I am Stay In Govandi. Everyday I used To Travel By The Bus. In Mumbai Everyday Passengers Are Increasing But Bus Frequencies Are Too Decrease. I am Travelling From Govandi MAHADA(Gautam nagar) To GHAKOPAR PIPELINE. in MAHADA bus Stop No BUS Drivers Are Stopping The Bus In The Stop. I am Requesting To u That Plse. Prvide good service.

BEST — BUS No 459 is not stopping at IIT POWAI

Hi ,

The bus 459Ltd is not stoping at Powai stop the one which is infront of MTLN office (near bhavani towers).Though the bus was not that croweded from two days driver are not stoping at the stop.
My complaint is similar to Imran's complaint, and
...I want BEST org. to take action on this, by giving memos to

such bus drivers, because they don't care about how

"COMMON MAN IS SUFFERING" ! and

"PEOPLE GET LET MARKS COZ OF THEIR MISTAKES"

but the driver did not stop at Bhavan's college stop, and kept going

on and I had to leave the Bus while it was running at the speed of 20kms/hr.
Can any one help me to know where I can reguest to increase the frequency of the bus route 422 morning I take 710 bus from siccor palace Khar(W) to reach Powai Panchkutir stop its take appox 45 mint to reach but if I mis the bus then the later bus comes afteer 7.30 then its too late same with the route when comming back in the evening that time the buses are so irregullar that 1 bus follow the other bus immeditatey & the croud is pathetic for any woman to travel in such crouded bus is next to impossible I would request you start with more buses or start some special bus for ladies in this route as this route mainly covers the mulund station, Bhandup, Kanjurmarg, Powai IIT Hiranandani gardens, Powai Lake, Saki naka, Marol, JB nagar, chakala, Anderi bridge, Irla, Vileparle Santcruz Khar Bandra, there are so many lady commuter travelling everyday I dont think that BEST would run in losses if fw more bus are started in this route hope this suggestion is condidere by someone & provide their helping hands on the same so the commuters in 422 route have relief from the pain they are suffering now
I am Hitesh Kahndelwal working in a company in MIllenium Businee Park(Ghansoli).I am a daily travelller from Borivali to MBP by AS-700.
But this bus drops me at Thane(E) and from there I catch a train for ghansoli and again from Ghansoli Stn I catch a 525 Bus service for MBP. It takes apprx 2 hours 15 minutes daily journey for me. I talked to so many people in my bus. They also have to follow the same route.

My request is to start a bus from Borivali to MBP, then I think It could be beneficial for so many people who have to go MBP. As u know MBP, kopar Khairane, Airoli, Belapur Road, Rabale is private companies HUB. So It could be an advantage people who live in Western Suburbs(Borivali, Dahisar, Mira Road). Definitely A direct bus service will reduce our Journey time

The route you can look upon as:
Borivali Stn (E) ---- Dahisar Check naka ---- Ghodbunder road ---- Majiwada ---- Eastern Express Highway ---- Mulund Airoli Flyover ---- Airoli Village--- MBP.


This service can be benefical for people who live near to Borivali, Magathane, Dahisar, kashimira

Otherwise there is one more option You can look upon to
Please extend some services of AS-525 till Borivali stn (E) atleast in peak hours. in morning 7.30 am-9.00 am and in evening 6PM - 8 PM.
There are already two AC bus services from Dindoshi to MBP AS-525 & NMMT 123 bus servie and an ordinary bus service 525 and 523.
Definitely It could give the advantage to people who live near to borivali (E), Dahisar, Malad, Kandivali.
Atleast start some trial bus services I assure U, U will get a huge response with this service.

mumbai best buses — Lack of sensitivity

I travel in BEST bus almost 2.5 hrs everyday. Display tv on the bus repeatedly play 5-6 ads all the time. It is the most insensitive move of the government. It is complete lack of maturity.

I would like to bring this to the notice of any concerned authority who can take action against the below issue.

Our BEST bus drivers and conductors are just not honest to their job and not sensitive to the public. Very often I see the bus stop fully crowded and an empty bus just stopping for half a second, few meters away from the bus stop, and in the middle of the road while the public is trying to get into the bus and the bus just moves people still trying to get in and the bus still empty.

This is quite a disturbing scene, to see ladies, children, senior citezens struggling to get into the bus and the driver and the conductor just not being sensitive enough to just stop for some time till the public gets in while the BUS IS EMPTY.

This is a serious concern and a quite common scene and i request you to kindly address this issue.

This complain is regarding the 459 bus service, I travel by this bus daily, this bus is from Malwani Depot Malad to Mulund, and the bus is always crowded, they have started 459 from Marol depot which should have been useful for public, but its just not helpful, I have always notice the bus driver driving the bus so slowly both the morning as well as evening, and all other buses and vehicles over taking the bus and going ahead. This effects the people who have to reach office or home on time, when we ask the conductor or the driver, they just do not answer properly and make noise and speak so rudely as if we are wrong, If there's traffic its understood, but if the road is clear then why are we facing this problem.
These 459 bus drivers (Malwani Depot to Mulund) drive so roughly, they r just not bothered about people in the bus. They don’t even stop at the bus stop, its very difficult for ladies, children to enter the bus, there are times when people fall as people are unable to enter or climb the bus. This is just not acceptable, why can't we have better bus service? This is a serious concern I request you to kindly address this issue.
my name is dilip gopale. living at madh island .i am working with abn technologies pvt.ltd. and also collage student .i daily used to travel by bus no : 271 from madh island to malad station . my complaint is regarding frequency of bus no 271 .in night time during 7.30 to 10.30 pm there is always very low frequency of bus no : 271 .i dont know what is problem????? drivers are always complaining about traffic but between madh jetty to malad station there is only 1 signal which is not more than 5 minutes .
during that particular time bus always take more that 1/2 to come on bus stand . and next to 271 bus stop there is bus no 273 stop which comes more than 2 times in 5 minutes
so that's not justice
dat means they are human and what we are?????????
plz take quick actions against it ??????
This is to inform you that we are struggling for the BEST bus from Golf Club Chembur between 5 pm to 7pm Bus No.367, 361, 369 to Kurla station for last 15 days because of mono rail work but at the same time we request you to make some alternate arrangement either to increase the bus or instruct the divers to stop the bus at Golf Club stop chembur because we find many a times the buses are not at all stoping this stop. we are waiting for buses 30 minutes, buses are not stoping at the bus stop then again we have to wait another 30 minutes for another bus to come.

please do realise our difficult and help us from this kind of situation.

Mumbai BEST Bus — Taking few commuters

BEST buses are the integral part of the Mumbai city .....and if this does not work properly people will suffer ultimately......whatever situation is eventually "PUBLIC SUFFER" !

I travel from Andheri station to Bhavan's college daily .......today[protected] BUS No.249 (MH-01-la-6459)at 09:05 a.m. came on the stop took few passengers and ran away by avoiding remaining passengers. This makes no sense.......Bus is stopping but avoiding people to enter.

when i asked the conductor why he couldn't stop the bus at the bus stop ,he said ,"then how people got inside ,and so much rush is their if bus did not stop ....." Height of Arrogance......!

Kindly take actions against these conductor and bus driver as they were careless at their work

Why is the common man at the mercy of BEST...Why do we have to BEG to these people to do something that THEY ought to do... And are there any guidelines for the ticket collectors..Or is it they can fine anyone whenever they wish to???

BEST bus Mumbai City — Arrogant behavior - BEST Service - Conductors, Drivers & ATO

Arrogant behavior

In morning, many BEST buses reunning on route no. 351, 165 from Sion to Mahalaxmi. The bus driver purpersly goes slow even though no traffic problem occure on this road in morning. Many of the time Conductors, Drivers & ATO given reason that they will reach at their place on decided time only not before that, but in this situation passenger face problem and they can't reach on decided place or on duty on his time because of slow driving. Many of the times Conductors, Drivers & ATO doing only time pass because they don't want to reach BEST BUS before scheduled destination time and nothing doing anything if any passenger complaint abouot the same. Sometimes they reply very arrogantly. They says, we are part of goverment and we will do only what we want. Nobody can do anything against us.

