The AC bus route no.458 between Gorai Bust depot to Mulund Check Naka is highly irregular. Many a times the first Bus leaving Gorai Bus Depo at 7.40AM is cancelled and the next bus statrting at 8.00am is late by 10-15 minutes.Hence there is heavy crowd of 1& half buses. Normally this bus has passengers of Corporate employees in Thane region as well as college students of Management & engineering colleges. Now a days, mostly every day due to cancellation of first bus and second bus coming late we are finding difficult to reach the office /colleg in time.Beside the bus are loaded with passengers including Jammed standees & the buses being old are not having much pick up speed and on Ghod bundar Road it runs at snail's pace.Earlier it was told that there wont be any standees in the AC bus but now a days they are all over crowded and jameed so its finding very difficult to get down at desired point.We expect the Gorai Depo Manager and the Chairman of BEST standing committee will look in to this and help us to reach our destinations in time.Similarly for the return journey also the service is very irregular, nobody answers the reasons and investigate to to set it right.Because of this we have to incur salary loss due to late attending of office.Please help.

    Hi ,

    I am greatful that BEST is running bus services from Bandra - East to Bandra Kurla Complex ( 310, 303, 217 )and there are quite a few buses and there is a good frecuency of it in the morning.

    I take the bus 310 in the morning from the 2nd stop. The surrounding are horrible and in the monsoon you acutally have to walk thourght all the muck . If BKC is such a posh area then the bus stop should be clean walkable. The surrounding and the 2nd stop stink.

    In the evening when returning I take the bus from Citibank and at 5:30pm the frequency of the busses is bad, sometimes two busses come togethe and then there are no busses for at least 25 - 30 min . The other thing is that at this peak hour you will have buses going only to MMRDA or Kalanagar. What is the purpose of this as everybody is trying to reach Bandra East station .

    The other thing is why is the frequency of busses from Kurla staion to Bandra East station so limited in the evening . So much is desired, people work hard the whole day and then get into such crowded buses and face such agony why can they not sit and enjoy the ride to the station.

    Just a week back two guy handing from an extemely crowded 310 actually fell when the bus went over a speed breaker, if there as a vehicle in speed behind they would have surely died.

    It is my humble request to reduce these busses going to MMRDA and Family court but overall increase the frequency of his busses like they are in the morning from Bandra East to BKC .

    Also the 2nd stop at Bandra East is not at all hygenic . Please help.

      Hi,
      I travel form Mahape to Goregoan and prefer to use 525 because this is the only bus which goes from Highway. However from last 20 days, this bus is not coming on time. There is no schedule followed between 9 to 10 am. Sometime there is no bus for 45 minutes and sometime 2-3 AC bus come together after 1 hr. Daily we saw 525 on another side of road and assume that this bus may came back in 10-15 minute however it never happen. Dont know why it take so long time for them to cover 3 km U turn..

        there is no bus from 8 am to 8.45 am from Orlem Church To LAxmi Indus. Bus No 210 N 707, now doesnt come from 2 weeks, they have change the bus timing so, from orlem church around 8.20 to 8.30 there more than 20 passengers for bus no 210. kindly give extra bus to start from Orlem Church To Yari Road @ Time Of 8.15 Am Daily, we have to go by Rickshaw Daily, n pay the huge money to them so kindly provied the bus as soon as possible.           This is regarding the cancellation of as 3 bus stop at maheswari udyan ie king circle.
          I travel every day from thane to kingcircle n hav quaterly pass too.
          This is causing me n other of my colleges a lot of trouble
          Its actually ridiculous to know that as 13 the express bus is going from below d flyover at king circle n not as 3
          Plz resume d bus stop

            There are 4 bus for the route of Jogeshwari (west) to Malad but none of these come on time and if the bus comes also the driver does not stops at the bus stop.
            they run away the bus and all common people are running behind the bus.
            please make the frequency of buses regular.

