This is to bring to your notice the rude behaviour of the driver (ID no 61379/2) Bus no MH 01 l 8229 of route no 35 from Marol maroshi depot on 7th May 2010 & Sunday 30th May 2010, On 7th May 2010 me & my sis-in-law were boarding the bus from front door at the parle signal, at that time the driver shouted loudly at us saying cant you all see the back door, in a teasing tone followd by bad words, later on near the airport area due to traffic as the bus was standing one man boarded the bus from the front door but the driver didn't utter a single word to him. And today on 30th may at 8.40pm i along with my 60 year old mother & younger sister was boarding the bus from the same signal my mom boarded the bus but both the driver & the conducter didnt allow her to get in & instead shouted at her to get down the bus & that they will not allow to board the bus from the front door & she had to get down the bus, & so i protested both of them for the same & asked the driver to give his batch no for which i forwarded my hand, that person pulled off my hand against the bar due to which i got scratches on my hand & came forward to hit me & because i shouted loudly he had to stop & the conductor came & stood in front of the entrance & didnt allow me to get in the bus & literlly throwed me out of the bus saying get out from the bus, as if the bus is their personal property. By the time my mom & sister had already boarded the bus from back, as i went back to board the bus the driver purposely drove the bus ahead & i had to board the running bus,where too the conducter came back to stop me from boarding the bus & asked my mother & sister to get down the bus, which of course we didnt.


When i went to the depot to complain against this, the person in charge took 10 minutes to give me the batch no of the driver standing right in front of him & was not responding me in a proper manner.

I want to bring to your notice that both the driver & conducter are appsalutely ill mannered persons & request you to kindly take some serious & strong action against both of them, & request the Best mange ment to teach their employees some manners.

BEST BUSES — Rude driver

The bus driver who takes the AC bus-524 from Borivili to Vashi is extremely rude and ill spoken. It feels like being harrased talking to him. Give some behaviour trainings to these 'public servants' who are behaving like 'king' on the road.
lol just kick him at his he deserves that..

    Dear Sir,

    On saturday i travelled from National Park to thane Through Route No: 700 Ltd ordinary Bus. Dated:[protected].Timing 9.10 from National Park. One lady geting up in the bus some where from Dahisar near Bridge Bus Stop & she want to get down at Ganesh Nagar mostly after 2 Stops. She asked for tickets & draw Rs.10 from her Purse & asked for tickets. Conductor Shouting her & Asked for Change but lady doesnt have change & lady also asked that if you dont have change than i will get down but conductor than asked her to take tickets, she gave the money, conductor given ticket & not given changed & by that time stop came & conductor ranged the bail & not given back the change Money & that lady littreally get down from moving bus than she felt down & not even care to stop bus.
    Conductor Round Batch No: 93838 & quare Batch No:3523. I am Mr. jayesh Vasa.[protected].stayed at Kandivali East & asked conductor about there behaviour but my tragedy is that out of 50 passenger i was the only person to fight with him.
    May i question to you that on that day lady felt down due to improper behaviour tommorrow might be from my home travel some body & faces same & on another day might be your family member.
    I request you to teach lesson to conductors.

