FabHotels baited us and switched our fully paid reservation in Ayodhya (19NOV2024, 1 Night) from a INR5, 700 hotel 'Venketesh Nilyam' to a homestay 'Siya Behari' worth INR1, 000 on the very day of travel when we were on the airplane without our consent.
Our emails in response to theirs clearly expressed our disapproval and unacceptance. This has severely and negatively impacted our experience and confidence in this franchise....

Need refund of advance payment

I booked 2 rooms from 31/12/23 till 03/01/24 in Fab Hotels Greenland Classic Bhubaneswar through booking.com for my family. I made an advance payment of 3074/- to get my booking confirmed. Total amount was 8232.84 for 2 rooms for 3 nights. However during checkin on 31/12/23 we found that the hotel was entirely different from what was shown in the pics posted on booking.com. Hotel was under construction, lift wasn't working and also hotel did not have any kitchen/restaurant as mentioned in the hotel's description on the site. Rooms were too small, dark and shady which were not at all meant for family stay. Rooms pics were totally opposite of what was shown on booking.com site. We were quite disappointed and asked the receptionist to connect us with property owner to raise our concern, rather we were asked to call the customer service. I cancelled my booking and tried calling the owner which was actually Fab Hotels number. That number was never connected and so i spoke with booking.com and they too denied to help mentioning that property owner has to refund the advance payment.
I need help to get my refund of the advance payment i.e. 3074/- and the pain and the monetary loss that me and my family had to go through as we had to checkin into another hotel by paying additional amount i.e. 15600/- for 3 nights.
Fab hotels are fraudsters as after filing complain into consumer forum I found indefinite complains from various customers so a strict action should be taken against them.

Recently i booked a hotel in indore fabhotel destiny 74 on 3rd october 2023, there services were very bad no one was taking any resposibiities of issues there was no lock in rooms, no water, AC was not working, no cleanliness etc first we complained to hotel staff they did not respond then we raise an issue to fabhotel customer service they said they will talk to hotel staff but no action was taken and even i said i can provide you the photos...

I booked 2 deluxe rooms in fabexpress Pramila Haridwar and upon reaching the hotel got two rooms that were clearly not deluxe

Stayed at fabhotels, andheri, mumbai. On 3rd September 2022. Booked online by paying advance. Fabhotels is a fake company. They only promote prostitution and the hotel is full of pimps and call girls.

Hi I have reserved fab hotel residency Lakdikapool ones from17th to 1 st August
When I went to check in on 17th, the reception showed me 4 rooms, all rooms were so dirty and cockroaches crawling everywhere.
I went to check in with my 8 year old son, he was horrified seeing them around and literally cried .
I got back to the customer service team and asked for refund as we never used the service .
They put a false aligation that they denied the check In.. which is not true, I carried my international passport along with me which they didn’t ask.
They wanted some proof about cockroaches, I went to the hotel again, they said they just did pest control and were cleaning all the rooms when I arrived, but still they were cockroaches around and i took some videos and pics and sent to your team., it’s been more than 72 hours I haven’t got any response .
They said they will get back to me by end of the day today, if I don’t then I will post all this pics to social media tagging all tourist and make it famous …
All I asked in a simple terms that I need my full refund as we didn’t like that place and we didn’t use the service .

Regarding poor treatment at Fab hotels, Casa Kiara hotel, Goa
They did not let us stay for the night despite having received 25% payment upfront. Bad rooms, rude staff and what not. There was no published policy that the payment shall be forfeited if we did not intend to extend the stay. Despite having received the payment, they did not let us stay even for the already paid for night.

It is being brought to your notice that i had made a booking of a room in Fab Hotel Mid town Grand, Panchkula for 3 days(i.e. 19th May to 22nd May) with booking id FMSFCZ. However on the specified day check in was not permitted by the concerned hotel on account of non availability of rooms. Therefore, the price which was already paid by me i.e. Rs6414 was assured to be refunded by the customer care within 4-5 days. However i haven't received the said amount yet.
There has been an undue delay in the refund of amount for the aforementioned cancelled booking. Kindly look in to the matter and ensure the timely refund of the booking amount. I shall be grateful to you.

