Sub: COMPLAINT AGAINST BOSCH AUTHORISED(?) CAR SERVICE CENTER

Dear Sir,

We have two cars. We have been using 4 wheelers since 1979. We wished to try Bosch servicing centre keeping the great brand value of Bosch at the back of our mind.

Upon checking the website, we realized that your office (Deccan Car Services, # 1-3-1039, Behind Marriot Hotel, Kavadiguda, Secunderabad - 500 080, Ph:[protected] and Mobile: [protected]) does not appear in your "Bosch Authorized Car Service Centre" list!!

You are requested to take immediate action against the management of this service centre for openly mis-using the "Bosch" company logo. If the above said company is your channel partner or franchisee and the website is not updated, then kindly entertain my following complaint:

Upon the advice of Mr. Mahindra of your workshop, at the above address, who said that the vehicle needs special service at 37, 000 (approximately) KMs. I left the car at the service centre for such service. The initial estimate for such service was given to me was Rs. 6, 500/-. After a couple of hours, over telephone he explained that some parts in the steering system need to be replaced and it is going to cost me extra Rs. 5, 800/- approximately. I agreed to that also. He promised that the vehicle will be ready by the same day evening(Friday).

However, my car was not ready on Friday and I had to go next day and waited till lunch hour when the vehicle was delivered.

While driving back home I noticed that the air conditioning was not effective and I was profusely sweating. The next working day, i.e. Monday (22/02/2016) morning I visited your workshop and complained to Mr. Hari, who assured me that he would look into the problem. After some time, he calls me and says, "sir, the A/C gas got leaked". I asked him, "when the vehicle was given for a service why did you not bring this matter to my knowledge. How come you are reporting this to me, now after receiving my complaint?" He did not have any answer. He asked me to leave the vehicle again for a day since concerned technician had not reported and I should pay Rs.1, 000. I requested him to furnish the Customer Care and other necessary phone numbers with website for lodging a complaint. Then he said that he will discuss the issue with his boss and will get back to me.

Upon returning he said, "sir, you will be dropped home by my employee on motor cycle. The gas for A/c unit will be checked and filled today itself. The vehicle will be delivered to you at your home. He also said the charges are going to be Rs. 1, 000/-". He sent the vehicle to my place with a bill of Rs. 1, 334/- which I paid under protest.

I have following complaints:
 When the car was delivered to Bosch, our AC was fully functional. However, when it was delivered back, after the service at BOSCH, AC was NOT cooling.
 Upon complaining and visiting your garage second time, wasting my time, effort & energy, I am told by your staff about the gas leakage.
 I am charged Rs.1334 by your garage for (gas filling) to RECTIFY THE MISTAKE COMMITTED BY BOSCH’s staff.
 I should be reimbursed for the payment and also compensated for my wasted time & effort since the service for which I paid Rs.6500 resulted in the gas leak from AC.

    I purchased the washing machine Model WAK 24168 IN 101 on 19-8-15 at Girias, Indiranagar Bangalore. From the beginning, the machine stops working with a beep showing E17. I complained several times. They rectify and go and the same repeats. There is some problem in the macine. I just want you to take it back and replace with a new one.

      I have purchased BOSCH WASHING machine on 29/AUG/2012/, customer no
      A0131682 / DEALER VIVEKS/‎
      TYPE/ENR- WAX18260IN

      No doubts the machine was running perfect for three years, with
      minimum usage, twice a week.
      Since three months back onwards we are getting troubles on this machine
      We have been getting- error 26 on the display and machine completely
      stops working-
      We faced this two months back, the technicians tells me its because
      of some insects have gone inside!!!
      We paid 800rs for the service- which he cleaned for the purpose there
      after the machine was working. But the problem did not end there, we
      had the similar problem
      now, four days back and after prolonged request, technician attended
      and similar problem he pronounced and this time on our request he
      didn't accept any charges but in the bargain the machine stopped
      working very soon after he had left. Same error is being reflected
      again and again in the display and making the machine unusable.
      Why we consumers had to be put into hardship, mental stress,
      difficulty inspite of spending RS 29000/ (TWENTY NINE THOUSAND) -
      Our last machine was BPL and tirelessly worked without any long
      troubles and infact washing quality I don't see any difference much,
      except the sound of BOSCH is pleasant but not at the expense of
      spending 800rs every month .
      I am requesting you to kindly send a proper technician, who can fix
      the trouble for once for all.
      We have requested for AMC, or any warranty available with you but your
      response were nothing available, in this case does this mean we should
      be spending 800RS every month or may be more just to be proud owner of
      BOSCH.

