Hello sir,
Best bus no 417, frequency is very less, Conductors are mannerless, they dont understand respectful language, I dont understand why so ill mannered people are recruited by best. Todays instance 4th of november. I waited 20 minutes for the bus, it came from suryanagar to vikhroli station for parksite in the evening 8 o clock. It was quit empty the driver halted it much before the bus stop nearly 25meters taking...

MH-01-S-8547 IS THE NUMBER OF THE B.E.S.T BUS THAT DAMAGED THE REAR BUMPER OF MY CAR.
THIS IS NOT A ONE OFF CASE WHERE A PRIVATE VEHICLE OR TAXI HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO THE RASH AND AGGRESSIVE DRIVING OF A CLASSLESS BUS DRIVER WHO HAS NOT EVEN ACCEPTED HIS MISTAKE.
THE FENDER BENDER HAPPENED NEAR TARDEO OPPOSITE SARDAR PAO BHAJI WALA. THE BUS DRIVER DELIBERATELY CLIPPED THE REAR OF MY VEHICLE WHICH, IF IT WASNT FOR MY GOOD DRIVING SKILL COULD HAVE LEAD TO A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THE DRIVER THEN WENT PAST ME ASIF NOTHING HAS HAPPENED ON THE CONTRARY SHOWED ME ATTITUDE. THE BUS SERVICE IS A SERVICE BUT IS OFF LATE PROVING TO BE OF NUISANCE VALUE WITH THEIR INTIMIDATION AND ROAD RAGE !! THIS HAS TO STOP I'M EMBARASSED BY THESE DRIVERS !! ITS SHAMEFUL

    This is to bring to your notice that the BEST bus no MH01 LA 5695 route no.9 to Nadkarni Park didnt halt at the Koliwada church even though there were 5 passengers awaiting on the bus stop. I also waved out my hand & the bus just sped away. The time was at 12.30 P.M.More over the bus was carrying 10 to 15 passengers at this time.BEST BUS Details are mentioned below:

    Bus No : MH01 LA 5695
    BUS Route NO: 9 to Nadkarni Park

    It,s regretful that this is a totally violation of rules in the day light.how this bus driver and conductor are dare to do it.It may be their usual practice to avoid the rules.

    B.E.S.T. — giving stale notes

    Respected sir

    I am very sorry to say that the B.E.S.T. conductors are giving stale notes which can't be taken by their own conductor in return. All best conductors are giving Rs 5 stale note which torn to the passengers and when the passengers deny to take that note the conductors start arguing and never return a proper note to the passengers, it is humble request that please provide a proper notes or please submit the stale notes to RBI which always ready to the notes.

      Dear Sir,

      I m writing in a pain to say about the Best services which was really really BEST before sum time. Now a day the services is horible as the fares have incresed the Buses are not stopped by the drivers and conductors at particular given Bus stops even though the bus is not that much crowded or either they stop the bus far away from the bus stop ... mens can run and catch however. but what bout the ladies.. i m specifically saying about the LBS Marg Part near Asian Paint Stop.From 5.30 pm to 9.30 same things happen..and then generally people wait wait and then take rickshaws .. most for the senior Citizens are also waiting for long hours coz of this behaviours of Best Employees now a days passengers are standing on the road (on Lbs highways) instead of inside the bus stop.

      Request you to plaese do the needful as they are behaving however they want as being a government employees and common people are been harrased with this kind of behaviour.

      Your positive approach on the same will be highly appreciated

        Hello,

        I regularly travel from JVPD bus depot to andheri west market and really feel troubled with the attitude thrown by the bus drivers and conductors.

        There are several 257 buses parked in the depot. There is absolutely no one to instruct which bus to board hence the commuters get into bus which is located near the bus stop of 257within the depot compound. The BEST driver derives a lot of fun in starting a completely different bus forcing all the passengers to get out of the bus and run behind the bus which the driver chooses to drive.

        More over, these days the frequency has reduced drastically. There are no buses for andheri station for more than an hour.

        Please note:
        1. With the hike in rickshaw fare it is not at all affordable to travel through rickshaw from Juhu to Andheri Station on a daily basis.
        2. With Global warming it is extremely hot in the afternoon.
        3. People are already tired with their daily routine. There are mostly teachers who after completing their working hours look forward to reaching home as soon as possible and it is extremely unfair and inhuman on part of BEST to trouble them by not providing bus at proper frequency and besides that they force commuters to change buses just to satify the bus drivers ego.

        It is my humble request to help me with details of relevant authority who can take this matter and resolve our grievances.