Need Refund : I was cheated during my stay

This Fab Hotel the vibes Jaipur is a complete scam please don't go by the fake reviews and ratings on websites.
The so called owner of the place SK Rajpoot with phone number [protected] is a big time Fraud and a bloody goon.
We booked 2 Suit rooms with King size bed and made advance payment for it, on reaching the property their was only a small delux room and a suit with 2 single beds to which completely different and in worst condition, unclean beds no amenities as shown on website, infact there were cockroaches all around.
On making the payment I told them I will pay for a suit and a deluxe room, the so called Owner SK Rajpoot convinced me that they will shift us in the suit rooms as promised and asked to make full payment which I did.
He said don't worry I am calling the carpenter who will fix the bed to one and will also fix the non working TVs.
He asked for 15 mins.
But after almost 3 hours of his commitment, that was around 8:30 PM, we called him to confirm the status, to which the reply was completely shocking.
"TV kharab hai to mai kya karu it's a technical fault"
"Why will I call a carpenter"
"There is no room available I will not refund the amount jo karna hai karlo, talk to Fab Hotels"
Luckily we knew a very senior government officer posted in Jaipur. A single call by him took the arrogance out of the owner and he apologized and gave us the suite room. But he did not stop here and tried his dirty tricks even after that. He refused serving tea saying that we don't serve tea after 7 PM. Which is very shocking since their kitchen is operating till 10.30 PM then why tea can not be prepared at 8 PM !!! Also, i already told him that my parents are old and my mother is half paralyzed and he deliberately stopped the lift and she had to walk till 3rd floor.
These people are making double booking on a single room for 2 guest and make fake promises, their property is a real mess do not go by the online pictures.
At the end of the stay this cheat asked us to forward the mail from booking.com with its "Confirmation id and PIN" and then we came to know in the morning he rated him self a 10 from my name, how the hell he can do that?????
I added the review via website and I can see after sometime he removed it, I am a regular customer of booking.com and this is the first time I have experienced such a fraud. I want my complete amount refunded.

I had made a booking with fabhotels for[protected] to[protected] with booking id 3JIJLR but because of Covid this booking got cancelled and fabhotels instead of refunding the amount to my payment source refunded it to fabhotels wallet linked to my account with a condition that it should be utilised within one year, this condition was not there when I made the booking otherwise I would not have made the booking in the first place. I requested them for the refund to payment source but all in vain.

I have booked a room through Fabhotels with booking ID MBK39P for a hotel booking in Goa. I have booked the hotel on 7th of October. I tried for the full payment on 16th October 2019 through my credit card and the amount was taken from my card. But corresponding to my account in fabhotels the amount was not reflected and I was asked to pay again and i paid the same amount through of Rs.11802 through paytm and recicved the receipt. I was keeping on trying for the refund through customer care and mail id given in the fabhotels and I never got a response. Meanwhile I have contacted Canara bank for the payment related issues . I have got a reply as foolws.

I had booked the hotel fab express classio suites shirdi one month ago and when i reached there the hotel staff denied that there is no such booking of mine. I had given evey such details of booking confirmation and email id but they had not accepted the same. They said that they will provide hotels according to their hotel policy which was totally irrelevant and useless.

delaying refund
I have cancelled my booking wid fabhotels on 3rd Sept for 5th Sept and i got a response that Refund would be completed in. 5-7 working days.
However since then they have been giving me same excuse that they are having technical difficulty and each time they raise a new refund request. Refund amount is ₹ 29970/-

fab hotels fraud on my booking

Today is 5th april. I have made booking on fab hotels for 19th apr to 22nd apr (Fab khems) using mobile number - [protected].
I have called fab hotels and customer support executive has created my new user id and i had 500 fab credits in my wallet.
Customer support executive didnot used 500 amount from wallet to make this booking. This is a loss of 500 rs to me.
I have raised this concern on 4th apr with fab executive on facebook page of fab hotels and after that they did a
Fraud with me and did 5-6 bookings and used my fab credits. If person has to use fab credit then otp should come to
My mobile number and i have not received any otp and they have used all 500 fab credit from my account.
After that they have made 14-15 fake booking with some other mobile number (95*) and claiming that it is my booking.
Yesterday i have called and discussed this issue with fab executive mohd. Ulwar and deepali and they assured that
My issue will be resolved in 3-4 hours but nothing has happened.
Today on 5th i got call from kunal from escalations team and he was also not aware of those fake bookings instead he