      We believed this being the GERMAN product the quality of the product
      and service should be better, but now this rings me doubt weather my
      decision is wrong.
      Kindly look into this matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.

      Mean while please let me know the CONSUMER GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL OFFICER
      CONTACT DETAILS- as I am presently in S.AFRICA representing court case
      for my client in Durban court of Admiralty (Shipping), would like to
      meet the officer to present our case in person by 2nd week of March.

      Awaiting yours action at the earliest and reply to this as well.

          Hello this is arjun from mandya, Karnataka. We bought a refrigerator "KGN57AI50I" and washing machine "WVG30460IN 8/5 KG" on DEC 12th, we got delivered through VRL. The packing of refrigerator was worst. After 5 days we unpacked, there is dent and some scratches on refrigerators, 7th day service guy came, he found dent and scratches then he took photos of it, he informed us not use it, tht they will give replacement of it. I waited for their call for almost 15days, then I only called them they replied that " we are not going to do replacement" the nonsense reason they gave is 1) Delivery is through VRL 2)We unpacked the refrigerator before service guy visit. 3)we complained or called them after a week we received delivery. My argument is, we waited for service guy for 5 days then we unpacked the refrigerator, but we kept it idle(even not switched it on). After argued with retailer, he suggested to do complaint . Then I made a complaint, my complaint num is "[protected]", I dint get any call from them for 3days, on the third calling them at 6th time, they said my complaint has escalated just now(when I called them around 8pm, 3rd day). waiting for replacement and their call. In my life I wont purchase any bosch appliances, I request not buy any bosch products. WORST SERVICES. PFA below, pic of packed state of refrigerator when we got delivery.

            HI I had registered complaint about the crack developed to the door clamp which allows the front door to open and close fitted to the body of the machine. (enclosed picture). The complaint was registered vide No. [protected] on 11th Dec 2015. The engineer came to our residence after 4 days and taken the picture and left stating will get back in 24 hours time after reviewing this with Mumbai office. The Engineer did not call up and I had to call the call centre couple of times to review my compliant. Subsequently the engineer calls stating that the entire door along with clamp has to be replaced as the clamp is made of plastic thought my machine is under warrenty. I did mention that the clamp (inges) is made of cast Iron, he refused to accept. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this issue on priority. Please find my washing machine details. Bosch Washing Machine SNO. WAB16260IN - 6 KG Date of Purchase : 14th Sept 2014.

                Worst service that can be ever given by a consumer organization. Bosch washing machine under warranty has conked off in a years time ... Service request placed last Sunday - 29 November 2015 morning was attended to only on Wednesday - 2 December evening after multiple follow ups ... The engineers went back after diagnosis... An escalation request was placed again to resolve the issue on Friday - 4 December 2015.The first response to an escalation request has come in now - Saturday 5 December 2015 evening 6 p.m. - more than 36 hours later! The funniest part is - this is only a response call to tell me that they will TRY to resolve the issue on Monday. Despite repeated requests, to give a standby machine and the next higher up contact detail - no response to that as well ... Only one response - we will see on Monday 7 December 2015... This is the worst customer service I have ever come across! If I make a call to Samsung, they solve it within 24 hrs and if not possible would have given me a standby machine ... Buying Bosch was the worst consumer electronics decision that I have made in the last 20 years!

                One of the worst decision in my lifetime is buying the Bosch dishwasher.