I personly requested respective person please look into the matter to avoid unnecessary clashes.

BEST — Bus driver looking back and driving

To whom so ever it may concern,

Yesterday at the Sector - 14 bus stop at around 7.55 am, two BEST buses approached the stop one after the other. First one was 513 and second one was 501. Since i have to travel to Chembur Diamond garden, I started waving out to the 501. But the driver as many a time decided to take the first lane and skip the stop. So i went to the middle of the second lane and waved out to the driver right from the middle of the flowing traffic as it was necessary for me to catch the bus. But to my surprise, the driver was not ignring me but looking back and driving - and that too for a duration of 2 - 3 seconds.

This is dangerous... Please make a note of it and react.

Complain that BEST TV Add and programme running same all time and volume of that is creating problem for long journy. It is ragging on passenger that same time of adds and programme have to see and listen.
Please stop the service or provide alternative to stop the service or making volume off if not need or passanger request.

Or provide alternative way where all pasegnger complin against it and stop it permanantly basis.

Congraluations for being appointed as the General Manager of the BEST.

i am a passager using the BEST services since the time I have learn to travel since 35 yrs and was happy to travel around Bombay. I am happy that the BEST has provided new buses with the wide doors and the resently with reserving 1st 6 seats on the right hand side for the ladeis and the Ladies Special bues running between Kurla Stn (W) and Andher Stn (E).

I have read online that BEST has got an santion of Rs.205.75 crore for introuding additonal 700 buses. Its a very good idea of adding new buses. But like to bring to your kind notice that buses frequency is not so bad but the only problem is during the peak hours time buses are not halted at the bus stops and this creates a ceaos at the bus stop. Men get into the running bus and the ladies are left standing at the bus stop for hours. Recently since last two months I have to travel on the Andheri Kurla Road due to change in job location and have noticed that buses do not halt and the KURAL KAMANI Bus stop during peak hours time between 9 am to 10 am. Especially Bus no.365 & 308 their fequency is bad and these Drivers and Conductors dont halt the buses. There are no other buses from Kurla going to the Internation Airport. If we asked them why the buses are not halted they give a rude answer eg. make complain to the CM and so on. Is this the way to behave with the passanger who have to report on duty on time

Since have to wait on the Bus stop for hours like to make a suggestion. I think the BEST can afford to place atleast one TC at a Bus stop so that action can be taken against such Drivers and Conductors.

Request you to please taken some action on this matter and oblige.

Today(11.9.2010)I, alongwith my mother had the misfortune of travelling in AC bus no.505 from Vashi, APMC Market between 3.30-4pm. Our destination was Bandra(W).As soon as we got into the bus, the conductor complained that we need to show our hands inorder ensure that the bus stops at the stand.

When he came towards us, I asked him what did he mean by saying that and wasn’t it the driver’s responsibility to halt anyways.This triggered an argument.He argued with me asking if something was wrong with my head and why was I being angry at him, when all I asked was what did he mean by whatever he said. Did he argue because we were women and the only ones in the bus? I doubt he would have spoken the way he did if it were men who boarded the bus.Later, after taking the left turn from Kalanagar, the driver’s sudden brake threw my mother off her seat to the seat opposite to hers. The conductor then had the audacity to tell the driver that Mahatari padli (Old woman fell) and he repeated the same thing again, maybe with the intention of getting us provoked or maybe he thought we won’t understand Marathi. We kept quiet and didn’t say a word, though we extremely upset by the whole thing. When our stop arrived, the driver refused to open the door fully for us(only my mother and I was getting off at Bandra Station), giving an excuse that the door got jammed and refused to even try pushing the button, which obviously put me off. I asked the driver how is that when the earlier passengers had to get in and get out, nothing of this sort happened? He obviously had nothing to say. The conductor again started arguing. We exchanged few heated words. He did get personal, and yelled at me asking if I had mirchi(chilli) in my head.I hope you will agree with me when I say that such behaviour from them was anything but professional.I urge that action be taken and measures so that nothing of this sort happens with other passengers.

BEST bus complaint — Increase bus service No. 341

Please increase the bus services from CGS to Dindoshi bus depot Bus No. 341, The frquency of these buses is very poor (almost 1 bus per hour). It would make it convenient for a lot of people if you would do the needful.

there is no information of stop in best buses conductor is always busy in given ticket, pls install indicator to display name of stoppage, after paying the ticket amount legally, we have to pay fine of ticketchecker, because we dont now which stop will come after crossing the stop, ticket checker force us to pay amount
My complaint is totally different from this, The ticket checker arrived in the bus While i was travelling in the bus from andheri to jogeshwari. I was not aware that my pass is expired by one day. As there was written Jan 11, i was in imagination that pass will be expired on feb 11, But the ticket checker recognised the same & asked me to pay rs. 77 for the same & also taken my go card away, saying that i will get it from bus depot on monday. But when i reached in bus depot, i could not get it from the bus depot as it was not submitted there. Depot officer told me to dial the same ticket checker but the number is also wrong it seems. The lady who is sitted on the seat of Card is also very arrogand. Pls take action with the person who are not at all useful for the customers help. The Bus is said as for "Lok Seva" but it seems it is not true at all. They are just to harras the customers who are travelling by the same.

Best Bus No 85 — Dont stop

This is to inform you that Bus route no. 85. MHO1, LA 5860. (time 7.10am)never stop at the KALANIKETAN stop. Even thouht the public are standing even after showing our hand they never stop. But why we have to show our hand to make them stop, it's their duty to stop at each and every stop. And they stop the bus far from the stop. On Tuesday 8th March 2011 he stop near the Opera house bus stop when no was standing at the stop were he waited there for 2mins and when there are public standing they never stop.

IGET DOWN AT HANDLOOM HOUSE BUS STOPE WHERE TWO TC ASKED ME ABOUT TICKET WHICH I WAS NOT PURCHASED THE TC NAME ISS.PAWAR NO 185076 AND E THAPE NO IS 181272 AND THEY DEMAND RS 600 FOR PENALTY BUT I TOLD THEM THAT ON WHICH GROUND THEY ARE DEMANDING SO MUCH AMOUNT THEY DIDN'T GAVE SUTISFY ANSWER THEN THEY SAID OK GIVE RS 177, SO IGAVE THEM RS 177 ON BEHALF THEY ISSED RESEIPT NO 5395 OF ONLY RS 77 AFTER RECIEVE MONEY ANOTHER TC DEMANDED SAME AMOUNT FROM ME SO I GAVE HIM ALSO RS177 AND THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER RECIEPT NO2854. SO IWANT TO KNOW THE CORRECT PENALTY CHARGE AND HOW CAN THEY CHARGE TWO TIMES FROM SINGLE PERSON? I THINK THAT DEPARTMENT WILL DO THE NEEDFULL IN THIS MATTER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

Around at 9:45am from Marol Naka i got into the bus. Bus no: 290 / MH-01 LA - 5765 It started from Marol Maroshi Depo . & that bus is going to Poisar. I had a complaint of that bus Diver thats while he was driveing he was completely sleeping. He was driving too slow. I saw him he was sleeping. He is still on his way.

Please take some action against him. Because morning time we are all in rush to reach in our offices. If we go early from our home there is no use. coz dirvers are divering slow.

