Hi,

My Credit Card Company HSBC is harassing me to pay extra Amount saying it as fine on my Credit Card bill.

Initial Amount of the bill is 18000 Rupees, but they are asking me to pay the 35000 Rupees which is exact the Double amount of my bill.

I am ready to pay the 18000 Rupees, but they are saying if i pay the 18000 i will not get the NOC, but they will give me the settlement letter.

They are continuously torching me mentally to pay 35000 Rupees.

They are calling me thru the Recovery Agency.

They are calling me from following number

    sir , i applied for a credit card in oct2007 .i received a credit card though ,but i do not got the pin for the credit card,& with in next working day i got a sms regarding pending bill on that particular card .on contacting customer care axix bank ,they said u have used card for 40000 inr,which i have nt ,,om requesting them ,they agreed on telephonic conversation that its a fraud .so i should not be worried..and eventually after that ..my wallet was pikpocketed and i lost my cards ..and filled an fir regarding same .now my salary account is with axix bank from last 3 years ,,and rit now when i shifted to delhi .they deducted my salary OF 10000( dec 2011 ) ,claiming as payment for that bill (40000 inr ) without informing or asking me .
    now when i contacted axix bank .they said u have nt made a payment of 40000 in 2007 which now became 80000 (with interest ).

    PLEASE HELP ME OUT SIR .
    I HAVENT USED CREDIT CARD .
    SO WHY SHOULD I MAKE THE PAYMENT .AND IF I WAS A DEFAULTER ..WHY W'D I OPEN A SALARY ACCOUNT WID AXIX BANK AFTER COMING TO DELHI

      Through this post I would like to update you that there are some recovery agencies affiliated to reputed private sector banks resorting to threatening calls and using abusive means of communication. I and my Wife have experienced it this afternoon...The full and final settlement letter dated 26th September , 2002 by Stand Chart Bank, Hyderabad..We have tried to explain the same thing to these guys..They have not listened to us and started using abusive language and also started threatnening us..We have also written the same to the bank authorities and they have assured that no outstanding is lying with my account and also advised me to initate legal action against them.

      Initially you would receive a call from [protected] and the person calling identifies himself as Uday Shankar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, threatens us that e is an non bailable arrest warrant against you for non payment of Credit Cards Bills. Usually they refer to the payment which you might have done / settled more than 5 years ago.

      He would share a Delhi based number [protected] belonging to some Ashok Pradhan who refers to your case and he threatens that in case you do not deposit the amount immediately into bank, you would be arrested within few hours. They succeed in creating panic and call you continuously creating fear and confusion.

      Request you all not to react or respond to their threatens.

      If one of the readers of this post has good network in Police Department, I humbly request you to escalate with them and bring them to justice.

      The best way to avoid this kind of situation is to use your credit card judiciously and pay bills on time.

            28Sep 2011 i received a call from delhi and saying that we are calling from promotional department and u r selected because of your good payment record o[censored]r ICICI card and also it was recommended by CIBIL. They told us that we are giving you so much of offers as promotional offers and u will received a complete package of your gifts and other vouchers in 7 days time and you would not have to pay anything for these offers. But i wondered and kept on asking from which bank / company it's is offered. But they r not telling that and kept on briefing me about the offers which are not at all useful for any person.They give all steps to me how to follow voice record. And they forced to attend the next call which will be automated voice recorded call and from where they will charge from credit card.

            Then Rs.5500 is debited from ICICIBank credit card. i got message from ICICI bank. that only i unserstood the voice call for amount charge from my card. Now i complained to ICICI Bank regarding this. They told that still amount is exists in Cell Next solutions. Still Cell Solutions have not transferred to value4rupees merchand. I complainted to Cell Next solutions. Still I'm checking Cell Next solutions and value4rupees merchand.

              I am SBI credit card holder , In statement generated on[protected] my total outstanding was Rs.12317 , As my card limit is Rs.12000 my card was over limit hence they applied over limit charges of Rs. 500 plus service tax.