          This is to bring to your notice that From Gandhi nagar to kamal amrohi studio stop there are 5 to 6 buses running like 523, 524, 525,459,461. But there is no proper frequancy maintained by them. Drivers & conductors are very careless, they always skip to stop some of the small stops like sariput nagar,kamal amrohi studio. We are facing lots of trouble due to unpredictable changes in timings and undisciplined nature of drivers and conductors of best buses.. i observed so many times that although the bus is not that much crowded ,they pass bus very fastly from the stop.

          Please take some proper action as soon as possible.

            Dear Sir ,
            I am a regular passenger of the 451-Adarsha Nagar Bus, which is from the Goregaon Station (east) to Adarsha Nagar. I would like to bring to notice that BEST Bus Adarsha Nagar - 451 are not stopping at (Navjeevan Nagar, Central Dairy ) Bus Stop defined for them .
            If asked to conductor next day or some time later they say it was to crowded , and if that in case bus is empty conductor not stop bus this stops.
            From goregaon (E) to adarsh nagar there are only 1 buses running 451. i want to suggest them that there is no proper frequancy is maintaining by them. We are facing a lot of problem with the frequency of this bus.
            Plz Increase the Frequency of Bus. And take action again complaint very soon.
            I hope BEST will take some needful action on the same , and if not atleast will revert on the same .

            BEST bus service — Buses not stopping at KanjurMarg/Huma Mall Stop

            We encounter a very heavy crowd at KanjurMarg/Huma Mall Bus Stop. Towards IIT side many buses are plying but very rarely buses are stopping there. The bus nos. which stops there are written there but drivers are not bother to stop there.
            Please take appropriate action against those drivers. Also, have patrolling and random checks once in a while.

            Bus no 382 coming from Anshakti nagar, not halting at Mittal Estate stop, whereas at the Mittal Estate Bus stop, 382 bus number is there, bus conductor and bus driver is not listening to the passenger

            We are senior citizens. We were travelling by BEST bus no.39 from [censored]aladevi to Garware chowk on[protected] at 6.30pm. My wife was sitting on second row from back side and I was sitting just behind her.The conductor badge no E 55424 was issuing tickets and he was taking support of a seat where my wife was sitting. My wife requested him to take support of a seat where males are sitting but he arrogently said that she should sit on ladies seat which were already full.Also he said that these last two seats will ALWAYS face this problem.This is not only stupidity on his part but super arrogancy like what he does is right.When the ladies seat was vacant my wife went and occupied it to avoid further uneasiness. In my opinion he should have said sorry and taken the support of any other seats where the male passengers were sitting.But then he was one of noncooperative, arrogant peron of BEST who had no courtesy towards ladies and elderly passengers. Not only this but he was not comming in front side to issue tickets for elderly persons who are officially allowed to board th bus from front gate.Management should teach conductors lessons in modesty, courtasy and politeness. We are aware that they are burdened and some time even the passengers also don't cooperate.But for that conductors should not treat elderly passengers and ladies badly.

            this particular bus no.459 8.15 am Asian paints stop does not stop at the Bus stop. request you to please take some action agst the driver. this incident is every day from past one month.

            BEST bus service — Rash driving and damaging my vehicle

            Dear Sir,

            I introduce myself as Vijay pandey. Yesterday while returning from office and standing for green signal at mid choukey junction malad west, Best bus no mh01 L 8402 scratced my left side rear door and petrol tank. It is my humble request to hekp me in this matter as i require possible action to be taken against the rash driver and need my compensation.Please help me in same.

            I am daily traveller from Ferry Wharf to Dockyard station by best bus service. though there are 5 buses available on this route the timings are not constant due to which i have to wait daily 15-20 minutes to catch one of the bus

              Sir,
              i am best bus traveler and i buy i go Mumbai bus pass. today when i went to renew my card for current month i stand in Kew around 1hour then i reach the counter the counter man is saying he wants the pan card to take 500rs note or he need change.
              i was not caring my pan card i told him in nice manner take a photo id or my visiting card he start arguing with me and finally i didn’t renew my monthly go Mumbai pass.
              1. My question is why they don’t post this massage on the wall so peppole don’t west the time if they want pan card with all 500hundred note.
              2. Why they shut down the entire go Mumbai counter without any notice to the consumer.
              3 what I will do with go Mumbai pass?
              4 why they don’t have scanner like others.
              5 Why only one counter they have in colaba and the person doing all the work by hand so the one pass is taking 10 to15minutes

              My previous pass from Maharana pratap chowk to hedgewar chowk costing around Rs 160/- pm. On yesterday i went to renew the pass at mulund depot the answer received from authority is that minimum Rs 550/- pm suburban pass is available. Is this true. There are large amount of people travel within 3-7 km distance in mumbai why they should pay such high charge for traveling less distances.