I leave in Kurla Nehru nagar, d most haunted place in Mumbai, for females, now.
Today 2/04/2011, I travelled by 361 best bus, at 12.50 afternoon n oftently has to travel, for school purpose, each n everytime d driver, n conductor, say 80%, are bad mannered, they dont know how to speak to older ones, to females, they use the shabbiest language. What are dey trying to show, as dey were Govn servant, they can take advantage, and misbehave, with, the passengers.
This is culture of India, not at all, mannnners they have. they behave like beggars are there in buses. The conductor asked me change, I gave, he says le aage jaa, wen I told tameez se baat karo, he says ghar me kaun tere se tameez se baat kerta hai kya, aayi badi, and what rubbishly he said chal chal aage jaa, jyaada shaani mat bannn, what is this, language, he is showing he is Marathi language culture, we all studied History, abt how Shivaji, repected each n every religion, this people just c religion, and start abusing those people purposely, without any any reasons. Please its my heartly request, to take actions to such disgusting remarks made by the conductors to thier passengers. I shall be Obliged

This is to complaint against a C-60 driver. He seems really arrogant while driving, and he hardly waits for people to get into the bus. At times, could be our fault too...But he seems least interested in this Job. Not that he is bad...But least he could do is wait till, all the passengers that wanna board that bus get in at least.

I am a passenger in mumbai from Airoli Sector -4 to Patni Computer System Airoli.For this distance ticket fare is 6 rupees per passenger in NMMT bus route number-24.The source and destination of this bus is Airoli to Thane.
Today in Bus number MH-04-1886, Route number 24(Airoli to Thane Bus).A conductor (Name is Prakash)
said me 8 rupees fare from airoli sec-4 to Patni Computer System Airoli.When i said its wrong.He used a wrong language and miss behaviour with me.
Please take a such action against him.Otherwise i will go to cunsumer court against him directly.

I am one of the daily passengers of the 31Exp. BEST bus, which goes by Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link. Along with me there are many more else commuters and my colleagues, who daily travel by 31Exp. BEST bus. We were very much thankful to the BEST for starting this particular bus on this route. But now, I sad to say that, we all are very upset by BEST decision of SHUTTING DOWN this 31 Exp. due to some loss. We came to know about this matter a few months back. And from then we have sent many request letters to BEST, not to SHUT DOWN this bus. But it seems like those letters didn't worked well.

We all are now very much used to this bus. Even we now we find each other as 31 Exp. family members including the Bus Drivers asnd Conductors. In other words its like we are now addicted to this bus. We don't want to lose this bus. It is very useful for people working town sides like us. It helps us to reach our respective places on time. It takes just 10 minutes from Bandra to Worli.

So, once again, & again & again We All Request BEST from the Bottom Of Our Heart.. that PLEASE, plz, plz... not to SHUT DOWN this 31Exp. Bus.
ALL THE OTHER BEST buses COMMUTERS PLEASE SUPPORT US.

This is a complaint towards Driver with a batch no.8695 of 84 Ltd Bus.I boarded the bus from Santacruz Depot at 9.40am and this person was comparatively very slow in driving the bus thats Ok but when the Worli Naka signal came the bus was caught in traffic, this person at that time got a call on his cell so he received it after he was talking for 5mins the signal started but this person would not drive the bus so I intervened as I had to get down on the next stop and it was getting late to reach office.I just told him to cross the signal soon so that the red light doesn't get on and we get caught again for 10mins. To my surprise he very arrogantly tells me that just keep quiet this is Maharashtra and just shut up and dont tell me what to do.Thats when I told him that I am just asking you to cross the signal in time but you are also receiving a call whilst driving this is an offence.He just back fired and said what will you do, you will complain go and do so. He then told the conductor that take a piece of paper and write my batch no. and give her I dont get frightened by people like her.I tod him that I had already seen the batch no. and I do not need it written down.He then purposely drove very slowly to the bus stop.I think what these drivers are doing is not write because they are not doing their job well and also creating racial discrimination among the passengers they are carrying.Please take some good action against him so that I do not have to go higher
This is regarding the AC Star Bus AS1 transitting from Thane (Cadbury) to Backbay Recl. Depot. Can the bus change the route. Instead of the bus waiting at Mantralaya i.e. Sachivalay Gymkhana why doesnt it pass from Nariman POint i.e.Shipping Corp. of India and then go to Backbay Recl. Depot so that people getting down at Nariman Point do not have to walk further for 10 mins. People working near Bajaj Bhavan have to walk for 10-12 mins. So kindly consider those people too. There is no AC bus for people working at Nariman POint from Thane.
Why dont you'll start a AC Bus service I mean the star bus service from Kalwa - Parsik Nagar (Thane) to Nariman Point as there are many people travelling to VT and would want to avail of this facility.Kindly consider

My complaint is why BEST drivers do "MANMANI" for stopping the bus at all the stops..They all are not ready to stopped the bus at all the bus stop.2day i faced the same situation..BEST has given permission to stopped the bus no 310 at "ANJANABAI NAGAR" stop also. but bus driver refussed the same and stopped at next stop directly at "KURLA DEPO" stop. Every time we general public suffer all the problem..

I stay in goregaon (east).I travel by bus route number 451 Adarsh nagar to goregaon stn. The Bus service is worst than bad.Every time 2/3 buses are together people get late students too hope you will listen my complaint and keep the busses on time

Bus driver mostly avoid to take passanger without seeing whether passanger safely climbed up in bus or not .when ask about him for the same he rudely reply that there is fault in bus .My questions is how u allowed to take faulty bus on road if any lady or child passanger could be falled down then who would be responsible you or driver .I want strong action other wise i go to press. First of all I would like to thank you for your unhindered services during exigencies.
We are the regular passengers of bus route no. 421 (Filterpada), we get down at Local Office Bus Stop.
We appreciate your work during the need hour.
But Since last two-three months, the frequency of 421 (filterpada to ghatkopar depot)
has been reduced considerably.
We leave our office at exact 6.00 pm, but between 6.00 – 6.30 hardly any bus comes.
We are forced to go by Rickshaw, which costs us around Rs. 60-70 per day.
We come to work from far off places like Badlapur .
We request you to kindly increase the frequency of 421 Filterpada Bus between 8.00 am to 9.00 am &
5.30 pm to 7.00 pm as most of the offices leave at this time.
We leave our home at 7.00 to reach office at 9.00.
Hope u would understand our problem & act on it promptly & immediately.
From Last one month, Everyday i wait at least 45 mins at Sakinaka Bus Stop for bus no 398 and 478, than only i m able to get bus, Otherwise i go to Dr. Datta Samant Chowk for more buses .I don't know whats happening with BEST Buses.

1> Why is number of buses getting day by day lesser?
2> Why Best Buses not coming on time?
3> Why more frequency with bus no 425 and 185, where as less frequency with 398 & 478.
4> Why Quality of Service is getting poor Day by Day?


If Best can't provide good services then they should stop providing their services, Let private Buses perform their Best Possible.

The frequency of the AC 440 buses are pathetic; ask the staff/drivers constantly the same answer there are NOT ENOUGH BUSES. However, the AC 503 buses keep plying in a timely mannger with hardly any disruption. Today I went & complained to Depot Officer - Mr. Chitke at Wadala Depot & he demanded I provide detailed information.

Here are the specifics:
1. Mon - 17 Oct.: No bus from 11am till 11:55pm.
2. Tue - 18 Oct: Again no bus from 11am till 11:50pm.
3. Wed - 19 Oct: No bus from 11am till 12:10 pm; last AC 440 left at 10:40 am (as per details from the staff)

This is ridiculous & not acceptable. Currently, there is supposed to be AC 440 after every 25min & today I've been informed this will further be increased to 35mins; additionally going forward there will be only 6 buses - as 2 are not functional. I don't understand why reduce the buses; when these buses can be repaired/replaced. At peaks hours in the morning/evening the frequency of the AC needs to be increased. Whereas, during the day its understandable the frequency is lesser.