Today is 5th april. I have made booking on fab hotels for 19th apr to 22nd apr (Fab khems) using mobile number - [protected].
I have called fab hotels and customer support executive has created my new user id and i had 500 fab credits in my wallet.
Customer support executive didnot used 500 amount from wallet to make this booking. This is a loss of 500 rs to me.
I have raised this concern on 4th apr with fab executive on facebook page of fab hotels and after that they did a
Fraud with me and did 5-6 bookings and used my fab credits. If person has to use fab credit then otp should come to
My mobile number and i have not received any otp and they have used all 500 fab credit from my account.
After that they have made 14-15 fake booking with some other mobile number (95*) and claiming that it is my booking.
Yesterday i have called and discussed this issue with fab executive mohd. Ulwar and deepali and they assured that
My issue will be resolved in 3-4 hours but nothing has happened.
Today on 5th i got call from kunal from escalations team and he was also not aware of those fake bookings instead he
Trying to make me feel happy that we have used your fab credits for other bookings. This is disguiting.
I want a resolution as i am really frustated with fake and fraud booking and not utilising my fab credit as time of
My booking. I want my booking from 19th apr to 22nd apr of fab khem's as free as i am suffering from this harrassement from last 2-3 days.

payment updation
I have already paid the minimum booking amount prior to check in which i was asked to. Though the manager at reception says there has been no update on your payment. Moreover i called for customer care and talk to six different assistant and every time they would say that it would be done before day ends but no results since last 4days. This gives very bad impression of fan hotels and i would surely not recommend it to anyone else

I am a pregnant female who decided to go on a baby moon to goa. My husband booked fabescape coco heritage goa. We booked it 15 days back so that we get a good price for our hotel. We reached our hotel on 13th december at 10pm. As soon as we reached there, resort guy told us that they don't have any tie up with fabhotels anymore and they don't even have any booking information. After that the actual harassment started. We kept sitting outside the hotel for almost one and half hour calling up fabhotels. Their three customer care executives answered the call and kept us on hold never answering up back. When their 4th customer care executive answered the call, i started shouting at him. Then he offered to shift us to a normal hotel as the amount that we paid for a resort was matching their hotel price on 13th. Ofcourse if we book the hotel on the same day, the prices would be higher. So instead of offering us some good resort, we were forced to shift in a basic hotel as it was already 11:30 at night and we had no option rather than agreeing to what they were offering us.
Till 11:30 pm, i was sitting hungry outside a resort being pregnant and my husband having no idea where he should take me.
It didn't ended up here. We already paid a huge amount for cab from airport to this resort. There were no cabs available to go from resort to the hotel they were shifting us. Fabhotel didn't had anything to say except that you find something for yourself. We tried contacting the other hotel so that they can send somebody to pick us up but they didnt had anybody as it was already 11:45. We kept waiting outside the resort and my husband was running here and there for help. Finally the owner of resort felt really bad for us and offered to drop us to the fabhotel at 12:15 am after looking at my condition.
I am going to take fabhotel to court for all the harassment they did.
Please don't book anything ever through them. They are # of first order.