              Dear Sir/Mam,

              I recently started travelling in BEST BUS from mulund west to andheri east to and fro for 2 months. i am 23 years old. being a girl i think my travelling was horrific. why isnt there a queue to get into d buss especially in the evening hours after 6. v ladies have to fight against men and get into the bus. and you know there are few who just try to physically get in contact with the ladies in dat 3 sec of time. really it is very sad. or just keep a system were in the ladies can get into the bus from front door and the men from the back door. Something needs to be done. please look into the matter.
              Secondly if any passenger is drunk i think the conductor needs to throw that person out of the bus.

              Please look into the matter and take some serious actions

                my name is chitra gavan n i work in malad ,n live in thane (waghbil) ,so dats y i have to travel thane to borivali station to reach malad daily ,but today Sunday 26 June 2011.as per my routine i m catch the blue A/C bus No. MH-01-AP-0049 from waghbil THANE.after dat when i sit in the bus the conductor (1258) of dat bus come n ask me for the money i gave him 100rs n told him til borivali station after dat he refund me 20 rupees n 80rs ticket ,when i told him dat the charge till borivali is 40rs then y u cut 80rs till borivali then is start abusing me in front off all the passengers .after dat he start shouting i[censored] don't have change i will charge it like dis only ,n said i have taken 2 passengers fare from u because u don't have change rupees , sir i m alone there at high way he is asking me to get out of the bus in the middle of my destination ...n abuse me a lot ...can some body help me to let him understand wat he did ? help me ...

                  I was riding my bike with my wife + two year old boy + 5 months baby towards flora fountain yesterday[protected] at 10.30 pm . At the 30 to 40 speed
                  Suddenly a BEST driver of route No 24, bus NO MH-01-LA-5019 unnecessory overtaked and tried to press me n to make emergency break n suddenley stopped at the bus stop which was just 1 meter ahead , in which I could have a result of accident with my whole family to the even death of some .
                  As he stopped at bus stop I asked is this the way to overtake or to drive the huge bus ? He answered
                  (tu gandu andha hai chutye,)
                  (Salaa bhaira ). Instead of sorry n appologise I have to hear this abusing languagejust bcus he is a governtment servent , there's no value of the normal civilian ? Deos the BEST driver can do whatever they want ? R they always right on they driving rules ? But I have launched a police complaint against the bus driver at aplton road police station F.I.R or N.C no . 59811, inspite of telling the investigatio officer to take a F.I.R , he told this will work for u , and I was told to give written complaint to BEST enclosing the copy of this . Is this is to be done to the indian citizen ? Are any steps going to take against the driver ? Deos the BEST deos not give salary to drivers or can't effort a good driver ? Kindly revert me.                   BEST Mumbai — Ticket conductors refuse to tender change for Rs. 500/-

                  Bus No: C-71 plying between Mahim and Miraroad. Bus Reg No: MH01 L 9752. Conductor batch no: C56870.
                  The Bus Conductor refused to tender change for Rs. 500/- despite he was having sufficient change. His made excuse that BEST does not accepts Rs. 500/- note. Resultant I had to travel ticket-less from Goregaon (Hub) to Miraroad.

                  Dear friend there is just two adult on a bike and other two r minor so they are not asumed as seat for even not as a half seat, as I have mentioned the years. N months dear there is no rule about the child in hand or mother feeding or new born s is there any kindly let me know dear,
                  Beside this it is not necesory if someone is breaking rules so he should have any fatal accident and ofcourse it is not a duty of a bus driver to give punishment of death,
                  If I have break the rules of trafic or RTO so I am liable to do whatever is the chrges against me dear, but what about the bus driver?
                  Dear taufiq,
                  Similar incident happened with my friend, but in response my friend slap him, since he gave him bad words and damaged his bike.
                  But my friend had to pay 5000 rupee fine. because he slap him on duty.
                  even tell me, if we can teach a lesson to this kind of bus drivers.

                    There is a but route numbered 422(non-AC) : Bandra(West) To Mulund
                    And same route numbered 422 AC bus : Andheri(East) To Mulund

                    Generally it is seen that when bus number is same, The route for both non-AC and AC are same.

                    But, Here What is happening is creating trouble for my in my every day travel from my
                    home(Khar West-link road) to office(Powai-Hiranandani).