              I paid Rs.1210 on 06/09/20211 hence my account came under card limit and after adding finance charges too it is not crossing card limit.

              Then too when statement generated on 18/09/2011, They again applied over limit charges of Rs.500 plus service tax without any reason , they are not understanding value of money for humans,

              KIndly help me and instruct SBI to reverse over limit as well as finance charges for the statement generated on 18 / 09 / 2011.

              I shall be thankful to you for this.

                With reference to the subject captioned above, I would like to bring to your notice that the said Pledge Form has already been sent by Registered Post by SBI, Branch, BT Ganj Roorkee on 14th / 15th July 2011 by Regd Post., where I have Saving Bank A/c & holding TDR.. I was assured that the card will be reactivated within three days of the receipt. But I have received the below mail, which clearly shows lack of communication within your group.

                The ultimate sufferer is the customer i.e. myself.

                Besides above, when the card was issued I was informed that TDR of Rs 20,000/- is sufficient as Security Amount for Credit Card. At no point of time the TDR was less than Rs 20,000/-. So how come my Credit Card was blocked ? And that too, without any prior information?

                You can feel the embarrassment I faced when this BLOCKED CARD was presented for payment ! The Bank owes an answer to this.

                I am following the matter with the Customer Care, without any positive response. You are once again requested to look into the matter, and take corrective action immediately under intimation to undersign,

                      your lucky it has happened with your sbi card. these charges are quite low compared to other bank credit cards. this is day light robbery and you have to be tuff to face this all. call the customercare and get it reversed. do not hangup. if they dont tell them this would be the last time you would be calling or even paying. and tell them to make a note of it...

                          This is with ref to the above subject, I Mr.Thouti Krishna Mohan reddy S/o Late Thouti vasudeva reddy age 41 years R/O H.No.1-1-774/A Gandhi nagar Hyderabad-500048. It is very pain to see my name in CIBIL as defaulter. whereas I have not applied for any kind of loans either in secured & nor in unsecured in any banks.

                          I approached a bank for home loan in the year 2009 it got rejected but there was no clarity given by the banker and i was under impression that due to my collection agency business profile it got rejected so I left the matter.

                          But few months back I applied for car loan then I got the clear picture about rejection. Being a respected citizen in the society and running multiple businesses it is hurting my feelings and spoiling my image in the society as defaulter.

                          For my surprise till now no banker has called me or visited my place for the outstanding. If any body would have called me or intimated me about this i could have reacted it earlier. Request u to kindly provide me the details of the bank.

                          Please provide me the details and if possible the application form on which signatures and valid documents are taken. If you fail to provide me the details within a month iam force to file case on CIBIL.

                          Credit Card — Wrongly showing as credit card defaulter

                          Myself & my wife had applied for a home loan recently to Bank of Baroda.

                          We were shocked to hear from Bank of Baroda that there is a 'Return of' being shown against my name of Rs. 3523/- against some credit card and thus the bank is unable to sanction us home loan. Control no. for the same is[protected].

                          I have paid and settled all my dues till date against all credit cards which i may have used in the past.

                          We do not know which Financial Institution has reported my name in the defaulter list.

                          This is utmost unfair for a customer who is sincere and has settled all the dues and has never defaulted in any way.

                          I have never received any information from CIBIL asking for a confirmation if the name of a customer is listed in defaulter list whether is it correct?

                          I seek justice to get my name removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect so that we can take home loan.

                          Please help.

                          I was shocked to hear from HDFC Bank that there is a 'Return of' being shown against my name of Rs. 35, 000/- against some credit card and thus the bank is unable to sanction my personal loan. Control no. for the same is[protected].

