the helpline and they said that there is no way I can get the money. They said that I have signed the policy and had a 15 days grace period to get out the policy. When the agent came to my house to get the form filled up he gave me a template to fill up and took just my signatures on the application form. I now know why he gave me a template to fill up and not the actual application form. The application form has all the charges listed in it. He wanted to deliberately hide the information about the charges on the policy.

        This 50145 Rs is my hard earned money. I have worked round the clock to earn this money. I decided to fight against this misselling. I launched a complaint with Birla sunlife. They said that they will escalate it to the highest level possible. Finally I got a letter stating that my claim is not valid as I have signed the application form.

        I have gone through a lot of mental agony over the past 10 months. As you can recall, I had invested about 50145 Rs in December 2007. Currently the value of the fund ( as of today - 31st October) is Rs 10984. Can you believe this? I am not going to renew this policy. No person on earth would renew this policy.

        Birla Saral Jeevan is a clear case o[censored]LIP misselling. But I am a common man and can do little against a big corporate house like Birlas. I will however advice you all not to buy this policy.

        Better go in for LIC policies.. They are far better in terms of coverage and benefits. I would like to end by saying that the I feel cheated, deeply hurt and never expected this from a corporate house of Birla's calibre.

        I would like to know the IRDA's stand on ULIP's misselling. Such things can happen only in a country like India.

        ULIP Of Future Plus — Short payment of surrender va

        I surrenderd 1489.030 units o[censored]LIP No.[protected] of Future Plus but received surrender value of 1424.003 units only.Plz rectify.

        Birla Sun Life Insuranc Eco. Ltd — Pick up not done - 942 Token No.

        Had booked a call on[protected], for pick-up on 6th june for some urgent delivery to Pune. Call was booked by Ms.Poonam and token no. given was 942. The pick-up person did not turn up, neither anybody gave call to inform the same. Otherwise we would have arranged for the pick up thorugh some other Reputed Known company...

        After calling the pick -up cell for complaint, Ms.Dipti informed that cannot provide any answer before 4 pm about the reason for non-pick up, also cannot arrange for the pick-up before 12:00 pm ?????
        Surprised to see, such unprofessional attitude of BLUE DART oeprations...

        i am very sure now that birlas are the cheaters. they earn their profits by taking the money from the common man. but one thing sure it is the hard money of the public & i curse them for this they surely come down to a big zero ...
        i know the case of food n fresh also which is birlas outlet. which alwys use to charge more money for the prdts but now it is getting closed in almost every area.

An agent came to me and tried to sell this policy ... he never mentioned anything abt the charges, and was keen on signing the policy on the same day, however the charges were mentioned in the brochure . so, i dicided to take some time, learn abt the policy and then take it . your comment really helped me . thanks for positng it . i consulted a friend of mine and he too suggested not to take this, now my money is saved . i know how it feels when u lose ur hard earned money, i hope u get back ur money
        a guy from citibank explained my this and he also never talked abt charges and said there is "CAPITAL GAURANTEE" that is what ever i have invested is guaranteed to be returned.         so even though fund is not doing good they will be charging for management which is same in mutual funds too... i think thats what is happened in your case.
        i have asked that citibank guy to send a mail from birla sun life mail id about capital guarantee lets see if he comes back.
        but anyways i have already decide not to buy this.

        Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd / Birla Dream Plan — Free look policy cheque not received

        Dear Sir,
        I opted for a Birla Dream Plan (Policy No.[protected]. To my surprise I found that my fund allocations are wrongly done. My yearly premium is Rs. 20007.57. As a result of this I opted for free look which was accepted by them on 24.02.2009, but till date I had not received the cheque. I had talked with the Branch Manager atleast 15 times and with the customer care for atleast 10 to 12 times.Their response is like they are here to make only new policies and are least bothered about the pending cases. I am in total dismay about what to do.
        I shall be highly obliged if kindly do the needful. A little bit of co-operation from your part will be highly appreciated.