                    As there is no AC bus covering my route of travel And there lots of construction works are going on which makes the traveling by non-AC bus even tough as traffic is always high on this route and atmosphere is not that friendly here in day time.

                    I just want to request you that, Please let the AC422 be from Bandra(West) To Mulund .

                    Kindly look into this. It will be very favoring if I can see this request being accepted.

                      I want to do complain about misbehaviour of Conductor of Best Bus No. 207 (MH 01 L 8240) between 10.15 A. M. to 10.45A.M. ( Between: Borivli to Kandivli Dhanukarwadi).

                      In this bus i seat at 10.15a.m.. Conductor name i dont know but i saw the batch. Batch No. i cant saw clear. Which i saw i put (Batch No. 9396). He is very discusting person. He has not way to talk people. When customer travel then only the use of transport.

                        I and my fiance were going to office on bike in the morning at 9:50am at goregaon western express highway, the bus driver dashed us to left side of the road, he was rash driving that he was not aware he might occur an accident or take some one life.

                        Are this right type of person appointed for providing service to people? This is worst experince of the BEST driver. They are illiterate and do not know how to talk. After an accident occured with us, the way of talking to us was so harsh and worst, he was giving bad words, but not bothered what he has done.

                        We the husband &wife both are Sr citizen. Today we travelled by AS461 Bus No.6883 fromBorivali Rly Stn to Mulund Check Naka around 12=15pm in heavy raining.
                        During the journy we experienced the major leakage in the bus from window side due to which reserved seat one for Sr Citizen and another for Women remained vacant in whole journey those people travelling by standing could not utilised the seats due to water sippage.                           Hi,

                          I was harassed and insulted by the bus conductor on my journey from Boriwali west station to Vazira Naka when i took Bus. no. 244 from the station on 30th May 2011. from Chandavarkar lane bustop. Over the issue that i was not carrying Rs. 4 change on me and gave him a Rs.50 note instead.

                          But after checking my entire bag i genuinely did not find any change so had no option but to request for a change. The conductor refused from giving and asked me to get down of the bus. It was 10.00 in the night and i denied getting down from the bus as the was already late from work and my 4 months baby was waiting for me. I had no option but to take that bus.He then insulted me by saying that i never wanted to buy a ticket so i gave him a Rs. 50 note. Also at the stop a gang of ticket collector harassed me over this issue.

                          Its always been that despite having change on then the conductors deny giving them. And people like me in urgent situations face humiliation from them.

                          Sorry i couldnt take his badge no. all i know is the bus no and time.

                          Pls do the needful if possible.

                            I normally travel with BEST bus route# 334.
                            Today on 20th May 2011 at 08.15AM in the morning, this bus ( MH01- 8213 ) travelling from MAROL-DEPOT to Ghatkopar Station (W) came on bus stop # 9 - "Marol Maroshi Bus Station"... I raised my hand to stop that bus at the stop....but the driver - who does NOT want to have benefits to customers and BEST services company - just IGNORED / OVERLOOKED me and drive the bus as fast as he can. Also, next tho this bus stop, there is a TRAFFIC SIGNAL (near seven hills hospital), where other buses usually stop, but this bus driver (i think he is drunken alcohol) did NOT stop and breaks the signal and bypassed the road towards SAKINAKA junction.....

                            So I had to wait for another 30 minutes to get in the another bus for my travel plan. And when I asked the conductor of that bus about where and how I can complain about such bus service, then he told me to go to CHOWKI (DEPO).... Does it mean, I have to waste my whole day running after buses and searching for BUS DEPOS to complaint?

                            I have never seen such a bad treat to a customer and such a HOPELESS service in MUMBAI....

                            Please be warned that, we are customers and you need to provide good services otherwise we will force government to permit PRIVATE BUS SERVICES on the MUMBAI roads....

                            If BEST is a CMMI level company then that AUDIT PROCESS and AUDITORS are FAKE...... CUSTOMERS and COMPLAINTS SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED.....

                            I hope my message is clear, please take action on that bus DRIVER (Bus# 8213) ..... I will also publish this in all NEWSPAPERS in MUMBAI and MAHARASHTRA .....