                            I Ms. Susanna Rebeiro holding silver credit card no. [protected] of Bank Of Baroda wish to opt for settlement on principal amount for the same I was not able to get proper answer from BOBCARDS customer care no one was able to provide settlement procedure. Then I put up a mail to crm on 13th Oct2010 still I fail to get response from Bobcards CRM. On 7th January’ 2011 I happened to speak Ms.Jyoti –VPCCM. Accordingly I put forward my details to her for settlement. I asked for detailed summary, wherein Ms Jyoti is telling me to refer monthly bills she said we don’t provide any statement. I put up a mail to VPCRM AND MD but there was no response from there end also till date.
                            I am surprise such big organization and no one is providing proper answer nobody is knowing procedure of settlement , in this market customer care is so important and I felt while having communication with staff and also with seniors that they are not at all bother to provide service to client.
                            I have used BOB card and so there was genuine call from my end for settlement no one from BOBCard called up for non-payment. I am following from October’2010 and still matter is not solved,
                            Please look into the matter and please get me settlement on principal amount.

On 29th January, 2011 between 12.00 AM to 1.00 AM, I went to Express Service Station, Hosur, Tamilnadu for filling petrol to the vehicle. The Petrol Bunk person took my card, he swiped for Rs. 1,644.16( Rupees One Thousand Six Hundren Fortyfour and Sixteen Paise (25 Ltr of Petrol) and he told that the card is not connected to the network and slip not generated.. Then I paid one thousand Rupees and filled the petrol for one thousand. While checking my account on 4th February, 2011 the amount of Rs. 1,644.16 is debited to my account please credit back the amount which is not utilised and there is no signed acknowledgement for swiping the card.

                              Please let me know back if any further information you may desire in this connection.

                              I'm using the Credit Card of AXIS Bank and I did purchasing for more than Rs. 4000.00 in the very first month and I gave the cheque before the due date woth Rs. 2000.00 through cheque for dated[protected] which was cleared on the same date as my due date use to be on 17th of every month and for the rest of the amount I gave the post dated cheque for Rs. 2100.00 of dated[protected] which according to their records they presented to my bank on[protected] which was actually not presented to my bank as I checked up bank statement and they charged me Rs. 300.00 extra as for that as cheque return charges. Actually they presented the same cheque for Rs. 2100.00 on[protected] after a long followed up by myself.

                              Kindly suggest what should I do about it?

                              I had been issued card by SBI Card, and was told that as a doctor my card will not have any annual or add on charges.I have been extremely prompt with my payments.I was charged the above charges along with interest in bill dated10 Jan 2008.On calling Ur helpline I was told that the above charges have been reversed. I am pained to note that in bill dated 10 Feb 08 that the above charges have not been reversed. Is SBI out to cheat me, there is no question of any interests as I have paid all bills in full before due dates. If SBI cannot give service though none is expected, it being a govt.entity, it has to be non performing, I still expect an answer to my complaint

I must put on record at the outset that your way of talk or i would say your tone of conversation was not customer friendly but was very rough. You were never prepared to listen to customer but were harping on your version just to cover up your accounting lapses for which you wanted me to suffer financially. This is not new to your bank but all international banks dealing with customer services speak like this. They never listen to customers but are always insisting on justifying the wrongs done by them or their staff. When the bank account is at fault and does not maintain the account properly or update it even then they put the entire blame on the customer and to harass them for no fault of theirs. When the bank is not prepared to listen to customer then why the customer should listen to you Mr. Uday. I was required to pay six EMIs for the purchase of mobile phone costing Rs.8379/- and I have paid all the six EMIS accordingly as per details given below. How you account for in your statements or reflect them, that is none of my business. Whether you generate the statement on 17th or do not generate it at all or generate as per your convenience, I am nobody to dictate you. I have completed honestly the transaction made through your bank by paying the six EMIS of Rs.1396/50 starting from 4th June to 4th November, 2008 and have nothing to add to what I have said. As regards payment of minimum amount, I will definitely make payment well before the due date but only the payment which is due to you and will not make payment of an amount which has already been made and not reflected by you in the statement. Thats your fault and not mine. After deducting Rs.1396/50 from the amount of Rs.3200/-, I will definitely pay for which you need not worry or remind me. I am fully aware of my commitment.                               Barclays bank Credit card — Non-Refund of excess credit payment

