Dear Sir,
I apply Term Insurance policy from Birla Sunlife Insurance co. for sum assured 15,00,000 and for that i give them Cheque worth of Rs. 22,068/- and they debit the same amount from my saving account on 21/11/2010.
But on 27th of Dec i got mail from the company and they mentioned in their mail that during issuance of the policy they suggest me some medical test which i had already completed but in one test report test name HBA1c they mentioned some problam notice as "Accept Life at 4.78/1,000 and ESA at 1.5x in V/O Elevated Liver Enzymes" and for this problem they demanded Rs. 5,435.40 paise extra premium per year.
I was shocking to hear about this problem and rush to Dr. Path Lab at NOIDA centre and once again i did my HBA1c test on dt. 28th Dec. at my own cost and when i want to know about the test from the laboratory people they said this test meant for any type of Sugar nor meant for Liver and other etc. Next day i went to Birla Sunlife NOIDA Sector-18 brance to submit my medical report and they give me my customer interaction id as[protected] for all future correspondence.
The proposer name who offered me this policy Mr. Rohit Sapra and his Officer Mr. Sunil Prashar whose contact detail as under:-
1. Mr. Rohit Sapra cell No. [protected] and his eamil rohit.[protected]@birlasunlife.com and Mr. Sunil cell no. [protected].
I am trying to know about my policy from both of these official but axcept fake assurances they give me nothing and they are also violating my phone calls.
Therefore i had left no option to contact you.
Therefore i am requesting you to kindly take immediate and strict action towards this irresponsible behaviour and before issuing the policy how they can debited amount from my saving account.

birla insurance — misuse of my papers

On 10 December 2008, i received a courier from you company'Birla Sun Life Insurance' in which there was a policy(term plan 25) numbered as[protected] in my

name & date of issue from birla sun life's chandigarh office dated is 5/12/08 insurance adviser code- AC2632(Dinesh Kumar) application number is[protected].

I have never done such or requested for any type of policy from your company.one of your agency manager 'Ajeet Singh' from panipat branch vsited my residence

last year & convinced me to join him in your company's business as a commission agent & collected my identification proof(the copie's of passport & ration card

etc) & Rs. 700 hundred cash for the exammination i was suppose to give in karnal but just after two hour's i called him back that i am not intersted in doing this

bussiness due to lack of time & requested him to return my all paper's & money.He told me that he will do so whenever he makes a next visit in my area.Having faith on

him i never thought of putting any pressures on him.

Now when i have gone through these papers received through 'blue dart courier' i see those papers & my passport size picture which were previously given by me to' Mr.

Ajeet Singh' .Also someone from your company has fraudently made my signatures.Also i would like to bring this to your notice that i have never ever came in touch with the

adviser named 'dinesh kumar'.

Now i want you to strictly enquire this matter properly from the above mentioned people as well as return my all the papers with money with in 15 days.if you don't do so

than i will report the whole matter about your company to media as well as take a legal action against you.

birla insurance — Medical report

I have taken insurance from the Birla Insurance company ( sun life ), with policy I have received my medical report.

Medical report is not readable since the original is reduced scanned and sent me a photo copy.

I wrote to them for this but they have again send me the same copy.

Can I get it again ?

2. one report they have put standard of ADA ( American diabetes association ) i am surprised, Why not Indian diabetes Association ? since My insurance is taken here, , and paying in rupee not in dollar and company is also in india and in future settlement will also take place in india too.

I would like to have expert opinion on it.

please give me your comment on it too

why we follow ADA when it comes to standard Are we lacking somewhere in Medical ? i think we are the best and better as far as it comes to providing medical support.

    Dear Sir
    I Naveen kumar Policy holder of Birla Sunlife Insurance Company with Policy no.[protected]. The policy issued at 7th oct 2010. My policy recieved by me at 16th Dec 2010. Mean while it was recievd by my neighbour Shakuntla due to reason of similar address at 26th oct 2010 as per your company record.
    My advisor Mr. Manish sharma did not tell me about this and did wrong commitment to me. He said that company will give me 20% gurantty on paper even he did show also. But on policy bond there is nothing like that. Only 10% is there even that is not gurranted.
    I visited personaly at karkarduma branch Delhi at 6th dec 2010, than i came to know that my bond has recieved by my neighbour at 26th oct 2010.
    I went at 17th Dec 2010 at my home branch Pitampura delhi. But they refused me and did not cancel my policy under freeiook cancelation. I mail thrice time to birla sunlife insurance co. but they did not replay till today.
    please consider my case and cancel my policy.
    Please help.