It's high time someone looks in to this & takes necessary action. B.E.S.T. bus services & overall Mumbai public transport used to pride themseleves with best transport facility; but off late unfortunately its horrendous an experience.

But dont know why these people cancel Bus Stops without intimation.
every day i travel by bus from charkop to vitbatti & only 2 buses for that 226 & 464
but the bus drivers never stop at bus stop purposely ask female passanger to get down at mid of highway

BEST Bus — BEST BUS NO 226, 464

I am regular traveling by Best Bus no. 226, 464 between GORAI to Goregaon Checknaka.
Some of Drive didnt stop bus at - Goregaon Checknaka & Gen.A.K.Vaidya Marg Junction, Alway they took flyover...
drop us at corner of flyover start.
Sir I am residing at Goregaon (west) amd working at powai. The buses 469 starting from Oshiwara and 479 from Goregaon station are very useful to me and my friends who take the bus from Filmsthan to powai. But the problem is the frequency for these buses are very less. Both the buses come together always. For example after 7.55 a.m there will be no buses till 8.30 a.m If they are kind enough to start these buses leaving a gap of 15 minutes that will be very useful to us. For example if 479 bus comes at 8 a.m, then 469 can be started after 15 minutes, we agree both the buses start from different places and destinations are also different. It is our humble request that pl increase frequence of these buses and oblige.

This is one such problem that each and every one in this city face and its turning out in a huge factor.Recently the mtc has increased the fares in a huge amount as result the bus drivers dont ever follow the rules recently a bus driver (TN-01 N8735 a bus from broadway to tambaram)spoke harsh words to the passengers,and more often they dont stop in bus stands and we need to wave our hands for it just like waving a flag.Its a small issue but what if it happens each and everyday 24x7.so please take it as a big issue before you get affected by it.

There is no AC bus plying plying from this route.There is NMMT AC bus 123.But is is very crowded.Can you start a AC bus in this route or increase the frequency of 523.

Today I was travelling back from Mulund in a rickshaw with my children. At the Shangrila Biscuit Factory stop our rickshaw was almost squashed by a BEST bus No. 27. This bus was behind another BEST bus and this BEST driver of bus 27 wanted to overtake the bus in the front not allowing other vehicles to come in its. I almost got the scare of my life as I was with my little children and the driver was least bother that our rickshaw was in between his bus and another vehicle. By the grace of god he put a break. Request you to please take action against such drivers who are always dangerously overtaking or racing past other smaller vehicles. Inspite of so many accidents coming to light and the media hitting at it strongly, it does not seem that the BEST management has taken any initiative to take the drivers to task so as to prevent any future accidents happening in the future. The bus plate number is MH01 AP 0412. This incident happened at around 1:15.
Complaint Registration Sys. is good for passengers difficulties. Even I registered a complaint many times against BEST driver & Conductor. but i don't know wether they take any action against it or not. Because drivers & conductors are continuing the same attitude till today. The situation is still as it is. and Best don't provide us any feed back, that what action had been taken against the complaint. Actually they should give return feedback to complainee what action had been taken. Otherwise no use to register complaint.

Today i was travelling by BEST BUS no 302, (MHO1 ap[protected] from Pratiksha nagar to mulund.Timing is 8.10 am from Pratiksha Nagar.My complaint is Front indicator was not working of the bus its ok some time its happen but in that case Conductor is also not addressing the people that which route we are going.Second thing bus condition is very bad no one can seat on the back side of the bus.Driving is very rough, You may need to talk to drivers and conductors also to guide the people.

I would like to inform you that this complaint is regarding the bad frequencies of the bus no. 326 from Mantri Park (Shiv shahi) to Kurla / Sakinaka.

Every day people are facing the problem because of the bad frequencies. We have noticed that there are no buses between 8.00 am (morning) to 9.00 am for this route since 15 days.

So what about those people who need to reach their office by 9.00 am (morning).

Kindyl arrange the 326 buses between 8.00 am to 9.00 am from Mantri Park (Shiv Shahi) to Kurla/Sakinaka.

Would like to request you to please resolve this problem immediately.

at Morning 08:20 a.m. on 06.12.12 for office purpose (i am working in
Air India-Vigilance Department)

I travelled this bus from Dharavi T-Junction to Vakola.
Yesterday ame driver has quarreled so, today When i was boarding in the bus driver run the bus. suddenly, i run & take this bus from signal.

I asked Bus driver & conductor why did u run the bus when passenger are
boarding in the bus both are use to me very bad language - "Chal Chal uttar khali. Tu kai aamch vakad karnar aahes. Tu parart hyach bus madhye
chadnar aahes na. Udya bhagun gheu tula. Tula chadhun deto ka bhag."

It happens two time with same driver & same conductor. They are very rude.

Pls take action immediately.

I am regular traveler of bus 494 from parsiknagar kalwa to johnson & johnson stop at mulund in both side journeys. But the bus timings are very inconsistent especially at evening times.

I usually wait for 6.40 pm bus at johnson & johnson stop at mulund but bus either gets late till 7 or sometimes leaves early by 6.20. next bus is scheduled at 7.20 pm but even that's too crowded so they don't stop bus.

Most of the time travelers suffer as bus conductors cancel the bus due to unknown reasons.Especially women get affected more in evening times and get late to reach home as it's only bus connected to kalwa-parsiknagar.

I strongly demand strict action on these delays and sudden cancellation of bus. There should be more frequency of buses in peak hours.

the frequency of bus no.341 leaving from goregaon east station in the morning was within every 10 minutes, however now a days the bus is not following any particular timings and the frequency is only after half an hour. will anybody please request the best bus to increase the frequency of the bus for atleast within 20 minutes. due the big time gap, there is always rush in the buses and people reach late to their offices. one cannot travel in an auto wherein we have to shell out 100 bucks only to reach mittal indl. estate at andheri east.

On 23.05.2013 evening at 7.05 p.m. I along with one of my friends & other people was crossing the road ( Ghodbunder road ) at R Mall bus stop, Thane. Also I would like to mention that I & my friend were crossing the road from the Zebra crossing patch, and in the meanwhile Bus G8130 moved from the opposite stop, I showed him signal by hand to stop or slow down but he intentionally speede up & we were saved from getting hit by a fraction of a second. Earlier also I have observed the rash driving by the BEST bus drivers & taking the bus, almost brushing against people, especially females while nearing any bus stop. My son catching bus NO 281 morning 06.25 am from Pushpapark Malad East to Charkop Hanuman Mandir for go to IES school. If bus not come on time 06.25am at pushpa park my son get late for school. Yesterday bus No 281 not came morning 06.25 am at Pushpark . He waited till 06.50 bus no 281 and 460 . Both bus not arrived, then he took rickshaw and went to school. Same situation happen one week before also . In the morning so many children are there go to school by bus, if bus delayed they are getting late at school. So I request you to take necessary action.

459 bus from Malad to mulund is too much crowded in morning time slot 8 am to 10 am . Bus starts from Malvani Depot and till it reaches Malvani No 1 stop it is so much crowded that it is very difficult for ladies to get into such such crowded bus.We cant even leave the bus as another bus wil come after 30 mins and we have to reach office in time.

This mail is regarding to restart a double decker bus services again in Bombay street, where London with thin population can continoued so why can't we ? i am a true lover of Bombay best red buses would like to see more buses with double on the street.

Sir in terms of passenger we have much more population to cater double decker on the street + we can convert single in to double for road space planning/decongestant. Eg: 154 in 5 to 10 minute frequency we see 2 to 3 buses out of 3 only 1&half were croweded nd & 1& half empty. This is called loss. When you roll out 154 double decker in 10min number of passenger carried by 3 single decker in that particular time will be carried by double decker called profit. you can save your 2driver, & 1conductor.

there are many route Eg : can be amalgamate route no 351 & 357 both ply till Bombay central from shivaji nager /BARC tata power station. how we can utilise such route with DD buses for making space on the road, convert this in to double decker with amalgamte number 351 in to 124 & 357 in to 125 extend from both the side of Bombay central. instead of 124 colabal to worli make it into shivaji nager & navy nagar to worli village makie it in to shivaji nager. really healp the traffic and passenger to joy the ride.