    Bad Behaviour of punjab roadways conductors with students
    I strongly agree for this statement. As i have myself experience conductor not stopping the bus at the stop for sufficient time n i got hurt at my leg. n so was in deep pain holding my leg so when the conductor came for ticket i took time to give money he didnt came back so i went to him for ticket, he is shouting to me why i didnt took ticket when he came. When i said you need not say on dat i know i should take ticket so i have done dat, but what about you who are not stopping the bus for sufficent time so i got hurt n people like you wont even bother if some one die because of dis. still he was unneccessarily arguing on ticket. I hv the electronic ticket details- BUS NO- 168 date 25-4-11 from bhoiwada to wadala depot, time.: 20:02:38 bus no-Best 11008 n [protected]. I didnt knew i should take the batch number, next time will take care of this
    Sir as you stated in your complaint nobody speaks for anyone. THESE TYPES OF CONDUCTORS WONT ADMIT THEIR FAULT UNTILL N UNLESS THE SAME THING OR WORSE THING HAPPENS WITH THEIR OWN FAMILY MEMBERS TRAVELLING THROUGH BUS.
    i was about to board bus no. c-53 from kharghar today morning andbeing new to mumbai, my mistake was that being a lady i tried to board the bus from the front door.at this the bus driver did not allow me to get in towards the seat.i accepted my mistake and told him to wait as i would get down and board the bus from the back door. however as i got down the driver just started the bus and zoomed off.i am a working lday and missing one bus the frequency of which is around half an hour is a big deal.besides i have heard a case wherein a lady was crushed underneath a bus with the same first half of the story when she got down and was rushing towards the back door to board the bus as her kids were already on board, but the driver just started and tried to drive off.i do not know who is responsible to teach these drivers the basic courtesy of talking to a lady and then wait for the passenger to board.the bus number is MH-01 L-9846 and it started from kalambli at around 0815.
    I travelled from chandigarh to pathankot morining 5.00 am to 10.10 AM, on 27.6.2011, Bus no 051704-PC[protected]. from here want to go dharmsala, khighar HP etc . when i was step down from the bus I was socked. i could not find my laguage bag in the bus diky. I asked to condcutor, his behaviour is so rude and tlod me that is not responcible for the same.

    The conductor put my lagguage in dikky and at the end station, there was no lagguage in the dikky. the conductor is not ready to take responciblity of my lagguage. in such case the conductor is responcible for it.

    I approched the GM chandigarh he was out of station and other offical dont want to lesson my problem. i am complete mess. i have around cloth and valueble, if someone taken it by mistake please contact on my number [protected]

      Dear Sir,

      With due respect I would like to inform you that I am a regular commuter of AS 551 which is plying between Marol and Vashi Rly Station (Via… APMC). I am working for an education Institution in Vashi & take a bus from Airoli daily. Somewhere in March,
      I was waiting for the bus after attending a meeting, in Terna Stop to take a bus to Airoli.
      After waiting for almost 20-25 mnts the bus came but even after signaling it did not stop
      I took 513 (Ordinary ) to Airoli Depot and gave a written complaint. I have received a call after a week asking for the bus regn. No, to which I have replied I have not noticed and nobody waiting for the bus will take a note of the bus Regn . No. Again On March 24th I got a call from Ghatkpar depot and they have informed that instructions are given to all staff and such things will not happen again

      Today as I had a severe head ache and as I was aware of the bus timing I waited for the bus AS – 551 at Sector 28, Vashi bus stop to take bus to Airoli which comes around 13.00 hrs. The bus (MH – 01 AP 0039) reached the stop at 13.05 but the driver did not stop the bus even after signaling. There were hardly any passengers in that bus during that time and I have experienced it many a times when I traveled during that time.
      He cannot say that he did not see me signaling as there were 2-3 auto rickshaws with passengers and they were far ahead.. I had to take rickshaw from there to Koperkhairne bus stop and took 512 (Nerul Rly Stn to Mulind MH01 LA 6986) at 13.45 hrs. (almost wasting 45 mnts )

      Sir, It is really a torture, during this burning summer season, as the frequency is very less especially of AS 551 though the time gap is every half an hour . We never get AS 551 at a gap of half an hour . At the same time if drivers are behaving in this way especially with ladies …………….. What is the point in taking a pass for an A.C bus after paying almost 3 times of a normal ordinary pass ( which comes Rs.300 odd per month from Airoli to Vashi.)

      It is my sincere request to please look into the matter and take necessary action (as this is not the first time) so that the commuters will not suffer at the same time they can save their time and money.

        Hi Admin,

        Today I boarded BEST Bus No.MH 01 LA 5961 which is en route to MAROL AGAR at 8 pm to travel to SEEPZ.I sat on the 4th row in right side and the ticket collector was giving tickets to back seat persons.Suddenly ticket checkers have came up and started checking tickets,as at till that moment conductor not reached to me I was without ticket.So the ticket checker asked me for fine and charged too for Rs 55, when I explained him that conductor ahs not reached me, he said 'CHUTIYE tera farz hai conductor ko bula ke paise dena.''This was the moment that let me off as I believe this is not the correct way to communicate, also other commuters who were there they agreed to me that the behavior was not disciplined as a government employee.