                Dear Sir ,
                Referring above details I would like to bring the evident negligence for Sr. Citizen rights as to enter from front door.
                Having to travel from Abhinav Nagar to Borivali Stn., I was supposed to be allowed to enter from front door,but driver of the bus did not opened electronic front door . The bus was crowded at the rear end and near front middle of bus there was enough standing space .
                I thought bus door was not working , but while getting down I noticed that door was working .
                Why did the driver of bus refused front door entry to Sr. Citizen ?

                Bus no AS 707 and C-12.

                With respect to BUS no AS 707 the bus never comes on time and is always overcrowded. Please increase the frequency and ensure punctuality of the bus.

                With respect to BUS no C-12. I would like to mention that Dahanukar Wadi on link road is an imporatnt stop on Link road and thus would request you to allow this bus to halt on Dahanukar Wadi bus stop on link road. The bus is relatively empty and so it will acheive dual objective one help passengers to alight and ease some pressure from AS 707 bus.
                Had to go to portugese church from sitladevi temple road on 28-09-10.
                At 4pm I wanted to board bus route no 33 at st rd stop, bus no MH 01 AP 0492 Permit no 1683 arrived but didnt stop, when I screamed he stopped 10 mtr away, we walked n caught the bus, but one member couldnt get hold of the bus, as it moved without the conductor ringing the bell. When I asked the conductor he said the driver is new n apoliseged, later on when alighting I asked the driver he was very arogant n said what u want u do, I told him I will complain to General Manager he said u do I DONT CARE.
                Being a P S V driver see his guts n no respect to sr citizen. I hope the General Manager takes stern action against him. Driver no 15204 (satara) Conductor no 40564

                  Bus No.422 from I.I.T. Main gate bus stop at 6.25 a.m. on 12-9-10 charged Rs.50/- for 2 tickets of Rs.25/- each to go to Banda Mount Mary church and given only one ticket of Rs.25/- and other of Rs.14/-. And I had to pay fine of Rs.55/- at Bandra Mount Mary Bus stop. That same day I had to spend more than Rs.100/- due to the conductor's mistake. The concerned conductor should be punished strictly so that he will not repeat this mistake with any other passenger.

                  I have already complained at Bandra Bus Depot on same day[protected].

                  I am a senior citizen and I lost my 'presteige' in front of many people in the crowded bus as the feast was going on.

                    My BEST meter number is D980339 and my customer id is[protected]*6 which is in my mother's name Pratima Kanhaiyalal Ruparel. Address is 02, FLR:4TH, 108, BORA BAZAT ST, FORT,-001.

                    I haven't received the bill for the month of August 2010 whereas all the tenants have received their bill on 09/09/2010. The problem is that the person delivering these electricity bills hands over to one particular person on each floor who is not responsible at all. Even though my mother was at home but door was shut he didnt bother to give it in her hand.

                    My complain is that my bill is not yet received even though we were at home and isn't it the responsibilty of the person delivering them to give it in individual's hand whose bill it is. We even have name plates on door still this is happening. Kindly please look into the matter as it is not possible to pay the electricity bill without receiving it.

                      On 8th sept. 2010 around 4.00 p.m. I was travelling by a BEST bus in route no.28. I boarded the bus from bandra station, it was very crowded. I managed to get a seat. The conductor was near the front door of the bus. When he was passing by my seat I showed him the money. He overlooked it and thereafter never came to collect the money though I was seating with the money in my hand. Finally he came near Juhu to collect the money when the bus got empty and refused to collect and told me to travel for free. After repeated request also he was behaving rudely with me. Please look into the matter urgently so that we ladies can travel with peace in our mind.

                        Dear Sir,

                        We passengers of Bus Route No. 332 (Andheri to Kurla) are daily facing problem of waiting for the bus for more then 30 Mins to 45 Mins and some times 1 Hour too. And this has become a daily issue. We use to keep on complaining about this issue daily at Andheri East bus depot, but they always provides the answer by saying sometimes that they do not have enough staff for that route or some time says that there is lot of traffic on that route, Even the big officers wearing white uniform says that “tell passengers to by the pass of Rs. 350 or of Rs. 450 and travel by doing break journey to reach to their destination”, which we do not required at all as our route pass cost us just Rs. 246 only and it had been closed down because of some issue between BEST and Kaizen, then why should pay 100 to 200 Rs extra unnecessarily. Sir, but what about the passengers who do not travel daily on that route for them pass is not the solution.