        Birla Sun Life Saral Plan — not received statement of receipt

        I have shifted my house that i inform to MR.Hardik thakker([protected]) who has been transfeerd in baroda office but at present i have not received residential proof which is your required.i have possention letter. i am residingin new house

Birla sunlife is allocating 100% of money to units initially, they are selling units at every month in current market price stating premium for insurance, taking 1212rs every month. It incurs me more loss on selling units at lower market prices. I lost almost 75% of money invested in 1 year. I spoke to Birla sunlife customer care to cancel the policy, They said that i have signed in the agreement, so its not possible to sell before 3 years.

        I had parched a life insurance police from birla sun life insurance in June 2008.

        I had submitted a check of amount Rs. 13000/-(face amount of policy )
        My annual premium charge is Rs.12284/- So company had to refund my Balance Rs.716/-amount in the same month but Even after continuous foul-up for almost one year with his several representative at his toll free numbers[protected] and[protected] and almost 66 mail communication at his company mail id [protected]@birlasunlife.com. I have still not get the same till date.

        When ever I had call them on tool free they says “ u’r refund will be at u’r doorstop by next 5 working days” but that day have still not come.

        Even today I have talk to nikita for the same and again she assured for noxt 5 working days.

        If a company is not in position to resolve a complaint of as low as Rs. 716/-( extra amount paid to company for insurance) how can I believe that he can pay my assured money at the time of maturity of policy.

        I have spent my lots of time to do the foul-up with this company and get a little bit of tension almost every month since july 08.

        Please instruct the company to pay my outstanding money with interest of one year and whatever tension I have taken for this period.

        Dear Sir,
        This type of mis-selling used to go in the market. There is a ward known as Insurance Ombudsman. Basically we don't go through the policy Documents, if we do that after getting every policy, then this problem used to be solved. Even if now, you can lodge a complain against the company as well as against the Agent, this "Insurance Ombudsman" is basically consumer forum type of thing where your problem will be solved by the IRDA. And from now onwards before doing any Insurance Policy please go through the Proposal Forms and donot allow any agent to fill it up.
        And do Insurance if you need it.

        Saral Jeevan is one of the best ULIP plan for long term investors. Its having 10 funds option.. we can switch depend upon the market at free of cost.. obviously charges will be high for 1st 3 yrs.. after than it ll be low as all common ulip products.. its not a mutual fund to yield with in a year.. Its a long term investment
        such things happens TO STUPIDS LIKE YOU ONLY.ITS NOTHING TO DO WITH BIRLA. ITS YOUR GREED AND STUPIDITY WHICH IS THE REAL REASON YOU BOUGHT THIS POLICY FOR AND NOW YOU WANT TO BLAME OTHERS.BEST THING FOR YOU IS TO CATCH HOLD OF THAT BROKER OR AGENT.AND LEARN THER ARE NO SHORTCUTS...
        I think this guy is paid by the rival companies to write such kind of blogs and articles.

        I am having Birla saral jeevan policy and very happy with this. This has very less charges when i compared with other exixting policies in market and it is simple. Not so many rules, conditions for claims etc.

        I am getting a very good return from my policy Saral jeevan which is 2 and half year old. I took in quarterly mode 15000/- .

        I took the same plan. The premium amount is 30, 000/-.
        Monthly charges are 1, 000/- (administrative charges plus service charges).
        It's been 1 and half years, till now I have paid 47, 600/-. now the current fund value is 33, 000/-. ( the time period is between apr 2008 to oct 2009)
        Indeed I read the brochure before signing.

        the brochure says "Policy administration charges for first 3 years is monthly 25/- per 10, 000/- of sum asssured. thereafter 2.5/-"
        I misunderstood the statement, The agent told me for 30, 000/- it'll be only 75/-,
        I agree this is my foolishness, the total sum assured is 3, 30, 000/- so it's coming around 825/ and plus all other extra nonsense it's coming 1000/- per month. monthly investment is 2500/- but the charges are 1000/-
        They are not charging for the money you put guys, they are charging for the sum assured they promised.

        for first three years they are getting around 12, 000/- per annum.
        It's most infuriating robbery. these don't deserve this much charges. they're allocating funds like any other mutual fund, they haven't put the best to manage our money. I can use all curse words I've ever known to scold them. that wont solve the problem. It's obviously a cheat.