                              Dear Barclays Customer Care Officer,
                              Good Morning to you
                              I am a serving Defence Officer presently transfered at North East. While transfering the on line credit cards payment pertaining to Sep 10, I had eroneously transferred Rs.7345/- excess into my credit card account vide the transaction reference No. MBBR[protected] dated 28 Sep 10. Later I had spoken to Mr. Rakesh on telephone on 30 Sep 10 and requested him to refund the amount. The officer was very courteous and assured me the needful and gave a reference to my request as No.CAS 4240377 dated 30 Sep 10. After two weeks there was an enquiry from another officer of your bank and assured to transfer within four working days. Today it is 27 Oct 10, almost a month has been elasped since my eroneous transfer. Does your bank has the system of redressing the customers complaints?
                              Kindly refund the amonth on priority.

                                I had made a 9 month EMI transaction at Saravana Gold Palace in Chennai on December 2010.
                                In the attached screenshot (credit statement) two EMI are calculated in the first month itself. I talked to customer care on 21 Jan 2011, I not received any correct responses.
                                I am not able to pay the two EMI in the single month. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

                                  SUB : ABSOLUTE CALLOUS ATTITUDE of CIBIL DEPARTMENT towards my CREDIT RATING

                                  This is to bring to your notice that , in last 9 months , I have applied for Personal Loan at 7 different banks , and each time it has got declined . The reason cited by the credit officers of all these banks is that , my CIBIL report is bad , due to some 21000 outstanding shown against some credit card, showing closed in 2006.

                                  Sir , this is just shocking and something damaging my reputation .

                                  I do not have any outstanding against any Credit Card company , nor I am a defaulter.

                                  Problem is that , the Credit Officers of all these banks , from where my personal loan applications have got declined , are expressing their inability to do anything at CIBIL and I do not have contact details or any knowhow or whereabouts of anybody at CIBIL whom I can escalate this issue.

                                  I have applied Housing Loan on June but bank people said my name is on defaulters list and asking me to get report from cibil. Within two days I got the report from Cibil it shows One of my loan accounts closed but still it reflects in cibil account and other account shows bank only has to repay Rs.19 I explained to the bank and it got cleared and loan disbursed. Again September I applied loan they said again my name is in defaulters list, I sent mail to cibil mentioning my account no and asking my report but they took one week to reply and asking me to sent DD for Rs.142 and i have also sent but since 45 days passed i have not received any communication from CIBIL in spite of several mails. Am tried several times to contact CIBIL office no one is there to help and sort my issue.
                                  And my loan process also stopped and am finding very difficult to manage.

                                  Requesting any suggestion to solve the above issue.

                                  I donot have any existing repayment issues with any Banks. I am holding an active credit card for HSBC and also have a car loan with SBI for past two years without any complaints re-payment defaults. However, when I am applying for credit card with other Banks I am getting a reply as quoted below. Could somebody help me to get out of this issue with CIBIL.

                                  "We have reviewed your application. We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to approve your application for a Citibank Card, as feedback from Credit Bureau of India Ltd (CIBIL) does not meet our minimum credit criteria.Please note this does not mean negative credit feedback."
                                  I also received the similar information when I applied for ABN amro credit card. Strange things is I have my saving account with them for last more than 10 years with average amount more than 1 lakh and I do not have any other credit card.

                                  This is to bring to your notice that , in last 9 months , I have applied for Personal Loan at 7 different banks , and each time it has got declined . The reason cited by the credit officers of all these banks is that , my CIBIL report is bad , due to some 21000 outstanding shown against some credit card, showing closed in 2006.

                                  Sir , this is just shocking and something damaging my reputation .

                                  I do not have any outstanding against any Credit Card company , nor I am a defaulter.

                                  Problem is that , the Credit Officers of all these banks , from where my personal loan applications have got declined , are expressing their inability to do anything at CIBIL and I do not have contact details or any knowhow or whereabouts of anybody at CIBIL whom I can escalate this issue.

