Cancellation of Hotel booking
I had booked Travelodge Harbourfront in Singapore (the hotel) from Jun 22 to Jun 26 through Agoda but due to room availability it was done in two separate bookings, one for Jun 22 to Jun 24 and the other for Jun 24 to Jun 26.
Unfortunately I was tested covid positive on Jun 19 and under the Singaporean covid protocol, I had to be self-isolated. There was no chance for me to move around to check in the hotel on Jun 22. I asked Agoda for cancellation and refund for reason of force majeure, though the bookings are non-refundable.
Agoda promptly approved the one for 24-26 June and refused the one for 22-24 June. I chased again they finally replied, twice on Jun 21 and 22, confirming that
" Please kindly be informed that we have successfully contacted our supplier to contact the hotel directly to confirm free cancellation without having you to provide a medical certificate as we understand that another booking made with the same hotel has been successfully cancelled free of charge."
Based on their reply, I felt assured that the cancellation and refund was duly taken care of. However, on Jun 23 on my numerous chase they replied that
"There is a miscommunication whereby we meant that we succeeded in contacting our partner supplier to relay the message to the hotel that you requested for a free cancellation without a medical certificate as the other booking was canceled free of charge."
My questions:
1. Why is there a different treatment to the two bookings, one was cancelled and refunded the other is not approved?
2. Agoda had replied me twice and based on my understanding to the wordings, I do not need to provide any medical certificate and they will process my refund request. There was no miscommunication on this. Agoda had to keep its words.
3. The hotel confirmed me that even for no show, they would only charge a no-show fee equivalent to the first night charge, Agoda did not confirm this insisting the booking is non-refundable with the intention to forfeit the whole sum.
Despite their earlier agreement of not requiring a medical certificate to process the refund, Agoda continued to insist this a prerequisite in their latter correspondences. So I finally got a doctor’s letter (as I had consulted this doctor during my covid infection period) confirming the dates of my infection and passed it to Agoda on July 2. With this letter, Agoda rejected again on grounds that the letter did not contain details. In fact the letter has contained all details and was accepted by the Hong Kong Government, which imposed very stringent inbound quarantine restrictions, to allow me to return to Hong Kong.

My hotel bookings ID[protected] &[protected] in ganga Darshan hotel in varanasi dated-17.06.22, unfortunately We have not reached in varanasi due to train cancelation reason for riot in country against Agneepath government scheme.so please extended my hotel booking date or if possible money refund process.when I talk in hotel for above matter then hotel manager Mr.Ravi tell me contact Agoda.

I booked a deluxe room in hotel Adyasha Inn through Agoda app for 18 June 2022. When I called that hotel they refused that I have a booking at the hotel.How is this possible?I feel like I am being cheated....

Room booked and paymenr made. But not allowed to check in
I had booked a room through agoda app and full payment made online. Then I called the booked hotel and confirmed my booking. But when I reached the property hotel staff asked me to wait for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes they asked me to wait for another 1 hour. Even after 4 hours they could n't give me a room. So I had to go to another hotel and take a room with high price. So kindly take necessary actions against agoda and make arrangements to refund my amount

The company did not provide me refund.
I could not avail the hotel service i opted for through agoda. The staff at the hotel was highly rowdy and mishaving with us. Despite me telling agoda about the issue that i feel unsafe at this place. They took zero action against the hotel.

I m complaining about hotel booking on agoda
We have booked two rooms on agoda for 11th June 2022 at OYO78744 Limra residency. after the booking is done i tried to find the contact details of the property to check for my booking with the property but was unable to find the details in my booking, then i tried for contact details of the agoda same was also not available. later we went to the property and asked for our booking, we were sent back from the gate saying no rooms available and we dont have any booking. i tried to find the contact details of the agoda and property but could get only mail IDs and could not contact anyone but OYO and the contact representative of OYO said we cannot find your booking as the booking is done on agoda website. Now i does not know how to get my refund amount back. Please help me to get the amount back to my account.

İ made a booking on 10th june 2022 for a hotel on agoda.com that showed last room available everytime i opened the website but after the payment and booking confirmation, on arrival at hotel the owner speaks rudely and says no room is available and agoda is not accepted.

I Booked a hotel to stay from the Agoda website for the FabExpress Green-tree Inn Chennai with the booking id:[protected] at an address of No:27/14A, North Crescent Road, T . Nagar Chennai India, 600017, and paid the full amount of 1852.62, But when we try to check in there is no hotel in that location, tried to contact Agoda but they didn't respond through call and help center.
So please do needful

Refund for Hotel Booking
Sir, I had booking in hotel Sarovara Inn Chennai on 28 and 29 may. I reached hotel morning at 8 am and hotel reseptionist as they are saying check in time is 12 noon. I have contacted Agoda customer care. Agoda is saying hotel denied for refund hence they can't refund.