        As of today my fund value is 33, 000/- so I've lost 14, 000/- till now. it's been one and half year and if I withdraw now I'll definitely lose. So I decided to wait, I've distributed my investments to various plans ( maximiser, multiplier etc., ). and I am closely watching the fund value.

        Whatever you say, they are looting money from us for the first 3 years. I will be sticking around till I get back the money close to my investment.

        I'll never allow them to get profit from my money after that. I'll pull out and go for other investment.
        don't think after 3 years we'll be getting lot of profit, there are other mutual funds which are charging the same like what these are charging after 3 years. Trust is important to run any business.

        mutual fund is making profit from our money and the guys who invests on behalf o[censored]s will take some of the profit. but these guys are too greedy.

        So what I'm doing now is I'm telling everyone about this and stopping them to invest on birla.

        we can't encourage the cheating.

        I invested on Metlife also at the same period and I paid 38, 000/- and the current fund value is 41, 000/- in one and half years. Considering the recession period this is very good.
        The market performed same, and they are buying almost the same shares and making almost same profit( I have gone through the distribution chart), but birla guys are greedy pocketing the profit plus our money to their pockets.

        In future I'll never go near to any of the birla products.
        I agree with this complaint. The investment sales guy completely fooled me :( . I told him I wanted to have an investment which will yield a return comparable/better than FD but would give have liquidity so that I can withdraw money after 2 to 3 years as I need it for higher studies :( . But now due to the term life insurance costs (which will not be paid back even at the end of the 20 year term period), the current fund value is much less than what I have paid so far.
        This is a very high cost of life insurance for the money assured in case of death. I didn't need life insurance in the first place and I already had a LIC insurace :( . Should have just gone with LIC..

        First of all before you buy a policy you should know its for long term or short term, if at all if you have taken this policy for long term dont CRY, it will yeild you better returns than mutual fund thats what the ULIP history says...

        People like you who belive in 30% returns, are there in our country still ...
        Thanks mate, the agents & the call centre executive all tell only lies, I was planning to buy the policy just asked him the website to reconfirm what he claimed & it gave me the shock of my life. Really if you calculate deeply you are bound to loose coz deduction is from ur ULIP units drop in market in any month will leave u a pauper, this is the worst ULIP.

        After reading all the above comments no one will invest in ulip that is for sure but it is not like that ulip's are such bad investment option i[censored] invest regularly for 10 years and withdraw after same period of time in that scenerio you can easily earn a return of 18 % to 20 % with vairous fund options.

        In ulip there are charges for intial three years and after three years you only have to pay nominal charges around 3.7 % pa for insurance coverage and fund management then again even if you take out 3.7 % charges still you are earning 15 % approx returns over a term of 10 years if you compare these returns with fixed deposits post office where returns are still in the range of 7.5% to 8 % that to taxable so in actual you are getting a return of 5% which is nothing and you are not taking inflation in account which is around 10 % if we take inflation in account your investments with 5 % returns (after tax) are in negative by 5 % so if we think our money is save in fd's and saving bank account we are making fool of ourself's whereas in ulip there might be possibilty of high returns and insurance companies are providing capital gauratee in ulips if you invest for 10 or above .

        3 DREAM PLAN ISSUE DATE 21 DEC 2008 PREMIUM 50000 FUND VALUE ON 15 DEC 2009 IS 62430
        ALL THE FUND VALUES ARE AFTER DEDUCTION OF ALL THE CHARGES .
        So according to me ulip are not such bad investment options all you guys need a good investment manager or wealth management company like jumpstart consultants pvt ltd

        I am strugling with the problem last 3 months but getting no information or right answer from jumpstart.