                        Sir, previously this route use to have double decker buses, and that also had been closed down due to metro work, and because of that not all passengers are not able to fill up themselves in single decker bus. Officers in blue uniform says that we do not have enough conductors for route 332 bus, so other route conductors do not know what fare has to be punched after Saki Naka stop. Sir, double decker bus used to have two conductors, then where are all conductors went? Sir, we some people are working on daily wages, and if we reach late at our respective places then some peoples half day salary is been deducted, which is not affordable.

                        Sir, the place where 332 bus starts is placed at Andheri East station is also 24 Hours remains dirty, at that place even BEST staff do not wants to stand as it stinks 24 hours and is full of dirty water which is never been cleaned up. It becomes very dangerous and harmful to out health to stand at that bus stop because any body standing there may catch any kind if diseases.

                        Sir, while waiting for the 332 bus we had observed that there are lots of buses for Route No. 340 and Route No. 415, which becomes very easy for them to move and to reach to their destination on time. Sir, this is a request from all undersigned passengers and also from the others who daily faces this problem, to increase the facility of 332 buses, so that it resolves our daily problem and waiting time becomes less and also request you to start double decker bus for same route so that all passengers can take its advantage and reach their destination easily.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I do travel by AS-551 regularly. I stay at Vashi, sector 29 and work in seepz, andheri. The timing of this bus is very odd in the morning especially from 8.30 am to 10 am. I was waiting for 45 mins from 9 am to 9.45 am at sector 28 bus stop on 1st sept 2010. I took a rikshaw to St. Lawrence bus stop and got normal bus at 10.15 am

                          Lot of people travel from Vashi to Marol by this bus on week days. Also I would suggest to skip the route of Vashi stn to Koper khairane via APMC market atleast from 8 to 10 am. Also who would like to go to Vashi stn from Koper khairane, un-necessarily it takes time to vashi stn, since there are very few people or mostly no one takes this bus from APMC market to vashi stn.

                          I have one suggestion for Best bus to start new bus from Vashi stn to marol via eastern express highway skipping APMC route.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am a regular passenger of the 299 bus, which is from the borivali station (east) to Rushivan. This is to bring to your notice that the frequency of this route is very bad in the evening, which coming back home.
                              Yesterday (2nd September, 2010), i had to wait for 45 minutes to get unto this bus and this is not the first time that this has happened. This is regular feature in this route.
                              The bus that arrived 45 minutes late beared the number MH - 5158 . I asked the conducter about the delay, for which he opted not to reply at all. This happened at the bus which arrived outside the sattion at about 10:15 p.m and i was waiting at the bus stop from 9:30 onwards.
                              Kindly look into this matter and try and make sure that the passengers of this route are not harresed to this extent again.

                              BEST Bus, Mumbai — Inadequate Bus Service

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am retired person, aged 72 years travelling daily to Bhandup (West) from Waghbil Naka, Thane. Based on existing BEST service which i am getting is cumbersome as i will have to change the BUS at Teen Haat Naka. You may appreciate the fact the Teen Haat Naka is very wide and get always hited by traffic jams. Infact in the night you cannot afford to cross the roads due to heavy traffic. Infact many times god has saved my life while crossing the roads. I therefore humbly request you to start one direct bus either from Vikhroli (West) or Mangat Ram Petrol Pump to Thane Ghondbunder (Kasar Vadavali), i will be very much thankful to you. Infact i am sure that the route will be profitable to the orgainsation also as many commuters are travelling through break journey which i check personally.

                                I boarded the bus MH 01 AP 0728 today at Gokuldham. We generally have the same crowd in the bus everyday ( around 8 am) there is this old man who boards at Oberoi woods. Today the old man got late he had crossed the road and tapped the bus ( near the drivers window) and aasked him to wait so that he could cross over and board it. The bus driver waited for him to cross over and when the old man was just about to reach the front door, he brushed past him in speed....is this human , if he din't wnat him to board in the first place, then he should not have waited for him to cross over from the front of the bus and come on the other side, and secondly what was he waiting for only to show the poor old man how helpless he was?? He could have got RUN OVER due to this attitude of the bus driver.

                                I am wiling to register a formal complaint if required but there has to be some action intiated. When i shouted the driver he coolly ignored me.....and as ususl nobody in mumbai really cares about a life ..so all were quite and arried on with their lives

                                BEST Bus drivers — Rash Driving putting all passengers and on road pedestrians and vehicles to risk of life and death

                                Morning 10:35 a.m. of 05 Sep 2009, on thane belapur road, in front of Reliance corporate part, Gate A, bus travelling from vashi side towards thane, bearing no. MH 01 L 8366.