Dear sir,
I am vedang sawant staying in room no 101 at prowell cap rock fab hotel from 15th oct to 21st oct in hyderabad. I had 2 bookings 15th to 18th & 18th to 21st. I have made the payment for 15th to 18th but i am not going to pay for my second booking from 18th to 21st. I have the following reasons for not making the payment:
The breakfast is pathetic there are no fruits or juices. The authorities don't even switch on the ac in the restaurant in spite of requesting them.
We asked for plates, spoon & fork for which the answer we received was that its not available because of some party going on in the restaurant.
There is only 1 lamp in the room the false ceiling lamp is not functioning properly, moreover the hotel is not taking any efforts to repair it.
Toilet papers are not being provided we have to ask them for it. Also the shower is not functioning properly & its still not repaired.
The room is not cleaned in spite of telling at reception & putting the tag at the door.
Whatever we order like towel or soap or plates or water, it comes after an hour.
Considering all these points how can you expect us to pay the bill of inr 4138.
Still i have paid the bill, but i need a refund of my money as i am not at all satisfied for what i have paid

confirmed booking, but refused room, saying fully booked
On aug 23rd booked for 2 nights at fabhotels k square, chennai for aug 28-30 and prepaid in full and received confirmation by email. When arriving at the hotel on the 28th, reception told me that there is no room, fully booked. After calling fabhotel customer hotline (Spent more than 2 hours to reach them over phone), they informed that they will refund in 5 to 7 days, but no email confirmation for that. Sent many reminders and no response. Until now, no payment or email received.

struggling for refund

Original booking : rs. 9600/- for 8th nov '18 to 12th nov'18
Modified booking : 8th nov '18 to 1th nov'18 for which received refund rs. 2400/-
Now cancelled whole booking on 7th august'18 and still struggling to receive refund of rs. 7200/-
On 7th aug i was been told will receive refund within 7 days.
After waiting for 7 days on 14th aug i was been told refund has been initiated on 12th aug and will be credited to my source account within 7 days.
After waiting 7 days called them again on 19th aug... Surprisingly same answer "will be credited in 7 days".
Every time different executives are answering and all are giving same reply : will be credited within 5 - 7 days..
Now whenever i call them they are putting my call on hold and not coming back even after 10-15 mins...
This is pathetic experience with fsbhotels. Request you to take necessary actions...

Hello Fabhotels,
With utter disgust and anger, I write this email to you to notify how unpleasant and how shocking our experience has been in our stay at your hotel Fab Hotel Arton Suites Hotel in Mumbai. We had booked a hotel room for 3 persons with the booking reference booking ID: BI3DS8. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that 4 people cannot stay in the hotel room and that one o[censored]s would have to wait in the lobby throughout the day. Two o[censored]s were going to leave by the evening and we had even conveyed this to the hotel reception, who I should point out was utterly disrespectful, inhuman and ill-mannered. The hotel receptionist did not even guide us by saying we could stay on by paying for the fourth guest. Instead he told us that “Fabhotels does not own this hotel and it is we who are the bosses here”. When we contacted Fabhotel customer support, they were useless too. They kept repeating the same made-up policy that “Any guests has to stay in the lobby” which is never mentioned in your terms and conditions. It is a shame that a company as big as yours clarifies terms and conditions on phone and this is a matter I can sue you for. Any terms and conditions have to be very specific and cannot be clarified over phone later on.
Again, the nightmare doesn't end there. After contacting Fabhotels customer support, they told us that we can pay for another person and stay there. Now when we convey this to the receptionist, he denies us entry after being ill mannered and foul mouthed himself. This has to be the first time this has happened to anyone and I can damn well bet I can bring down your business and the hotel itself for this episode alone. No hotel has any right to deny entry after confirming the booking no matter what. We had 12 big pieces of luggage and the hotel receptionist asks us to leave the hotel and find some place else. When again we contacted FabHotel to discuss with Hotel Manager they replied that they have no authority over the Hotel Manager and also cannot refund the booking amount. It means if anything goes wrong Fabhotels is a mere salesman who cons people into booking hotels and then washes its hands off leaving us at the mercy of the hotels.
I dont think I can explain through email the magnanimity of the helplessness and trouble we felt that day all because we trusted your brand to deliver. And deliver it did, by asking us to go away with 12 bags and a family on a rainy day.
Since this is the first time I am reporting this problem, I want to give your company a chance to show us that you do care about your customers and this was a once in a while event and that you will ensure punishment to the hotel staff befitting the fiasco.
I hope when i see your reply, it is convincing and subsides the anger in me or I can and I will ensure Fabhotels becomes HISTORY!