        There is need to take care to Birla Sunlife, they are makig bad name in market due to the jumpstart agency.
        It is not the mistake of Birla SunLife as a company..you received the policy papers with all the charges clearly mentioned..and you could cancelled in the free look..u should blame your financial advisor and yourself..Also ULIPs should always be taken for long term..

        I have taken a ulip policy for 65K for my spouse. These guys have changed it to 95K and changed the amount I paid from 65K to 58K and were asking of rest of the amount. They changed my policy advisor name and put some other guys name so my policy advisor could not help. I have not received the copy of the policy but they contest i did. i was finally was able to convince them to cancel the policy after 3 months. The 15 days grace period applies after you receive the policy. And one final thing about the charges. I will consider only policy administration charges (excluding other charges) is 25 per term. No of terms for your policy ~ (sum assured/10K). In my case it is (6.5Lacs/10K = 65). So my policy administration charges alone comes to 65*25 = 1600+ per month. So I'm paying birla sunlife almost 1600*12 = 18K as policy administration charges alone. So it your money and your call but don't forget to read the fine print before you decide.

        And finally this is not a official site where you can post complaints and they get resolved. Use sites such as mouth shut to let other users know or go to a consumer forum.

        Aun la justicia no se ha expedido, no solo que ha sido lenta sino que me abandono.todas las intervenciones médicas(siete cirujias+tratamientos costosisimos) fueron costeadas por familliares, y los tratamientos actuales me los costeo yo.Hoy ya no me puedo hacer los tratamientos como es debido.
        Mi abogado me dice que las leyes son asi, que debo esperar, puesto que la otra parte hace apelaciones y que es ley lo ampara.Pero son mas de 10 años de mi vida aruinada.

        I Had purchased a Birla Sun Life Capital Guarantee Policy through Citibank for Rs. 50035 and now find that after 1 year my NAV is 40K . I tried to cancel the policy but the customer care guy says that I will receive only 35% of my money back!!! I was shocked to hear such a thing especially is this day and age a company can cheat consumers even with well drafted laws by IRDA.

        Any way I will never invest with Birla Sun Life again as they are nothing but cheats and extortionists.

        I hope my post will be a warning to others before they make an investement.

        Birla sunlife saral jeevan is one of the worst ULIP policy... I have checked with one of my friend who is working in financial institution.. he warned me to inform anyone who is going for this policy.. which is nothing but fake.. sales people advice this policy because it gives them the maximum profit of around 30%... these BIRLA , have looted my hard earned money.. I will never ever go for any of BIRLA venture.. I lost trust in them.

        Friends this is my sincere advice no to go for any of the BIRLA policies...
        I am also cheeted by the birla sun life agent... never ever buy.. any ULIPS from these ...

          I invested in Birla Sun Life 96' Tax Relief Mutual Fund in Aug'08 under SIP of Rs. 2000/- p.m. In the month of Oct'08, they deducted Rs.2000/- as per my regular SIP amount but along with that, they also deducted another Rs.2000/- for another SIP thru ECS!!! On enquiring about the same, I am told that your have applied for another SIP and when I asked for documents in support to what they say, they are fumbling now. No response at all! My Bank (AXIS Bank) has denied to help in this case since according to them, they have no control over ECS! I am now very much anger & confused as to where should I go?

            I had applied for a policy with the company and issued a cheque of Rs.18, 720 (Cheque No. 484426) which was encashed on 30/06/2008. The agent sold me Saral Jeevan Policy of 15 year terms but premium calculated on 20 years term as is the special discount to me. The POLICY NUMBER for the same is[protected]. Their agent promised me of issuing the document within 15 days. But so far I have not received the documents. So I raised the complaint with them and case id number is[protected]. After that I followed up with them number of times but received no response. Finally I put a request for cancellation of the policy on 12th September 2008, with signed letter (as I heard the misdeeds which came true; see below).