        Please look into the matter and do take proper actions.

          Hi,

          This complaint is regarding the BEST BUS no. 334 management. First thing, its frequency is very very less from ghatkopar and also from Seepz (1 bus in 40 mins). Many times the bus dont even come in more than 1 hour. Many times after the 11.40 am bus leaves, the next bus comes at 12.45 pm.

          The Management of this bus is absolutely pathetic. Atleast there should be one bus in 20 min (The 340 bus comes in every 3 minute)


          The last 334 bus from Seepz leaves at 9.40 pm. I think it should be there atleast 10.30.


          Other buses which are not required comes two buses at one time like 226 (Its not that crowded, but they send two buses at one time).
          Can u reduce that one 226 bus and add a 334 bus.

          Hope u take drastic action on this mismanagement.

            Sir,
            The BEST AC Bus 524 which runs from Vashi APMC to Borivali East has no stop between Chheda Nagar (Chembur) to Shivaji Nagar stop. The distance between both the stops is around 2 kilometres. It is difficult for passengers of Indian Oil Nagar bus stop to catch the bus and getting down. The road being a highway is dangerous to walk for about 2 kilometres. I hereby request you to kindly have a stop of the above mentioned bus at the Indian Oil Nagar bus stop. I request you to kindly do the needful in the matter and oblige.

            BEST AC BUS — lack of bus from Malad (E) & LT powai

            As there is no frequency of BEST AC BUS No.461 from Malad (E) to Mulund & return. Morning as well as most of the evening time (4.45 PM to 5.45 PM).
            its true its difficult to walk on the highway pls give a stop at indian oil nagar & please give a early timing for bus 524 which should reach borivali by 9.20 a.m. please its difficult to change 3 trains in even first class compartment

              Dahisar Depot/Vikhroli(W) Depot,

              This is to bring to your notice that BEST Bus No. 489 starting from DAHISAR BRIDGE to SHIVAJI NAGAR DEPOT dose not stop at GODREJ. Though it is empty it’s never stops, if any one getting down at Godrej then driver stops the bus at far ahead from bus stand so no one can catch that bus. Regularly I travel from Godrej to Seepz but finding that it is very difficult due to very less frequency 524 and 489 and not stopping at Godrej.
              Please look into the matter at the earliest.

                This is ali mohd from mumbai want's to complaint you about a worker in biliing office of J.J Hospital in mumbai... the problem is that when we go for the payment of bill the person who work's their he always shut off the office many times in a day and gives the excuse of going to washroom so due to this we suffer many problems for the bill payment... so i am requesting you to pls do the needfull of my complaint and take a severe action on that worker.

Moholla Tandel Street, Mumbai-400 009.We were surprised to received the bill of same meter no in the name of Fauzia Aslam Patni, describing as 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of Masalawala Co-op Bank Building, 74 Moholla Tandel Street, Mumbai-400 009. Now we would like to know how the name was changed.
                Though the original meter is still in possession of Shakoor Gangji Memorial Hall. so please check the details how the name was changed, and who are the person who have helped him to make the change of name now the above meter numbers shows the name of Fauzia Aslam Patni. We are also sending the Xerox copy of previous bill for your ready reference. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                  I have an electricty meter no. D811658 and have consumer no.[protected]*5 in name of my father Velji C. Masani.

                  With regards to the above meter would like to state that my average montly billing is in the range of Rs.900 to Rs.1200 during the last couple of months and month consumption in unit is approx. 225 to 275 units.

                  To my shock and surprise I have received a Bill for Rs.9756/ - i.e. for 1168 units.

                  I think the total amount of electricity charges in a month for all the tenants in the premises might also not add upto Rs.9756/-.

                  I therefore request your goodself to help me in connection to the above matter.

                  Electricity Bills — Exorbitant rates

                  I was having analogue electric meter for past many years, but recenty Electricity department has introduced digital meters to all houses. Since then my electricity bills are running to high, which is out of my control. I tried to watch the meter running, I saw that even if the house is closed for 5-6 hours without any lights on, except for fridge and one 0 volt bulb for the altar, the meter shows consumption of about 4-5 units. This is really surprising. I am a working person,children go for school and paying exhobitant electricity bills are beyond my limits. I sometimes, wonder if Govt. have introduced these digital meters to all??? or is it that they install as per the whims and fancy of the Electricity dept.