                              BEST offers to switch the pass from lower site (Magic Pass) to higher site (Diamond AC pass) but doesn't offer from higher to lower site. When i was went to buy Magic Pass, the authority refuse me to do so and suggest to make another registration for getting Magic Pass of which process will take more 4days and extra additional registration charges.

                                i would like to make a serious complaint about best buses not halting near bus stop , but at times in the middle of the road causing inconveinenece to alighting and boarding passengers. even with a little gap left the motorcylist zoom past from the left of the buses with no consideration for passengers.

                                BEST bus service — not halting bus near bus stop

                                I am a regular traveller between vashi and chheda nagar.
                                I dwould like to point out that at chheda nagar bus stop the best drivers tend to avoid halting the bus
                                near the stop. Yesterday while travelling in 507 bus tkt no[protected] while i was to alight at chheda
                                nagar stop i was almost knocked down by a tataindica which tried to overtake between the bus and the stop.oo
                                All the drivers do this because they have to take a right turn at the junction ahead and so they want to
                                stay at the right as far as possible.
                                I would suggest relocating the said stop a little behind or issue strict instructions to the drivers to
                                stop the buses near the stop.

                                BEST Bus — :Bus does not halt at Stop

                                Respective Sir / Madam,

                                This is to bring to your notice that the public transport (BEST Bus) is not working as per the regulations. This a daily event that happens in between 9.30pm - 9.45pm at Mira Road check naka stop- Before Ajit Palace, BEST Buses do not halt at the given stops. There are 4 buses in row which does not halt in this 15min period inspite of the stop been registered in the route. Bus no. MH-01-LA-6720, MH-01-LA-6723, MH-01-LA-6655 and MH-01-LA-6520. Irrespective of the Bus been empty or occupied. Especially for a female it is difficlut to manage those 20-25 min at that particular destination. It has been 4 months that i am noticing this event. An empty bus is always a temptation for a traveler, especially after a long day. I belive these buses are suppose to serve public and not torture them mentally and physically by making people run behind the bus. Mumbai is said to be city of spirit and such incidences stamp the spirit under feets daily for daily commuters. I hope my plead of asking the drivers to perform there job relegiously. does not fall on deaf ears.
                                I hope this complaint is just not waste of time.

                                I'm a senior citizen and I,ve to travel daily from Kanakia to Dahisar check naka at about between 9.30am to 10.00am.
                                However, the buses coming from bhayander station towards Borivali does not halt at the bus stop's.

                                I'm facing a lot of difficulty.

                                I've to always look for a richshaw and it is very difficult.

                                I request you to look in to my query and hope to receive a solution for it.

                                transportation — buses not leaving at the proper stops

                                my complaint is regarding transportation of school buses
                                i request you to kindly take action regarding the buses,whih are not leaving the school children to thier respective stops.........
                                Grievance-my grievence is about the not leaving the school bus of cjm to the proper stop which is novelty road ambala city.......
                                its coming to bustand ambala city instead of novelty from 3-4 days.................

                                niether they are droping nor the are picking us from novelty...

                                firstly they had a reason which was that its very rushy there so they cant leave us to novelty road.....
                                but now they are not telling the reason that why dont they come there in the morning........

                                every school or govt.bus leaves the children to the respected stopagges in the moring as well as in the afternoon....
                                then why cant you do it?
                                please understand the problems of the children atleast from which they are suffering through...
                                i request you to kindly take action on it...........
                                and if you cant plz tell directly and clearily to everone that you cant do anything and you are banning the shool govt buses...
                                to the principal of the school so she can take any action and make arrangements.....
                                its the novelty-cjm bus



                                action-allow the buses to leave the children to there respected stop and pick up from there respected stop..............
                                please understand the children's request thay are suffering alot and as it is its summer also.........

                                  I Nandini Gavas, who resides at Bhandup Pratap Nagar, a daily commuter from Kanjurmarg station to Pratap Nagar Bhandup.

                                  I usually come from office between 10 pm to 10:30 pm to kanjurmarg marg station so that i have to only rely on BEST bus service to reach home safely. I am not the only commuter from this point there are others as well but they might not be aware of the complaint forum or they just dont want to.

