Purchased the Boat Avante Soundbar in Feb 2020 from Reliance store bangalore. I travelled to my native Odisha in the month of March 2020 and due to lockdown I could not return to Bangalore. Finally once the lockdown was removed, I went back to bangalore in November. I tested my soundbar and was unable to play audio when connecting Bluetooth option. As I had to return back to Odisha hence I carried the sounbar along with me and brought to Odisha as I thought I will get it checked from Service Center in Bhubaneshwar. Again there was a lockdown and hence I could visit the service center and meantime the warranty also expired.
I raised a request with ref 2558123 but no resolution. Today(1-Sep 2021) I went to Boat service Center (Devayoni Support Service India Pvt Ltd - boAt Service Center Bhubaneswar, Odisha) and the person there said that as warranty is expired nothing can be done !!!
Boat does not have sufficient Service center and also very particular about warranty. Boat should re consider warranty due to pandamic situation and help in fixing issue rather than holding to Warranty terms and conditions as they should understand that we also are bearing the service experience due to pandamic..Long wait time in customer care and service centers.
Again I created a Service request 3292989 and waiting someone to help in this.