Pl look in to this if you like the idea pl implement and have few more route to do the same.

Today the 26th July 2014, I took a 374 Ltd bus from Gujarat Society Vile Parle East to go to Acharya Udhyan, Chembur at 9-30 AM. Despite the peak hour traffic, the bus reached Acharya Udyan in about 45 minutes by the new SCLR route which is very good and much faster than the earlier route via Rani Laxmibhai Chowk.

However, my return journey experience was very bad as it took more than one hour on the same route. I took the 374 Ltd bus at 1 PM from Acharya Chowk and there was not much traffic at that time. The driver was purposely going slow between 20 to 25 KMPH speed even on clear roads. When the bus reached Kalina, I asked the driver whether there was anything wrong with the bus, he immediately started speeding which means that he was purposely driving slow. My ticket No was 188071.

He also picked up many passengers en route in between stops who were pass holders and I am not sure whether they were BEST staff.

BEST must ensure that at least on long routes, the buses should have young and experienced drivers who can make the travel a pleasure.

Today (28.07.2014) I am travelling in BEST bus No. 545 Bhandup to Seepz Bus No.MH.01 L9683. I was suffering by conductor. I have given him 20rs. & my ticket was 15rs. He asked me to give change 5rs.I told him i don, t have then he shouted at me & argued. & this happens in three times with this conductor only. I thing conductor should have change. & if he don't have, he can say honestly that he will give me later. But he didn't do that going to shouted at me. I am lady so can't reanswerd to him. & Then he gave me 5rs. but too argueing. Please tell him to behave properly with passengers.

With a end of patience, I m writing below complain.

I used to teavel from Borivali East to Thane Bus.no. 700

But there is lot of problems.

1. Frequency of non AC bus is very low

2. Timing of non AC bus not fixed.

3. There is hardly place to stand and walk at bus stop and footpath.l

4.All non ac buses coming from magathane, so at borivali it s totally full.

. There are lot of AC buses for same route.

700-BEST, 65- TMT, 131-NMT with different and high tickit range, which common man can not afford. And even with few passanger AC buses are moving, but for non AC there is lot of crowd but no bus. Is it fare.

5. The behavior of BEST superwiser and some times coductors and drivers is not good toward passanger.

please note : all above things applicable from Thane to Borivali route as well.


I hope it will sort it out soon to be best in future.

my name is Roland Patrao it is found that many of your best drivers From kurla, deonar, and govandhi depot are doing dull day dutys in st gregorious school ghatla village, and also st gregorios school near k star mall.diamond garden, if they drive best buses how can they driver private buses for full time eg, 6.30 to 8.00am ...11.30 to 3.15 pm after that school duty are they capable of driving your B E S T buses, it is unsafe as it is very dangerous as this drivers work for almost 18 to 19 hours a day without sleep. please see into this matter and i[censored] want any help u can call me on [protected] or [protected]...

I stay in Charkop Kandivali. Today a BEST bus driver brushed against my car for no reason. The Bus no was 244 going from Borivali to Kandivali station. The incident happend at Sec 5 charkop at around 12.35 pmm. The bus reached jaiganga bus stop at about 12.40. I could not note d vehicle no. But want the driver of this bus to be tracked and notified.
Yesterday evening by 1745 hrs, I took bus from four bunglows to aadarsh nagar( Bus number is 234)
I took the bus and the bus driver had started bus without seeing properly.
i hurt on my foot and its swelling on my foot and on top i am limping.
You have to take an action or else i will take a legal action to that bus driver of 234.
I hurt very badly and i am really unable to walk.
no any legal action taken against regarding of any such issue. it's totally wrong way of public on this site. you can observed not and reply given from any... so it's totally wastage of public time.

please note today morning 10.00 am i observed that bus no. 57 ( bus no MH01 LA 6346 ) towards shri. P. THakare Udhyan is not stopping at halfkin stop after i was signaled by up my hands with verbal request to DRIVER on athoried bus stop, exact location one which is below of mono rail station, Parel village.Though the bus was not so crowded, simply driver was not looking at stoping customer on the stop. i catch next bus 134 and inform this matter to gentlemen conductor too.

Request to concern higher authority to take action on this by giving strong memo to such type of irresponsible activity on the public duty,

"PEOPLE GET LET on their duties because of their such type of mistakes"

    This is to bring to your notice that the BEST bus no 523, starting from Airli Depot came late at 8:50 which was supposed to come at 8:25.And when it was supposed to stop at seepz the driver took the flyover bridge and took the bus on the jogeshwari link road.When we asked for an explaination the conductor told that there was a traffic on the road so he took the flyover bridge.We told that at least he should intimate us before taking such decision.This decision when was questioned the conductor (5481) started talking in rude behaviour with us.He started arguing with us( continuing his rude behaviour )ans he told us that he told us to get down on the Jogeswari flyover.He was not at all bothered about his behaviour when we told him that he should be polite and should have stopped bus at BEST stop instead of any spot he desired. The BEST BUS Details are mentioned below:

    COMMUTES BETWEEN: Airoli DEPOT - Dindhoshi depot

    TIMING: LEFT THE airoli DEPOT AT 8.50PM

    The sad part is that conductor didnt pay any heed & didnt even apologized on his behaviour instead his tone was very loud & his language was harsh & abusive.this could have happened to anyone and it took extra 15 minutes to come at seepz stop for getting a bus for station.

      Dear Sir,
      We are victims of BEST Bus Drivers and Bus Conductors brutal behavior.
      Introducing to you, I’m Harmit Panesar from Mumbai. I always leave my office by 10:00pm and reach bus stop to catch bus at 10:30pm. I often change my bus from Jogeshwari/ Dindoshi/ Thakur Complex etc.
      I want to highlight a recent event that I witnessed on 24th Sep 09s Bus Number: MH 01 6729, running from Dindoshi and Bhayender 708 around 11:20pm.
      I boarded this bus from Thakkur Complex, Kandivali, Mumbai around 11:20pm. I was at seat. After few bus stops we were about to reach Ratan Nagar, but as usual the bus driver didn’t halt at that stop (especially at night; after 10-11 they don’t halt easily SIR). As frequency is at less this time, one of the passenger chase the running bus for a while and happen to get into it.
      As expected he started debating with the Bus Conductor for not stopping the Bus. I was astonish to see that the Bus Conductor had given him all kind of bad words and cursed him like hell. When passenger said that you better take this bus to police station, Conductor replied that we are Government employees and Police men cannot put us in fault.
      This debate continued….
      Latter we crossed Dahisar Chechnaka. Now the Bus was passing through the Check Naka Police Station where suddenly the Bus Conductor started to hit that passenger. Coz of Government delicacy, he didn’t hit back. But the Bus Conductor continued beating him and had through him out of the Bus. There were Police Men also who didn’t take any action. Sir, Bus Conductor had a good time in beating him and was commenting inside the bus that they have power.
      I sincerely want you to look into this matter. As it’s often at night where they don’t halt at respective Bus Stop, before the passenger boards the bus – the start driving, misbehavior of Bus Conductors, rash driving, breaks signal guidelines etc.
      We will definitely appreciate on the necessary actions taken by you as we want to use BEST BUS regularly.

        I am a resident of malad west and daily takes bus from malad station to my residence & back at mith chowky.most of the buses which ply are from malvani depot.Lately BEST has started running on this route old buses which have been discarded from Mumbai City Routes.