                When my dishwasher failed in just 2 yrs time I was asked to replace the heating element for 8k which I did and when asked for explantation on how the heating element was damaged in just 2 yrs they sent a technician home to check if the water is hard at my place. Please note-- they insisted to send the technician to chk the water quality despite me telling them that I have been living in this place and city for just one month now and hence there is no point checking the water quality here. So, the technician who came to chk the water quality opened the machine and fixed it back and left home.

                Few hrs later again another Siemens technician came home to install my new purchased Siemens washing machine (probably another mistake in my life). The moment he looked at the dishwasher he asked me if anyone opened the machine as he could see water around. I said yes and also mentioned that I didn't bother to turn on the machine and chk when technician was around as he actually didn't repair anything. He said the person has not fixed the dishwasher back properly.

                Then he tried to turn on the dishwasher and at that moment I heard a thud notice and he further opened the dishwasher and showed the burnt motherboard due to water inside.

                I am completely frustrated with this overall situation. I am short of words to explain my frustration.

                So the lesson I learn from my experience is there is no point spending money on premium brands. There is no difference between them and other so called non-premium brands in the market. I regret for wasting my money on Bosch.

                  On purchasing Bosch washing machine, I thought I am a proud customer in India but now Iam extremely regretted for having bought your device.it was purchased in october 2012.Just within 3 years it began to produce rumbling sound while it spins.Hence we placed a complaint on[protected] With complaint no [protected].It was only after we called on the Help line, the Technician turned up on 7th November 2015 and detected the problem .He said that the bearings have to be replaced. I was called on from customer care and informed that bearings cost approximately Rs.7500/- and the same had to be procured from Mumbai and within seven days they they are going to replace.After one week again I called on the Service center.Please redefine what service means to you.I am really upset with your irresponsible and poor service.

I believed it just because your croma ppl also said the same and its all just waste of money. When I spoke to the Bosch service center they are charging 800 rs to say why the machine dances !                       We purchased Bosch Avantixx Washing Machine WAS24460IN in January 2013. In March 2015, the machine stopped responding. After a complaint lodged through company service center, a personal was sent to diagnose the machine. There was a charge of 800 Rs. to visit and check the machine. The person found out that the machine has power module failed. When inquired about the part, the replacement cost of this part was Rs.15, 000. I was shocked to find the costs as we had paid over Rs. 45, 000 for this machine & it failed in just over 2 years. We understand that Bosch is an international brand with reputation to its products. I did not expect it to fail in such as short span. The company has such confidence in its products that they provide warranty of only 2 years & their products last just about that. The replacement cost of part is totally unrealistic, 1/3 cost of the product. It is absolutely ridiculous that they expect their clients to pay such amounts to replace their parts failed in such a short span. This is shoddy practice to charge premium on replacement products when premium is already paid on their product. The replacement part is not even available in market. So, you either pay them unrealistic money to fix product or dump their product & buy some other brand machine. I would suggest consumers to avoid this brand as it will cost you huge amount to fix the broken product if it is out of warranty. The product works fine till it works. We were satisfied with its performance. I would suggest to the higher bosses of this company to stop using malpractices & charge reasonable money for replacement parts otherwise you would not survive longer in this market.

                      I had purchased Bosch avantixx xx washing machine in June 2012. The power module failed . Technician visit cost me 800rs.which is higher than others.when asked about the replacement they said it will cost 13000rs. The parts are not available in market and they charge exorbitant amount.such a company malpractice is highly unbelievable.it is time they realized name is not the criteria.we are senior citizens using the machine only thrice a week.it has caused us a lot of mental torture. Swapnil from the company spoke to me and said he will get back but hasn't.bad services on their.i would request the company to solve my problem
                      Never saw such a pathetic and quality-less product and did not expected the same from BOSCH; world leader in mechanical equipments. After sales service is more frustrating, contradictory to BOSCH service tagline “Service you can trust 100 percent". I bought BOSCH washing machine “WAX1826IN” in Nov-12 for 27K with 2 years warranty and in March-16 suddenly started malfunctioning. I called up customer care (which works Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm and technician visiting charges of whopping Rs.800/-) and provided me Service Req. No. [protected]. Technician visited and gave me quote of Rs. 10, 000/- for power supply which is more than 1/3 cost of washing machine with no guaranty (applause). This means, even if I spend Rs.10K for power supply and it gives problem very next day then again I’ll have to pay 10K for replacement which is damn ridiculous. Why can’t company gives warranty on replaced part if it costs too high.