    I had left Birla Sunlife Insurance Co. Ltd in the Month of august 2010. The company has still not
    released my PF. Whenever we register the complaint in the HR desk. There is a autoreply that we
    will get back to you and its under process.

      Being a layman on the term 'investment', I procured the same policy No.[protected] with an assurance of 100 % market allocation. Recently I have seen the fund value which has gone 1/4 of the premium amount. Irony of the situation is that Birla agent cheated me and placed the policy on 20 Years term. I feel cheated via Birla Saral Jeewan. Don't know whether the nature of this policy is in IRDA's knowledge or not. However I will surrender the policy after 3 years and will never go back to Birla again. The worst policy I have ever seen which simply robs money out of customer's pocket.

      I have the same issue With Birla Sunlife Saral jeevan. I am planning to lodge a complain against the company in IRDA and Consumer forum. If possible join me.

        I HAVE SURRENDERED MY POLICY NO.[protected] ON DTD. 11-12-10 & THEY PROPOSED 15 WORKING DAYS TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS.

        MEANWHILE , I FREQUENTLY REMAIN IN TOUCH WITH THEM FOR STATUS OF PAYOUT REQUEST.

        AFTER 15 DAYS , THEY SENT BACK MY POLICY WITH QUERY THAT SIGNATURES ARE MIS-MATCHING & YOU HAVE TO AGAIN DEPOSIT THE DOCS. WITH CHANGE IN SIGNATURE FORM BEING ATTESTED BY YOUR BANKERS.

        AGAIN, I HAVE DEPOSITED MY SURRENDER REQUEST ON DTD.[protected]. NOW, AGAIN THAY PROPOSED FOR 15 WORKING DAYS.

        WHY THEY DELAYED FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS TO RAISE A QUERY & WHY THEY DO NOT SETTLE IT AT PRIORITY BASIS.

        I AM IN DEEP NEED OF MONEY & THEY ARE TORTURING ME.

        PLS. RESOLVE THE MATTER.

          I have an Insurance policy with Birla Sunlife on which I am making timely payments of my premium. there has been no ocassion where i have missed the payment.

          I asked for a tax certificate from the compnay to submit in my compnay to avail tax benefit under section 80 C.

          they are only giving me the certificate for the premium paid till date in the financial year and I am denied with the certificate for the premium payable till march 31st 2011.

          As a customer I have a right to receive this without which i would not be able to get any tax benefit for the amount that I am supposed to pay for the rest of the year.

          Despite sending e-mails to their Chief Greviance Redressal officer also they have not responded.

          Can you please help me with this.

            Hi,

            Birla Sunlife has taken 49000Rs from my credit card as a policy amount and when i said i want to cancel the policy they have sent out a letter saying the your policy got cancelled but the funds available in my policy is nill . They mean to say that 49000Rs what i have paid is been invested and for cancellation charges it is been adjusted.

            So now i was been left out with 0Rs returns from the Birls Sunlife policy.

            Please Note: No where in the policy document of the executive who met me have said this that i will not be paid anything if i go for cencellation.

            Yes i agree, for me also the same issue happens, when i called the Citi Bank to stop payment for my policy from my credit card, they are saying that they cant help on this and when i called Birla Sunlife for Cancellation then are not agreeing and sending the documents back. Please help to resolve this issue

              i was an agency manager at Burhanpur branch.My employee code was 18304.and resignation is year 2008. sir i've not received my FFS yet.everytime hehelpdesk gave me wrong Commitment .
              Please note that your FFS has been completed and you will receive it at the end of this month.

                  Dear All;

                  This S.Madhusudhan rao worked as a Senior Agency Manager located at Visakhapatnam-1 branch(806) and

                  my Emp-Id-11917,Business code-379073 since 11th July 2007, reporting to Mr.Ravi kumar (BM) and i resigned on 9th nov 2010. sir i want to tell some thing about my resignation. on 9th November My BM forced me to give resignation with out any reason. i requested an a expelnation but they haven' given any time and they asked to give spot resignation. They not accepting one month notice period also and they are removed me on the same day and blocked my mail access before giving resignation.Is this MNC culture?. what about the values of the comapny.in meetings they are told that for SAM don't have any theft and given job security but why they want me to give resignation. right now i am on roads and i haven't got any job other than insurance sector.

                  especially i want to tell about my BM Mr.Ravi kumar that, he joined in organization 2 years back he spoiled around 25 employees carrier

                  1. He recruit the agency manager above 200 K.ms rural places like vizayanagaram,srikakulam,parwatipuram,bobbili, Nakkapalli and palasa.