                                  Dear Mr. Shib,

                                  I would suggest you get a copy of your credit rating report directly from CIBIL. All you need to pay is Rs.142 and send them the copy of the receipt along with your ID proof and address proof (address should match what you give in the application form). Once you get the report check if there is any outstanding against your name and your report (good or bad rating). Since you have only one card earlier, call that card company and ask for details. If they say there are outstanding ask them the reason. If there is something you need to pay (if any fault on your side), please pay or else you might not get good rating in CIBIL,

                                  If there is no outstanding send them a mail asking to give clear report to CIBIL, mark a copy to bank ombudsman and also a copy to RBI. This will get sorted out in a weeks time.

                                  Let me know if this make sense to go after.

                                  i HAD TAKEN A CAR LOAN AND PERSONAL FROM SBI IN THE YEAR 2007 AND 2006 RESPECTIVELY, I HAD CLOSED BOTH THE AGREEEMNTS IN THE YEAR 2011 AND 2010 SUBSEQUENTLY. I HAD GOT THE NOC LETTERS FROM THE RESPECTIVE BANK.
                                  BUT THE LOANS STILL APPEAR AS LIVE IN CIBIL REPORTS WHICH IS DAMPERING MY CREDIT SCORE.

                                    Respected sir,
                                    Three years ago I had been offered by your department to make full and final settlement of my credit card no. mentioned above. I had been asked to pay Rs. 42000 in two instalment of Rs 21000 each in just 25 days. I was not able to pay such a big amount in such a short period. Therefore I requested your representative to pay me this amont in appropriate time and instalments. After discussing this matter with his concerned officer on mobile phone he asked me to pay this amount in four instalments in 70 days. I gave my consent on this. He mentioned the instalments break up on the offer letter in his hand writing. He also gave the receiving for four cheques of Bank of Rajasthan those I had given for the settlement purpose. Those post dated cheques were given by me on 21/12/07 for Rs 20000, 6500, 6500 and 6500 dt 29/12/07, 29/01/01, 26/02/08 and 29/03/08 respectively. The cheques nos. were 33673, 33674, 33675 and 33676. A cash payment of Rs. 2500 was also received from me (vide receipt no. 4243397) on 21/12/07 as a initial payment of the settlement. In this way I made a total payment of Rs 42000 in 70 days as I had been asked. For cheques no 33674 and 33675 cash payments of Rs. 13000 were received by your representative (vide receipt nos. 0005756 and 0005757) on 7/03/08 because these cheques could not get cleared. I also paid a penalty for Rs 1500 (vide receipt no.6355745) on 21/08/08 for bouncing of cheques.
                                    Even after all this exercise I had not been issued no dues certificate by your deptt. Therefore you are requested to do the needfull for issuing me no dues certificate because your deptt. is still showing me a defaulter and asking me again to pay a huge amount of Rs 68000. If I do not get justice from you, I will be forced to move my application to the higher authorities.

                                          First & formost I have been complaining to your bank for last couple of months to deliver bills on time has gone unheard. Normal & standard reply I have been getting is we are concerned & your policy of how you charge late fee& othercharges. Following are concered area's

                                          # I have been prompt to make payment & haven't been always using revolving credit facilities. From day one I always made payment on reciept of the bill.

                                          # Last couple of the month your courier company misinformed your bank that my postal address have changed which is not so. This is verified by your bank & found to be false. Delays in payment is happened due to not reciet of the bills. And follow to get bills is always from my side if you check the records. However by the time I make payment, However next bill is generated without realising the fault on your side & therefore late fee. interest charges alongwith services tax are levied.
                                          # I have been writing to you on this however off late i was getting standard replies regarding how do you do billing without realising that there is delay from your side to deliver the bill.

                                          # I have written several time & also exlpained to Mr Rajiv Pandey who is currently Branch Manager at CBD Belapur.I have explained everytime in my mail, how apyments are made & asked your credit card department to tally account. However you accounts department isnot bother to take corrective action & never tally the accounts.

                                          # My outstanding according to you was Rs 1170 & additional purchases were made. However my purchases has never gone crossed my credit limit, then why was my credit card was blocked?

                                          # I will surely make the payments of purchases made by me. However if you continue to charge interest & late fee on the amount which according to me isn't outstanding without tallying the account. i don't think its fare & I will have no option to discontuine banking with your bank.