            When I went for this policy, I enrolled one of my friend also for the same policy with the same benefit as mentioned above. He also faced the same problem; policy document not received. After many follow ups he receievd the documents, but to the utter surprise of every one o[censored]s, someone has rubbed the tick against 15 years term checkbox and themselve ticked 20 years term checkbox. This is purely a case of cheating. This turned my fear in to reality.

            Just few days back I received a call from them for the delivery of documents, though I already put the request for cancellation. So I told him not to deliver the same.

            Next day when I spoke to Ms. Deewangi, Sr. Manager on HELPLINE number ([protected] and [protected]), she informed me that if I cancel the policy now I will not be getting any money as policy is already issued as per their system's record. This is contrary to the fact;

            One I have not received the policy Documents yet.
            Second, even if policy is received by the client, there is 15 days grace period for the customer to cancel the policy and in that case only administration charges are deducted, as per IRDA guidelines.

            Neither of above happened till now, so where is the question of zero refund.

            Also I am not cancelling the policy because of any problem from my side, but due to the fiasco and goo[censored]ps from Birla Sun Life (and also cheating with my friend) and they are blaming their agent; Angel broking firm, for all these. So there is no question of any charges at all and if it then, they should charge to the agent not to the customer. They are the main culprit and did the cheating.

            Please help me in this matter.

              In May’2007, I had evinced an interest in Birla Sunlife’s Children’s Dream plan and accordingly tried to contact Birla Sunlife branches in Faridabad and Janakpuri, Delhi. Soon I had received a call from Mr. Harindar Rai who introduced himself as Agency Manager in Birla Sunlife Insurance( Scanned copy of his visiting card enclosed) and promised to arrange a rebate of 30% on the first year premium. As the rebate was attractive, I readily agreed and applied for the Children’s Dream plan. The nature of payment can be verified from the first premium paid alongside the application – Rs. 3070/- (which is 70% of 2 x 2192 = 4384) vide IOB cheque No.807342 and Rs.1314/- as cash ( which is exactly 30% of 2 x 2192 = 4384 i.e. the rebate promised) deposited by the aforesaid Mr. Harinder Rai himself. I was told that the next rebate on premiums would be deposited directly to my HDFC a/c. Later I had received Birla Sunlife’s policy no.[protected] with client ID [protected]. Since then I had paid all the premiums due but no rebate had been passed on to me as yet as per the promise and this Mr. Harinder Rai the Agency Manager of Birla Sunlife had become incommunicado.

              I had made several written and electronic complaints to Birla Sunlife Insurance requesting to cancel the policy made by wrong enticement and refund the premiums or at least the the NAV of the units outstanding to my credit and not to further process my policy payments. But Birla Sunlife is yet to address these grievances of mine. Please look into the matter and ensure that the aforesaid policy is cancelled and get the premiums alongwith interest or I should be passed on the rebate as promised from the commission of the concerned insurance agent or that Harinder Rai.

              Birla Sunlife Insurance — Not received the Certificate Even after One year

              I have taken Birla sunlife Indurnce during July, 2007 and paid primium Amount of Rs 20, 000.00 in Bangalore Branch. I have not got the Certificate yet & Co is asking for Next Premium Payment. Now they are seeking certificate/ afidavate from Notery, saying that I have Lost the Certificate.



              This is horrible with private Insurance Co. One Can expect our situation during Repayment of Insurance amount.

              I have Original slips of premium Payment.
              Please let us know, whether i can get back this money.
              Please also let us know the formaliteis of registering complaints

              I m also having Birla Sunlife Children's dream plan which I had started in March 07 and the Company's agent/ advisor Mr. VIKAS SETHI of Jabalpur had not given the commission. I invested Rs. 25, 000 annually accordingly commission of at least 30% or someone else told that it is 40% those days (It was mentioned in ToI in May 2007 that the commission is around 40% if someone help me then I will collect the ToI cutting also) of Rs. 7500 or Rs. 10, 000 is to be recd from the agent/Advisor but Mr. VIKAS SETHI of Jabalpur had given only Rs. 3000/ after too many persuals which was not right.