                                  what happening is the best bus service is stopped occasionally during night time and giving unreasonable excuses saying that there is a function on the road, or some person is celebrating and the road is occupied them, I just dont understand this why the best services are stopped cause some individual want to have fun in middle of road and government is helpless to do anything, this causes lot of inconvenience to others as well, especially to women who are standing in a Que in a hope that the bus will arrive and we would go home safely.

                                  we do not have any safe transportation services at night to rely on.

                                  Please some one so something about this...

                                    WHILE BOARDING BUS NO 403, FROM I I T MARKET STOPPAGE AT AROUND 1:45 PM, (BUS NO MH01 9270) ON 28.04.2011 BUS GOING TOWARDS MAROL DEPOT, THE BUS STARTED FROM THE STOPPAGE EVEN BEFORE MY DAUGHTER AND WIFE BOARDED THE BUS. MY DAUGHTER HAD JUST KEPT HER ONE FOOT AND THE BUS STARTED, WITHOUT THE CONDUCTOR AND THE DRIVER BOTHERING TO STOP THE BUS. THE BUS WAS ALSO MORE OR LESS EMPTY. SUBSEQUENTLY MY WIFE HAS PULLED HER DOWN FROM THE MOVING BUS. RESULTING IN INJURY.
                                    PRESENTLY IT IS SEEN THAT THE BEST BUSES DRIVERS AND CONDUCTORS ARE BEHAVING VERY INDIFFERENTLY TOWARDS THE PASSENGERS AND ALSO NOT STOPPING THE BUSES AT THE SCHEDULED STOPS .

                                    BEST BUSES — Starting the bus before passenger board the bus

                                    Today I boarded bus No MH 01 H[protected] Route No, 207 from St Francis Technical School at 10.15 amI obseved that the driver stoped the bus before the bus stop and before I boarded the he started the bus, due to which I lost my, Balance I am A slip disc patient and it is very painful in such case, and I have noticed that normally all the driver and conductors repeats the same mistakes, even the conductors rings the bell before the passengers boards the bus. Therfore I request you let me now as how to tackle this directely with the conductor or the driver. Please consider this complain form all those passegers who use your services.

                                      The AC bus service started by BEST is very pathetic. Daily, at Koparkhairane, I would like to board the AS-551 bus which plies between Marol depot and Vashi Rly Stn, and daily I would have to wait for more than 1 hour for the bus. The frequency of the bus is supposed to be 30 minutes. But actually it is more than 60 minutes.

                                      Even today, I had to wait for about 45 minutes, but there was no sign of AS-551 bus. And Thank God, finally, an ordinary bus (522) arrived and I boarded the bus. When I asked the conductor, why the AS-551 bus did not arrive since 45 minutes. He informed me that the AC bus service is pathetic. Out of 10 buses, 6 are always "not working" and under repair. That is the reason there are so less buses and hence the gap between buses.

                                      If that is the case, then BEST should scrap the AC bus service. Instead it should ply only ordinary buses as BEST does not have the capability to maintain so many buses so that the passengers (who are BEST's customers) time and money is not wasted.

                                      I also humbly request NMMT to please start a bus service between Vashi and SEEPZ via Koparkhairane because the NMMT service is far better than the BEST.

                                        Hi,
                                        I travel by bus no #424 from jogeshwari anand nagar to hiranandani business park, powai. Waiting for bus for around 25 minutes the bus (bus no MH-01-AP-8248) came at 1:35 and the bus was travelling on the middle of the road and didnt stop at the bus stop. This is the first stop for the bus after coming out of the GOREGAON BUS DEPOT. there were around 5 peoples standing for the bus. i ran after the bus since there was a traffic signal.The bus driver was about to jump the signal. i got the bus and complained to the Conductor. he said he could not see peoples standing at the bus stop. but i clearly heard conductor ringing the bell so that the bus should not stop. there was another instance where the bus did not stop at Juhu lane though i was i the bus and another person complained about it. The ticket number given was[protected]. (rs 14/-)

                                        I just want to say that there were females also standing in the scorching heat. how can they run after the bus. they would have waited in the heat for more 1/2 hour. the BEST authorities should take some action.