                                          # Currently i m HNI customer alongwith Dmat account with your bank, Because this approach I have shifted my home account to another bank.



                                          Please don't send me generalised credit policy which explains how billing is made. Please tally account.

                                          Can please expalin?? why my card was blocked when my credit is upto Rs 64000. I would expected your bank to atleast call up & inform in advance. Now that you have blocked the card please tally account & close the issue.

                                          Last month, I met with an accident which led me to be on bed rest for about a fortnight as a result the last month payment could not be made in time, resulting into charges levied on my card, amounting to Rs.535.85*(Rs 400-Late fee, Rs.85.81-Interest, Rs,41.20 & Rs.8.84-Service Tax).

Sir, Actually, she has told me on yesterday(28-07.10) that she will be sending especially one representative to my office at Sathy to collect the payment. So, i have waited the whole day but no such representative has come for the collection.On today morning[protected] she again called me and advised that she will be sending the collection agent on today.I told her not to send any representative to my office i will arrange the payment then i went for the meeting. She has denied all my conversations and scholded me very badly and she conveyed all my officials at my office here at sathyamangalam also to my head office at palladam about the nonpayment. My total reputation was spoiled by her. Also now, my job here is questioned. I have got high opinion on your bank.Inspite of my repeated request she did'nt here what iam telling and scholded me whatever she wish also made a question to my job.Now iam in standstill position what to do? Hence i bring this subject for your kind perusal and a very strong action such type of behaviours and save my job. Also pls. provide me the top officials maid id's so as to convey my position to them also about how the customer was wrongly handled by Ms.Nancy.

                                              A long time back (30th May 2008) I was perches one air ticket with my barcly credit card on that transaction I found one dispute of Rs. 129/- when I was getting your credit card statement.

                                              Then same time I was called to your call center asked for the same. When I was talk they are saying you can give your rest payment, and for Rs. 129/- you send the dispute latter to us (by mail. And send currier also at H.O Narimen point ) also I was gated one form by barcly bank by mail that was dispute form I fill and send it the same according to your instruction with my attached latter. After that I was gated the call from Delhi
                                              They are saying you have give the Rs. 140/- than matter is clear, than I will do the same. ( My cheque no. is 538537 dated on[protected] in between agen I was getting the call from your recovery department
                                              Than agen I call to your call center regarding that matter (which is i already will attached with case no.) they are always take seven days time to clear the matter finally after that 18th march 2009 I will talk to Mis. RATI she told me ok all thing is clear and you getting latter within seven working day matter is over. Than I think , all thing is clear and I am not receiving the call also from your bank. But today after one year and 2 month agen I will getting the call regarding the payment. I was shocked why the things is going on.

                                              Sir we are very busy man we have no time to talk to much of your bank please see the matter otherwise I will take legal action for this matter.                                                 FOR THE FIRST CARD, I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INVOICE BEFORE DUE DATES, AND I STARTED GETTING NUMEROUS CALLS FROM YOUR BANK OR CALL CENTRES. THE PERSON THEY SENT FOR COLLECTION WAS QUITE RUDE TO ME.

                                                IF I AM NOT GETTING ANY INFORMATION ABOUT PAYMENT THRU INVOICE, DO YOU THINK I HAVE TO CALL ICICI BANK FOR THE SAME?? IT IS YOUR DUTY TO SEND BILLS WELL BEFORE TIME..ON THE LAST DATE THE PERSON CAME AND COLLECT SOME RS. 34281/- CHEQUE FROM MY OFFICE.

                                                ONE MS. SUNITA THORAT SENT ME AN INVOICE VIA MAIL. I DO NOT KNOW FROM WHICH BRANCH SHE WAS.

                                                NOW THE NEW INVOICE RECEIVED THAT IS CONSISTING OF LATE PAYMENT FEES, SERVICE TAX [TWICE] AND INTEREST CHARGES. I REQUESTED MS. THORAT REQUESTING HER TO GET THE ABOVE EXCESS CHARGES WAIVED OFF TO ENABLE ME TO PAY THE ACTUAL AMOUNT BEFORE DUE DATE, HOWEVER SHE DID NOT REPLY HENCE THIS MAIL.