                  I also like to bring to the notice of Electricity department that bills are issued to us once in 3 months or two months. The payment of such bills becomes to much at one time. For eg this month, being December, a very expensive month for us, since Christmas is fast approaching, I got electricity bill of 3 months to paid this month. Can anybody understand our plight??? Who is there for poor people like us to help us?? I have to take leave from work to sort out these problems. Due date, engery consumed from which date to which date is NOT at all visible.

                  BEST — Electricity bill even though no meter

                  My house electricity bill was suddenly coming to 20000 for 2 month in a 500 sq feet carpet house, this continued for 6 months and we coudnt afford to pay the bill, best people came and disconnected the meter which is not in place since 26.3.2010, we still recived a bill for the period of april to may for 568 units coming to 5700 rs which is impossible, we had complained about the bills being unfair and there being a possiblitiy of a mistake or robber from either the best or someone who is robbing the electricity before the line reaches our home, the best people have said that the bill is proper by testing the meter for correctness, they have ignored our complaints and we have been living without electricity for 3 months now, recently after they gave the bill of the 568 units they came home for an inspection , we were using the fan in our living room by taking a junction from our neighbours house, i am a disabled lady and cannot travel even to buy groceries and they have put me through so much pain.i need help and have no one to help me out. They have put me in a state of mental depression and im drawing towards taking the option of suicide. please help me.

                  To my shock and surprise I have been receiving bills for Rs. 2000/-, 3000/- 5000/- 6000/- from[protected]. For past two year I have been paying the bill. But now it has gone beyond my imagination of Rs 6000/- and that too I stay in a Single room (Chawl) I don't think even two rooms are receiving bill over Rs 1000/-

                  I therefore request your goodself to help me in this connection and would request you to depute your Engineer to check why our bill is coming so high and just increasing month by month

                    B.E.S.T. BUSES IN MUMBAI .CONDUCTOR NOT BEHAVE PROPERLY. THEY TRY TO BE OVER SMART .they dont allow to enter into bus even the bus was empty.

                    On 12.05.2010, I with my husband and daughter was travelling in an Honda city withich was driven by my driver. We had halted at Bandra Kala nagar signal when a BEST bus no.321 with the driver having badge no.26503 rammed our stationary vehicle from the right side completely damaging our vehicle. The BEST driver did not even bother to stop the vehicle but all o[censored]s from our vehicle got down and stopped him. While speaking to him the stupid driver had the audacity to laugh it off saying 'Ho gaya ab kya karun'. Even the police officers and the traffic police who were at the sight did not even bother to take the bus and the driver to the nearest police station saying it would cause loss to the BEST and we would have to bear the expenses. HOW RIDICULOUS! Finally all we could do was to go the nearest police station and file and FIR. I wnt you to take strict action against this particular driver and also all such drivers who are reckless in their driving and not bothered about the life of a common man and small children.                       ROUTE NO 25 FROM BACK BAY TO VIHAR LAKE IS ALWAYS COMING OUT OF THE DEPOT FULLY OCCUPIED BY THE BESTSTAFF ITSELF ESPECIALLY AT PEAK HOURS LEAVING NO PLACE OR SEAT TO THE BONAFIDE PASSENGERS. THESESTAFF MEMBERS ARE MAKING LOT OF HUES AND CRYS IN THE BUS AND EVEN SOME OFTHEM SEEN CHANGING THEIR UNIFORM SHIRTSINSIDE THE RUNNING BUS LEADING TO EMBRASSING POSITION TO THE PASSENGERS. I SUGGEST THAT EITHER THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD RUN SPECIAL BUSES TO THE STAFF ONLY AFTER EACH SHIFT OR LIMIT THE NUMBER OF STAFF CAN TRAVEL IN A BUS. OTHERWISE ROUTE NO 25 BE RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR BEST STAFF ONLY SO THAT THE PUBLIC HAS TO NOMORE WAIT FOR THIS ROUTE NUMBER AND FACE INCONVENIENCES.