              Later on we come to know that in April/ May onwards the agent/Advisor Mr. Sethi has changed the company and we were bound to pay next premiums, which was really heavy. These type of behaviour of Agents and Officers/ Advisors should be taken seriously by the companies head offices so that company's image will not be damaged. We are in the impression that "We were cheated by this policy so we are not recommending others for such policy)
              First of all one does not have the right to ask rebate in insurance policies. If you ask, you are equally guilty. As for the agents and managers offering rebate in commissions, they are trying to exploit the greed in you. Insurance policy is a legal contract and asking rebate in commission is like bribing. I hope everyone is clear of what they are getting into. The message is clear: DONT ASK OR GIVE REBATES IN COMMISSION. Another way of looking at this issue is that the commission is the only income source for the agent. We should not try to snatch it from them.

              Before ur taking policy from any company first thing ask the advisors how many years they r in this field. secondly u have to take policy those who r professionally qualified, he know all the details, whether he calculated the need o[censored]( Need analysis). Before selling the products the first As a insurance advisor professionally doing the businees they know how to sell the products He will give perfect service, Basically all the clients expecting rebates, those who getting rebates no service from the advisors.Profesional advisors wont give rebate. In ur case ur policy document will reach ur residence, i[censored]r in out of station at that time some person will get the document, otherwise the document goes to branch or head office., i[censored] need the policy document u have to give Rs.100 stamp paper regarding the missing of documents, request to issue the policy document. Roughly 10 days u will get the documents. Ur policy in force. u have to pay the renewal premium.No bother.No refund after 5 years u can surrender.

              I have asked to cancell my policy two months ago but still no action have been taken and when ever I am calling to the customer care they are just saying that it is under process.I don't get any kind of response from Birla have I done any mistake by taking the policy from Birla can you people tell me.Birla's agent had given me miscommitment know when I am asking to cancell the policy you peoplr r not entertaining.Is this the way to treat with the customer.I want an immediate action to be taken from Birla.               The reasons regarding the escalation of the policy are as below : -

              1. I tried to update my police contact details several time with all the required document using every possible means like personally went to the local branch along with the necessary documents more than 3 times(reason for rejection/non-updation manager on leave, signature mismatch though original policy is there along with me at the time of document submission) and via sending mail along with all the necessary documents as mentioned by Birla Sun Life. (Please find the supported append mail reference in support of the same)
              2. Never any policy adviser consulted me or give me time when I tried to consult with them personally or via mail.(Please find the supported append mail reference in support of the same)

              Now I need to have few information regarding partial withdrawal as I have already completed 3 years of policy terms but am not getting any proper information from the branch office.Here are my concerns below :-

               If I withdraw partially (One Lakh Rupees only) from my policy (which is already in huge loss due to lack of co-operation from Birla Sunlife and misleading representative’s of the mentioned company) am I eligible for Sum Assured for Death Benefit?
               Am I able to continue the policy without paying any more premium from now on-wards after partial withdrawal(One Lakh Rupees only) ?In that case how the policy will perform for me?
               If the answer is NO i.e. not able to continue the policy without paying anymore premium, in that case what will be the minimum amount I need to pay to continue the policy after partial withdrawal(One Lakh Rupees only)?

              Even now am not getting any proper answers/responses from the said company regarding my above queries (neither from customer care nor from local branch).
              I have already applied for partial withdrawal and once again for mail ID, address updation (PRP No.FOR/7/11-12/4696 and FOR/2/11-12/5059 respectively). Hoping at least this time it will be done without any further excuses.

              I don’t want to avail any new policy from Birla Sunlife as am already loosing huge amount (Total Premium Paid till date 206885.42 – Fund Value 1, 49, 251.21 = 57634.21 loss only in capital investment) due to misleading information and pathetic support/co-ordination from Birla Sun Life Insurance Company.It’s the worst experience I do have in any insurance/investment policy till date.