                                                IF YOUR CUSTOMER DID NOT RECEIVE BILL BEFORE DUE DATE, IS IT CUSTOMER'S FAULT?? AND ABOVE ALL, IGNORING THIS FACT, YOU HAVE ALL THE RIGHTS TO CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMER, WITHOUT HEARING HIM??

                                                Refer to your email dated 3 sept 2008, yoy stated that Rs 1500 excess charges would be reversed but nothing has been done, I have paid 2370 +1150 but still the amount shown in the Credit card is 22750.
                                                I withdrew 22000 and have paid the interest of 2370+1150=3520 but still the outstanding shown is 21600! What a whooping Interest!Hell with Credit card! and your banking!

                                                    My Name is Sameer Tagare and my date of Birth is 22/06/1978, when I have applied for a Loan, my Banker informed me that My name in CIBIL showing defaulter for one credit card. Can I know that card number and the bank details? I am a prompt payer and I never rolled out also.

                                                    Please inform the process for removing this I never defaulted in my history with any Bank.

                                                      Sir, I had two cards and I had did had some problems with the bank, but later on one card was paid in full and the other was written off due to the bank fault that I did not pay as I had paid to the agent but was not reflected on the statement and as a result hugh fine, service tax etc was imposed on me which I did not allow as it was not my fault. Then the bank made a mutal understanding after I wanted to file a case with the RBI against the bank. Then the bank promise to write off some amount. But now as i applied for a house loan, i was rejected due to my name being in the defaulter list. Kindly remove my name so that i can avail loan and repay back it in an orderly fashion as prescribed my bank rules.

                                                        Dear sir/Madam,

                                                        Re: Unnecessary harassment even after settlement of account and extortion attempt by SBI

                                                        I was a credit card holder of SBI credit card with account no. 000 [protected]. There was payment demand from SBI during regular use of card for late payment even though the payment was dropped before due date. This demand arose because of the inefficiency and callous attitude of SBI Cards.

                                                        After a number of calls to the customer care the issue was not resolved and I received a letter from you dated 23/06/2006 (copy enclosed) giving a one-time settlement offer which stipulated that I would need to pay Rs. 1000/- (rupees one thousand only) in the month of June’ 06 and the issue would be closed. The tracer number of the same is ‘delhi[protected]’. I agreed to this payment even though this demand was not justified as I had not defaulted on any payment. I did this to escape harassment I was being put through. I made the payment in cash to your representative Mr. Jitendra vide your receipt number 5495770 (copy enclosed) dated 26/06/2006.

                                                        However I was shocked to receive letter sent by you dated 23/01/2007 (copy enclosed) saying that an amount was due from me and another final settlement offer of payment of Rs. 1343.695 to be made before 28th Feb 2007. This is shocking since I had already done the final settlement almost 6 months prior to that.

                                                        For the past three years myself and my family members are being harassed by goons hired by SBI cards who call up every day to my residence and use foul language with senior citizens at home when I am not around. They are also threatening me with dire consequences. It is appalling to find that such a reputed organisation like SBI is resorting to actions akin to street thugs and scoundrels to take up a matter that is of SBI’s own making. None of the callers are willing to give their true identities or addresses so that we can follow up and get this rectified. My entire family and myself are being put to unnecessary mental agony and torture at your hand for no fault of ours. We have given all necessary details to your callers umpteen number of times and pleaded and requested them not to disturb us, but to no avail. This attempt of extortion of money needs to stop.

                                                        Kindly acknowledge this letter and instruct your concerned officers to stop harassing myself and my family. Please ensure that necessary action is taken within 7 days of receipt of this letter.

(ICICI bank cheque no. 162076) including late fees of 350 Rs. on 10 th june (Within the 50 days of limit). But from next billing statement onwards I am receiving statement of additional fine and interest amount. This amount now reached to 2361 Rs. I have already stopped using this credit card. Still I am receiving monthly statements for the same.