                  2. He recruit es from rural places and throwing out the urban employees.

                  3. Total team members in vizag-1 not working with heatfully because he gives notices and uses unparlamentary languages and blackmail by giving non performance notices for his promotions and targets and spoiled our carriers.

                  4. they forced me to give resignation and i mentioned same thing on my letter but they are not accepted that.otherwise they give termination letter. that'y why i resigned by saying that i have some other opportunity on my letter.

                  5. I don't have any job right now and i am on roads. i have 2 kids along with my father and mother.

                  6.even i tried for any other job they are not giving any good feed back, that's why i haven't got any job and spoiled my life. and what can i do?

                  7. my BM MR.Ravi kumar feels him self as a CEO and he never motivates team.

                  8. our ARM Mr.Suresh kumar never motivated us. he always tells that iam giving free salary as a charity and fears us by giving notices.

                  9. BM ravi kumar never maintained his total team from last 2 years. and he is not giving any employment to vizag people.

                  10. I am sure that by December 31'st more that 50% managers going to give resignation which allready with BMs hand


                  i feel hat Birls sunlife is good in ethics and values but BMs like Ravikumar spoiles that. plz make an enquiry on what basis they are removing us and what happens in branch. EVERYBODY IN BRANCH INCLUDING OPERATIONS, HOUSE KEEPING BOYUS, SECURITY ARE AGAINST Mr.RAVIKUMAR. you just check with some other third party.so please save those people who are willing to work.

                    Hi Sir,

                    I took birla sunlife gold plus 2 policy which we need to pay the premium for 3 years. Premium for an year is 50,000.But in gold plus there is an option to reduce the premium from 2nd year by giving a premium reduction form.

                    I had given the premium reduction letter..but birla is not accepting it saying that option is no more..

                    Please do the needful.

                      I got this policy[protected] Name of Praveen Kumar Goswami, now I want dues that it is not reaching me since a very long time though my cheque posted twice but i have not received it , so kindly look in to the meter and help me at the earliest in Hope quick response.
                      I, therefore, once again request you to look into the above stated matter at your earliest and oblige. Needless to say that in case of your inaction in the above matter, I will be forced to take up the matter in accordance with the law and further inform the same to media to inform the investing public how unsafe their hard earned money is with you.

                        This is G Raghubalan son of Mrs. G Jothimani, on whose behalf I am sending you this mail, as my mother is around 69years old and she is unable to follow up on this issue, which your company executives are unable to help us so far.

                        My mother has invested in 04 policies for her 04 grand daughters on the 22 Oct 2009, vide Axis Bank cheques of Rs.15000/- each, through your Insurance Advisor Dhrubajyoti Saikia (Insurance Advisor Number: AG4086) . All these 04 Axis Bank cheques (numbered 7941, 7942, 7943 & 7944) were accepted, honoured & credited to Birla Sunlife. Out of these, one of the policy amount was returned, by pay order, due to the some technical reason.This automatically meant that the other Three policies are supposed to be active, namely,[protected], 03296926,[protected].

                        On the due date of the second premium, when we got in touch for paying the second annual premium, we are told that only two policies are active. We are further informed by your branch at Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, where we went physically to check up, that one of these 03 policies is not active as the cheque issued was dishonoured. This is the same information which we received, when we contacted your Customer Care number as well.When we contacted our Insurance Advisor Mr Dhrubajyoti Saikia, he was also unaware of the same and he has also been trying to help us find out the reason for this status.Now Policy Number[protected] seems to be the policy which is reflecting inactive in your system despite the amount having been debited from the account towards Birla Sunlife.

                        On enquiring from Axis Bank whose cheques hads been issued we noticed that all 04 cheques had been debited. So there obviously is no question of any cheque being dishonoured. We were also told by Dhrubajyoti,and your Customer Care Executive over phone and also Mr.Nanjundaswamy (Head of Sales) that we can send a complaint letter with the bank statement and we would get a response within a week.

                        We collected a statement from the Bank and forwarded the letter through Mr Dhrubajyoti who had handed it over to the Kalyan Nagar Branch in Bangalore and he was informed that they would be forwarding the same to the Head Office. I was informed that I would be hearing in a weeks time. Till date I have not heard from anyone and its more than a month !!

                        Now, when I contact anyone at Birla Sunlife, I am told that no letter has been received and my problem continues. On repeated calls to your Customer Care Executives and various frustrated conversations, I am yet to see anyone bothered to do anything about the whole issue.

                        Now this is a last ditch effort from my side, in this age of heightened Customer Service where I am dealing with an extremely unprofessional set up where not a single soul wants to take up ownersip of your Customers Problems.