              In case of any further information please let me know.Hoping for a positive reply with proper answers of the mentioned queries.

                Dear,
                I applied for a PAN card at Bajaj Capital in chennai, when i received the card it was found that my grandfather's name mentioned instead oy my fathers name, i reapplied through a CS form in vellore, after 3 months people returned back all the forms saying that they were not able to rectify.

                I have couriered all the papers with the PAN card to Income tax PAN services unit, mumbai.

                Please help me to solve this issue. How do i proceed further

                  Hello sir,

                  This is to bring in your notice that my name is DeviPrasad Pandey. I have taken birla sunlife insurance policy.
                  My policy number is:[protected]
                  Premium amount:6250

                  I became shocked when I got a overdue letter from Birla sunlife and it was also mentioned in the letter that my policy is going to be elapsed. Really horrible.
                  Current due date was 6th april 2008. I have taken it in quarterly mode.
                  Now I going to tell u everything what has happened from Bilra side and how irresponsible these people are.
                  My last due date was 6th Jan 2008. Before January I was paying premium by ICICI EMI card (EMI Smart card) . In December end I requested ICICI to lock my card as I am not going to use it any more. They told me that they will do. So to avoid any elapse in premium I paid Birla sunlife premium in cash because I was in impression if my card has been closed then premium will not be paid by card to Birla Sun life.
                  Unfortunately the card was not locked so the premium again paid to Birla Sun life by card.
                  I mean Birla people got two times premium for January month (12500 rs).
                  I got two sms from birla that premium has been received twice. I have the receipt and card statement both .
                  I called in Birla customer care and told customer care guy to return my extra money as it has been gone twice . He told that it will be returned in 7 working days.
                  He gave me this reference no also:[protected]
                  I followed Birla people and as you know in customer care every time you get new character and no body takes the responsibility. I was waiting for money but I could not get it for 2 months.
                  So again I called Birla people and told that if you are not ready to return my money Please adjust it for my next premium (6th April)
                  I gave them my number([protected]) also so they can call me as every time their server is down.
                  Again Birla customer care told me it will be done sir. But unfortunately as they people are not responsible so nobody did anything. And I was shocked with that overdue premium notice letter.
                  Every time Birla customer care says SERVER is DOWN Server is down. Is this my fault that their server is down or they people are this much irresponsible?
                  See, I am a middle class person working hard to earn and 6250 is not small amount for me so I am not going to leave them . And also I have paid premium for more than a year and they people are saying that policy will be elapsed.
                  I will bring this matter in consumer forum because I am not wrong. I have all the receipts and statement.
                  So please requesting you, to do something for me o.w these people will take all my money and will return me nothing. I have earned it hard and have saved for my future but see how these people are saying that policy will be elapsed

                  This is RamNaresh Patel, my uncle(Mr P.K sharma ) has taken unit link policy and she has give roung information about the product . and my money become zero.

                  This is all Ok i can understand in this kind of policy its depend on the market conditions but the way she has given reply that is to bad .
                  she told that (we have to make clint fool at end ) and these words are realy hurt me a lot .
                  I have taken Insurance just because of company name or a brand name .

                    This is to bring to your kind notice that I have a policy with your firm, policy no[protected]. the same was opened on 13/01/2008 but due to misrepresentation of facts by the executive I decided to withdraw the same by availing the 15 day free look period. the free look cancelation was submited and received in your office on 23/01/2008. Since then there was no communication from your end and idid not get back my refund.
                    On enquiry it was found that my request of free look cancelation had been rejected and a letter in this effect had been sent on wrong address on 31/01/2008.
                    Sir, it is a shock to know that a company of your stature is not handeling its operations in a professional way, i regret to say that LIC will provide a better and personised service as compared to you.
                    please look into the matter and get it resolved at the earliest else i will be forced to escalate the matter to your senior management and file a suite against you and the executive who had visited me. Please dont take it lightly.