                                Situation is vehicles and pedestrians are waiting to cross the higway to the other side. Just when they started crossing the highway from one side to the other side, this BEST bus (spoiling the meaning of "best"), thsi bus driver speeds up rushes in towards the crossers, having less distance, and yet not slowing down, he rummaged into the extreme left side of the road on to the pavement side to avoid collison with vehciles and in turn putting to risk between life and death, the pedestrians waiting to cross the road as well the passengers.
                                Even a slight miss would have only resulted in such a collosal damage to life and property such that it would have made news of creating history.
                                Luck would have it - nothing happended.
                                But doesnt the authorities in the BEST do anything at all regarding the reckless driving or are they just interested in just the salaries not bothered about the other people.
                                Dont the officers and staff members including the drivers just ever think that not only are they themselves putting to risk of life and death but also other people who may also be their owne relatives in some way of the other? when will they start behaving humanly?
                                God only help.
                                Have noticed all complaints are only turned to a deaf ears and the trend of reckless driving continues.

                                Anyway have put it here to make aware of the people on road pedestrians and drivers - now start to look out for such mistakes by the BEST drivers if you value you own life.

                                SAVE YOUR LIFE from such BEST drivers.

                                  I am a regular passenger of Best, traveling everyday from Portuguese Church to Bandra Lilavati stop. Bus No. 86 timings are irregular & not fix so I change a bus in between. Today on 31st August I was standing at Sitladevi stop Opp post office & Bus No. 86 passed at 9.55 which did not stop at the Bus stop, I could not see the vehicle No on the Bus it was raining heavily & bus was not crowded at all. there was one police van at the left side & bus was in the second line he went fast from the second line. without any fault I got late to the office. who is responsible for that? we are paying for our tickets and nobody is doing any obligations. I would like to request the authorities to take a action on both driver & conductor and make them realize the mistake they have done. Hope for a favorable reply and such incidents should not occur in future.
                                  This is very much great and hope fully nice blog. Every body can easily found her need able information. I am visit first time but I fond many use full article. I will back again when get time.

                                    A best bus driver Tag no.[protected] written under the number) first blew up the side mirror of my car and then banged into the car yet again ON PURPOSE. i was in the second lane . He was in the third. And he had to take a right. and i had to go straight. And he did that in an attempt to change the lane. Im so close to shooting dead all the best bus drivers. They think no end of themselves. The worst part is that there is absolutely nothing anyone can do.

                                      There was no bus available to L&T Infotech(Mahape) and we appreciate that BEST made efforts to start a bus directly from Mulund to L&T Infotech.
                                      Bus No:514
                                      its been nearly 2 months but still there is no availability of buses in morning(especially between 8 to 9) i.e. peak hours of office timings.
                                      We have been telling this to every conductor we meet in morning or evening but they give an answer that 'Buses are not available in Depo' and sometimes we hear that 'driver/conductor are not present at that time'.
                                      Please consider this request and kindly help us since we have very less options and it becomes quite unmanageable for all o[censored]s to reach office on time.

                                      B.E.S.T — less frequency

                                      bus no 42 is very less in frequency, which the people mostly use for travelling from SANDHURST ROAD to khetwadi or other places .the frequency is so less that after the first bus is gone the arrival of the second bus is after 45 mins or sometimes even more
                                      please take necessary action against this complaint, as it will proof very benefical to others too.

                                      Bus no. 445(RCF colony to Agarkar chouk) schedule has been change from 01/03/2010. The buses are very less at the morning rush hours from 7.30a.m to 9.30a.m. Kindly reschedule the timing for passangers convinience. Thee earlier schedule was ok for the time. Kindly do the needful.                                       This is to kindly inform that Gaikwad Nagar BEST depo Malavni Malad(W), does not have any queue system, people rush like animals pushing & neglecting children & elderly people, when we informed the authorities they lay off their hands telling us that people here do not have civic sense,
                                      No other depo have i ever seen such a pathetic situation.
                                      Yes.absolutely true.I travelled by 514 from airoli to m.p.chowk(bus comes between 9.10 to 9.15.This has been observed that bus driver driving bus very slowly.When there is no vehicles around then also he is driving slolwly.As might be if he reached late he can have minimum rounds which reduce his work. But because of this all suffers. Action has to be taken against this.

                                      There are less buses & drivers are behaving like this.Services has to be improve for 514.