                        So I am sending this mail to a couple of email ids which i happen to have got (Hoping it reaches someone who bothers to respond and solve the problem) and I am cc'ing the Insurance Advisor Dhrubajyoti Saikia as well, with the details of my problem. I am herewith attaching the bank Statement which clearly indicates that none of the 04 cheques issued was dishonoured, as every executive of your company that I have spoken to is claiming.

                        Hoping that I would get a proactive response, alongwith some effort from the companys end to sort out my probs, rather than telling me what I should do next, which is what everyone in your company seems to be doing. I look forward to a response at the earliest, which should not be an attempt to 'pass the buck' as this again seems to be common with Birla Sunlife staff, failing which i would be forced to look at other options.

                          MY ISSUE IS THAT WHEN I WENT TO BIRLA SUN LIFE OFFICE FOR DEPOSITING THE PREMIUM AMOUNT THEY TOLD ME THAT OUR SERVER IS NOT WORKING SO WE CAN'T DEPOSIT YOUR POLICY'S PREMIUM SO PLEASE DEPOSIT NEXT DAY. BUT WHEN I GO AFTER FOUR DAYS TIME THEN THEY SAY'S YOUR PREMIUM IS DUE ON MONTHS MORE AND DEPOSIT THIS IS NOT FIRST TIME IT'S 3RD OR 4TH TIME WHEN I AM IRRITATE ON ALL OF THESE THING,S AGAIN & AGAIN I ASK THE PROCESSOR REQUEST TO SURRENDER MY POLICY THEN THEY TOLD ME THE YOUR POLICE CAN'T BE SURRENDER BEFORE 5YRS BUT AT THE TIME OF POLICY . THEY TOLD 3YEAR NOT FIVE SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I DO. OFFICE STAFF ALSO NOT GOOD BEHAVIOR ALSO VERY BAD.

                          I m one advisor of birla sun life, have take one policy in 14 march 2011 but till date i have not received my welcome kit and certificate. if company not support to advisors then how they will support to customers, i m not satisfied to companies service.

                            WHEREA AS I AM NOT GAVE HIM ANY REQUEST TO SURRENDER MY POLICY AND MY POLICY PERIOD IS NOT COMPLETED. THEY SURRENDER MY POLICY WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION AND WIHOUT MY REQUEST.

                            AFTER THAT I CALLED TO CUSTOMER CARE OF BIRLA SUN LIFE. AS PER TELLE COMMUNICATION WITH MISS SHWETA THEY TOLD ME YOUR POLICY IS ACTIVE WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS.

                            BUT MY ISSUE IS THAT HOW CAN THEY ITSELF SURRENDER MY POLICY WIHOUT MY CONSENT AND IF IN BETWEEN THAT PERIOD ANY THING HAPPENED TO ME ARE THEY LIABLE FOR THAT

                            KINDLY TAKE A SERIOUS CONCERN WITH THAT AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION IMEEDIATELY

                              Dear Sir;
                              I have a Birla Sunlife insurance Dream Plan Policy 2 years back. Now I want to change ECS bank after change my Job. I request my corporate agent Accord Financial Services A-60 Lajpat Nagar -2 but no responce. Then I request to Birla Sunlife 2-3 times. No responce from company. even I complaint to IRDA then they email & his employee Mr.Dharsta Bhuan harrass me & give life threat. I wrote several times to Birla Sunlife senier employee but no solution till now.

                                Respected Sir,
                                I have taken a birla sunlife insurance on feb 2010. Now Iam posted in Israel with UN Army for six months. I don't check my policy without CIP/TPIN Nos I wrote three more letters to company to provide this above nos. till today they don't issue this no to me. So, sir please do something for me to get this nos as early.

                                birla sunlife — access payment cannot refund

                                Dear Sir,

                                I am Mr. Ranjib has a policy no[protected], i have paid 7,997.01 on june 2010 but amount credited my policy is 5997.72. then i made a call for access payment but still they are not provided the same, so i put a requested for recovery of that much amount.

                                  Hi,
                                  I hold a Health insurance of Birla sun life. My claim has been approve since last 4 months but the TTK guys have not been sending me the amount.
                                  All Birla Insurance claims have been handled by TTK and its a hell . The call center guys just respond by saying " you will get the check in 2 days" . Since last 4 months this is what is happening . There is no point of escalation that is available.
                                  I believe it was a grave mistake to have invested in this policy. I am penning down my complain so that it serves as an eye open to other current and future policy holders.

                                  I have apply my wife keshwati death claim 20 feb2017 .
                                  This is withreference to aforesaid policy no.[protected] where i m following up for a long time but got resolution till date.Due to this delay/non-payment i am getting suffered/harrasment even all document formalities done by me.kindly confirm how many days after i will recieved my wife policy claim amount. why company not replying my mail .