        These buses are large in size but have narrow corrdors due to which even two people cannot stand next to each other anad only one standing line is possible adding up to the woes already faced by us due to extreme rush.Pls udnerstand the position of LADIES AND OLD PERSONS.

        Are we not human beings that old buses are introdueced in our rourtes.use it in posh area like peddar road,warden road,etc.why not .because rich people stay there and there will be a uproar.Also Roads are congested due to heavy traffic and these large buses add up to the problem.the space to get down is also narrow. Thus the already affected frequency of buses is still more affected.

        pls immediately have these buses removed from our route as it is causing lot of inconviencen to passengers.i am ready to meet the top brass of BEST.

          I have spoke to Mr. Vijay Bodkar regarding the stop which is there but not shown in your system due to this 1 of my collegue pass had been taken by the conductor of 224 bus her pass no is 40040809 as there is a stop anyway if we buy ticket from this stop or from mithibahi the cost is same rs.6/ as the fare is same to pass fare will be also same so please look into the matter and do the needful

          Note :- As my collegue had already taken pass and now why she should buy a ticket when she had already paid for the same so I request to please do the needfull and send some SMS on her mobile no [protected] that she can produce the same arrange for the pass with no extra charge as this is your system fault not our.

          Bus no 244 conductor batch no 2749 time 15.15 from charkop market bus stop a lady passenger was not allowed to get down at her desti nation at Jaideep stop charkop sector 2 just because she was getting down from back exit even though the full bus was empty after requesting she was not allowed to get down next stop on top of that the conductor was telling her if you want to complaint go and complaint no one will take any action. this is because they know that no action will be taken aginst them. You are requested to take action against such conductors who misbehaviour with lady passenger.

            Bus # 459 moves from Malvani depot to Mulund
            and sorry to say the frequency of this bus is very poor - especially
            during peak office hours. This is the most unreliable and irregular bus I have ever
            faced in my life.

            in the morning I take bus at Charkop naka around 7.50am. Usually fm 7.50 to 8.05 am
            there are 2 buses ( both are mostly packed). Now a days, I see that fm 7.50
            to 8.20 or 8.25 there is no bus and then 2 buses come together and both of them
            are packed -- public hanging out of the bus. Why is it so that early morning- we have
            face the problem of buses? is there any shortage of buses?

            Bus problem is faced in the evening also but now atleast you have an excuse of
            TRAFFIC on road. But what about mornings?

            459 is the only bus which moves from WEST malad to East goregaon highway
            If you route bus # 359 on the 459 route ( highway route), atleast people getting
            down at Goregaon SV road, Pravasi, hub etc can comute by 359 and thereby
            the crowd of 459 will be reduced.

            U can also start 459 buses -- To and Fro - SEEPZ. this is also help to control the crowd.


            Please look into this matter urgently.

            PS : please keep the tab of bus # 273 leaving during the morning period. while we wait for 459, 7- 8 #273 buses pass by. Out of these - 4-5 are always empty. is there any need of so many 273 buses? why do we spend our resources on unwanted buses?

            BEST — Bus moves before people get in

            Hi

            I am very disappointed by the BEST services, i saved from having bad injury, which is a very known thing nowadays.

            I was waiting for the 181 bus on 15th October 2010 at Vakola Pipe line Stop. The bus arrived at approx 8:15 am it was empty, vry few stantding passengers were there in the bus, bus stoped at the stop but before people climbed it moved & i was shouting to stop as my hand was stuck with behin door & the people getting in but i had not climbed in it, luckly i could remove my hand , i got hurt on my leg, but even listening to my shout the bus was not stoped i could have fallen on my face & have bad injury, this is very serious situation & it happens every day with some or the other person....pls take some action before anyone looses their life. This a request to you'll.
            the bus driver of bus no 256 does not stop on the bus stop, he slows down the bus before the stop & then picks up speed but refuses to stop. i will b waiting for feedback on this issue on '[protected]@hotmail.com' hope action is taken against this. cos many times i have complained about this in the malwani bus dept, but no action has been taken about thia.

              Few months ago, BEST has started a new Bus # 709 from Magathane depot (Borivali) to low off the crowd on 709 bus from Bhayander & 309 from Gorai. However, from the last 15 days, it seems that the bus has been STOP, whcih waste half or 45 mins on the Bust stop as their is no other bus other than 309 & 709 from Western Express highwayBorivali to Andheri J.B Nagar/Chakala. Please look in to this matter seriously or increase the bus frequency.

                  I am a regular commuter of BEST bus for the route no 340 which goes from Ghatkopar Station to Andheri. There is a group of 20 to 25 reckless people who are very much trouble to the commuters at Ghatkopar station in the bus queue for 340. They have their 1 friend standing in a queue & all the others join that person one by one without thinking that they are entering in the middle of the queue & there are other people who are leaving home early & stand in the queue to reach their office on time.
                  TC standing over there asks other people not enter in the middle & stand in a proper queue but overlook this group. When the other commuters asks the TC that why he is not taking any action against this group & instruct them to come in queue he replies that its commuters duty to tell that.
                  Many regular commuters ignore them as that group of people is so indecent that they behave weirdly & come to fight as if they are doing the very right thing.

                  I hope this will be considered really seriously & action against it can be taken to give commuters some sigh of relief by saving their time atleast 15-20 min each day. Where in commuters like me who spend 2 hours nearby to reach office one way has to wait for the bus for atleast 20-25 min normally but because of this group of people who come later than us with a leisure time & board the bus before us because of which extra 15-20 mins are wasted

                  I agree with you. I have been facing this since last 3 yrs, the day since I started traveling on this route. It seems as if BEST management is not worried about the honest public. Their ignorance boosts the goons on the bus stop. They should do something strict to stop them.Add more railings to the stop and make it difficult for people to jump the queue.
                  Very True. These buggers get in to the bus and block the seats. Also the frequecny of 340 is too less - taking into the consideration the number of commuters . People have to waste almost double the time for reaching their destination.
                  i also agree. Atleast The Frequency of the Bus should be increased in peak hours that is from 8 to 9:30 am and also in the evening.

                    I Priyal Nishar work near Andheri, Nalco. It has really been difficult to travel from & to Vakola Bridge & Andheri Nalco Bus stop during these 9 months of my job. I travel through 181 or 449. But there has been no proper frequency of these buses and not even proper timetable of these buses. Some time there is not even a single bus from 9.00am to 9.40am. & if luckily the bus come (181). generally it is full, so the driver does not stop at our Vakola bridge stop. I also have a 3 month buss pass which idsalmost a waste because half the time i have to travel through rickshaw. which makes our travelling very costly.
                    Kindly make a note of these problems by me & many such common travellers travelling in the same common route. Please keep aproper distribution of buses. Soour travelling becomes a comfortful.

                    BEST BUSES — Deliberate Scratching of Car.

                    Dear Sir,

                    My car was stopped at Khira nagar signal. A BEST bus No 231, which goes from Juhu Depot to Santacruz Station went in front of my car and scratched it right through, causing my numberplate to break and also causing bad scratch marks. I could not do anything as the bus went right past without stopping.
                    I have noted down its number which was MH-01-LA-6320. This incident took place around 7:50pm.
                    Kindly look into the matter because such Bus drivers should be punished for deliberately damaging personal property of innocent public.
                    I will take this matter further if something is not done immediately. They should be taught a lesson.