                                                          WE ARE REGULAR PAYERS OF BILL EVERY MONTH BUT NOW OUR COMPLAINT SHOULD REACH THE RIGHT AUTHORITY THE BOSSES HEAD CHAIRMAN / V.P / PRESIDENTS MANAGING PARTNERS AND DIRECTORS WHO SIT IN OFFICES BOARDS OF MEETING TO DISCUSS A NODAL OFFICER OR SOME ONE TO ADDRESS THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR CUSTOMERS SO LONG RELATION WITH STANDARD CHARTERED BANK SINCE 1997 OR MORE AND TILL DATE HAVING NO PAYMENTS DELAYS BUT NOW FORCED TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNTS WITH THIS CREDIT CARD SERVICE PROVIDER WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND WANTS TO PAY ONLY THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT IE., WITHOUT ANY SERVICE TAXES OTHER HIDDEN CHARGES LIKE LATE PAYMENTS DUE AND WITH ALL ITS EXORBITANT EXPENSIVE CHARGES ARE KILLING WITH INTEREST AND SURCHARGE AND LATE PAYMENT FEES ADDED WITH COLLECTION FEES ADDED TROUBLE.IN ANTICIPATION FROM ALL DEAR FRIENDS TO HELP ME.

                                                          I AGREE THEY ARE BLOODY CHOR DO SOME ACTION TO SOLVE THIS MATTER AND TO SHOW UR FACE TO US THE CUSTOMER YOUR CONSUMER ...YOU WILL HAVE NO CUSTOMER I[censored] BEHAVE LIKE THIS...HELP THIS 65 YEARS OLD PERSON IM WITH YOU.
                                                          I Mr.OMPRAKASH SINGH holding a SCB CREDIT CARD NO:[protected] FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS. . I took it by the brand name of this organization which is totally at par with it's competitor's .But, i was taken aback by the absurd services which the bank is providing me at present. Firstly, the credit card pin which is supposed to come with the credit card itself is missing from day one.However, i took my patience for long time as i keep good relation with the bank & with it's employees too, but, after repeated complaints in the CUSTOMER CARE UNIT OF SCB for my credit card pin i got absoutely feedup STILL, i didn't got he same. I spoke today with CCE OF SCB name piyush choudhury, he, at first took my problem and again giving the false assurance that my pin has already been despatched & i will shortly receive the same, this which i guess is a cooked up story as because the same assurance i got, when i logged my first complaint where they state also the same that within 7 working days i would get the same.but, the same did not happened. when i said i got feed up with this service & wants to esclates this with the higher authority he refuses to do so.
                                                          My question is why the customer care executive refuses so?

                                                          Secondly, i requested a hard copy bill of my credit card for a long time which after many days later i got in my e-mail that also not in proper time.I usually used to make payments depending upon my purchase but, the statement copy which i should retain badly for my personal requirement is missing.

                                                          This is my humble request to this respected organization that the complaint which i am logging right now would be treated fairly & the level of frustration be minimized from my point of view so that i don't have to esclates this to the next level..

                                                          I Mr.ANAND SHARMA holding a SCB CREDIT CARD NO:[protected] FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS and now suddenly Standard charted bank reduce my credit limit from 50000 to 10500.
                                                          I will make regular payment in time limit how they can do it with their costumer. Really I am surprised when I talk to credit card of standard charted bank they tell me that, we reduce the limit of all customer . Why is this happens
                                                          I want answer for that otherwise I will not going to made any payment to standard charted bank.

                                                            Iam an credit card holder in ur bank , i have settelement to ur card amount of 14000/- and three months target wise and also to ur surat agent purpose but ur agent not to clear properly , he is say ur card is settelment threee months purpose and u have pay rs. 14000/- between 3 months but sir i have pay 1st months 7000/- rs and another months is bill send to my address 24000/- so not settelement this frad to my side in ur agent this agent name is mr. mayurbhai so duly clear my problem --- wait to ur reply and my mail