                        When I was travelling with my family comprising 3 persons from VASI Bus depot ( at Navi Mumbai) to CBD Belapur Bus depot ( at Navi Mumbai) on 13.04.2010 at 2230 hrs through BEST Bus No 504 I have been charged @Rs.2.00 extra per person vide ticket no[protected]-978021.On enquiry to the conducter, he replied rudly this is the fare where as actual fare is Rs 8.00/ person .I concted Wadla depot to resister complain but they dont have any provision to register telephonic complain . Please do the need ful. Thanking you

                          Dear Sir,
                          I travel from Worli to Goregaon for my job regularly and have started using the AC-Super (King Long) A-70 Express services of B.E.S.T Undertaking. I have also bought the monthly pass for travelling in A-70 Express. (Pass/Smart Card no[protected] on the 3rd of April 2010
                          But today, 12th April 2010, the bus services had been terminated without any prior notice and information.
                          Also, not even the Ticket Checker had any knowledge of the sudden termination. I and other fellow passengers had to wait for hours but there was no bus services. Then later we were told by a bus conductor that there will be no bus service from 9:15 A.M. till evening as the company was going in loss.
                          I was taken aback at such a sudden change in schedule as earlier the schedule of A-70 was starting from 8:45am and ending at 8:25 PM with a frequency of one bus every 20 minutes (Time table on the site of www.bestundertaking.com)
                          We are feeling cheated and wish to bring it to your notice and expect help and action from your end to resolve the matter. Please take up the matter with the appropriate authorities and atleast ask them to have one bus at 10:30 A.M.

                            Nerul, Navi Mumbai in years has growned massively and is #1crowded suburb.
                            The city is not connected to Mumbai Suburbs like Powai, SEEPZ, in Andheri East and Lokhandwala, Andheri West to Mindspace Malad West. All the above places have lots of job oppurtinity and shold be connected. This route never gets highlighted ever in any news, but from my point of view connecting these suburbs to Navi Mumbai can help in easy travelling from one end to the other. I would request BEST authorities to start normal as well AC buses from and to Nerul. Thanks.

                            We wish to inform you that Sector No.27 of Nerul ( East) of Navi Mumbai is last sector of East side and at present Bus No. 507, 511 & 512 are up to Nerul Bus Depot and Bus no.506 is upto Nerul Railway Station.

                            We request you to extend this buses upto Air India Complex, Sector no.27 or Below Parsik Hill, so that it cover public from Nilgiri Garden, Ekta Vihar, Income Tax Colonly, Sector no.27, Sector no.25, Sector no. 23, Sector No.21, Sector no. 19 and 19A. About more than 5000 passengers will get benefit of BEST Busses.

                            We request you, please study the extended route / demand.

                            Are these greivances read by the authorities? tehre are so many people looking forward to extension of these buses. Any of the route wouldreally be help. As same as you have done wonders to route 504. It goes packed from and to Kharghar.

                            BEST buses in Mumbai — not starting the new passes

                            its my due request from the best buses to start the giving the new monthly passes or tell the confirmation date when it is going to be started.because no body from the best staff answer properly to the question.

                            Since last 1 month I trying to get BEST passes, but not getting any satisfactory responce from them.
                            one conductor said I will get new pass from BackBay Depot, I went there and got reply that you will get it on Monday. Again on Monday when I reached there, I got new responce saying " no, we are only renewing old passes and not issuing new one." and the reason they gave is " we are stabilizing and computerizing previous data so till the data is not computerized properly and fully, we will not issue new passes."
                            how can be they so irresponsible and unorganized that they do not have any computerized data though they were having Kaisen passes which they used to scan at times. STRANGE ...
                            All of a sudden they have decided to increase the bus fare, however there was no hike in Deisel or Petrol prices. and not like 50 paise or 1 rupee, 2 rupees on all ticket fare and one day pass which used to be for 15 rupees, they increased its price to 25 rupees... how can they do thier MAN MAANI AND NOBODY IS RESPONDING. EVEN OUR STATE GOVERNMENT, THEY ARE NOT THINKING ABOUT THE DAILY WORKERS. GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES MAY GET MEHANGAYI BHATTAA, BUT WHAT ABOUT US.. PRIVATE SECTOR WORKERS. THINK ABOUT OUR OFFICE BOYS, WHOS SALARIES ARE 5000/-P.M. NOW THEY HAVE NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO SPEND 500 -600 ONLY ON BUSS FARE. DO YOU REALLY FEEL THE BUSSES ARE CHEAPER ANY MORE.
                            IN LAST ONE MONTH ONLY I HAVE SPENT 750/- (25 * 30 DAYS) WHICH IS A BIG AMOUNT FOR ME.
                            IS THERE ANY RESPONCE ABOUT THE SAME.