                    BEST BUSES — HARRASMENT BY CONDUCTOR

                    I AM A FIVE MONTHS PREGNANT LADY AND WAS TRAVELLING BY THE 374 BUS FROM KALINA TO VILE PARLE, AS I DID NOT HAVE PLACE TO SIT WHEN THE CONDUCTOR ASKED ME FOR THE TICKET I TOLD HIM TO WAIT FOR SOMETIME AND AS SOON AS I GET A SEAT WILL GIVE HIM THE MONEY AS I HAD TO GET DOWN AT VILE PARLE, BUT HE REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME AND STARTED YELLING AT ME.
                    THIS INCIDENT OCCURED AT 20:30 HRS ON 28/1/09 IN BUS NO 374. THE BUS NO MH-01 LA-6712 AND 5474.
                    THE CONDUCTOR'S BATCH NO IS 4935.
                    PLEASE DO SOMETHING AS IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A SEPERATE SEAT FOR PREGNANT LADIES.
                    SUGGESTION:- TRAIN THE STAFF TO BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS TO LADIES.
                    Dear Sir,

                    Route No. 391 from Mulund Station to Khindi Pada & back never runs as per schedule timings. Most of the times 3 to 5 buses will come together & then for about atleast 30 minutes there won't be any bus. This results in people choosing rickshaws to go & when the buses come 1 or 2 will be full whereas others will be fully vacant. There is no control on the time schedule. Mostly at around 1.00 pm I have seen 4 to 5 buses together. If this system is controlled, BEST revenue will increased & the passengers also will get better facility.

                    Similarly Route Nos. 408, 409 & 454 awhich cover area between Bhadup Sonapur to Mulund Colony & Jhonsons Garden. These buses also come most of the times together on both to & back routes.
                    Please organise for the survey so that time schedules can be adjusted or controlled so as to increase BEST's revenue

                    i cannot find the time table for route 83
                    there is no frequency for bus no 130 & 101 from goldeval to fountain there is no time table for this bus there is no time fix of bus its come in the gap of half hours some time it takes more than hour it is very difficulty to go for office there is somany peoples are sufferings from this problems we all are always late for going to office we have to go by share the taxi this route of bus 130&101 is very problematic so i have request to the best pls increase the buses in this route early.

                    BEST BUSES — no halting at bus stop(Bus no 604)

                    Yesterday (13-jan-2010) at 9:05 pm i have to board bus no 604 from pratap nagar bus stop as i was standing in front of stop bus didn't stop at the stop.

                    Why the bus didn't stop ? Is the bus stop is meant for show purpose ? and the drivers would stop the as they want?

                    buses starting from majas depot do not have indicators n numbers r missing ...............n till we ask the conductor/ driver who do not bother to answer the bus is gone........thus causing inconvinience....I am a daily traveller from greenfields to parsi panchayat..............and also ur bus number 441 has not started its previous route........kindly consider at the earliest

                      I am travelling daily from andheri ( Railway station west ) to seepz by AC bus.
                      BEST has stopped A415 and forcing people to travel by BRTS422 only.
                      BEST site www.bestundertaking.com is showing the ticket rate should be Rs.10 for BRTS422.
                      But BEST is charging 15 Rs for Andheri station to Seepz.
                      Either BEST should provide correct fares on web site or they should issue tickets as per rate displayed in web site.

                        My name is Madan, i taken a bus no 8306, route No 513, from Vashi to Electricity board(conductor charged me Rs.6), while i am getting down at electricity board, i was checked by the ticket collector Name B P Sawanth(BC-196661).He said to me that you are over travelled and collected a fine of Rs 66(Chalan no 3123).Travell date:1.3.2009 time :10:00 PM

                        My question is how i am responsible for this?what ever conductor has issued the ticket i have taken it.

                        Mr B P Sawanth(BC-196661) is saying that its you fault and he had abused me and talked in racist manner.

                        Please take corrective action aginst the conductor and B P Sawant; whoever is responsible.

                        This is to inform you that yesterday night i was travelling in bus no 266, as i wanted to go to MILLAT NAGAR lokhandwala andheri west, i have confirmed with the COLLECTOR that i want to go to millat nagar he said millat nagar bus is closed ( BUS NO 242 ), so i can travell in bus no 266 it will cost me Rs 5/- and if i want to go to millat nagar i have to pay Rs 3/- extra which i paid, but they told me to get down from the bus so far away from millat nagar, and the conductor was too rude, and took me to OSHIWARA DEPOT where i lodge a complaint, but the situation and the behaviour of all the B.E.S.T staff was so cheap and careless, it was so disaponting to see the reputeded bus service of the mumbai like B.E.S.T maintains the organisation which is not at all organized, the time was 1:00 am dated 29/05/2009 location OSHIWARA DEPOT, bus ticket no[protected] actual ticket Rs 5/[protected] extra amount paid Rs 3/-), i was not informed that they will drop me down before my destination at ANDHERI BUS DEPOT,

                        The most disapoiting point was the conductor was leaving from his duty and he was laughing on the system runs by the blind government may be i was knowing that the nothing will happend or no one can do anytihng to him as may be he was belongs to any perticular UNION,

                        This is an hummble request to you that kindly take some necessory steps to provide us SAFE JERNEY as its your moto BEST JERNEY SAFE JERNEY, we get safly of of body but we are unsafe financialy with the B.E.S.T,

                        best should divert bus no 510 ltd through lbs to vashi depot
                        its always impossible to get in the bus no 522, 512, 523 as these buses always come packed
                        the bus no 510 ltd always goes empty and the frequency of buses from vashi to ghatkopar is every 5 min
                        so the new route followed can be :
                        barve nagar - ghatkopar stn - shreyas cinema - vikhroli depot - gandhi nagar - bhandup stn [w] - bhandup sonapur - nahur railway station - airoli - rabade - ghansoli -mahape naka - mbp - koparkhairne - vashi depot
                        so please do the needful
                        I have a terrible experience today moring while commuting to office.I was travelling in a state transport bus ah02 5768 from Panvel to Thane.While the bus reaced Sanpada a local boy was standing near my seat in 2nd row.Seeing two ladies who were going to get down i asked him to move inside rathher than pushing me though very common scene.He was rather abusive and I was shocked in the way he spoke ill off starting of my mothers name.He was challenging me in Marathi and myself being non maharashtrian spoke in Hindi though not fluent charged him too.I never could imagine next.He was hitting me and two othe fellow passenger kicked and hitted me.The conductor was also abusing me since I wasnt speaking in marathi they were all wild.I that moment I pleaded a Marathi lady of my mothers age and she saved me.I would got have killed.Later that boy got down and tears were rooling down my cheeks.No one consoled me.The conductor was not at all bothered when I told him why you didnt stop the public.He charged me rather telling we get up to fight.Such is the society of Navi Mumbai today.Maharashtrian ego will ruin this elite name.We need people at borders and services rather than showing cowardice acts at local bus to outsiders.I wish to leave this country there is too much racism.Raj thakery and people like him are the real terrorists of Mumbai I suppose
                        i was traveling from bhandup pumping station to nocil...at the time of boarding into the bus(513/512 i forgot actually, i think its from mulund to vahsi depot) i just used the front door since the bus stopped before the stop as 2 more buses are in front, but the driver asked me to get down rudely.for ur information the bus was not crowded.

                        The reason i used the front door is bcoz, the drivers dont stop the bus again at the stop, by the time you go to the back door they just simply dont care & dont stop.

                        For information the stupid driver(batch no- 28569) who stopped me was trying to teach me the bloody rules but the driver was listening music with headphone while driving.

                        if anybody wants the snaps of drivers listening music with headphone while driving...i will post also...

                          I am a regular commuter from Ramwadi busstop on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Rd, and it has been often noticed that Bus Nos 523, 524, 461, 459 commuting on this route dont take a halt at Ramwadi bus stop even when passengers/commuters show their hands for halting the bus. and even if the bus stops, the conductor has so urgency to ring the bell that hardly two or three commuters get in.

                          Some quick action has to be taken in this case.