You've been credited with spoiling our Kashmir Vacation

I’m Floyd Gonsalves, a resident of Mumbai, India & wanted to highlight a serious lapse on Agoda’s part that led me & my family through an intense trauma during my stay in Kashmir in May’22.
I have an Agoda confirmation from a booking done on 3rd Match for a stay at ‘The Rosewood Hotel – Gulmarg’ between 6th May – 8th May.
As luck would have it – I called up Rosewood on 1st May to check my reservation & they confirmed they had no reservation in my name.
I called up Agoda repeatedly between 1st May to 5th May to voice my concern
Till the 3rd of May there was no response & the only thing I was told is that Agoda is looking into it & would get back
On 3rd May – one of the agents informed me that Agoda’s India Partner (yatra, I guess) had goofed up & had not sent the confirmation voucher to the Hotel resulting in the issue. They said Sharmin (from Yatra) would call up & make the necessary alternative arrangements for my stay. I was also provided with her desk no. & Sharmin bluntly told us that she would not entertain any requests from customers as she was accountable only to Agoda. Agoda asked us 24 – 48 hours to revert
On 4th May – I called in desperately as no one from either Agoda/Yatra called in & my check in time was getting close.
On 5th May – an agent called up to gave me 2 options of either cancelling & getting a full refund OR Agoda helping to get an alternate booking. I chose the latter however in 2 hours received a confirmation that no rooms were available. I told them I was flexible & ok even to stay in 2 different hotels on each of the dates. I also told them about the rooms available in other hotels but they confirmed they could not do that.
They offered me a compensation of 1 nights stay + full refund of Rs. 13192/- which I REFUSED.
Let me ask you a few questions
• Was I at fault in this whole drama & why did my wife, kid & I go through all this trauma?
• Agoda nicely shrugged off its responsibility by offering me Rs. 13192 + $87.29 which is a paltry amount.
• My hotel was booked for 2 nights 2 months in advance. At the last moment I booked myself an alternative accommodation in
The Heevan Resort via Cleartrip for the 6th May at Rs.11760/-
The Gulmarg Resort for Rs. 5000/- . This was a shabby hotel but I had no options but had to put up as there were no other hotels available. The linens were filthy, bathroom was dirty & its not a place that I usually stay at & here I was with my wife as I had no place to stay for the night. I could barely sleep & suffered immensely over the next 2 days due to lack of sleep.
I’m a Marriott’s Elite Gold Member & even at Srinagar I was put up at Four Points by Sheraton. Agoda has put me & my family through so much of stress in my entire 7 day vacation & you guys offer me a paltry 1 night additional compensation for no fault of ours? Is this the way you work?
I’m extremely sorry to have booked the hotel through your website & spoilt my entire vacation. Keep the $87.29 to yourself – you’ve spoilt my entire vacation & I’ll ensure I’ll get justice that is due to me!

Fraud by Agoda
I booked the hotel in Dehradun from Agoda, however when I reached there with my family the hotel staff denied to accomodate me and demanded extra money in cash.
I reached out to the Agoda customer support but they haven't taken any action nor they refund my money.

I was not aware that this hotel residency Andheri is not a couple friendly hotel I only got to know when I reached the hotel and the staff asked me to connect Agoda but there no way to contact Agoda I want my refund back

Agoda booked a property that is closed from PAST 3 years

I had booked a property via Agoda for my holiday in Shimla between 15-17th April. Agoda gave booking confirmation and charged 13500 for 2 night stay. I called the property on 14th April for some personal request and was shocked to hear that this property was closed from PAST 3 years. It’s unimaginable that Agoda doesn’t know about this from past 3 years and charged me unnecessary. On top of this, I asked them to give me alternate accommodation, but even after wasting my 3 hours on 14th April (day before the travel), they didn’t book anything and I was forced to book another hotel at double the cost because of last min booking surge in prices. I want my original money of 13000 fully refunded as well as I would like to claim the full 25000 also as loss from Agoda.

SilverKey Executive Stays 76611 Nirsukh Palace via agoda and got booking confirmation email as attached.
On reaching hotel i was denied my booking saying it was already full. I tried reaching customer care on mobile but it always says number switched off. I never had such a pathetic and embarrassing experience ever in my life.
I demand not only refund on my booking but also compensation for the frustration caused.
I want to receive a call back on +91-[protected]

My confirmed booking against which check in was denied
This is with reference to the above booking ID, when we visited the hotel for our check in with senior citizen parents and a minor child we were denied check in stating that there is no such booking in our name and were not allowed to check in to the hotel.The staff was not ready to help us even though we showed the confirmed booking on account of which after 2 hours of mental trauma in a desert area we had to find another accommodation and hotel to check in which is unwarranted for.The worst experience was that there was no customer service number to contact agoda and the hotel was continuously insisting that only agoda could help us and it is not in their purview.
Looking for an immediate resolution and compensation for the ordeal.

As per hotel manager, he had not got booking confirmation.

Amount debited but no booking confirmation recd
While booking a hotel via Agoda app, money got debited but rec'd no confirmation from Agoda. Upon checking with Agoda, they are confirming no payment rec'd. the merchant as per bank statement is Retail Domestic PT MUMBAI, which Agoda is denying.
I see several such complainants against Agoda and the said merchant creating fraud. however not the bank or Agoda has blocked this merchant.

Booked wrong dates of hotel due to technical fault
I was trying to book hotel for 4 people in delhi for 31st dec. But due to technical fault, it got reset to the same date I was searching the hotel, for one person and got booked. There is no way to contact agoda for the cancellation. Called hotel multiple times but they kept saying that they have no booking for us.
Want my money to be refunded back from agoda as its their fault and have no customer support in place.

I booked a hotel on Agoda named colors nest and paid rs 4000 in advance, once I started calling the hotel management they don't respond but later on, I had gone to the location shown on the map. no one has even heard the name of the hotel in that area. that is the 1st thing I have to experience on my trip and that too at 1 am-midnight. To all my surprise I suddenly saw a hotel named as tourist nest similar to colors nest. I had gone there to check the rooms and voila it is the same room that I booked but they say they don't even use Agoda. they say the same happened with them 3 days ago. I tried to reach Agoda but there is no customer forum that provides instant solutions. The one thing that got my eye is Agoda was showing that the hotel is booked 3 times on that day but there is no other booking.

Agoda is doing scam we booked hotel at night and searching for hotel in map location was weong finally we found hotel then they said we are not rigester with agoda then how agoda is taking booking my 2336 money is deducted also booking was confrim at night we have very horrifying experience and they didnt provide any contact info to complain