                              dtd.31.03.10 BUS no. 380, Timing 6.30 evening near to Ghatkopar (E), T.C. is not in dress & without batch or punch, so one person said to show your batch, TC replies we are like CID we are not required any batch or dress whether on duty or not for checking ticket and using odd langauge and said to that person who is a monthly pass holder with ID & valid date to come for police station. TC told to that person dropp the bus. I dont know whether we can travel or not by BEST bus YES or No. if TC using any type of Odd Langauge. Because we are pay the Money and Trave. That person is also Right. If TC is on duty then he must be with dress or Batch & if Public ask him for batch if he is without dress then must be show our Batch. Because any one can say I am TC and show me your Tickets & Grab the Money. I am sorry to say this but that's truth.

                                BEST is operating a bus route no. 120 between Opera House and Dawa Bazar. There are just two buses which are supposed to leave at intervals of 15 minutes in both directions. Today, on 19th March, 2010, as one bus was out of order, there was no bus for more than 30 minutes in the evening at about 7:30 p.m., for people waiting at Dawa Bazar. The people who wait for this bus at Dawa Bazar are mostly senior citizens who want to board trains from Marine Lines Station and are unable to walk the short distance to the station. In the evening, the number of passengers waiting for this bus increases. Will the BEST reply for the few and low frequency of buses on this route. It is pertinent to note that during Navratra festival many long distance buses are diverted, cancelled and transferred to cater to the passengers for Mahalaxmi Yatra. Why did BEST staff not take similar action today when one out of just two buses was not in working condition. Several senior citizens and people wanting to rush home after work are inconvenienced due to the negligence and apathy of BEST. It is was only when one senior citizen rang up Opera House Bus Depot by his mobile, a bus was sent to pick up passengers at Dawa Bazar at about 8:30 p.m.

                                Its really so much pathetic what I have seen today in BEST.. I have lots & lots of complaint from you guys.
                                Firstly you people have stopped the Bus Pass from which all the people are facing problem to travel in one bus,
                                As I myself travel from Jogeshwari ( East ) W.exp Highway to sakinaka which I believe is most head paining travelling..We didnt get more freqyency
                                of bus to travel from this route , very limited buses are available which is mostly full packed,even driver wont allow ladies to enter from front door.
                                Previously atleast we were changing 2,3 bus and could reach to Office but now we cant do that also because no access of pass, Driver didnt stop there bus also
                                at bus stop we females also caught the bus running & literally lean outside the bus , which I believe you people know hoe much risky it is ..
                                which we ask the conductor to say some of the passenger go forward he told that is nt my job to do you people can take another bus, He is saying you people know bus is
                                so much crowded then why you came caught another bus we told how much time we should wait for the bus, you people dont halt on the stop & even you stop the bus where we have to
                                wait for respective stop buses , he screamed on me saying that we dont have enough of driver to drive ,so many problems we also facing that you go and ask in bus depot. Is this is the
                                way to speak with local communters. Is this is our problem to know all this , Even you yourself know most of the Mumbaikars travels by Bus & now even we cant afford Rickshaw also .You people
                                drive so many buses for those whom most of the people dont travel but for which you know most of the people work in that place you dont have driver to drive.
                                Day by day this is major problem happening even that day One lady fell out of the bus ,because when she was getting into bus Drive drove the bus without seeing she is getting in .
                                We Think We are totally Unsafe to travel from Bus also now...