                      Thanks for giving me world class product which I never going to buy and would never recommend to anyone to buy any product from BOSCH.

Their service providers are up for a quick buck on parts and service fee without warranty.

                      Did you receive any direct communication or resolution from Bosch?

                      Either they replace it free of cost or confirm a warranty of atleast 2 years on their power module part. This should not be blowing up like this.

                      If this is being read by the customer service team at bosch, its a reminder that this is a serious issue and will certainly impact bosch's operating model in INDIA.

                      Never expected this from BOSCH.. Power module failure for washing machine is costing 10000, when the washing machine itself costed me 27000 rupees.

                      Pathetic Bosch...
                      I am facing the same issue. Power module failed just within 2 years 15 days time. Surprisingly, Bosch service expert comments its usual and voltage fluctuation is responsible for this menace. He didn't even open the machine. It's 6Kg wAx1616 washing machine bought in Oct 2014.

                      I see a series of same concern from variety of Bosch consumer that is raising finger on me why didn't i even think of reading this forum before taking decision to buy this.

                      It's quoted for 10K bucks. Representative says that Bosch didn't consider even one hour beyond warranty period and it's already 15 days beyond the last day of warranty so no warranty. Should I take away from here as this component is not made in accordance to our country's electricity environment? What about performance commitment on durability part. I m planning to scrap this as I m not sure how long the next power module is going to work? Completely senseless business if going for so costlier component when machine is being used for 2 persons family and giving a damage upto this extent in 2 years only.

                      1) No performance commitment - incompetent power module to withstand metro city electric supply
                      2) No Goodwill warranty (no consideration for 15 days)
                      3) Non homologous component
                      4) No individual attention - general approach without understanding view point

                          I have purchased a bosch dishwasher and it was delivered to my residence on 11/10/2015.It has been more than 4 days and i am yet to to hear from the company for the installation of the machine.I have given several reminders to the company but it has gone into deaf ears.I am fed up with this and now would like to return this machine.Please advise me on course of action.

                            I complained on[protected] and my order no. is [protected]. I had complained on priority basis as my machine is broken down from[protected]. Today is the 3rd day and my complain is yet not met with. I have had this problem earlier too and then also I had this same problem with the service. This is very unprofessional

                              We have Purchased a Lawn Machine vide Bill No- 0730 from Dealer - "Gulab Bohra Power Tools & Machineries, Udaipur" on dated 19.10.2013. Till date this was 2 times repaired but yet it needs more repairing. We know you have well known reputed name in brand but when we reached at Dealer ""Gulab Bohra Power Tools & Machineries, Udaipur" for repairing, he is not co-operating properly and his behavior towards customer is not good as comparing to your brand value.

                              Dealer is not properly guiding that what to do next for repairing the Lawn Mower. We are just expressing our pain that how is a consumer suffering due to poor services by your authorized dealer. Also we received reply against our request that you do whatever you wants to do at your own level and we are not concerning for your issue after sales.

                              I hope our complaint will be noticed by concern authority at your company and grievance will be provided for the same ASAP.