I experienced worst in hospitality by Mr. Shiavm At Reception of Fabhotel Padmavati Palace Jaipur, this person don't have manners, etiquette, courtesy, sense that how to deal and speak with hotel guests this was the worst behavior i ever had with any hotel, there i tolerated maximum deficiency of services, also i contacted hotel corporate office but they failed to resolve it.

Fabhotel mumbai charged us 12050 while checking out and said invoice will be mailed to email id. When I received the invoice it was for 10846. I am trying to get this resolved for more than 2 weeks now but no one is responding properly even after multiple follow ups.

Dear Sir –
I would like to bring in your notice about my case where I was denied to refund my money.
After reading all the terms and conditions available on the website (www.fabhotels.com, also attaching the PDF copy of the terms and conditions) I booked a room on 4-Nov-15 at 9:29 pm for staying on 5th & 6th Nov and opt to pay through payTM, I paid INR 3248 and received a SMS for the confirmation of booking (Attached is the screen shot of the confirmation SMS). I reached the booked hotel and asked for room at the reception. The hotel staff told me that since my ID proof is of Delhi therefore the room cannot be provided to me because of the policy. I told the hotel staff that I have read all the policies before making the bookings and nothing of this sort is mentioned on the website I showed him the received SMS for the booking confirmation and the SMS is also has nothing like that. Then I called the customer care no of Fabhotels and spoke to the executive. I told him that if this the policy then this should have mentioned in the terms and conditions on the website (you may cross check the same on the website), the executive apologized and said that the room cannot be provided, he also said that they always told about this policy to the customer while customer booked the room through call center. I politely told him to cancel the booking and asked him by when my money will be refunded. The customer care executive told me that the money will be refunded in 5-7 days (the same can checked from your recording department) and I left the hotel.
I dialed the customer care number on Saturday i.e. 14-Nov-15 and I was told that my money will be refunded by Monday i.e. 16-Nov-15.
I dialed the customer care number on Tuesday i.e. 17-Nov-15 and had a conversation with Ms. Swati. She was polite and said sorry for the inconvenience and asked me for my bank details after 12 days of my cancellation and Fabhotels realized that my money cannot be refunded because the policy of not providing rooms to same city ID card holders, which was not shared with the guest on the website anywhere. I received an e-mail for the same on 17-Nov-15. I was also provided a copy of policy which states about the not providing rooms to same city ID card holders which is not accessible to anyone on your website. I was told that the this was provided to me with the confirmation e-mail, which I didn’t checked because I was assured about my booking with the SMS that was also received from Fabhotels. I explained the same through e-mail many times but I was clearly dined for the refund.
Sir,
I have few queries
- Why the policy of not providing rooms for same city ID holder is not available on the website
- Why the same is not been communicated to me with the confirmation SMS
- Why I was misguided by customer care executive for two time that my money will be refunded
- Even nothing mentioned about the same city ID thing and I agree to go out of your hotel without even argued with anyone but why my money is not refunded to me till now.
I would like to explain my situation with an illustration
Suppose you are in an apple show room and showed your interest to buy a iPhone 6S. The shopkeeper told you that the amount of the phone is 60000 and you swipe your card for the same amount but while making the bill of the phone the shopkeeper asked you for the copy of you ID and you showed your ID which of America. The shopkeeper told you that they have policy to sell the phones only to the Indian citizen and that’s why you cannot buy the phone. He also showed you the policy which is written on the back side of bill. You agreed with the shopkeeper that asked him to refund the money. The shopkeeper told you that he has initiated for refund the amount will be refunded into your card in 5-7 working days. You felt bad because your money is stuck with the shopkeeper and the amount of time that you wasted. But after a week when you visit the shopkeeper to check the status of your refund, you was told that the money cannot be refunded because of the policy.
Sir –
I am a working guy and every rupee is earned with lots of hard work and matters a lot for me. I understand that every organization exists to earn money but this was a clear case of cheating. I am feeling being cheated by Fabhotel.
I am expecting a positive response from you soon.