                                  I boarded Bus NO: 303 with registration number MH01-LA-6778 on 6th Jan 2010 at about 6.10PM. The conductor of the bus approached me for ticket. I offered him Rs.10/ against a fare of Rs5/. The conductor first refused to take the note and asked me to render exact fare. I politely told him that; I do not have the requisite changes. The conductor then snatched the note from my hand pushed a ticket and a five rupee coin into my hand. He then scolded me with a very angry face. He told “bap ke bus samjh ke chale atein hain “.

                                  I lodged a complain at '[protected]@bestundertaking.com' .I received a reply telling that; they are investigetting the matter but; nothing has happened so far.

                                    The bus AS-525 takes a route from dindoshi to mhape.
                                    since this bus is very convinient to all regular office traveller a lot of crowd is observed during peak hours such as 8 in the morning and 6:30 in the evening.There might be aprrox 20-25 standing passengers.

                                    Since this is an AC bus such a crowded bus could be risky in near future.it would be better if the frequency is increased(during peak hours.for eg. from 8am to 9:00am and 6pm-7pm: frequncy should be after 10-12 mins) and so the load is reduced.it is better to prevent accidents.

                                      I have a serious complaint against Buses and Drivers plying in worli location particularly Jijamata Bus Stop. I am a regular traveller from Jijamata Bus Stop to Byculla Station from Bus No.154. These days the passenger crowd at this particular Bus Stop during peak hours( 8.30am- 10.30am) has increased so much, it becomes very difficult infact next to impossible particularly for girls to catch the bus.

                                      There are 3 primary reasons for not getting the bus :
                                      (1) The frequency of bus no. 154 is less and for some reason back-to-back 4 buses are sent one after another and then there is a time gap of half an hour for them to come back again. ( resulting in unnecessary delay to passengers )

                                      (2) The Bus Drivers and the Conductors do not halt the bus at the bus stop fearing the bus getting crowded.

                                      (3) If they halt the bus, they do not wait till the passengers get in the bus even if the bus is half empty. The conductor immediately rings the bell inspite of passengers waiting outside to get in the bus .

                                      I would like to bring to your notice today's incident. I was waiting at Jijamata Bus stop at peak hour 9am to catch bus no.154. As it was a peak hour, the stop was very crowded. I alongwith many ladies coudn't catch 2 buses from rear entry due to crowd jumping on one another to catch the bus. However, we even tried to catch the bus from front entry but none of the drivers showed empathy or sympathy on our situation and we were denied entry.

                                      Afterwards another bus no. 154 came and we had made up our minds to catch the bus from front entry as rear entry was not possible due to overwhelming crowd waiting to molest any girl who wishes to go through them. So we got in form the front entry but the driver was very adamant and he did not allow us even though we had tickets, when i said that " i have no problem coming form rear entry but he should wait till we board the bus to which he said yes i'll wait"
                                      But when we got down and moved towards rear entry, the conductor ringed the bell and the driver moved away. This is utter nonsense and frustrating .

                                      Pls advice what we should do in such situations or what steps you'll take to eradicate this problem.

                                      I have registered a complaint at Byculla bus depot against the driver ( id- 62959 ) and bus no- 7755 , complaint receipt no-30.

                                      We would like to suggest that :

                                      (a) since ladies seat is in near the front exit , we should be allowed to use the front gate during peak hours atleast at crowded bus stops. ( Jijamata Bus Stop)

                                      (b) The frequency of buses during peak hours should be increased and released at regular intervals.

                                      (c) Drivers and conductors should be breifed on consumer complaints at regular intervals so as to improve services and trust.

                                      If these basis things are brought into effect , this city would be a better place to live in .

                                      Hope higher authorities and decision makers will take note of same and bring the change we want to see.

                                        I am very disappointed by the BEST services, which is a very known thing nowadays.

                                        I was waiting for the bus at 9.15 am on 3rd March 2010 at kalina bus stop and an empty bus came around 9.45 and didnt wait at the stop inspite of showing my hand to the driver. This is not first time this is happening. Everytime the driver doesnt stop, whatever be the case. I hope the drivers understand the these buses are for public and for the conductors or the drivers. if this continues, then there will be a day when there will no people boarding BEST bus and taking some alternative option. I hope there should soon be another private bus company with good service for the public which will definately make difference. then the best employees will understand what customere means to them....