                            I am a regular passenger of Bus no. 421 commuting from Ghatkopar to Filter pada.
                            My complaint is that there is no particular system in which public get in the bus from the bus stop at Ghatkopar, before the bus arrives everyone stands in the queue: a standing queue & a sitting queue, but as soon as the bus comes everyone just rushes to enter in first which results in a big mob. Also the TC appointed for the bus stop is never on duty.
                            By chance once he was there but controlling traffic and not the people, I went up and asked him that why was he not doing his work, he replied back by saying that i will handle the traffic and not the queue i[censored] make 3 lines and just walked away.
                            Now whose job is it to ask people to stand in a queue.
                            Its the same in the evenings, the driver doent halt the bus at the stop even if there is place for the people to get in, and we are left standing at the bus stops for hours.

                              Yesrteday 29 Jan 2009 at 11.45pm a bus no 2406 leaving for Bandra (505) from CBD bus depot, but the bus arrived in depot had not stopped in the depot and started leaving.
                              Meanwhile my two collegeus where trying two get in the bus but the bus driver had not stopped the and they both would have being got injured and there baggage(heavy truck machine) would have fallen on there leg leading two big accident.
                              I had lodge the complaint in bus depot CBD Belapur but they showed no positive reponse.
                              So plese help me out with the situation, we had also being filing the complaint in CBD police station.

                                We board our bus from Agarkar Chowk (Andheri East) Station - Route No. 333 to New Quarters. Bang adjacent to this bus stop, is another bus stop of 308 going till Sahar. Now the problem starts when the queue at 308 is very long and simultaneously the queue at 333 is long too. Commuters travelling in 308 can avail any bus that halts at that bus stop as many commuters alight at Chakala. But the commuters at 333 route can avail only that bus since it takes them right till New Quarters, as this is the only bus which takes us there, there is no other bus service till our destination.
                                When 333 bus arrives, it is normally halted at 308 bus stop as there is no particular bus shed for 333. Commuters who normally wait for 15 to 20 minutes for bus no. 333, cannot board the bus as commuters from 308 try to push themselves in. We at 333 are pushed and stamped when we try to make our way in forcibly.

                                We urged few drivers to stop the bus only at 333 bus queue but they start abusing and fighting with us and say that all this happens at the bus stops and it is not their duty to take care of all the rules. We also requested the conductors to atleast stand near the rear steps so that commuters from 308 queue are not able to board this bus before us. But even the conductors were rude to us saying that they do not have time for all that . They also commented that why dont we travel by autos rather than travelling by buses.

                                Is this the way the drivers and conductors should behave with the commuters? Arent they given any training in communication?
                                Why cant they see their family members in us?

                                Its our earnest request to please give them special training as to which bus should be halted at which stop. Also they should be trained to speak politely to commuters.

                                  Inhuman Driving

                                  Today on 8th of December 2008, when I boarded the best Bus # 368 the conductor was arrogant and inhuman that he didnt even stop for a second for me to board in properly, I could have had a major accident, . the Driver # is 90228 (Bus # 368 MH-01 LA 5864). And when I asked him why he did that he didnt answer nor even paid any attention towards me as if he didnt knew anything about this. Why our own Indians treat their people in this manner....

                                  In the night, (on 08/10/08) at 1 am, I was returning from malad station to my home via rickshaw via route dafftary road near kurar police station . THe BEST Bus 624 was unnecesery overtaking to the rickshaw and The BEST driver was driving the bus very rashly and he was trying to push rickshaw and i was sitting with other three passangrs in rickshaw .Due to his mistake the bus could collide with a rickshaw just passing by and this would have been even worse and nobody took an account of this, the driver did not apologise and he was unncessery argumenting with us at Ramesh hotel bus stop or so and started driving again in the same way . I think they are used to it as they didn't even talk properly to the passengers and We could not expect this type of services from BEST public service . So request you to look into this for safety of people.

                                  Although I am not aware of the incident mentioned in complaint above, I went through a similar horrible experience. On 26 Mar 09, a BEST driver at ~2pm on Mahakali Caves road was extremely rash and intentionally overtaking the autorickshaw in which I was travelling. Soon after when the auto was stationary at the traffic signal, the bus driver came up behind and banged into the autorickshaw, though it did not cause any material damage. It was totally unecessary as the road was empty and the bus was also empty. The bus was probably returning back towards nearby Marol Depo. Upon reprimanding him, the driver was rude, using abusive language and saying that the autorickshaw driver should have seen!!! They play around with the smaller vehicles around them like cat with mice..

                                  The BEST bus drivers seem to have very big egos, supported by the feeling that they can do anything and get away with it as there is no consequence nor any legal recourse to their actions. What a lousy attitude..SHAME on the bus-driver community. Very very disgusted. Until a few months back, I used to hold this bus service in high regard for its public service. I have been reading about too many BEST-related mishaps and experiencing it myself today, they seem to be a threat to public safety with their total apathy, negligent and rash driving.

                                  While it has been useful to vent out my frustration and helplessness, I am also curious.. What the hell does this website do about such incidents / complaints..???
                                  yes i agree to this. bus drivers think that they are riding a vehicle not ment for public service rathe vice versa. this is disgusting. many ppl are suffereing but hardly anyone complaints about it.

                                  This is to bring to your notice that in my area (Kashimira Ghodbunder) there are 500 hundreds children going to school and every day Bus comes late due to shortage of drivers or any other reason by the conductor. Due to this every day children are late in school and even office people are reporting late The bus no is 702 Boriwali to Ghodbunder. I request you please increase buses and bus should come on time specially during morning hours.
                                  I had a very recent experience of the rash driving and arrogant behavior of BEST bus drivers. The driver of Bus # MH 01 H 9216, Vasant Dhondiram Salunkhe, badge # 91625 hit my innova from the the rear, the car was stopped at the signal and still he had the audacity to hit the car and laugh about it !!!

                                  The reason he did so was, I overtook his bus and was in front which hurt his ego ! Traffic police constable arrived and the driver refused to give any details or get off the bus !! He abused the constable. The police constable then called the local mobile police van and then a complaint was lodged with andheri police station.

                                  The driver claimed to know the mulund depot head and the chairman of BEST !!!

                                  Can any1 please help me with what suitable action can be taken against this driver? Is there any consumer complaint forum / department?

                                  7:00 pm time bus. This time is for working hours everybody want to reach office on time.but because of this reason we are not reach time on time.

                                  today evening when i got in 299 bus the condectoer annouced that the bus will not go to Rushivan (last stop).I had to get down two stops earlier and had to climb the hills .When protested the Driver arruged that by coming here we had favoured you and i had to walk alone on the lonely road.My ticket no is[protected]

                                  Today (15/02/2011 at 10 a.m) when I was on the way to malad with wife and small kid …I was waiting at MTNL flyover single for green …….the Best driver was driving the bus very rashly and he hit my car and showing his hand from the window that ….he has done nothing ………I know they are frustrated with their job because of traffic ……..but it doesn’t mean they can play with other life ……….they are not doing any favor for local public……if you don’t want to work as a driver …there are lots of other people they want job and do there work properly…and you just resign and do the other job ( bajan) ……..where you will get easy money ………..my car was damage is other issue …..but if something happen to my family …who will be responsible for that … I forgot to take his bus no……if I would take his no…I could give him good……

And my another request to your controller is that appoint one person in civil dress near cadbury junction bus stop between 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. then you will come to know the behaviour of your staff.

                                    Today (18July08) at 9.25am, a BEST bus nos MH01 L 8109 carelessly allowed the bus to move backwards and smashed my car headlight. This happened in front of Marol Maroshi Fire station. The bus was parked at the bus stand and I was waiting behind the bus with a distance of 3feet between bus and my car. Before moving the bus forward the driver carelessly allowed the bus to move backwards. So my headlight and bonnet were damaged. The approx repair charges will bea minimum of Rs.5500/-. Please help me register a complaint with the right authority and take action against the bus driver.