                                My Bosch dishwasher machine is under warranty. Service engineer took 3 weeks of time to attend the complaint. Machine was unused/idle for 3 weeks and got damaged by rat. Now Bosch is asking for service and parts cost which is almost same as new machine cost. If the complaint was attended in 48 working hours, the machine would have been ready within warranty itself. Delay is from Bosch service side and I don’t want to pay for it. Product detail: Bosch dishwasher SMS60L02IN purchased from EZone (online) Purchase Date 26-Dec-2014 Invoice No 91221618 Amount paid: 28941.00 service order no:[protected] Cost estimate for parts and service: 27720.00 I explained below how Bosch service faking customer every time and how serious about their customer complaints. 26th Jun : Dishwasher did not start on this morning. Registered the complaint at call center ([protected]) Call-center: registered service order no[protected], and promised to attend the complaint in next 48 working hrs. After 48 working hrs. 29th Jun: None attend . 1 day delay 30th Jun: Engineer: Darmesh is rude person, He gave 1st call around 1PM, finally reached home at 6PM . he knew the address still he was wasting the time asking route. He said “due to power fluctuation disply/control unit gone, need to replace the same. The same comes under warranty. it will take 2-3 days to replace the unit. After 3 working days 4th Jul: Call-center said : This is the 1st complaint we received for this particular unit. We dont have spare part. it should be imported from Germany specially for you. it will take min 2 weeks not 2 days. After 2 weeks: 13th Jul: call-center said: There was similar complaint in your area, our engineer installed it to another customer by mistake, we will get you another board asap. My patience was at the end and I had to escalate this higher level. 3rd – 16th Jul: None attend. 14 days delay 17th Jul: Engineer Suresh visited and He commented: its ‘Rat bit’ hence nothing is covered under warranty. customer has to pay for service and parts. cost estimate will be ready in another 2 days same will be sent through email. This 14 days of delay made machine sit idle and caused this damage. 20th Jul: Satish is Executive-Customer Relationship. He is good liar.. He said he already sent estimate through email. I checked all my folders and called him again for asking his email-id thinking I can send test mail. He was reluctant, that made clear he never sent mail. He said he will send it again. Actually estimate was not ready. 25th Jul: I again requested to escalate this to higher level as it was not going anywhere. 30th Jul: Again Suresh visited, repeated same story as per his last visited. ( 17th Jul ). (So one of his visit was useless). After 2 days 3rd – 7th Aug: No email. 5 days delay. 8th Aug: Finally Satish sent mail with cost estimate 27720.00 which just one thousand less than new machine cost.

                                    This has reference to the complaint made by us on 1st August 2015 regarding the non functioning of the refrigerator Type / E-NR - KDN46AI50I/03. Service engineer had visited us on 4th August - AFTER 3 DAYS... Name - Santosh Karande - Number [protected] He said the power module 750488 is to be changed... This will take 3-4 days. Now when i spoke to him and called up the call centre twice since morning they are saying that it will take another 4-5 days as the part is coming from Germany... Now this is what I DO NOT UNDERSTAND... when you are selling the products here in India then why the spare parts are not managed here in india. I am incurring big losses as the products that are being kept in the refrigerator are perishable and because of monsoon weather here in mumbai it is causing lots of damage. We had already paid Rs 800/- for the visit of an engineer i.e. a service visit whereas there was no service given during the visit. Rather a false committment was made to us that this will take 3-4 days to repair. This is very poor arrangement from a International Brand like BOSCH. Please consider this as top priority and revert. I shall be escalating this issue if this repair is not done latest by 11th August 2015.

                                      I purcahsed 404lts bosch refrigerator on 20/10/2014 on 20/7/2015 it stopped working.the technician attended the complaint after 2 days and informed about the replacement pcboard. to my surprise it is not available in india right now and it is to be imported from GERMANT and it takes 15 days time. imagine the plight of the customer who spent

                                        Dear sir/madam

                                        I had purchased bosch washing machine wak20160in on 10.07.2015 from kings electronics kharghar navimumbai and the same in delivered on 11.07.2015.

                                        But today mr. Pervez alam your technician call for installation time, so i told them to come today(14/07/15) after 06.00pm or tomorrow (15/07/15)morning before 12.00pm but he is not agreeing on that.

                                        Even i called customer care and spoken with mr. Lakshman but they diddn't taken my complain regarding the same.

                                        So i request to you kindly look into the matter and do the installation on urgent basis as per my preferable time.