                                    I have invested in Birla Sun Life Saral Jeevan - Fund Coverage and Saral Jeevan life coverage – Term 20 on 16.09.2009. I had paid Rs. 50,000/- towards first premium and have allotted 4988.227 units @ Rs. 10.023. I read the policy details very carefully and find everything as per the discussion and illustration provided by Mr. Rishi Chaturvedi- Senior Unit Sales Manager – Alternate Channels and Mr. Soumojit Dutta at time of inception of the policy. I have also received my gift voucher and gold coin as per the scheme of Birla Sun Life for the specific product from Mr. Soumojit Dutta.
                                    I received my policy account statement for the period 16.09.2009 to 16.09.2010 in the last week of September 2010. I surprised to see that monthly cost of insurance and administrative charges are deducted from my account. These charges were not discussed or illustrated by Mr Chaturvedi and Mr. Dutta at the time of inception of policy and it was also not written in the policy documents provided by the company.
                                    Further, the cost of insurance Rs. 22,188.41 against the yearly premium of Rs.50,000/- is too high. I am not prepared to maintain such high cost. If the cost elements were disclosed by the company at time of taking the policy, I could not take the policy.
                                    I had written mail to the customer care of Birla Sunlife and explained about the charges and asked to cancel my policy. But it was informed to me that they are unable to cancel the policy because I was not exercised within the freelook period.
                                    Sir, please be informed that I was in dark about the charges during freelook period. I had written mail immediately after receiving the account statement.
                                    I am repeatedly writing that I was not aware about the charges and it was intensely concealed at the time of inception of the policy and also I am not prepared to maintain such high charges. Sir, I am very sorry to say but I am not receiving any satisfactory reply.
                                    Sir, I would request you, kindly look the matter and help me to get refund the hard earned money.

                                    sir i have two insurance plan from birlasun life ,platinum plus-iv, childrens dream plan, policy no[protected]/
                                    client id-[protected]/dt of policy-17/12/09 and childrens dream plan, but to my surprise no regular receipts were recd from company and details of my investments/status from which i faced severe problem in filling th ITR. this is not acceptable from such a repited insurance comp like bsl, what irda regulating on these affairs.

                                      Please help to resolve this problem which I am facing from Birla Sun life



                                      This is the whole story



                                      On date 7/9/2010 or 8/9/2010 myself and my friend Andeep went to Birla Sun Life Guwahati office, I ask them I want to surrender my policy no[protected] and then they told me your 3 year completing on date 19/9/2010 then I again ask them can I fill up my policy surrender form in advance they told me yes but we process your request after 19/9/2010 then I sad its ok and I fill up the form.



                                      Then after 8 to 9 days I got a call from Birla Sun life costumer care and they ask me sir we received your policy surrender from did you want to surrender your policy I sad yes I want to surrender then he told me sir don’t surrender your policy now I asked why he told me sir you just completed your 3 years after 3 years we didn’t charge for any fund management and for any purpose your money will grow very fast I ask him tell me one thing is there any deduction if I surrender my policy now I ask him 2 times then he told me no sir you completed your 3 year in this policy after 3 year there is no deduction and your current total fund value is 204000/- Rs and you will get all 204000/- Rs. after that only I conform him ok only if there is no deduction then I want to surrender.





                                      After 15 days I call costumer care and ask them what is the states of my money when I got my money they said sir our server is very slow please call after some time then after 1 or 2 days I again call and ask the same they said sir your request is under process you will get very soon I just ask them what is the amount I am getting they told me sir you getting approx.157000/- Rs I ask her I am getting 157000/-Rs only why? she told me sir you fill up your surrender form on date8/9/2010 11 days before competing 3 year that’s why we deducted 47000 and some Rs from fund value I ask her I gat a call from costumer care and he told me sir there is no deduction if you surrender your policy now after that only I surrender my policy she forward my call to her senior boss and they just told me sir we will look in to this mater and I told him I know when every costumer care call any one the always record the conversation if I am lying you can check your records and hear what I talk with costumer care.



                                      I have some points



                                      1. No body told me any think about Deduction I don’t know why?

                                      I don’t think I did any mistake.

                                      2. I didn’t giving any body name because it’s not about any particular parson its all

                                      about Birla Sun Life reputation.



                                      Every body misguide me and give me wrong information after this experience it’s very hard to trust Birla Sun Life in further in my life



                                      NOTE:-



                                      Because of this i am very much mentally disturb



                                      I request BIRLA SUN LIFE CO please don’t force me to go for consumer court for justice



                                      I hope this problem will resolve ASAP
